● In Deep Space
With Original 27th Doctor Regeneration, Namekian (Piccolo's race from Dragon Ball Z)
An older green gentleman, with bold / amphibian like skin and antenea, looked out his TARDIS doors. His scrawny body was dressed in a red velvet suit with a purple dress shirt covered in ruffles. Over all he looked very Christmassy despite it being the middle of June, at least in this timezone. He smiled as the empty void of space his TARDIS floated in burned in bright golden flames. "Guess I'll need to get used to how this place feels now," he spoke out loud as the fire died and space returned to normal.
"Doesn't anyone care how I feel!?"
The Doctor turned to see the most overdramatic creature in the cosmos, a 12 year old boy. The child had a snow white exoskeleton with a purple bump on each of his shoulders, chest, and bold head. Frieza somehow stormed out of the console well slouching.
The Doctor, as who else could this green man be, smiled at the display. The tween years were probably the most confusing time for any child. The clever ones were just starting to form their own opinions well being so ready to be seen as adults when they weren't even looked at as teenagers yet. Giving a content sigh, The Doctor closed the doors and followed after the boy.
"How is the training going?" The Doctor smiled at the child as he walked into the kitchen. The boy was already sitting at the table. Pouring himself a bowl of cereal.
"Annoying," Frieza grumbled. "This is a lot harder then I thought it be," He complained as he ate his own cereal. The Doctor could make him a lush breakfast of bacon and French toast but the boy preferred his Lucky Charms. The child shoved in a spoon full well asking. "Why can't I do anything fun in this form!?"
"It's been explained to you." The Doctor smiled. "And don't talk with your mouth full."
The boy quickly swallowed. "Sorry... but this training is so stupid. I'm tired all the time and I'm not even doing anything!" The boy suddenly wailed. "Can't you talk to dad?"
The Namekian Doctor laughed. "You think he'll listen to me? F.T. is near unmovable when it comes to your training."
"YEAH! But normally we do fun stuff! LIKE SPARRING AND PRACTICING KI BLASTS!!! Right now I'm just kinda walking around in my final form. Is really easy but I feel drained all the time so dad won't let me do any proper training! Is totally unfair!" The little boy wailed.
The Doctor opened his mouth to comment but a new man entered the kitchen.
The young man rested a hand on the boy's head, rubbing the exoskeleton as if it was hair in need of ruffling, "I know it's hard." The young man had a purple bowl cut of his own so there were worse things then being part of a race without hair Frieza supposed. "But the longer you hold onto your final form the easier it will be to use and the longer you can use it. You'll also have more control and be more aware of your strength."
Frieza just pouted. "I keep breaking things."
The Doctor shrugged. "Just gives me more things to fix. You know how much I love tinkering." He winked at the child, getting a grin.
"You're the one who said you wanted to be able to walk around in your ultimate form all the time," the young father reminded, "I know the training for it isn't exciting but this is how you do it. Though what is wrong with your base form I can't figure."
"WHAT KINDA SELF RESPECTING BOY WOULD WANT TO RUN AROUND ALL PINK ALL THE TIME!!!" The boy shrieked. His prepubescent voice hitting a pitch that hurt dogs' ears.
"Use your inside voice," The Doctor lightly scolded and Frieza immediately adjusted the volume. "Is this about those Klingon kids that were teasing you?"
Frieza shifted in his seat. "... no..." The boy sounded unconvincing.
"You are very handsome, no matter what form you're in," F.T. assured.
The boy just shrugged, looking all mopey.
"Tell you what." F.T. looked concerned. "We can spend some time training later today if you spend the next few hours appreciating your base form."
Frieza suddenly shifted back to his original form not a millisecond later. He now had cotton candy pink skin with occasional patches of white and purple exoskeleton. He even grew horns for his base form, on his much clunker head that looked like a naturally occurring helmet. "Thanks, dad." The boy bounced up from the table and ran off, nearly tripping on the legs of his pajamas.
