Inside a quaint cottage not far from the centre of town and only a walk from the town's isolated farm, a lady was standing in her kitchen, whistling in tune to the wild but ever-present birds on her windowsill.

Her butter-yellow dressing gown kept the morning chill at bay, and her long pink hair helping to block the harsh rays of sun leaking in through the clouds illuminating her kitchen in a honey glow.

The chickens in the coup clucked merrily, and deer sprang past the garden fence with not a care in the world.

She had always gotten up early to feed her animals and prepare a hearty meal for her hardworking pet's, which happened to be one plate of bacon, eggs, tomato and hash browns.

The second plate with everything minus the bacon, some tofu in its place with a glass of freshly made orange juice with added pulp just the way they liked it.

All that was left now was her favourite part of the morning, the 'wake up ritual'.

The gown-clad woman quietly walked up to the stairs. She shortly stepped onto the landing and b-lined to the farthest door opening it with a slight squeak. There were two beds adjacent to one another. The room split into two distinct sections, one with a more childish aesthetic and a more grown-up feel.

Going to the left side of the room, she sat on the side of the bed. She carefully rubbed the head of the sleeping teen moving her hair out the way and planting a single kiss on her forehead. A faint purring sound came as a reaction to the affection, and soon after, her eyes fluttered open, and a calm smile graced her lips.

"Good mornin Fluttershy."

"Did you have a good sleep, Apple Bloom?."

"Sure did. I were really cosy...you?."

"Oh, my sleep was excellent, thank you; your breakfast is on the table, and I made sure to add the extra pulp."

Apple Bloom sat up and embraced Fluttershy in a firm hug and started to purr again when she felt her owners hand rub her back up and down, and then in circular motions, Apple Bloom let out a few mews, but her hunger got the better of her.

Hence, she gave Fluttershy another hug and ran downstairs to gorge herself on her owners cooking.

Light snoring caught her attention, Smiling she made her way over to the bed on the right side and lay down on the empty side of the bed where her fiancé was napping.

Fluttershy snaked her hand under the blankets and started to rub her toned stomach with purpose and care.

After about five seconds, Fluttershy had utterly lost herself in action and did not notice her future wife's leg twitching under the covers or the growling not until she was pulled towards the formerly sleeping girl, instantly capturing her lips in a heated kiss that was fast and heavy and ended off with a lick to the cheek.

Fluttershy blushed a fierce crimson and leaned down for a second kiss that was just as if not more heated than the first. Their foreheads rested against each other's and with shaky breaths that ghosted over the more muscular girl's lips.

"Breakfast is uh...ready, Applejack all the trimmings and the pulp."

"What did I do to deserve an angel like you, Shy?... I right proper, don't know."

Apple Bloom could hear some giggling from upstairs and was not surprised to see her older sister carrying Fluttershy down the stairs bridal style with a few spins and a kiss. Applejack let Flutters get to her feet.

"Oh, Applejack, you're always so enthusiastic in the mornings."

Applejack hooked Fluttershy by the waist with an arm and brought her close.

"A course I am. Did you forget what day it is today, Shy?."

Apple Bloom went to answer, but her words could not bypass the bacon and tomato that she was chewing, so instead, she had a small coughing fit and then restarted her eating with gusto.

"I haven't forgotten, um...Jacky, do you think Rainbow will be pleased when we ask her to be the Maid of Honour for our wedding."

"I'm sure as sugar. She will be downright giddy. Out of all of us, you two have basically grown up with each other, attended the same school, had sleepovers, you even know each other's deepest, guarded secrets. Apart from Twilight and Spike, you two are as thick as thieves could be.

I would know one thing for sure, butternut if you didn't offer Dash the Maid of Honour, she would be mighty heartbroken. I can tell you that for all the bits in the world."

Fluttershy listened to every word coming out of the farm girl's mouth and, by the end, caught her in the most forceful hug she could manage.

"Thanks for reassuring me, Applejack...now go and eat your food before it gets cold."

Applejack unlatched herself from Fluttershy and sat down in her regular spot.

Time flew by, and before Fluttershy knew it, she saw Applejack and Apple Bloom off as they took the short walk to their family farm to help their elder brother Big Macintosh and visit Granny Smith.

The work they performed was collecting apples for their own brand -Sweet Acres Apple Cider- it was too local to be the talk of the surrounding area. Still, nearly enough, every citizen who lived in Pearl Valley loved the stuff, so much so that it had breezed through all the red tape and became the location's national drink. Publicity like that is suitable for the soul and the coffers.

Fluttershy went upstairs to shower and get dressed for the day ahead; she would be lying if she said she wasn't excited to see her dearest friends.
