Rarity huffed, she rolled her eyes and felt awful as she saw her fabric in need of sowing, inspiration fluttered through her... oh how many things she could make! Though, this was for her sister.... she'd do anything for her.
" ...Ugh, I do love a bit of casual wear, but honestly... do they mind if I add a little style? Darling, I'm certain they'd love some class down there.. " Rarity smiled a little, her cheeks turning pink with glee at the thought of releasing a new line of clothes..
" Rarity, you'll be fine! " Sweetie Belle reassured, tilting her head with a genuine smile. Rarity couldn't help but return it.. she nodded.. she gradually placed the apron back on herself, and put her beautiful mane in a tight bun.
". . . Okay, okay . . . see you soon, Sweetie! I promise I'll help you get into college . . " Her little sister didn't seem as little anymore, huh?
She headed out, her hoofs padding against the surface. The way there was dirty, and terribly messy. Though, throughout the years she's learned to not mind it. As long as it doesn't stain her fur. Rarity certainly did want to look her best for her first day at work..
As she approached the cafe, her heart swelled. Not with joy of working here, but the very thought of helping out her sister! .. The smile would be worth it.
" ... Miss Belle. " Rarity didn't take notice of being called that, her sister was usually referred to that, even if her last name was Belle. " Ahem! Miss B e l l e . " Rarity's ears perked swiftly, she opened her mouth to say something-- " . . . This way. "
" Oh, uhm-- what am I suppose to be doing? "
" ...What do you think a waitress does, Miss Belle? " The colt muttered, his coat was a dark brown, and his mane was groomed perfectly... must be the manager. Though, she felt stupid, once again she opened her mouth to speak-- " Right, anyway, you just take orders. Simple enough?.. " He said in a passive aggressive tone.

" ..Yes, sir.. " She nodded quickly. Though, as she felt more questions wander into her head, the colt had already left her.

As she started getting orders from tables, and carefully writing down each one... her ears perked at the sound of--
DOOR SLAM.
" . . . !!?? "
" RARITY, RARITY! I heard you got a cool job!! Where do you work?... "
" I-- "
" No, no!! Don't say... uhh, I'll guess... " The pink mare put on her hardest thinking face, amazing how oblivious she can be.
" Pinkie-- "
" Are you... are you a professional trombonist?..A mean scary dentist? OR, OR!!... A PRINCESS! "
Rarity tilted her head, she chose not to question Pinkie, but she couldn't help but ask... " Since when can anyone just apply to be a princess? " Rarity huffed.
" ....Ever since Twilight showed us that writing fancy letters can get you a new pair of wings!.. Being an earth pony is fun and all, but I can't help but think-- "
" Pinkie, I'm working. I'm terribly sorry, darling... but I'm busy. I have work to do. " Pinkie GASPED intensely. Very intensely. Rarity turned her attention back to the tables, taking each order precisely.
" Miss! You forgot my coffee! " A mare called.
" I'll be right over.. " Rarity reassured, making her way over. She put the coffee down, but--
Pinkie ran over and jumped on her. " You're a waitress?! "
The coffee spilled all over Rarity and the customer.
" ... "
" . . . "
" WHAT THE HECK?! " The customer shouted, her mane was dripping wet, and her mascara ran down her face angrily. " It BURNS! "
" Let me help you with that! " Rarity fetched napkins, and came back, but the customer shoved them out of the way. Rarity's heart stopped. " I really didn't mean it.. "
" Uh oh. " That was surprisingly a dead-inside tone coming from Pinkie.
" Rarity! Rarity! " What in Equestria?
A mare ran over, her hair was a bright pink, and she had a silver fur coat . . oh no it couldn't be . . . her ' friend ' from high school. " ...Oh, hello, y o u ... " What was her name?
" ..Rarity, it's so good to see you! I can't believe you're here! .. As a waitress? " The unknown mare tilted her head. " ...Anyway, since we're such gooood friends.. can I borrow fifty bits? "
" Wha-- "
" Thanks! " The unknown mare took the bits from Rarity's purse
and just ran.

" ...... I'm going after her! " Rarity frowned. Though, she got dragged back.
" Miss, can I get a Fleur Raziz' coffee? . . . " The colt and mare that sat there looked up at her.
" ..... " Rarity stared down at the menu tilting her head slightly... " A...what..? Sorry we don't serve that. " The couple automatically turned furious, it was like a switch, a 'no-touchy' switch.
" Yes you do! I got one last week. Customer is always right. " The colt stomped his hoof.
" ... I'm new here, it might've been a special, but we don't serve it anymore. " Rarity re-checked the menu she swore a dozen times, but nothing called whatever that name was. " . . . Uh-- "
" IS THE CUSTOMER NOT ALWAYS RIGHT?! "
" ..No, the customer isn't always right! " Another colt rudely stood. He stuck his hoof out as to 'protest.'
" NO, YOU! " Before Rarity could blink, a food and drink fight broke out. Coffee flew faster than she could think of. It stained her fur, and she was being hit with cups. Donuts and little side dishes were being thrown, other employees quickly hid... leaving her here to deal with it.
" OH, YOU WANNA GO? "
" Y E A H . "
" FIGHT, FIGHT!! " Pinkie shouted from the backround.
" ...Uh, please do not fi-- "
Fighting. INTENSE FIGHTING. Coffee burns, coffee burns.
" AAGGHHH!!! "
" What the heck. "
As coffee flew, so did Rarity, she was being thrown around in a crowd of fighting horses.
" HEEEELLPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! "
No pony knew how it ended, all we knew is that somehow Rarity survived the war.
" How did it go..? " Sweetie smiled.
" Just peachy. "
" ...You look like a mess. What happened? " Sweetie arched a brow.
