(Rainbow Dash POV)

It had been 2 weeks since Soarin and I got married, and I could say that was the best decision we made. We have been living happily ever since, the days have been great. Ok more or less great. In the last few days I was not feeling very well, yesterday I checked in at Ponyville Hospital and when the doctor gave me the result of what was happening to me, I completely froze, I almost fainted. I was pregnant. Pregnant from my husband's foal.

I did not know what to do, I was very worried about all this. Me and Soarin were not yet ready to have a foal, there would be no one to look after him while we worked. And I was also afraid that Soarin would not like the news and leave me.
I was desperate, now I was lying in my bed just thinking about everything that has been happening, when suddenly the door opened revealing Soarin with a tray full of food.

"Good morning sweetie" he said as he approached me.

"Good morning" I said.

"You did not come down to breakfast, so the way it was brought here for you, in fact it's been a while since you've been eating very well. Dashie, are you okay?" Soarin asked me as he sat beside me on the bed. I just nodded.

"Yes, I'm fine, Soarin. I'm just not hungry" I said as I turned away.

Soarin shook his head, grabbed my hooves and made me look at him again.

"Rainbow sweetie, tell me what's going on, if you're in trouble I can help" he said in a subdued tone.

I bit my lip and looked away.

"I can not ...." I said with tears starting to form in my eyes

"Sweetie you know you can trust me, now let's go without further secrets and tell me what's going on" Soarin said as he held my hooves hard.

I turned around again and said

"I can not tell you ..... If not you're going to leave us ...." I said

"Oh this is ridiculous Dashie I never- Wait? We?" Soarin said confusedly.

I bit my lip and turned around again.

"W-Well ..... I-I ..." I tried to say

"Wait are you .....?" He started

I took a deep breath and said,

"I'm pregnant ..." I said.

Soarin's eyes widened and he pulled away from me a little.

"Wh-what ...?" He said

I nodded and then the room was silent. None of us said anything else. Until Soarin approached me and turned me around so that I would have his back to him, so he began to slowly kiss my neck and went up to my ear.

"You mean I'm going to be a father?" He asked me

"Yes ... You're not mad, are you?" I asked

"Rainbow Dash, that's the best news I've ever had! We'll finally have our own foal running around this house, I would never be angry with such a news, why did not you tell me before?" Soarin said

"I was afraid that you would leave me and .... I feel like I'm not ready to be a mother yet .... And who would take care of the baby while we're at home?" I said still in tears

"Do not worry Dashie, you know I would never leave you, I promised to stay by your side at all times and I will not break that promise. And yes .... I am not fully prepared to be a father, we work together I'm sure there may be hope for this family, and do not worry about who would take care of the baby, I'm sure our parents and our friends can help us with this" Soarin said as he pulled me into a fort hugged and wiped away my tears.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked still uncertain

"Of course, Dashie. Do not worry, I'll be with you every step of the way no matter what" he said as he kissed his lips.

After that kiss I felt a little more confident.

"Okay" I said looking at my belly still not much bigger than normal.

"WHAT!!!" My friends shouted at the same time while Soarin and I were in the castle of friendship to make the big news.

"Ohhh that's just Darling fantastically!" Rarity said taking some tears from her eyes.

"Yes Congratulations Rainbow Dash and Soarin" said Applejack

"Oh Rainbow, I'm so happy for you!" Said Fluttershy

"YAAAAAA I do not believe !!! Now I'm going to have more babies to play !!! Yay! Best day of my life !!!" Said Pinkie Pie jumping from side to side after she ran up to me and gave me a big hug.

"Urgh, Pinkie? I'm running out of air!" I said into her embrace.

She released me and then opened another huge smile.

"Congratulations Rainbow Dash, you and Soarin deserve all the best!" Twilight said as she leaned in and gave me a hug.

"Thank you Twilight, thank you girls" I said.

At Wonderbolt headquarters ...

"But this is incredible! Congratulations to you both!" Spitfire said hugging Soarin and me.

"Thank you Spitty," Soarin said.

"Yay, now Soarin's going to be a daddy!" Said Fleetfoot

"Yes, they are married for only two weeks and are already having their first foal!" Said Misty Fly

Me and Soarin just smiled

"So, are we going to tell your parents now?" Soarin asked me as we flew in the skies of Ponyville.

"Well if you want?" I said

Soarin nodded.

Suddenly we heard a scream coming from the floor.

"Hi Rainbow Dash!"

Soarin and I got closer to the ground and found Scootaloo with her friends.

"Hi Scoots, Hi girls!" I said

"Is it true that you and Soarin are having a baby?" Asked Sweetie Belle

"Is it a foal or a filly?" Asked Apple Bloom

"When will your belly start to grow?" Asked Scootaloo

"Whoa calm girls, one question at a time!" I said

"Well yes, Rainbow Dash and I are having a baby. We still do not know if it's a foal or a filly, and maybe her belly grows in 3 months" Soarin said with a wink at the end

"Ohhh Rainbow Dash Congratulations! You have no idea how happy I am for you!" Scootaloo said

I smiled and then I approached her and messed up her mane.

"Thank you Scoots" I said.

"But then, does it mean I'm going to be aunt ?! Yay!"

In Rainbow Dash's parenting house ...

"Hello Dashie! Hello Soarin! Please come in and I'm free!" My mother told Windy Whistles as she led Soarin and I into the living room.

"Thank you, Mrs. Whistles," said Soarin.

"Mom, where's daddy? Soarin and I need to tell you both" I said.

"Oh yeah, wait just a second I'll call you" she said as she flew toward a room in the house.

After a few minutes she came back with my dad Bow Hothoof.

"Your mother told me that you had something to tell us, so tell us before you kill us with curiosity" he said with a smile.

Soarin and I looked at each other and he held my hoof firmly before we faced my parents again.

"We're having a baby!" We said at the same time

"Ohhh, that's incredible, honey! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! I do not believe in eleven months I'm going to be a grandmother, yay!" My mother said as she approached Soarin and I hugged her tightly.

"Yes, this is simply incredible, oh Rainbow my dear we are so proud of you, first you marry a great stallion and now you will be a mother soon!" My dad said taking some tears from his eyes.

"Thank you Daddy" I said.
