SoarinDash Shorts : Wedding

(Soarin POV)

I was sitting in a cloud just thinking how good the years have been since I met Rainbow Dash. I met her in the best young girl's competition a few years ago when she won the competition performing that extraordinary Sonic Rainboom and with her incredible performance. a few years later I got to know her better. First we danced together at the wedding of Princess Cadance and Prince Shining Armor, then she saved me from death in Rainbow Falls when I accidentally injured my wing and was about to go to death but luckily she was there to hold me, and I was very grateful for this. Soon after she helped me make peace with Spitfire and Fleetfoot when they tried to replace me. After we both had a misunderstanding when I and the other Wonderbolts accused her of sending Spitfire away to stay in her place, I really felt awful about it but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. Soon after she became a Wonderbolt permanently and on her first day she fell into a trash can and we all started calling her Rainbow Crash, she got really bad about it and caused several mistakes because of it. But in the end everything worked out again. I also remember telling her about the Russian Mountain which was also very impressive.

And now over the years we've both grown closer not only to headquarters but also to formal. We became great friends until, over time, that friendship became something bigger. Love. When I found out that I was in love with her, it was a big surprise to me and as time went on I decided to tell her that coincidentally she also felt feelings for me, so we became a couple. We became known as "The lovebirds" at headquarters, all Wonderbolts were teasing us and putting nicknames like "SoarinDash" or "ClipperCrash" but until Dash and I did not care until it seemed sweet to us.

And here we are 3 years together. And surely I could not think of anyone better to spend the rest of my life. I wish this would last forever.

That's when a thought came into my mind.

"Wait, if I want to stay with her forever, why do not I marry her, but would she accept? After all, we've only been dating for three years, and I'm sure she's the right mare for me. try, is not it?" I thought still sitting in the cloud.

Then I quickly got up from the cloud and flew up to Cloudsdale to find a perfect ring to propose to Dash.

It was a few minutes of flying until I got to a nearby jewelry store and started looking for the most perfect ring of all.

"Hello, sir, it's very rare to find a Wonderbolt around here, is not it? But what can I do for you today?" The salesman said.

"I'd like a proposal jewel" I said.

"Oh who would say, and who is the lucky mare?" He asked

"The most perfect of all" I said, smiling.

The salesman nodded and pulled out a beautiful sapphire ring from the cupboard.

"Here, I'm sure she'll like to make your mare happy" he said.

"Certainly, thank you sir" I said before flying through the door.

I started flying towards Ponyville to make my proposal.

"I hope she likes it" I thought.

"Soarin? Where are we going?" Dash asked me as I flew with her through the skies.

"It's surprising," I said with a smile.

"Oh, I wonder what it will be," she said.

Soon after, she and I landed in a beautiful yellow field with various sounds of birds singing.

"Oh Soarin, is that what you wanted to show me? Because it's really beautiful!" She said

"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Well, what do you think of us having a snack while we enjoy this beautiful landscape?" I said in a tone
expectation.

"I do not see why not" she said with a smile.

Then we both sat on the yellow grass and I took out an apple from the picnic basket and gave it to her.

"Thank you, Soar," she said.

"You're welcome Dashie" I said.

I got a slice of apple pie and started to eat. After we ate she lay down in front of me leaning against the front hooves and gave me a sweet look. I smiled and decided to follow the same example. I lay down in front of her and began to look into her beautiful magenta eyes and she did the same for my emerald.

She kissed his hull and then put it on my muzzle. I looked at his hull on my snout and smiled. After she removed her hull from my snout she placed it in front of me to interlace with my helmet. I obeyed and touched his hull, we stayed like this for a long time, with the interlaced hulls. Until she suddenly leaned forward, knowing what was to come I quickly leaned forward making our lips touch. We stayed for a long time so I could hear groans coming from her until we finally broke the kiss and put our foreheads on each other.

It was all perfect until finally I took the courage to ask her.

"Ok Soarin is now or never!" I thought

"An Dashie?"

"Yes?"

I took a deep breath and continued.

"Well you know we've known each other for a few years and we've been together for only three years ...... And I think we could make it official" I said.

She raised an eyebrow and said,

"What are you trying to say, Soarin?" She asked a little confused

"Dashie I love you very much, and what I feel for you I've never felt for any other mare, every day we were together were the best of my life and are moments that I wish they would last forever .... What I'm trying to say is ...... Dashie, do you want to marry me? " I asked shyly

Her eyes were wide open of course I knew this maybe could be a slightly rushed time for her and maybe even scary.

Then she quickly opened a huge smile on her face and let some tears escape her eyes.

"Yes ..... Yes Soarin I totally want to marry you!" She said

"Oh Dashie, you do not know how much you make me happy," I said.

"Not you" she said.

Then I took his helmet that I slipped the ring on him, after that we looked into each other's eyes and we leaned for another long and passionate kiss.

After a long time we broke the kiss and put the foreheads on each other again.

"I love you Dashie"

"I love you too"

And we stayed like this, hugging each other for the rest of the afternoon just enjoying each other's company.
