I turned back around to the jars filled with a thick red liquid, “are you here for the package?” She asked, “Yes... is it ready?” I nodded, “well let’s box it up and quickly get it out of here.” “You’re the boss.” I said. “Just don’t take so long to get here,” I smirk “ you’re getting slllooowwww.” Rainbow seems to take a double take “ Aha me? Slow? Don’t make me laugh.” Hehe I love messing with her. “Well... that may not be my cutie mark...” I said as I look at it, my cutie mark, a picture of the Rainbow Factory with falls of rainbows out of the side. I sigh. *shakes head* “...but i am good at it.” “Autumn...are you ok? You seem sad.”. “Well Rainbow...” I stop as my eyes widen as I realize something “WAIT RAINBOW! YOU NEED TO GET THIS TO THE FACTORY NOW!” “Oh shoot yeah... ok Autumn we’ll continue this later.”she said flying over to the straps and strapped herself in, “bye Autumn.”. “Bye Rainbow,” I said waving. She was gone. “Well...” I look back at my cutie mark, “the factory...” ... “i’ll Never tell Rainbow but, because of the factory, I never had any friends... the only ponies I grew up around were teens/adults... but now they are....” I sigh, “not around here” I start crying, “why Factory....why, why must you take away all the friends I had.” I stomp the ground and broke a hole in the cloud I was on and almost fell through. “Well it’s night so I better go to sleep,” I said still crying, getting into the house behind me. “Oh Autumn...don’t worry you’ll get friends soon enough.” “Hey Autumn...” Rainbow said with a weird grin on her face. “Uhhh yeah? What is it Dash?” I asked with worry. “You have been reassigned.” Oh that’s it o.... Wait “What?! What do you mean I’ve been reassigned? And to where?” “I don’t know why, just the Big Boss’s orders. To where is to a little town called Ponyville.” She said with a hint of happiness. “Ponyville...” I roll that around on my tounge... “why does that sound familiar?” Ponyville.... Ponyville. “Wait aren’t you already stationed there?” I asked after remembering. “Well yeah,” she said rubbing the back of her head “ but i’m not a supplier, just a manager. And probably because of lat night I was late getting the shipment there.”. “Well that wasn’t my fault.” I said. “ Nopony said it was,” Rainbow said “ they just thought it would be easier for me to get the shipments there if we were in the same town.” It makes sense...but... “Yeah,” I said “when am I supposed to pack?” “Right now. Go!” “Ok ok.” After an hour or two packing we were ready to hit the skys. Outside I was trying to keep a straight face inside I was estatic! New place yay. After a smooth flight through the air we finally arrived in Ponyville, the home of The Elements....we might have a problem here. Well nothing I can get away with *laughter*. “Well Autumn” Rainbow Dash said “here we are... home sweet home!”. “Yeah” I said as I look around, “looks spacious also... look big enough for you to go snail’s speed in” “Hey now” she said holding a hoof to her chest, “watch it.” . “Hehe whatever you say. ma’am” “HEY!” it’s fun to annoy her. “Anyway where do you plan to place me?” “Oh yeah right ... uhhh “ she said looking around the outskirts. “there!” Rainbow said pointing to a house. We flew down to the ‘house’ and started unpacking. “Ok well Autumn... I need to get Pinkie Pie so we can get it over with.” “Pinkie Pie” I said with a look of worry. “Yeah her. Anyway get set up and head to Sugarcube Corner in 2 hours for it?”. “Yes ma’am. Ehe”. “Stop calling me ‘ma’am’! *Grumble* See ya later.” Rainbow said as she flew off. “Bye.” I said even though she could no longer hear me. After unpacking the rest of my equipment, I sat down on the green grass and waited for the inevitable. “Hiya!” Said Pinkie Pie coming out from the door of my house instead of the barrel I placed, “I’m Pinkie Pie and Dashie told me there was a new pony in town. AndnowIgottoinviteyoutoSugarCubeCornersowecanhaveyourparty!!” She said jumping her words together. “Pinkie Pie...” I said, “slow down”. “OhIcantImustsimplydoitasfastasIcanbecauseIwassurprisedwhenDashieofallponiestoldMEofanewpony...” her face starts turning pink....er..... for,some reason “anyway here’s your invitation... BYE!” Pinkie said as she jumps into the barrel. I looked at the barrel in shock of how a single pony could have said all of that in a single breath. I shake my head and rub my temple. “Ok well...now we got that over with.” I said. Looking at the invitation. You [insert pony’s name here] Autumn Blaze, have been corridgly invited to SugarCube Corner for your [insert type of party here] WELCOME TO PONYVILLE PARTY, at [insert time here] 7:30p.m. See You There! With squees and giggle, Pinkie Pie After going inside I look at the time... 5:30p.m.... so I got 2 hours for ‘till party time. An hour later “Hey Autumn...”said Rainbow Dash flying in, “did you meet Pinkie?”