Discouraging Her Friend 2
The Confession
Load Full StoryTwilight was going back to her castle in Ponyville as she was tired out from a dinner with dignitaries from Seaquestria.
When she finally got inside her castle she got undressed and got dressed into regular clothes and collapsed on her bed and sighed as she stretched out.
After she had laid there for a bit Twilight heard somepony come up the stairs. Twilight sat up and waited for the person to show themselves since she wanted to know who was there.
Soon Spike appeared in her doorway with a nervous expression. Twilight sat up and became concerned by his expression as she began to realize that something was bothering him.
Twilight hoped that Spike wasnt hurt or had gotten in trouble because those were the only two possibilities that made him that way that she could think of
"Hey Spike! You look like your on edge is something the matter?" Twilight asked him as Spike gulped as he focused his on her.
"Twilight theres something... I've been meaning to tell you...but I dont know if you want to hear it." Spike said as he became quiet once again to the shock of Twilight as never never seen Spike this hesitant before. She wondered what the problem was.
"Its alright you can tell me anything Spike. I dont want you be uncomfortable in being open with me. We've known eachother forever so go ahead." Twilight encouraged.
Spike fiddled his fingers nervously as he felt like he would faint from nervousness, finally he spit it out.
"I...know for a while that you take...ballet lessons...I've been curious about the dance for a few months now and have been researching about it....I want to do ballet Twilight..." Spike admitted.
Twilight was shocked when she heard that she stared at Spike as she couldnt believe what she had heard. Twilight narrowed her eyes.
"Spike only girls do ballet...Are you a sissy Spike? Twilight responded.
Spike was shocked when he heard Twilight say this, all hope that he had fired Twilight to be understanding was thrown out the window.
Spike had thought that Twilight would have been more accepting of his dream but the hope of that possibility was crushed when Twilight had said what she had said.
"But...Twilight a lot of boys do ballet! Theirs nothing wrong with it!" Spike said as he began started to tear up.
"I dont care you live under my roof! I wont have you becoming a little prancing sissy!" Twilight ranted with a stern tone.
"But...Twilight your being just like Rarity when she tried to discourage you!" Spike said. Twilight shook her head.
"I'm a girl so she had no right in saying that but this is different! Your a boy Spike! Boys should be doing manly stuff! You should have hung out with Night Light more so that this unnatural thought that you have wouldng have been formed!" Twilight ranted.
Spike was crying heavily now, he wiped at his eyes but more tears just came out. He couldnt believe how wrong this had turned out. He was not expecting Twilighg to react like this.
"Twilight...I-I want to dance...its a dream of mine!" Spike sobbed.
"I dont care! Your not going to become a faggot on me Spike I wont have it! You are to stop having this silly thought and be a man and do manly activities. Your not going to prance around like a little fairy! If you took lessons you would embarress me in front of dignitaries and Celestia! My reputation in Equestria would be ruined you queer!" Twilight yelled.
"You dont mean to say that you think negatively of all Male dancers! Theres a bunch of them all over Equestria and beyond Twilight and they are all good!" Spike exclaimed.
"Just because theirs a bunch of them just proves my point that sissiness is spreading throughout Equestria! Their fathers never beat them when they were little! If you become one of them I'll disown you! I will not have a sissy for an assistant! Man up! Now get out of my sight!" Twilight ranted.
"Twilight you dont understand...i...this is my dream! Are you saying you want me to throw away my dream?!" Spike cried. Twilight sighed.
"I dont care Spike. You should find another more socially acceptable dream that men should do. You will not entertain these girly thoughts that you have Spike! I dont want to see you near the dance center or see you with Hoofer Steps. You are a man, dancing like a little girl is not manly its pathetic and sick. If you try and pay for lessons I will find out and ship you back to mom and dad and then you can explain to them why I sent you back to them. I forbid you from learning how to dance. Your a man act like one!" Twilight ranted.
Spike sobbed and shook profusely as he left Twilight and went to hide from her downstairs. He was devastated and mortified by what happened. He would never be able to learn as he couldnt exactly pay for a class himself or get taught in secret.
Twilight sighed happy that the ordeal was over. She hoped she wasnt going to have that discussion ever again.
Twilight had no idea Spike would become interested in dance it had thrown her completely off guard. She would have to forbid him from coming to her performances now because she was afraid that it might encourage his dream which she did not want.
Twilight knew that if Spike did take lessons it would be discovered and reported to the media. It would embarress Twilight and make Spike like a weak sissy.
Twilight hoped that Spike would lose interest in Ballet so that he wouldnt ask that question ever again. It will probably take only a few days for him to get over it if it was a silly thought he had or it will take a few years if he was serious about it.
Twilight hoped that what happened would never happened again. However Spike didn't loose interest and over the coarse of a few days talked to all of his friends in Ponyville about learning ballet.
Spike finally decided to sign up for a ballet class and when he did he revealed what Twilight had said to him and Twilight was reprimanded Twilight soon realized that what she did was wrong and apologized to Spike.
Spike began learning ballet in his class and got good at it. He was picked on by some males in Ponyville from time to time but Twilight stopped it by always standing up for him. Spike was finally making his dream into a reality just like how Scootaloo and Twilight and Pinkie Pie had made their dreams into realities. He was happy that he had pursued his dream.
