Scootaloo's Saga

(Scootaloo POV)

It's been a month since: I started the search to find my mom, Rainbow Dash adopted me and she and Soarin started dating. I was very happy for them, they really make a perfect couple.

I was still looking for information about my mother but so far nothing. I was beginning to lose hope. until today.

I was in my room at the Rainbow Dash house with Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle. We were talking about new methods to find my biological mother.

"Very well, Crusaders, time to think of a new method to find the mother of our friend Scootaloo!" Said Sweetie Belle

Rainbow Dash was walking down the hall and stopped at the door of my room and began to hear our conversation unnoticed.

"Yes, the city hall certainly has something about my past!" I said

So that's where Rainbow Dash came into the room.

"Hi, girls, what are you guys talking about?" She asked. I approached her and said.

"We are thinking of new methods to find my mother! This is not amazing Rainbow Dash!" I said smiling.

Rainbow Dash did not seem very happy about it, actually every time I talk about finding my biological mother, she gets tense, it seems she does not want me to talk about it.

"Yes .... It's incredible and everything but ..... I think you'd better stop with those searches," she said in a serious tone.

I narrowed my eyes and stepped back.

"What? Why?" I asked confused.

"It's for your good, I do not want you to get hurt!" She said

"But I need to know who my mother is Rainbow Dash, you do not understand how it is!" I said the edge of tears

"I understand yes but .... I just want to protect you ... Now let's not talk about it again, okay?" Rainbow Dash said as he left the room.

I was sitting on the ground floor, I certainly was not expecting it.

"Do not look like Scootaloo, she should not have spoken badly," said Apple Bloom

"Yes, but .... Why does she always look like this when I talk about my mother? Does she even seem like she does not want me to meet my mother?" I said

"Maybe she just wants to protect you," said Sweetie Belle.

"From what? I do not know but ... I feel she's hiding something from me ..... And I'm going to find out what it is," I said

(Rainbow Dash POV)

I was sitting on the grass in the Ponyville grove with Soarin for our one month anniversary. I was with a worried expression on his face and Soarin was beginning to worry about me.

"Dashie? What happened?" He asked softly looking at me.

"Well .... It's Scootaloo ... She's making up missions to find her biological mother ...... And that's making me worried .... I do not want her to get hurt," I said.

"I know you're right to worry but she's just a kid, she's just excited about all this soon enough, and besides that should not be easy for her not to know anything about her past," he said.

"I know but .... I do not want her to think that her mother did not want her .... She just could not even ...." I said looking down at the floor, Soarin raised an eyebrow.

"And how do you know that?" He said

My eyes widened at the question.

"Well .... I-I ..." I tried to say

Soarin put a wing on my back and kissed my forehead.

"Come on dear, you know you can trust me, do not you?" He said in a sweet tone and I nodded.

"Well .... Do not be surprised at what I'm going to tell you and ...... Please promise me you will not tell anyone, especially Scootaloo," I said in a serious tone.

"Of course Baby I promise I will not tell anyone," he said softly as he held my helmet.

I took a deep breath and said,

"Soarin ..... Scootaloo is my daughter," I said.

Soarin's eyes widened.

"W-what? B-but how ...?" He said

"Y-yes ..... That's why I do not want her to continue this quest, I'm afraid she'll find out and get hurt," I said with tears in my eyes.

Soarin hugged me and said.

"Shhhh that's fine Dashie I understand, but .... Why did not you tell anyone that Scootaloo is your daughter?" He asked softly as he hugged me, I opened my mouth to respond but the instant I made an orange filly appeared out of nowhere with two other filth.

It was Scootaloo and the other Crusaders

"W-what? R-Rainbow D-Dash is my mother?" She asked with tears in her eyes.

I pulled away from Soarin and started to walk towards Scootaloo.

"Scootaloo, listen to me-" I was cut off because she pulled away from me when I got close.

"Y-you are my mother, you abandoned me! And you did not tell me anything after all this time!" She screamed with tears in her eyes.

"I did not want to! I was forced! I did not want you to get hurt!" I told her with tears in my eyes.

"I do not believe you!" She said

After that she ran out of the woods and the other Crusaders followed her.

I stood there, shocked by what just happened. I started to cry heavily and Soarin approached me and hugged me.

"Shhhh Rainbow calm, she's just shocked at all this, when you explain what happened she'll understand," he said softly

"I-I hope so ..." I said as I wept on his chest, and he was kissing me softly on the head.