. “Yeah.” I said “What’s the time for the party?” She asked. “Ummm.... 7:30p.m.” I replied. “Ok so another hour.” Hour skipped I ‘rounded the ‘corner’ and entered SugarCube ‘Corner’ heh. When I entered the lights were off. “Hello?” I said into the darkness waiting for the surprise that was here. ”SURPRISE!!” said probably everypony in Ponyville. I was honestly surprised, I didn’t expect everypony to be here or it was going to be that loud. Pinkie entered behind me from the door...again.... “Welcome to your party Autumn!” she strapped a party hat to my head. “This party is for you! So do anything! We got Dunk and Apple...” “wait we do?!” Said an Orange pony with a triple Apple cutie mark, so that’s Applejack, she was for some reason sitting in a dunking booth. Pinkie continued as if she didn’t hear her, “we also got Karaoke...” she pointed to the gamma phone in the corner “we got sweets galore!” I can tell. “And my favorite...Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Pony! Go wild!” After that the party got started... I couldn’t sing to save my life so I didn’t do the karaoke but did the pony tail. After 30 minuets of playing... Pinkie Pie brought out the cake... Ahh the cake... it was a rainbow cake with these bead like things arranged in a circle arranged in a rainbow on top and on the very bottom side. When we got arranged to receive pieces of the cake Pinkie started cutting into the cake and what was inside was pictures of something also with multiple colors. And the piece was on my plate. I took a bite.... it was delicious. I was moaning with the taste. “You hear that everypony?!” Pinkie said to the crowd, “he likes it ... now everypony take a single piece “ she started cutting them into pieces smaller than mine was. After a few hours of eating cake and some ‘Dunk an Apple’ and Applejack cheating but Pinkie helped stop that. Everypony was beginning to head home. I stopped to tell Pinkie I loved the party and started heading home myself with Rainbow in tow. Author's Note Here it is It is quite different from what it originally was on paper. Chapter 2View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 2Heading home took a while... trudging through the streets of Ponyville. “Hey Rainbow...” I said, “what is your reputation here?” “Well Autumn, here I’m Rainbow Dash! Weather pony master and i even have a fan club for me.” She said with pride. I laughed. We arrived at my house. “Well Autumn... I got to go home, so see ya later.”she flew off. “Bye Rainbow!” I yelled after her. Rainbow flew back as if she forgot something. “Oh yeah before I forget.....” “Tell me again why I have to go?” I said as I got ready to go. “Because Autumn...” Rainbow said ready to take me, “if you gotta stay here then you then you need to go so Nopony gets suspicious.” I laugh. “Get suspicious of what?” “Well a colt not going...well uhh yeah.” Rainbow said rubbing the back of her head. “Well...ok,” I said, “you got me there Rainbow. Ok then let’s go.” Walking through the streets of Ponyville, we arrived at the building... a mostly red building with rectangular windows with hearts on them.The Ponyville Schoolhouse. “Well Autumn, here we are school.” Rainbow said . “I’ll see you after school ends.” “Ok students... we have a new student. Say hello to Autumn Blaze” cheers erupts. Expect from two. I walk to the front. “Ok and it looks like you have a cutie mark... so please tell us what it signifies.” I look at my cutie mark, “Well Cheerilee... it signifies that I work to make rainbows.” An orange filly at the front looked up from her slumber “so does that mean you know Rainbow Dash?!” “Oh no not this again” the pink Filly with a tiara said. “Well yes I do,” I said. “I know her”.. “Wow!” “Ok students,” Cheerilee interrupted “now let’s get started.” SKIP “So Autumn, did you have a good day?” Rainbow asked as she flew in. “Well yeah” i said “I even met this filly who was ‘obsessed’ with you” “Obsessed?... Oh the squirt, Scootaloo-hehe yeah she’s the one who made the Rainbow Dash fan club.” Rainbow said with pride, "but..." she looked down with a look of sorrow, "she's a pegasus who can't fly." "Oh really?" I said "Why can't she?" "I don't know" Rainbow said "she never told me and I never asked." "Well--" I stopped as I was interrupted by somepony. I looked over to where I heard the pony. "Ok Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, I'll meet you at the club house!" it was Scootaloo. She got on her scooter and was about to ride off, but when she saw me and Rainbow, "*Gasp* You do know Rainbow! I thought you were just making stuff up!" she said bouncing as if she was Pinkie Pie... (sorry) (well ok). "Hey there Squirt!" Rainbow said as Scootaloo calmed down from her bouncing "how is it?" "Oh its been great!" Scootaloo said beginning to start bouncing. "Wow! Calm down there Squirt." said Rainbow as she put a hoof on Scootaloo to stop her from bouncing, "You don't want to become a Pinkie Pie!" Scootaloo stopped and cringed "Yeah, sorry," Scoot said. "Its ok Squirt." Rainbow said "Anyway Squirt, me and Autumn must be going so I'll see you for practice." "Bye Rainbow!". "Bye Squirt." She then ran back over to her scooter and scooted off. When me and Twilight were accusing everypony slash that one griffin." Rainbow blushed "Ehehe oh yeah" with that said, Pinkie pulled a door out of thin air and went through it. "Well..." 'The author' I thought 'who in Equestria is that?'. "Bye ya'll" and through the door she went. "Well Rainbow," I said "what now?" "Well I don't know Autumn." Rainbow said. "Wait!" she yelled as she got this grin on her face, "You are young so you need help. Find a pony to help." I salute "Yes ma'am. When's the date?" "Uhh end of the month." "Ok Rainbow, i'll see you then." I went back the way we came while Rainbow flew up to her cloud home. While walking though Ponyville, I heard an argument in-front of an expensive and 'posh' house. "Diamond Tiara!" I hid in between two houses as I watched the events unfold. Two ponies, a larger purpleish-dark pink color and the filly I recognize from school, Diamond Tiara. "You are supposed to be regal! Proper" said the larger pony, probably Diamond's mom "Not sulking on the ground! It makes you look weak!" "But mother-" Diamond said, so that is her mother "But nothing Tiara! Prim and Proper! your cutie mark is for regalness, others following you... not a sad excuse for a pony." Diamond was crying, hard. "But mom. I-I tried-my best but those--" "Yes those blank flanks kept you from doing your job. Well let me tell you one thing Tiara... Blank flanks follows us, and you have to make them know their place in this world so they'll stay in their place!" she yelled in Diamond's face, who started bawling her eyes out. "Oh stop crying Tiara! You have no need for crying! Just sulk it up and keep going." "Yes mother," Diamond said as she somewhat got her crying under controlled. "Good," her mother said, "now leave Tiara. I must go to the school and try to contain your failure." Diamond nodded and went into the house behind them.That-That- grrr how could she?! How could she do that to her own daughter?! She's perfect. I just need a way and time to knock her out and drag her without being seen in the process. The pony, who i'm gonna call 'the one', was leaving to what i believe was the school, so after she went past my hiding spot, I followed far behind. That day, a lot of ponies were in town buying things at the square. And of course, she took an off path to avoid the crowd. So of course, I followed behind here. *crack* i look down. It was q branch. A branch... in an ally way? Man this town is going down hill. “ Who’s there” the mare said “ I will report you and strip you of all your possessions!” After standing still without any more noise she turned back around and kept walking. One step: I got closer. Two steps: closer again. Four steps. Five steps: right behind her. *Crack* Thats the sound of step 1 completed. Now for step 2: draging her back without being spotted. Should be easy enough. “Hmm... Huh where am I?! Show yourself