Stupid Sexy Flurry

Twilight had never been so glad to live in a castle before, to have real walls between her and the rest of the world. Her meeting with Flurry had been a disaster. The young mare had been the one in charge there, not her. And she was supposed to be the headmare! What was this going to do to the school? Twilight wasn't so naïve as to think that things like that would remain private. Soon all the students would know that even with piles of documented misbehavior she could be bullied into submission. It was inevitable. Especially given how popular her niece was. Even Twilight's willful blindness—the exact thing that had got her into this mess—couldn't hide that.

It was hard to repress the basic familial pride she felt at Flurry's social successes. Neither Twilight nor her brother had managed widespread popularity at that age. And there was Flurry, with everycreature at the school, everypony, everydragon, everychangeling and so on, hanging onto every word she said.

It wasn't that Twilight was jealous. When she was that age she hadn't wanted anything to do with other ponies, and now that she did she had plenty of popularity. It still was satisfying to see Flurry manage things she wouldn't have been able to; Twilight wasn't one of those ponies who thought that their descendants (if only indirect) surpassing them was a bad thing. There was also a certain satisfaction in being attracted to the most popular mare in the school, even if she didn't want to admit it.

What Flurry had said... Her regular defiance was bad enough, but those sexual taunts were almost too much for her to handle. Twilight knew exactly what her brain was doing. Her feelings for Flurry were sexual, and so she interpreted Flurry making sexual comments as meaning that she knew about those feelings. That was impossible, of course, but the parts of her brain making that connection didn't have access to that information.

Knowing this did not help in the least. She was still horny for her niece, and that was coming from some even deeper, more animal part of her. And having seeped down into the foundations of her mind, her desire poisoned all her thoughts. As angry as she was she could not help but be sympathetic. Of course she was a very strict headmare with high expectations of her students; rebellion was inevitable. And even in rebellion Flurry was not wasting her intelligence. She had started the meeting with some really quite eloquent rhetoric. But that was obvious. Of course Twilight could only fall for a smart mare.

Twilight was afraid to sleep. When she slept she had dreams. Twilight had never had wet dreams growing up. She did now. And always about Flurry. She tried to take solace in them, to get herself into the mindset that even if she couldn't have the mare in real life than at least in her head things would work out. If everything only happened in her head she wouldn't hurt anypony but herself, and she deserved to be hurt for the things she thought. She wasn't going to punish Flurry. She was the one who needed to be punished.

Twilight tossed and turned. She couldn't tell if she was sleeping or not. Time passed strangely and irregularly, but always slowly. Had she slept at all that night, or only dreamed it?

Finally Twilight forced herself to get up and get a glass of water. It was so much more inconvenient than it needed to be, because half the hallways in the castle were closed for repainting. Not one of the painters, it seemed, knew how to do their job. They kept putting nasty slurs on the walls. Twilight just had them do it over and over again. They might not have had much hope of finishing before the Summer Sun Celebration, but if there was the slightest chance, then by the Sun, Twilight was going to have the town ready before Celestia arrived.

And then Luna arrived early because of course things had to get even more stressful.

"Hi Luna! Sorry but I can't talk right now there's so much to do."

Luna didn't move. "Then let me help: you're dreaming," she said.

Twilight stopped. She looked around as all the chaos faded away. Relief flooded her. "Thanks. So what brings you here, then?"

"You haven't slept well for a few days now. I've gathered that you have some troubles."

So Twilight could blush, even in a dream. That was good to know. "I-I don't know what you're talking about."

"Yes you do," Luna said. "Your dreams are not a good place to hide what you're feeling, or to lie about it." She turned and examined a large mural of Flurry Heart that had been painted on a wall. "The situation is not subtle."

Twilight felt horror and shame in every cell in her body. "Okay, fine. You're right. But I would never do anything to her. I swear."

Luna shrugged. "Do or do not do what you will. I will advise you this: tell her Be honest."

Twilight went pale.

Luna continued. "Unless you think you can hide your feelings forever—and let me remind you that you and her will indeed be together forever—that is the only way to move past this."

Fuck Luna, Twilight thought. Didn't she know what she was asking? Couldn't she see that it wasn't that simple? And yet, she did have a point. Her meeting had been a disaster; things were already untenable.

Twilight groaned. "I don't think I can."

"And I think you will burst if you don't try soon. Your dreams are getting very messy."

Twilight didn't talk for a while. She just lay on the ground, her face in her hooves. Luna sat by her patiently.

"This is going to ruin everything I've worked for," Twilight muttered. "I won't have a single friend left by the end of it."

"I'm not suggesting that you tell everypony. Only Flurry Heart. Nopony else needs to know." Luna wrapped her wing around Twilight. "And I will still be your friend. No matter what."

"How?" Twilight whined, "How could you want anything to do with somepony like me."

Luna grinned mischievously. "I have watched ponies dreams for centuries. It is going to take more than a little bit of incest to shock me. Celestia, too, has been mellowed by experience, you will find. She will not abandon you either."

Twilight felt slightly reassured, even if she couldn't quite believe what Luna was saying.

Luna rose. "I have to move on now. You will be okay, but only if you tell her the truth." Then Luna was gone in a flash of light.

Flurry was glad when Luna showed up in her dream. It wasn't an awful one, but there was a feeling of uneasiness to everything she could see. The slight lurch of the stomach that had accompanied every step evaporated at Luna's presence. She was very glad at the prospect of somepony to talk to.

"I'm feeling that bad, huh?"

Luna didn't say anything. She just stood with an attentive expression and let Flurry talk.

"I messed up today. I've told you before how I sometimes like to get under ponies' hides. I was doing that with Twilight and I went a little too far. She snapped a bit." Flurry sighed. "You're welcome, favorite aunt."

"I did not think you would need much help. You have figured out most of what I would have guided you through. But let me reassure you that it will all be okay. These things happen.

"What you need to do is to go and talk to your aunt Twilight. Apologize, but also spend some time with her. I think that will go a long way toward improving your relationship with her." Luna paused. "I would go in the evening, when all of her and your duties are done, so that there is nothing to distract you."

"Thanks, aunt Luna. Do you really think it will be that easy, though? I mean, no offense, but 'hit her up in the evening and talk about our relationship' sounds almost like a date. You sure about this."

There was a strange twinkle in Luna's eye. "I just came from visiting Twilight's dreams. She is feeling guilty about what has happened between you two as well. It would do you both good."

"If you say so." Flurry supposed that Luna would know, though she didn't say that out loud, or whatever the equivalent in a dream was called. She also couldn't help but feel there was something going on with Luna.

Luna stepped away. "For the best results, reflect on your relationship tomorrow, about what you feel and what Twilight might feel. Pay special attention to the conversation you had tonight." She made to leave.

"Alright, come on," Flurry demanded, "there's something you're not telling me. Just what the hay is going on?"

Luna in a playful mood wasn't a good source of straight answers, though. "Twilight can tell it to you better than I can. I think you will enjoy the discovery very much." She dropped her façade even further and actually winked at Flurry, and then was gone.
