Author's Note
This took a while. I rushed it a little but I wanted to submit it. I will edit here and there to get it better. 
If Nightmare Moon won
Nightmare moon looked down at the six mares cowering in fear. Never had she felt more accomplished and proud of herself. She couldn't help but laugh at how the yellow one was crying hysterically and shaking like an electric toothbrush! Of course she didn't know what that was but still found the act amusing.
"Oh, poor, poor Twilight!" The bitter alicorn cooed. "You really made a fool of yourself! Look at these ponies around you. They are wrong to befriend you, you just make them weak. You are pathetic! Look at me! I shattered the elements of harmony right before you and you just sat there doing nothing! Honestly that is just too easy! It's almost as if you want me to take over!"
The violet unicorn sat up to look at Nightmare Moon, though she barely could for a river of tears flowed through her eyes making everything blurry. "Where is she?" She whimpered between sobs. "Please! Where is she?" There was silence.
Nightmare moon looked at her face and saw the pain. It almost put her down, but still! This is Nightmare Moon, she can handle anything! And the feelings of ponies meant nothing to her. Nightmare Moon stomped at her making the mare jump back and let out a yelp. The wicked mare chuckled and then spoke, "Do you really think I would harm her?"
"Um..Y-yes.."
" You foolish filly! I wouldn't touch her! After all, how can you see the world you love so much disappear if you're dead? "
"Um.."
" Got nothing to say? Oh too bad! Because that was going to be your few final words! "
In a quick flash, Nightmare Moon zapped a ray of dark magic toward Twilight Sparkle. the magic warped around her body and all at once, disappeared. A small frightened unicorn image was now plastered on the moon for all to see.The floor where the pony stood was vacant and Twilight was nowhere to be found.
At this point the rainbow maned pegasus who was watching from behind could help herself anymore and lunged herself at Nightmare Moon, only to miss and headbutt the stone wall. She instantly passed out on impact. The remaining four mares instantly ran to her aid.
Fluttershy, the yellow pegasus (who was crying earlier) glared at Nightmare Moon. Despite the tears in her eyes and the pain in her heart she managed a glare that even slightly shook Nightmare Moon. The way she sternly stared into her soul was frightening in a strange way. But of course, she was Nightmare Moon, nothing shook Nightmare Moon. Nothing.
"Are you okay? What in Equestria is wrong with your face?"
" SHUT UP! " the Pegasus yelled. Wow. Even Nightmare moon didn't see that coming. Nor did the others. They all stared at her in disbelief. After recovering from the shock, Nightmare Moon gathered herself (again) . Wow these ponies are actually brave!
"How dare you!" Nightmare Moon exclaimed. "How dare you disrespect your princess!"
"You are not a princess! You are a monster! How dare you kill Twilight! She was a good pony with a great future, but then you show up! You, you, Nightmare!"
Nightmare Moon almost lost a tear but quickly hid it. Nightmare, that was the name her sister called her before she banished her. That was the last word she heard from her. How she missed her. But it was too late now.
"I didn't kill her, I just banished her to the moon for 1,000 years. It's fine though, she can't age or do anything in the moon. She can only wait and feel the pain. The horrible, unbearable pain. She won't ever see your faces again!"
By now, Rainbow Dash had gained Consciousness and sat up. Her head still hurt and she was extremely dizzy. "Where...is..Mightnare Noon? Where is Wilight ?"
" Ugh! THAT'S IT" Nightmare moon raised her head and one by one zapped each pony, the same as she had done before. They all vanished in a flash and then the room was silent. Now at this moment you would think she would be laughing her armor off and have some fun.
She knew that there was nothing standing in her way anymore and she was free to do as she pleased, but she didn't. She just sat there, thinking. She was finally alone. She thought about the things that pegasus said. A tear fell, a real tear. A tear of regret. As the clouds drifted over the moon with the new picture of the mane six on it's face, she watched the tear fall slowly and land on the metal shoe that fit on her left hoof.
The room was silent. The only sound she heard was the echo of the drip fall onto her boot. She cried and let out more tears. Soon, her vision was blurry and her eyes were sore. She didn't know how long she was there, minutes, hours, days. She kept crying. The time seemed to stop. She looked out the window, this was the usual time she would watch the majesty of the sunrise. The perfect moment that shared beauty of both sun and moon, the think that she would never see again.
Then it clicked. She remembered her sister's arguments.
"You are loved sister! I know that it seems as if Equestria only bows to me but I bow to you. I know you are important, that is all that matters."
"Oh sister.." The desperate mare wept. "Why was I a fool? Why did I become so selfish that I ignored you? I-I'm sorry!"
Then, As if the universe answered her cries and pleas, A light shone in the distance. A trail of light rushed in and circled the night sky. It make circles upon circles. Then as a finish made a spiral around the moon. and then the sun arose in front of the moon as the moon set at the same time. The trail of light rushed into the window that Nightmare moon was watching this from and then slowly, the light formed into an alicorn with a white coat and a flowing mane.
"I was wondering how long it would take for you to realize that." Princess Celestia said. "If you are willing to reform, I will help you. Nopony will judge you of your past. I will make sure of that."
As she held out her hoof, Nightmare Moon thought whether or not to accept it. It didn't take long to decide though and she held out her hoof too and stood up.
"Come along, Princess Luna. You have missed so much."
And nopony ever heard of Twilight and her friends again. (Or for the next 1000 years.)
Princess Celestia looked out at Ponyville. The view of the quaint little village from her cliffside castle could only be described as breathtaking. She watched as her sister, Luna glided across the night sky towards her sister, then land on the balcony beside her.