and untie me!” Buttons are pushed. Machines are activated. Whats done is done. Job completed. The bloods in the jars and everything is done for today. Tomorrow is a new day. “Ok class” i hope you learned a lot today fir tomorrow there will be a quiz on everything we learned yesterday and today. So go home and study.” Cheerilee said wishing us bye. Well great... quiz. “ Hey! Autumn! Wait up!” I looked over my shoulder and saw Scootaloo and the other two. “Oh hey Scoots, what is it that I can do for ya?” “Well we were gonna ask ponies around how they got there cutie marks” Sweetie Belle said, “but we were wondering if you had an idea for us?” Hmmm. Oh. I hot an idea alright. “Wait how about we try what you do!” I cringe. “Is something the matter Autumn?” “No its just, what i do is not exactly safe...” “Oh ptft!” Scootaloo said with a scoff “ like we care.” “Oh yeah. But it can only be done by Pegasi.” I look over at Scoots “if younwant to try?” “Heh well incase you haven’t noticed I can’t fly with these sorry esscuse for wings.” “Oh we not need worry for that” i said with glee, “for i will teach you how to fly.” Scoots did a double-no-a triple take. “You What! You will!?” She became Pinkie again. “Calm down Scoots. Well anyway i need to get started. Scoots come with me, for you are gonna fly!” “*squee*” Scootaloo squeed. “Ok first we need to allow access to your Pegasus magic... so what I want you to do is start flapping.” “Ok...flapping...got it.” Moving quietly, i got behind her and without flinching, i grabbed a feather and pulled. Not enough for it to come loose but enough for it to sting a little. “ Ow! What in Celestia was that for?!” “Don’t question it,” i said “ just keep flapping.” “Grumble mumble.” After the grumbling it finally happened. The Pegasus with humming bird wings got off the ground for the first time in her life. “*gasp* Autumn look!! I’m Flying! I’m flying!! Woohoo!!” excitement is in the air today isn’t it? “Ahah ok Scoots now we can get started. Come on inside.”Begrudgingly she landed and went in. “Wow Autumn.” She said while looking at all the equipment “what is it that you do?” “Well as you know, I help make Rainbows.” “Yeah but...how with all this machinery?” “Well you see that pony tied up with a knife to his throat?” She nodded “we- no- you’ll kill him. And by using his blood... the rest at the factory will make rainbows out of it.” Scootaloo flinched “You mean... you kill ponies and harvest their blood?” I nodded “cool how do i begin” I raise an eyebrow “Just pull that lever over there.” With no other questions asked she flew over there and pulles the lever, activating the machine. "Uhh scoots..." I said getting her attention. "Yeah what?" I pointed behind her. She gasped "Does this mean--" on her flank was her cutie mark. Like mine, it was a picture of my house, a silloated version, but still my house, with pools of Rainbows around it. ""YES MY CUTIEMARK!" "I knew you were gonna be a good one the moment I saw you." I said as I watched her bouncing around stopping only to look at the mark, then went back to bouncing. “Ok Scoots," she stopped to look at me, "Rainbow is gonna be here soon. Do you want to join? You could even show her your new mark.” “Well Yeah!” “Eheh good to hear. Come on then.” We gathered the jars and headed outside. “Any minute now.” I said looking to the skys. Oh come on Rainbow. Where are you. “Oh hey Autumn...” there you are. “ sorry I was late for I was-“ “-Rainbow... you don’t ‘just be late’ for this kind of stuff. I don’t care if you have other things to do! For you ‘make’ time!” I said interrupting her. “Yeah yeah Autumn.” She said. Looking over she saw Scoots. “Oh hey Squirt, wh-what are you doing here?” “Well Rainbow... Me and the crusaders thought we could try and get cutie marks trying to do what Autumn does and-“ Rainbow did not like the sound of that apparently for she grabbed hold of me and started shaking me around. “Autumn! Tell me you didn’t! You know that we aren’t supposed to do that! Why could—“ she screamed into my face. “Calm down Rainbow, He only showed me.” “Yeah and she was good too.” “*Huff* ok then. Did ya’ll at least sing?” “Yes I didn’t know she had a beautiful singing voice.” “Ok then... I guess it’s all good then.” She saw she was still holding me, “ uhh sorry” she let me