Trunks blinked, before looking at the Doctor. "I think we've been had."
The Doctor smiled. "He does have a way of manipulating us doesn't he."
Trunks suddenly looked worried and the Doctor immediately responded by slapping him upside the head, "You seriously need to stop looking for 'evil' traits in the boy. All children are demons that try to manipulate their parents. He is a perfectly normal child but if you keep freaking out whenever he does something bad he will live down to your expectations. Just as any child would."
The young man sighed, "I know. Is just easier said then done."
"RELAX, F.T. we've done a good job with that boy."
"Please stop calling me that," asked F.T.
"Alright but it is a bit of a mouthful to call you ' Future Trunks' all the time."
"My name isn't Future."
"Bit inaccurate to but 'From an Alternate Reality that no longer exist, Trunks' is even worse to say in passing conversations."
"You could always just call me 'Trunks,' as that's my name."
"We have had this talk before." The Doctor smirked. "Technically this dimension already has a Trunks of it's own. You're a time abnormality that shouldn't exist but does, because of your amateur time travel exploits. Most embarrassing, that, and what kind of friend would I be if I didn't mock you for your mistakes every other day."
"A better one." Future Trunks frowned with his mouth, yet his eyes smiled.
A few hours later, The Doctor was walking past the boy's room... and caught a strange sight.
The boy was standing in front of a long mirror, frowning and poking at his pink arm. He was standing in nothing but his Pokemon underpants with his shorts and tshirt on the bed.
The boy blushed purple as he looked over at the Doctor. The hesitantly looked back at the mirror. "Why do I have to be pink?" The boy frowned as he poked his skin again. "People keep mistaking me for a girl!"
"That shrill voice doesn't help." The Doctor smiled and came into the room, sitting on the bed so Frieza could see him in the mirror.
"GEEZ THANKS!" The boy rolled his eyes then looked back at himself, not at all happy with what he saw.
"There is nothing wrong with the way you look. Pink is a common skin color for your species."
"SO IS PURPLE!!!" Frieza sneered at the Doctor's reflection. "Why can't I be purple! Pink is just the WORST color!"
The Doctor shook his head. "You don't need to be so worried about being girly. That isn't even accurate. Boys and girls aren't really all that different for most species. Some are tough and sporty, where others are gentle and nerdy, and everything in between. Gender has really nothing to do with it. It is more cultural norms that cause the differences, and those are imposed purely by people thinking how people should be. You shouldn't be so concerned about what others demand of you. You are beautiful, don't be ashamed of it, own it. Be confident in yourself and most people will respect you for it."
Frieza sighed. "I get it."
"No you don't." The Doctor shook his head. "I have yet to meet a 12 year old that has the slightest bit of confidence in who they are. You're just beginning to figure that out. Your father wants you to be a great warrior and merciful king. I would like it if you lived the life of a scholar. It is entirely your decision who you will be, and you don't have to live up to either of our expectations. You could become a stay at home dad, a janitor, a dojo master... A man completely anonymous to history but still just as important as a king. Kings mean nothing without the little people they protect. All that matters, is in the end, that your happy. That you grow up into someone who is kind, and doesn't care they are pink. All you have to do is learn to be happy with yourself, and your father and I will be proud of whoever you growup into."
Frieza smiled. "You always give the cheesiest speeches." The boy shook his head.
"I'm an old man." The Doctor smiled. "It's my prerogative."
"Thanks, Grampa... but I still don't want to be pink." The boy's body began to shift, twisting into an assortment of different forms until turning back into his last. His snow white form with purple patches. Because of this 'Annoying' training it was much easier to ascend through his various transforms. He was a shapeshifter by nature, although he only had a few preordained transformations to his biology. "Once I get used to being in this form all the time I won't ever have to go back."
