Spoilers ahead, I guess. Also, gore warning.

One morning after an unseasonably cold night, Fluttershy wakes to find a foal has been left on her doorstep. After spending the day with the foal, she makes the decision that will not only change her life, but put Equestria as everypony knows it on the precipice of disaster: she wants to be a mother.

The foal, Ashen Amethyst, shows from the very beginning that he is anything but normal and only further removes himself from ponykind when he acquires a taste for meat. After many years and a horrifying transformation, Ame, as he would come to be called, would be ostracized from his home and strike out on his own, an equal hunger for knowledge and flesh driving him to travel Equestria and the lands beyond.

Many years of acquiring power and forbidden knowledge would finally bring him back to Ponyville bearing a darkness that threatens to swallow their land and change everything they know. Will Twilight Sparkle and the Elements of Harmony be enough to defeat this new threat or will darkness shroud Equestria? There's only one way to find out.