go. “Yeah. Anyway, Scoots help Rainbow with the jars.” “Yes sir.” She said with a salute. I cringe “Ok Rainbow... I see how bad the is now.” Rainbow laughs. As Rainbow flew to the jars, Scootaloo flew right behind her. “How I forgot!” Scootaloo said, “how could I have forgotten!” “What did you forge—“ she turned around. And her jaw dropped. “—Scoots you’re—“ “Yeah I’m flying! How did I forget that!” Rainbow tackled Scoots to the ground and hugged her. "Oh my Celestia! Scoots! You're flying! I-I can't believe it!" Such a sight. "Yeah Rainbow." I said, then I began to smirk, "I was able to teach her how to fly and she was able to do it first try." Rainbow looked over at me. "you are supposed to be great at flying, yet you couldn't teach the one who looked up at you the most to fly? Are you actually good at flying or no?" "Hey watch it Autumn." Rainbow sneered, "I am great at flying," she then rub the back of her head, "just not good at teaching how to." Rainbow looked back over at Scootaloo and saw something that made her eyes pop. The cutie mark. "You even got your Cutie Mark" Scoots smiled with pride at the sight of her idol admiring her cutie mark "Yeah! I did!" After enough time to know how it felt, Rainbow and Scootaloo loaded the jars onto the loading thing Rainbow brought. "I'll see you next time." "Bye Rainbow!" Scoots said. "Yeah bye Rainbow." I said also. When Rainbow was out of earshot I pulled Scootaloo into my house. "Ok Scoots, now since this happened, you can NOT tell ANYPONY, DRAGON, CHANGELING, ZEBRA, OR ANYOTHER CREATURE ON THE PLANET! NOT EVEN YOUR OWN FRIENDS! BECAUSE THEN, THE PRINCESSES WILL HEAR AND THEN ALL OF US EVEN RAINBOW DASH WILL GO TO TARDARUS! UNDERSTOOD?" "Yes. Got it. calm down!" "Ok" I calmed back down "good." School time. I wonder if Scoots already told her friends about her cutie mark. Hopefully not, if so lets just hope she came up with an alibi. Making a problem was the easy part, the hard part was to escape the wrath of a hundred fillies and colts and the teacher need the reason rises. At school was the good stuff, no fillies and colts gathered to make my day a living Tardarus, just peace and quiet. Which means that Scoots isn't here yet to show off her cutie mark. As I was almost in the building, I heard what might make my day Tardarus if not careful, "Scoots ah'm so proud o' ya," Apple Bloom, which means the other two are there too. "Yeah Scoots who knew you were destined to make rainbows." "Yeah! If we never asked Autumn, I might have never got this!" "Yeah! Too bad we couldn't try. What did you even do to make the rainbows?" Uh oh, well let's this be a test of some kind. "Sorry, its a company secret." Scootaloo said to them. Well good enough I guess. "Aww," the awwed. Scootaloo looked up and saw me looking, she was about to say something when the bell rung. "Ok everypony!" Cheerilee yelled, "time to come on in!" "Ok everypony... it looks like somepony finally got there cutie mark. Scootaloo! Congratulations!" Cheerilee said. "Now, come on up and tell us about it." This is important that she does not tell here. "Well..." Scootaloo said, looking at me for what to do, eventually she said, "this cutie mark is a symbol for making rainbows," "Oh so like Autumn's." Cheerilee said, "and how is it do you make rainbows?" I glance at Scootaloo, she's nervous, "Sorry," she said, "that's a company secret." "Oh well," Cheerilee said, disappointed, "well lets begin class. "Hay you!" somepony said, "Ah want to ask ya somethin'" looking behind me was Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle, "Uhh sure," I said confused "what is it?" "We want to know what goes on when you make rainbows," Sweetie Belle said, "Scootaloo won't tell us," "Well as Scootaloo said, 'its a company secret.'" I said as they got a dejected look. "Ah know Ah know." Apple Bloom said "'Its a company secret' yes yes." "Hey Autumn," I look over my shoulder to see Scootaloo flying towards us, "we need to continue." "Ah yes," I said, looking back at Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle, "Well I would love to continue this chat but we need to get going." "Yeah sorry girls" Scootaloo said to them, "but I won't be able to go with ya'll today. Maybe sometime-- " "Yeah, yeah Scootaloo," Apple Bloom interrupted, "we know, now that you got your