Flurry Heart's New Sister

(POV of Flurry Heart)

It's been 5 years since I was born, and I'm going to tell you that my birth was one thing that went down in history.
Today was going to be the best day ever, because I'm getting a little sister! And this is very exciting for me, I always wanted to have a sister. Someone I can play with and not feel different from other foals for being the only filly foal. I'm at Crystal Impire Hospital with my Aunt Twilight Sparkle, my father Shining Armor is in the delivery room with my mother Cadance. I could not wait to finally have a sister, and I was getting a little impatient.

"Auntie Twilight!" I told my aunt that she was sitting next to me.

"What was Flurry?" She said.

"When will I hear from Mom and my new little sister?" I asked her.

"Dear Flurry, it's only been 6 minutes since they entered the delivery room." She told me calmly

"Oh"

My aunt gave me a look.

"Flurry what is it?"

"Nothing Auntie Twilight, I'm just so excited to finally have a sister, I just wish it would not be that long"

My aunt gave me a smile and put the hooves around me

"Do not worry soon you'll be able to see your mother and sister, you just need to be patient"

"Okay, but it's being difficult," I grumbled.

It's been 2 hours since my parents went into the delivery room and I was about to explode. But to my delight the nurse who was in the room accompanying everything went out the door and walked to me and my aunt, I immediately got up and my aunt did the same.

"Hi, good news, the delivery was a success, your highnesses, you can go veils if you want," she said with a smile, my aunt and I nodded and walked to the living room. When we entered we saw my mother holding a beautiful little pony in her hooves and my father was standing beside her. I flew to my parents and gave them the biggest hug of all.

"Wow ... Is this my little sister?" I said hello to the baby. she had the purple and yellow mane, her skin was a little darker pink than my mother's, her wings were mostly purple, and her eyes were blue.

"Yes dear, this is your little sister," my mother said weakly as she kissed my head. I laughed.

"She's really beautiful, congratulations!" my Aunt Twilight said as she walked over to the foal and caressed her head.

"Thank you Twily," my father said with a smile.

"How do we call her?" I asked

"Well, your father and I were thinking .... And we decided to call her Skyla," my mother said with a smile on her face.

"It's a beautiful name," I said.

"Now our family is complete," my father said. Soon after we all hugged each other in the family, and I could tell that this was going to be a great start for me!

A few days later my parents were allowed to go home with the baby. I was at home with my Aunt Twilight waiting for them. Soon after, the door opened revealing my parents to Skyla.

"Mommy Daddy!" I ran to them and gave them a big hug.

"Hello Flurry, have you behaved with Aunt Twilight?" My mother asked, looking at me and my aunt.

"Yes Cadance she behaved very well!" My aunt said stroking my head. My mother nodded.
How she used her magic to put Skyla in her cradle. I was in love. I was really enjoying having a sister, or at least I thought so.

I was asleep turning from side to side on the bed, I had a horrible nightmare.

I was walking to Skyla's crib and she was playing with her toys, I found it very cute so I approached her, but the minute I did that she used her magic to get me and then lock me out of the window. I was screaming but no one was listening until I realized that my parents had entered the room and were caressing Skyla, soon after they took some pictures that I was with them and they took me out of the photos and replaced me with Skyla. I could not take it anymore I started to scream and cry but no one listened to me I started to feel alone as if nobody wanted me in the world

"AAAA" I woke up screaming soon after I started to cry and ran to my parents' room. I opened the door and my mother woke up.

"Flurry, what happened?" My mom said worried

"Mama," I said in tears streaming down my face. My mother used her magic to get me and put me to bed with her. That made my father wake up.

"Flurry? Cadance? What's going on?" He asked

"It seems like Flurry had a dear nightmare," my mother said, I nodded.

"Oh do not worry Flurry, whatever it is that you've dreamed know that nothing was real" My dad said in a sweet tone

"Not even you replacing me with Skyla?" I asked in a frightened tone, my parents widened their eyes and looked at each other

"Flurry? Is that what you dreamed about?" My mother asked, and I nodded. My mother looked at my father and then at me and said

"Flurry dear, this will never happen you'll never be replaced" my mother said as she kissed my head, I stroked my head on her chest.

"You can sleep here with us tonight," my father said, I nodded. Soon after I lay down in the midst of my parents I went back to sleep. Wondering if that nightmare was real or not?

I woke up the next morning and walked into the kitchen for breakfast. I saw my mother feeding Skyla, I thought it was cute. Then Mom momentarily left the kitchen. It was just me and Skyla. I flew to her and carefully stroked her mane.

"You're so cute, Skyla, I'm lucky to have a little sister like you," I said as I stroked her mane. She suddenly made a face at me, my eyes widening as I clearly was not expecting it. Things got worse when Skyla used her magic to make the milk she was taking pour on top of her and then put the bottle on my paw, soon after she started to cry.