"Indeed." The Doctor nodded. "I probably understand better then others about what it is like to change your face. Although my weirdness seems limited compared to yours. This form is still you, but your base form is the face you were born with. It makes up the core of who you are. The stronger it gets, the stronger your ultimate form is. If you stay in this form all the time you won't advance nearly as quickly."
"Not everything is about power." Frieza shrugged.
"Good lad." The Doctor smiled. "I just wish such a mature sentiment wasn't forged through insecurity. Pink is cool. Don't let anyone tell you different."
"Purple is cooler," the boy snarked. Always wanting to get the last word in, so the Doctor let him.
● Planet Z'Kia
With the 10th Doctor
Goku wake up the next morning and was puzzled at the sound of laughter that filled his small house.
He stepped out of his bed and gingery walked to the edge of his doorway, spying that Doctor from yesterday just sitting at his table, enjoying a cup of tea well... children? There were 3 tiny babies sitting on the floor, cooing and giggling at each other. A teenage boy was floating over the table, reading a comic book.
Things progressed from there.
Every morning the man would return and bring with him food and toys. Even movies and TV shows. Mostly documentaries and educational stuff like "The Magic School Bus", "Sesame Street", " Bill Nye the Science Guy", and other such things.
Soon after he started coming regularly, the Doctor did some kind of medical procedure on Goku. "To keep the monster at bay". Now Goku looked like the other boys, with wings and all. Ever since Goku was able to look at the moon without attracting the monsters attention.
Each time the man came back the babies looked bigger. Until one day, a month after Grampa died. The babies were walking and talking. They looked like they had aged a year in the course of a night!!!!
"How come the babies can talk now?" Goku titled his head at The Doctor, "I thought Bill Nye said it would take longer."
But the Doctor brushed it off. "We were gone a little longer then expected is all."
Goku titled his head to the other side. "But you were just here yesterday?" The little boy puzzled.
"Don't worry about it." The Doctor waved it off. "I'll explain when you are ready to come with us."
Goku scowled and stormed off at that point.
The babies continued to get bigger at an alarming rate. Within a year they were as big as Goku!!! Naruto even said he and Spike were 4 years old but that was impossible!!! That's how old Goku was when he met them!!! Harry was even his age now!!
"You guys need to tell me the truth," Goku warned, "How come you grew up so much and I didn't?"
"We aren't supposed to say," Spike informed.
Goku crossed his arms and glared at them. Getting an adorable pout on his face. Well, adorable to adults, to his fellow toddlers it looked quite stern. "Are we brothers or not?" He glared at them.
Spike shared a look with Harry.
"Of course we are," Harry insisted, "It's just complicated and we aren't sure if you'll believe us."
"Believe what?" Goku demanded.
"That we're time traveling aliens from outter space," Naruto blurted out, rather indifferently as he read one of Danny's comics.
Goku awed at them. "Really? Does that mean I'M an alien!!!" Little boy, filled with innocence, that he was didn't have that hard a time imagining that aliens were real.
Harry sighed. "Pretty much, Daddy doesn't want us talking about it though."
Goku blinked. "Why not?"
Spike answered, "Daddy wants to wait until you're ready to travel with us. He doesn't want to make you leave before you're ready."
Goku pouted. "I wanna see it."
Harry and Spike shared another look well Naruto asked, "See what?"
"Your time machine!" Goku insisted.
Now all the boys shared a look.
"Come on," Goku begged, "Just a peek."
The boys looked over at the adults and Danny sitting by the table... Danny didn't look any different then he used to and neither did the Doctor... but Donna was starting to get grey hairs, just the occasional odd one but the were popping up with more frequency.... weird that she looked so young when Goku met her. She was aging even faster then the kids somehow. It looked like she aged 10 years in one.
"Danny." The Doctor looked over at the eternal teenager. He said, "Mind showing keeping an eye on the boys as they show Goku the TARDIS," as if he heard the children whispering from all the way over there.
The ghost child chuckled and hopped into the air. He quickly shifted into his ghost form, as he hadn't learned how to use his powers outside it. Now..