cutie mark you 'gotta do what its tellin' you to'." Apple Bloom smiled, "Go have fun making rainbows." they turned around and went on their way. "Ok Scootaloo," I said turning to her, "since you're new... you get to pick a pony. So who do you want to pick?" She looked around where we were and pointed at random. "That one." Pointing to an yellow-ish earth pony with a green mane completed with a carrot cutie mark. "Good choice." Author's Note The tradition started when ponies figured out what the factory actually did to get the Rainbows they loved, it was made to strike fear for those who managed to escape, naturally, the workers stopped all hope of escape soon after the twelveth escape, eventually, all the ponies died of either the factory or natural causes, well why do they still do it?, they still did because the song iscatchy.
Chapter 5View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 5“Come on Angel.” A butter-yellow pegasus said to a little snow white bunny “we need to get those carrots you love from Carrot Top.” Angel stomped his left leg *bum-bumbum* “I know Angel, but I didn’t have any anything you liked at home” *bumbum* “come on.” Approaching a stand with a carrot on the sign being mared by a yellow-ish pony with a green mane. “Hello Fluttershy!” Said the pony, “How many carrots is it this time?” “Oh umm we need four carrots. *bumbum-bum* five I-I meant.” “Ok Fluttershy.” Basket, 1 carrot, 3 carrots, 5 carrots. “Here you go. Five bits.” “Ok here you go" Fluttershy said. At that moment a liitle filly came up to Carrot Top. "Hello Carrot." "Oh hello, Scootaloo." Carrot Top said with suspicion. "What is it that you want now?" "Me? Nothing." Scootaloo said, "just Applejack, she needs help with Apple Bloom sense she will be gone and Granny Smith and Big Mac will both be away." 'That... that can't be right.' Fluttershy thought, 'If it is... where is she going without telling us?' "Oh my!" Carrot said, "Well ok Scoots tell Applejack I'll be there! When is it that she'll need me?" "She needs you to be there in-" Scootaloo began thinking, "-about 20 minuets." "Ok." Carrot Top looked over at Fluttershy, "Sorry Flutters I got to leave as you heard. But here's your carrots." "I don't m-mind, you go help Apple Bloom." *bum-bum-bumbum* "Sorry Angel this is all we get." *bum* "Come on Angel." Fluttershy and Angel walked away. "Ok come on Scoots," Carrot Top said turning to Scootaloo, "let's go." then they started walking to Sweet Apple Acres. "Come on Angel." Fluttershy whispered to Angel. "Let's see what's she's actually doing." Angel nodded. Following far enough behind so they couldn't be seen, they watched as Carrot Top and Scootaloo walked into the Acres. Fluttershy with Angel on top, flew behind a tree to stay out of sight. At that moment, Scootaloo grabbed a thick branch on the ground and flew up behind Carrot and swung. Carrot Top was now unconscious. "*gasp*" Fluttershy gasped as Angel quickly putted his paw over Fluttershy's mouth to stop any more 'quiet' noises. Continuing watching, another pony showed up. It was Autumn Blaze. "Good job Scoots." he said looking at the unconscious body of Carrot Top. "Come on. lets get her to my house." With Autumn picking up the front and Scootaloo with the back then flying away. Watching them flying away with Carrot Top's body, Angel removed his paw and Fluttershy gave a sigh. "Rainbow..." Fluttershy said, "you might think that it was good at the time, but in the long run... things won't turn out like you want." Angel looked up at Fluttershy with a look saying, 'What now?' *Bumbum* "Sorry Angel. Your carrot cake will have to wait." Angel nodded, "I'll be back later so I want you to head home." After saying that, Angel nodded and stomped his leg *bum-bum* and bounced his way home. "Don't worry Angel," Fluttershy said, looking in the direction Autumn and Scootaloo flew off in, "I'll be fine." and took off in the same direction. Putting the jars off to the side, they congratulated each other in a job well done. "Well Scoots," I said, "another like her and we'll reach the quota in no time." "Yeah!" Scoots replied. "I'm also glad of my excuse to get Carrot Top away from everypony." "Yeah." I said, "Say sorry to Apple Bloom later though." *KNOCK-KNOCK* "*groan* I wonder who it could be." I said. Walking to the door, I looked out the little hole in it and saw a butter yellow pegasus. 