"Wwwwwaaaaaaaaa" she cried, my eyes widened I was not expecting it either, I was not surprised she could use magic at this age, after all anything is possible for a baby alicorn, and I was the same at that age.

"SKYLA! What did you do?" I screamed at her and she cried more. I did not know what to do, but luckily my parents arrived on time.

"Flurry! What's going on here ?!" My mother asked in a tone of anger.

"Mama Skyla used her magic to pour milk on top of her." I said, my father raised his eyebrow and said,

"Flurry Heart! You know very well that your sister is only a few days old, it is not possible that she used her magic alone! My father told me in anger, I opened my eyes

"But Daddy-hh," Mom cut me off.

"Nothing but Flurry! And that bottle in your hoofs?" My mother asked me suspiciously, I looked at the bottle and then I realized what was happening

"Mom, do not you think I spilled the milk on Skyla, did not I?" I asked suspiciously, my mother gave me a look

"Flurry, you were the only one in the kitchen so what do you think?" My mother said

"What? Mama, it was not me!" I said

"Flurry Heart without explanation! Now go to your room!" My father told me, I sadly nodded and obeyed.

Some 1 hour passed and I was in my room lying on my bed, I was still unconvinced by what had happened in the kitchen with Skyla.

"Did Skyla do it on purpose?" I thought, when suddenly I noticed a note in my closet. I flew to him and got him using my magic, the note said: (Get out!)

I did not understand what I read, but I was beginning to suspect that Skyla did not like me in any way.

I tried not to think about it, but found it difficult after what had happened.
I thought it best to get closer to Skyla to see if my theory was true.

After that "incident" with the bottle, I tried to get closer to Skyla, just to know if she likes me or not. My parents were busy with real duties so this would be a good opportunity to get closer to my sister. I was now in the room with her, and she kept staring at me with a strange look, I started to get scared but she's just a baby who could barely make it?

"Blahsks" he tried to speak

"An? What was Skyla? Are you hungry?" I asked her and she shook her head no.

"So you want to play?" I asked and she laughed clapped her hands, I found it cute.

"Okay, let's play hide and seek! I'm going to close my eyes and when I open you need to have hidden yourself, okay?" She nodded.

I closed my eyes and started counting.

"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 ....." I kept counting until I finally reached the end.

"Okay Skyla! I'm going to open my eyes and it's better that you've already hidden yourself" I said as I slowly opened my eyes, but the minute I opened I realized I was not at home, I was in the middle of Everfree Forest.

"AAAAAAA!" I screamed

"How did I get here ?!" I wondered desperately. I had no idea how to get back home, but I remembered that my Aunt Twilight lived near here, so I decided to go to her castle, I think she could help me.

(POV of Twilight Sparkle)

I was sitting reading a book peacefully in the castle library until the doors opened revealing a 5 year old alicorn floating in the air. It was my niece Flurry Heart. But how did she get here? Cadance and Shining Armor are around?

"Hello Auntie Twilight" said Flurry Heart

"How did you get here, are your parents here?" I asked suspiciously.

"Not Auntie Twilight, to tell you the truth, I do not even know how I came to stop here"

"But how so?"

"I was playing hide and seek with my little sister, and after I opened my eyes I realized that I was not home anymore"

"My God Flurry! But your parents must be desperate behind you! Come on, I'll take you back home," I said.

"Okay, Auntie Twilight," Flurry said.

I was about to open the door to take Flurry back home until she called me.

"Auntie Twilight? Can I ask you a question?" Flurry said

"Sure, Flurry, you can ask me anything," I said.

"Well do you think babies are born hating others?"

I was surprised by her question, but I shook my head.

"Of course not Flurry, a baby can not hate someone, but why are you asking me that?" I asked suspiciously.

"Oh for nothing, Auntie Twilight," she said.

I nodded and started dating Flurry from the castle.

(POV of Cadance)

"WHAT HOW DID YOU STOP IN EVERFREE FOREST ?!" I asked in a worried tone of anger.

"I do not know, mother, I was playing hide and seek with Skyla and when I opened my eyes and was not home anymore," Flurry said as he stood beside Twilight and Shining Armor

"Flurry Heart, please tell the truth!" Shining said

"But I'm telling you the truth, Dad! Please believe me," Flurry said imploringly.

I nodded, because I knew Flurry was not lying. But that was weird was it.

"All right darling, we'll believe you," I said quietly as I stroked her mane. She hugged me.

"Thank you Mama," she said.

(POV of Flurry Heart)

I do not know what's happening anymore, my only thought now was that Skyla just did not like me. I was not sure before, but after what just happened I have no doubts. Now all I have left is to keep an eye on her.