Luna's appearance was gloomy. After her return, she was quite taller, her eyes were cat like and she has pale blue Armour.
Even though there wasn't a need for Armour, she chose to wear it anyways. She felt too bare without it and after the major attacks that happened almost a millennia ago, Luna felt that is was just simply cautious.
"Greetings, sister, how was your sleep?" Luna asked. Celestia yawned long and loud. She stretched her hoof out and slightly arched her back.
"Wouldn't you know?" She asked. Glaring at her sister.
"Oh, right, the nightmare.."
Celestia and Luna shared a concerned look.
"Luna, I can't help but think that all these threats are going to someday come back at us. Tartarus can hold them, but how long?"
Luna put her pitch-black hoof on her elder sister's. "It'll be okay, sister. We have had Tirek, Discord, Sombra, and Cadance all trapped in Tatarus for almost a thousand years! They won't escape."
Celestia let out a sigh. "I know. But somehow I feel that this'll be our undoing.."
Luna yawned. "I'm sure that we'll be fine, Tia. Now, it's time for me to turn in."
As Luna headed into the castle, A bright light shone from Celestia's horn and she began to raise the sun. The light was unbearable at first, even for her. Then when her eyes adjusted, she glanced over. Her sun wasn't the only thing in the sky.
"Ugh, typical Luna. she forgot to lower the moon! No worries. I'll just do it myself."
Her horn glowed once more but sparks flew out like a firework. Sweat beads appeared on her face.
"LUNA!" She Yelled to her sister. "Your moon is stuck!!!"
Luna didn't respond. Probably because she was already asleep. All of a sudden The moon glowed. It glowed brighter and brighter until it shone brighter than the sun. Then in a flash, six mares appeared on the doorstep.
"Ugh... groaned one blue pegasus with a rainbow mane. "You would think that after 1000 years a headache would go away!"
An orange mare with apples for a cutie mark looked up. "Y'all! Look!"
Celestia watched as the six mare looked up and stared back at her. "Who are you?" she managed to say. A purple unicorn with a blue mane walked towards her. Celestia took a second to register the identification of the mare but then it hit her.
"P-Princess Celestia?" asked the mare.
At this point Celestia couldn't holdback tears. "Twilight?" She asked. The mare nodded. Celestia ran to her and wrapped her in a hug.
Suddenly She felt pain in her chest. For a few seconds she thought it was heartbreak or joy or a strange combination of the two. Then she realized it was a freaking stab wound. She screamed in pain and fear. Twilight's horn was red with blood and a burning passion for murder filled her eyes.
"Twilight What are you doing?!" She cried. The other five mares watched in astonishment. The pink earth pony's big bright curly mane seemed to deflate like an old birthday party balloon and fell straight against her side. A devious grin appeared on her face.
"You Bitch!" Twilight Screamed as she started stomping on Celestia 's neck. "For a thousand years I was waiting for your rescue! I thought you would at least kill nightmare moon! But noooooo! You had to just forget about me! What the actual BUCK!?"
Celestia started choking on her own blood. The white unicorn with a purple mane known as Rarity stayed far on the other end of the balcony. It wasn't that she didn't want to kill Celestia, but a white coat and blood don't mix quite well.
"You actually didn't even question where I WENT?!" I saw you! You just forgot! You moved on! Well, listen here, Celestia! I didn't! I didn't because I couldn't do anything else but watch!" She used her horn to teleport them all to the middle of nowhere where the only thing around them was a guillotine.
Celestia's eyes widened in fear. She tried to scream for help but the blood drowned her calls. Twilight used her magic and positioned Celestia just right. The sun and moon were still both in the sky. and so the sky was a weird mixture of dark purples and light blues.
Twilight looked over to her friends Whom she bonded with on the moon. "Eeny..meeny..miny..mo... FLUTTERSHY!
The wimpy yellow Pegasus jumped and squealed EEP!
Twilight teleported her to the lever which trigger the blade to drop. "When I tell you to, pull the lever."
Fluttershy, whimpered. "But what if the blade cuts me!"
Twilight groaned. "Then I'll heal you!!"
Fluttershy gulped and nodded. She looked at Twilight with fear but then, seeing Celestia's face, grinned menacingly.
Twilight locked her into place and stepped back. After watching Celestia squirm for a bit. She nodded to Fluttershy.
The yellow mare let out a loud, evil, insane, laugh. And pulled the wooden lever. The Sun reflected off the blade dropping and blinded the mares, temporarily.
As they all shielded their eyes They heard a very gruesome Flop. Twilight looked up. The princess of the sun was now a fresh corpse. The smell of blood made them all grin. The pink one raised her hoof.
"OOH! OOH! Can I PLEEEASE use her meat for cupcakes??! It'll be SOOOOOOO good!!!"
Rarity chimed in "I could use some new fabrics.."
Twilight Laughed as she was granted a pair of purple wings. "You can keep the body. I'll keep the head as my trophy. Now, dear friends. Bow before me! I am your new leader! Twlight Sparkle! The princess of MURDER!"
The next day, Luna had gotten word that her sister had gone missing. After a few days she was proclaimed dead. But they never did search for her anyway. I mean, who would wanna see her?! Twilight sent Luna to the moon again and took over Equestria, ruling with an iron hoof. A year later, she freed the prisoners of Tartarus, and Discord, the spirit of Chaos, married Fluttershy and she was crowned the mistress of insanity. The land was devided among the villans and was separated into states. With Twilight Overseeing it all. And That is the story of the USE! The united states of Equestria!