'OH My Celestia!' I screamed eternally. 'Its Fluttershy! Ok Autumn. Don't let her see through you.' I calmed myself and opened the door for Fluttershy. "Oh h-hello Flutters. Wh-what brings you to my home?" Waiting for on of them to open the door, one finally did. The pony who did was Autumn. "Oh h-hello Flutters. Wh-what brings you to my home?" Looking at him, then at Scootaloo, then at the room, I finally looked back at Autumn, "Hello Autumn, Scootaloo." "Hi ya Fluttershy!" Scootaloo greated as if nothing was wrong. "So did Carrot Top make it ok Scootaloo?" Scootaloo, tried to think of something and something fast. "Uhhh what do you mean? Of course she made it ok." That was Scootaloo's reply. "I saw you knock her out," she then turned to Autumn, "and I saw you fly in and helped Scootaloo fly her away to here." They both got scared, but then Autumn got brave. "And what about it?! You can't do anything! The only thing you can do is stare us to death!" "I know," Fluttershy said. "but I have no intention of actually doing anything. Just want to ask.... How long has Rainbow been teaching you and how long have ya'll been doing this?" "Huh?" Autumn and Scootaloo 'huhed' "What do you mean?" Autumn asked. "I mean, how long has it been since your first jar of blood? How long have you worked for the factory?" "Huh... I-Huh..." Meanwhile "Hello Rainbow Darling." Rarity said. I turned around in midair (because I'm just that awesome!) to see what Rarity wanted. "Yeah Rarity? What is it?" "Oh nothing Darling. I just wanted to say 'hello', and to ask where you are flying to with that container." Looking to the container in question, it was not a very big container, just big enough to hold the perfect amount of jars required for the factory. "Oh this?" I said, shacking the container, "its to carry the supplies for the Rainbow Factory from Autumn and Scootaloo." "Oh those two little jewels? Why do they work at the factory at such a young age?' Rarity asked. "Well Autumn works under me and Squirt works with Autumn. They both got their cutie marks for making rainbows." Rainbow explained. I look at the sun, and freaked out at its position. "UhhSorryICantTalkMoreForINeedToGoNOW!" Speeding off into the direction of Autumn's house and still carrying the crate, I landed infront of the door and barged in. "Hey ya Autumn. Stop what you're....." In the building was not only Autumn and Squirt, but Fluttershy was here too! "...doing..." 'What is she doing here?! Uhh ok ok. Be calm, be cool, like always.' "Oh hi Flutters! What brings you here?" "Oh hey Rainbow Dash" Fluttershy said, looking at me 'I do not like the way she said that.' "I was just here, seeing that these two are actually part of the Factory, and thinking to myself, Rainbow needs to give me an explanation for why... two KIDS" she pointed to Autumn and Scootaloo, "are apart of the Rainbow Factory! AND both have a cutie mark for it!" "Oh hehe, funny story actually..." I said, rubbing the back of my head. "Well Rainbow... I'm waiting." I shiver as she looked like she wanted to use the STARETM at me. "Oh well many years ago...." Many years ago... "Hello Rainbow" a pony said, looking over... it was BronyDanceParty, but we call him 'Dance' "Where's Fluttershy, Dash? "Oh she's has a pet care now, so she will be unavailable for somethings. I said. "So Fluttershy is a member of the Factory?" Scootaloo interrupted. "Was." Fluttershy corrected. "I was, I'm not anymore." "Hmm... I can't see it." Scootaloo said. "See what Scootaloo?" I asked. "Well I can't see Fluttershy, of all ponies, to have been a member of the Rainbow Factory." "Yeah well it happened ok?" i said to Scootaloo. "Now let me continue." "So is this the foal you've taken for 'Bring a Foal to Work'?" Dance asked. Looking to my side I saw a little colt, with very light-yellow body and fiery red mane and tail, "Yeah." I replied. "His name is Autumn Blaze." "Yes well I don't care for his name." Dance said,with a frown, "All we care about is.......That he has a good time!" he said suddenly with a smile. Autumn looked around the place and said, "so this is where you make the rainbows?" "Yes, yes it is," I replied. He turned to me, " It looks plain and boring. Not somewhere you make a colorful thing." Both me and Dance shrugged. "Hey Rainbow," Dance said, "How about you start the tour?" "I would love to. Hey! where did he go?" "Now..." I said, :"I don't know what happened next since I wasn't there." Turning to Autumn, "But you do" "And?" he said. "And... it's your turn." "Fine." With Autumn While those two were talking, I decided to slip away. 