He looked very different then the first time Goku saw him. The boy's legs fused into a ghostly tail. His hair turned to white flames. His skin was even more pale, with a touch of a blue tinge. His ears were more pointed and he had... fangs... he looked more like a ghost then when Goku first meet him. He was still a scrawny thing though, no muscle and short for a 14 year old. At least his eyes were the same bright glowing green... even if it did look like he was wearing eyeliner and eyeshadow. He now wore a black jumpsuit with white trim, a white belt, black gloves, white boots and his logo on his chest of a D spliced with a P. He also had on white cape with a black inside.
He flew next to the toddlers and landed beside them. His tail turned back into legs.
"Come along, Time Tots." Danny smiled as he snapped his fingers.
The entire group of them disappeared and then reappeared in the forest. In front of a blue phone booth, like the ones from the cartoons the Doctor showed him. The only difference was the words "Police Box" were written on the top of it.
"I love this part." Danny smiled as he took out a key on a retracting chain attached to his pant loop.
The other boys giggled as Danny opened up the doors... and revealed a whole other world inside.
An infinite reality contained inside a box. The first room was some kind of control center. The bridge of the space ship. Goku awed as he stepped inside. The room was mostly brown and gold, with round things on the walls.
Goku walked like a zombie up to the controls. Goku suddenly gasped as he felt something in his head. He didn't hear words, more a feelings that weren't his. Along with... an instruction manual. The... TARDIS, that was her name, she just taught him everything he would need to know on how to fly her. Looking up Goku saw the other boys, even Danny, grinning like a loon.
"She does that." Danny shrugged.
Goku... grinned back, before bouncing on the controls. "Where should we go!?" he eagerly bounced.
Danny instantly frowned. "Nowhere. We are just giving you a tour of our home."
"Oh come on Danny," Spike whined, "Daddy won't mind, we could just-"
"There is a reason Grampa didn't want you to tell Goku about the TARDIS." Danny glared. "He is still grieving and needs time to figure himself out before we can talk him on anywhere. It might have been years for us but it hadn't even been a few months for him! It's not right to take him from this place before he is ready."
Goku frowned. "But-" he tried again.
"No!" Danny was adamant. "Trust me, this place can mess you up if you aren't ready for it."
"It's been over a year since Grandpa died," Goku tried to explain, "Yeah I miss him but I've had plenty of time to grieve... I'm ready to go."
Danny looked doubtful. "Sure you aren't just saying that because you think you're supposed to. Plus the breadth of all of time and space can be kinda overwhelming."
"Can we at least take him to meet Twilight?" Spike begged, "Nothing bad ever happens in Equestria."
Goku blinked. "Twilight?"
Naruto grinned. "She's our foalsitter. We stay with here every day from her perspective and once a week from ours. The Doctor only really takes us between the places he knows are safe but takes Danny adventuring on the weekends. We spend the week on Elemental Prime, That's my planet."
Spike shrugged, "Daddy keeps dropping us off with Twilight when he takes Danny and Auntie Donna on adventures. She takes us to class with her and we help here with her studies. Is lots of fun!"
"Well that part not so much," Naruto snarked, "But Twilight plays let's us help her practice her magic to. Which is pretty cool."
Harry nodded. "Twilight's parents are mega important archeologist. They go into ruins and recover lost magical artifacts and fight monsters. They work directly for the ruler of the planet. So, Twily knows what it's like having parents that are always running off on adventures without us. Is cool having her to talk to... I'm sure Daddy won't mind if we go see Twily."
"Why don't we ask him?" Danny floated back out the TARDIS doors.
Naruto and Harry shared a look... then slammed the door shut. All four boys danced around the controls, frankly pushing buttons well they hear banging on the door.
"COME OUT OF THERE!!!" Danny demanded, banging and kicking. He quickly stopped trying to phase through the door, as he realized the TARDIS wasn't letting him, and reached for his key... just as the TARDIS disappeared. "Shit."
