Scootaloo's Saga

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I put Scootaloo on the bed and began to caress her mane while she coughed a little, Soarin was down in the living room waiting for me. I was feeling so guilty about all this.

"Scootaloo, I'm sorry ..... I should have told you the truth from the beginning ..." I said softly.

Scootaloo's eyes began to fill with tears.

And now I understand if you do not forgive me ... I've never been one of the best mothers- "I was cut off with Scootaloo hugging me tightly, my eyes widening at his touch.

"I forgive you ... Mother ..." Scootaloo said crying tears of happiness.

I kissed her head and hugged her back.

"Thank you ..... My daughter ... And I'm sorry" I said with tears in my eyes.

"Alright ... And I'm sorry I ran away," she said.

"Shhh, alright ... What matters now is that you're okay ..." I said

We held each other for a long time, until Scootaloo fell asleep on my chest. I gently smiled at her.

"Rainbow?" I turned to see who it was, and saw Soarin standing at the door of the room.

"Are you all right?" He asked

"More than you could ever imagine," I said, smiling at him.

He gently approached me and kissed my head, and we both stayed right there for a while what looked like hours watching Scootaloo sleeping.

And this was just the beginning of my new life ...