After a week, I was on the sofa in the living room in front of the fireplace with my mother in a rocking chair. I was enjoying this moment until ....

"Waaaaaaaaa" Skyla's cry was heard from the room, my mother laid me down and stood up.

"Sorry Flurry, but I have to see your sister," she said.

"But .... You're coming back, are not you?" I asked

"Yeah, sure darling," she said as she kissed my forehead and walked to Skyla's room. Then the door to the room opened, revealing my father in his underwear.

"Dad!" I screamed as I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Hi, my little Flurry!" He said hugging me back. Suddenly another cry was heard from Skyla's room. My dad broke the hug and said,

"Sorry Flurry, I have to see if your sister is well, I'll see you later"
After he said it, he left the room and went straight to Skyla's room.

I was a bit sad, since Skyla arrived my parents have not had much time for me. I began to feel excluded from everything.

"Ah," I sighed sadly as I went to my room.

More days passed and I was being pushed aside even more. Every time I asked one of my parents if they wanted to do something nice with me, their response was always the same. "I'm sorry, Flurry, but ..... We have to take care of your sister" I was no longer able to handle this situation, even my Aunt Twilight seems to prefer her more now. But that was not the worst of it. I was alone in Skyla's room with her, when suddenly she started ripping all the stuffed toys she had, and started spreading all over the room.

"SKYLA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?!" I yelled at her but all she did was look at me and show the tongue, I was surprised by that. Suddenly the bedroom door opened revealing my furious-looking parents.

"FLURRY HEART! YOU HAVE MUCH TO EXPLAIN MOLLY!" My father shouted at me, I narrowed my eyes, but then I began to touch myself with something.

"Daddy, it was not me! It was Skyla! She messed up! She wants you to think I did all this!" I said

"Flurry Heart! Your sister is not old enough to mess a room all by herself! And mostly put the blame on you!" My mother shouted.

My eyes began to tear, I looked up at Skyla who made a face at me and giggled. I made a face at her back and my mother saw that.

"Flurry Heart is no use trying to put the blame on your sister! Now go to your room!" She said, I flew out of there and went straight to my room.

I was in my bed crying I was not understanding what was happening, but if there was one thing I knew exactly what was happening was that Skyla hated me.

"I think it was a mistake to ask for a little sister," I thought.

And at that moment I thought of something else that I might regret someday. I picked up a basket that was on my own, and went to Skyla's room.

It was late at night, and everyone was already asleep, I was in Skyla's room and she was sleeping peacefully. I walked to the crib where she was and carefully removed it from her crib and put it into the basket, after which I started walking out of the castle.

When I was out of the castle I started flying out of Crystal Impire. Soon after I arrived in a cold place and the blizzard was very strong. I landed on the ground and looked everywhere until I spotted a cave near there.

I took the basket with my magic and flew there. When I was inside the cave I put the basket where Skyla was in a corner of the cave and I thought,

"Am I making the right choice? After all Skyla is still my sister right?" I looked all over the cave and then at Skyla. She slowly opened her eyes and eyes to every corner and cast a look of "Where am I?" I looked at her and then started walking out of the cave.

She saw this and began to cry.

"Waaaaaaaa" she cried, I pretended I was not listening and kept walking, until she called my name.

"Flu ... rry," she tried to say, I rolled my eyes and looked back and saw her holding out her arms to me.

I could not stand it and went to her. She used her magic to take something from under the blanket.

I did not believe what I saw.

I was surprised by what I saw, I thought Skyla did not like me but by the way I was wrong, I cheated ugly.

"Flu ... rry," she tried to say. I carefully took her out of the basket and hugged her.

"I'm sorry, Sky," I whispered in his ear. She tried to say something.

"Excuse"

I smiled, hugged her as tightly as I could.

"Alright Sky," I said, after that I kissed her forehead and put it back in the basket along with the sketch.

Skyla used her magic to transport us to her room in the castle, which surprised me. But okay, I was just the same at that age.

I used my magic to put the picture on the wall, and then I put Skyla in the crib.

I did not leave her alone tonight, so I flew to the crib and lay with her. She suddenly hugged me and I did the same.

Then I realized that all my theories about Skyla not liking me were wrong. She was just being a baby, in no time she intended to harm me. And my parents never stopped loving me.

But what I really was sure at that moment was that Skyla loved me, and I did the same.

(POV of Cadance)

My husband and I, Shining Armor, were walking down the hallway that night to see if our daughters were well. We went to Skyla's room and were delighted with what we saw.

Flurry and Skyla were sleeping peacefully in the crib, hooves around each other. Me and Shining smiled at the scene.

"Really Shining, I could not have asked for two better daughters," I said.

"Me neither sweetie," he said as he put the hoof around me, and I laid his head on his chest and continued to watch our daughters sleeping peacefully, what seemed hours ....