● London 16th Century
Queen Elizabeth did her best not to groan in boredom as the nobles blathered on about nothing important. They were demanding more money for their own pockets and less for the poor, the usual. One dare criticize her for executing a murderer, as his victim was a magical and so they believed the crime should be overlooked
"Strange you feel so confident in your position you would think to make such comments in my throne room." Elizabeth smiled at the young man. Her eyes turned to an older gentleman, the proper lord of their estate. "If you would like your son to keep his head you will make it clear to to hold his tongue well in my presence."
Before the old man could sputter a plea for forgiveness, a strange wind swirled about the throne room. Parchment and quills flew away from the scribes. The entire hall immediately fell silent as a strange box appeares before them... a box Elizabeth recognized.
"It can't be," she whispered as she stood from her throne. She looked to the lords as the box faded out and in again. "Our session is called early today. The nobles will return to their chambers." Many didn't need telling twice, fleeing well they could. Well others lingered. The guards went for their swords but Elizabeth held her hand for them to wait. Finally the box became fully solid. The Queen lifted her dress and quickly hurried over, "Doctor?" She as the doors opened...
But it wasn't the Doctor that tumbled out. A pile of children fell to the floor and started squirming on top of each other as they all tried to stand. The most bizarre children she had ever seen. There eyes were 3 times the size of an ordinary human well their backs had large reptilian wings sticking out. They even had strangely colored monkey tails that matched their hair and had reptilian spines on them. The hair on the tops of their heads were spiky, almost quill like.
One child had yellow hair. Not blonde, but a yellow so bright it could only be found in flowers. Well another had green quills. The other two boys had black hair, with even their eyes being unusual colors. One had green eyes, which were rarely found in this country. While the other had black.
The green haired boy blinked at her. "You're not Twily." The other boys pushed him off them.
Elizabeth stared a moment but hardly missed a beat. "And you are not the Doctor."
"That's our daddy," said the 'Blonde' as all the boys finally stood.
"Father to all of you?" Elizabeth blinked as she signaled the guards to remove the nobles who still lingered.
"We're sorta adopted," answered the green haired boy.
The green eyed child looked at the TARDIS. "Daddy wasn't joking. You really do just through time traveler across the cosmos on a whim, Bad Sexy!" The little boy whacked the side of the TARDIS and the doors immediately snapped shut.
The boys gaped and all of then tried prying them open. The doors turned intangible and the boys fell through as their temple disappeared.
"COME BACK TARDIS!!!" The green eyed child yelled, "I DIDN'T MEAN IT!!!"
"Way to go, Harry!" The blonde shoved him and shoving match devolved into a wrestling match.
The green haired boy rolled his eyes as he looked at monkey tail. "The TARDIS relocates when threatened. It was some weird feature Daddy turned on recently. Don't worry. She'll probably go back to Daddy and they will use the last coordinates to come back for us."
The boys stopped wrestling and all 4 stood on the spot, looking at where the temple was... "How long does it take for a time machine to return?" Monkey tail tried after a few moments.
"A few seconds," Green eyes supplied.
The blonde groaned. "Great! Daddy is running late again. Remember, sometimes we comes back to Elemental Prime days after we are supposed to!"
"There was that one time." gulped green hair. "He missed the mark by months."
Monkey groaned. "Great."
Elizabeth sighed. "Well, if you are stuck here I will not have you run around unattended." She looked at a nearby servant girl. She was by far the prettiest thing in the kingdom, though few would employ her due to the source of her beauty. "Ariasa, prepare a chamber for the young gentlemen and summon Rutherford. I am sure he will be eager to look after a herd of children again. Warn him they may not be with us long."
"At your will, your majesty." The girl bowed, he pointed ears poking out of her hair as she did so.
Elizabeth was certain she would keep the children safe. Dalish Elves were rather obsessive when it came to looking after other magical beings.
