A long time ago in oblivion there was a daedric prince named Sheogorath.Sheogorath was the prince of madness and was the ruler of the shivering isles. Sheogorath was once Jyggalag,the daedric prince of order and ruled his realm in perfect order but the other princes cursed him to live as Sheogorath.Once a the end of each era or 1,000 years, there was an event known as the grey march where Jyggalag was allowed his true form to destroy the shivering isles but after he did this,the curse was renewed, turning him back into Sheogorath.Sheogorath takes a mortal champion to be the next Mad god.
"HASKILL" sheogorath yelled.
"Yes,my lord" Haskill replied walking into the throne room.
"I am bored of ruling, so i am going to retire" Sheogorath said answering his chamberlain' s question.
"Who will sit on the throne then my lord".
"I don't know yet but i know it can't be anyone from the mortal realm or this realm".
"But you".
"WAIT,I know,i will visit another dimension" Sheogorath said interrupting Haskill.
"I will be back Haskill with a new mad god" Sheogorath laughed as he teleported away.
In equestria,Spike had just received a letter from princess celestia
"Spike,what does the letter say" asked Twilight.
"It says she wants all the bearers of the elements of harmony to come to canterlot immediately" he replied.
"Okay,be back later" she replied.
"Why didn't the princess invite me,I mean it's probably Discord again causing trouble.
Before he could react,a strange looking creature showed up smirking at him.
"Hello Spike" it said while laughing in an accent.
"How do you know my name" Spike asked scared.
"I am omnipotent" he laughed again.
"what do you want" Spike asked the strange being.
"Your wondering why the princess didn't invite you, well that's because they are relaxing with the princess without you" it said
"Your lying"Spike shouted.
Without reacting,the being snapped his fingers and they were teleported through space and landed at the location of the mane 6 and the princess,Spike's world came crumbling before him,the being had not lied
"See,they didn't even bother to invite you,they don't care for you,there just using you to get what they want"
Spike,in a fit of sadness,broke down and cried on the floor
"What do you want"Spike asked still crying
"I am here to offer you something greater than your life now"
"What's that"
"You see,I am a god ruling over my own realm but after doing this for longer than you imagine,i decided to retire and name a new mad god of my realm and that's where you come in".
"So you want me to rule your realm,but i'm not a god or i don't have any experience ruling a realm" Spike said
The being laughed and said"you will become a god and you will have power,my power and try not to lose it,It's a pain to replace" he said angerly and the end.
"What are the benefits".
"you can summon any of the golden saints or dark seducers to accompany you,they will defend to the death and you can also do anything in your realm with godlike powers".
"So,will you become something greater than you can imagine or will you stay here and continue to be a pet".
Before he could answer,the mane 6 and princess finally saw Spike with the strange being.
"Spike why are you here"asked princess Celestia .
"I don't know,why didn't you invite me here".
"What are you talking about"she asked with a stern expression.
"You invited them here but not me,am i nothing but a pet to you guys"he asked with a sad expression.
"No,of course not,your our friend and like family to us"Twilight shouted.
"Liar"He hissed.
"You know,i'm glad he's here"
"Why" they all asked at once
After explaining why he was here,they all had angry expressions at the being.
"How dare you corrupt Spike like that"Celestia yelled.
"Corrupt,i'm saving him from you"he yelled back at them.
"I'll do it" Spike said finally.
"NO"the mane 6 shouted.
"You shouldn't of used me"he said sadly,rage in his eyes
The being gave Spike his staff and transferred his powers into Spike and then they both teleported to the shivering isles.Once they arrived in the throne room,Haskill walked to his lord.
"Welcome back lord" Haskill said.
"Oh Haskill,you know i'm not the god of this realm anymore. Sheogorath chuckled.
"Right" Haskill said sarcastically
"Haskill,this is your new lord Spike"Sheogorath said playfully
"Hello my lord"Haskill greeted with a hand shake.
"Well,this is goodbye Haskill,thank you for all your help and service Sheogorath said leaving but right before he left,he looked at Spike and said
"Good Luck"
"Now that he is gone,we can get to it my lord" Haskill said sadly
"What should i do first"Spike asked nervously
"First you should sit on the throne and adjust it to your size" Haskill said encouragingly
After he sat on the throne,two guards came in and greeted him but one was from Mania and the other from Dementia.
They stood at both sides of his throne while his chamberlain handed him paperwork to do and that's when he knew he would have a very successful reign.
For that is the story of Spike, Prince of Madness.
A century has passed since Spike left equestria,everyone was heartbroken and deemed Spike a traitor for joining a god.
In the Shivering isles
"Haskill" the prince of madness said
"Yes,what is it you require" Haskill said
"Send for a dancer,I'm bored" Spike replied
"Right away my lord" Haskill replied
A dancer entered the throne room and started dancing for the Madgod's entertainment.
Nine centuries later,Spike had grown to be 1,018 years old.Then a guard entered and knelt before the Madgod and told him the greymarch is coming,so Spike had every civilian secured to fight Jyggalag and Spike won and saved his realm from the forces of order and went back to ruling his realm for many millennia and eventually went back to equestria to find the mane 6 and the princess to forgive them for abandoning him.