'Let's see what there is here that I can do.' I thought. 'Where is everypony? Isn't this supposed to be a busy place?' looking everywhere... I saw a pony, tied up to a metal table thing. "A colt?" he asked surprised that a little colt was here, "well it doesn't matter, Can you help me down? Quickly before anypony comes back!" On the floor in front of the mysterious pony was an interface. Walking over to the interface there were buttons. "I think its one of those buttons." the pony said. looking at the interface there were greens, blues, and more in the color of the rainbow. Not knowing this guy I pressed the full rainbow one, oh yeah i forgot the rainbow one, the rainbow one was big, bigger than the rest. Pressing it, the machine activated. "What? No! WRONG BUTTON!" the pony said, looking at the sawblade coming to ruin his day, and life. Watching the blade move forward, I began to feel strange. "AHHHHHH!Arrfjhh" The sound of death. "That's when we came in." Rainbow said. Rainbow Dash Running in, I saw Autumn, in front of the console, and the pony we were saving for after lunch, already dead, and Autumn with the pony's blood. Watching the blood of the pony falling into the container below. Looking at the other worker, and getting into a huddle to decide what to do."Dance, what happens now?" somepony said. "Yeah. And what about that kid?" another said. "Calm down everypony," Dance replied, "Rainbow... you brought him here, its your call of what happens." Everypony looked at me, with the exception of Autumn, who was looking at the rainbow making process. "Hmmm..." I said. "I got an idea. How about he join our ranks? He already proved to be natural, heck, he even got his cutie mark for it! Dance nodded, "Yes well, lets take a vote..." Looking to everypony he said, "Ok raise a wing if you agree to let him join us." Counting, there were forty-one out of the fifty-seven that raised a wing. Dance nodded. "Ok. Now raise a wing to kill him right here right now." The other sixteen hesitantly raised a wing. "Ok so its decided," I said "before the end of the day, Autumn will be a worker here. Now... everypony, Back to work!, and when the day is finished he will join in on it. Got it?" I said with a stern look. "YES MA'AM" I cringe, not from how loud it was, just at being called 'ma'am'. Walking over to Autumn, who was now watching us, "Ok Autumn," I said, catching his attention, "come on. Let's work with your cutie mark." Looking at his cutie mark, he nodded, "Ok 'Ma'am'". 'Of course you noticed' "Yes yes," I said rolling my eyes, "come on." Walking to the rest of the group to get Autumn situated into the group and explain to him what to do, we setted him off to mare the controls. After a long day, we all got together and lead Autumn up front. "That last song," i said, "was great, it also went through a change once, it was changed a little, but the manager didn't like that and fired, well, killed the pony, Celestia, that pony was a good pony." Feeling symphony for her and her family, I thought of the lyrics in my head. "Rainbow?" Autumn said, "not that I don't like to hear about the past but, aren't you forgetting something?" pointing out the window. Looking, I saw that the sun was almost down. "Crapcrapcrap!" I yelled, rushing to the jars and hurriedly started packing. "OkitwasnicetotalktoyouandtoseeyouagainFluttersbutyouknow,dutycalls!!!! BYE!" I yelled, flying through the door, not bothering to wait and open it, and setted off for the Factory, and another scolding. Author's Note le gasp yeah. who knew? Also hello REVENGE I finally got to put your song in. Might not be the best place, so tell me if you are not satisfied with it or how i did it. On another note, I decided to put this up early for i am having a lot of thoughts to go in this. so here ya'll go. an early chapter.
Chapter 6View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 6"Rainbow Dash..." Dance said as I flew in. I was nervous for what he was gonna do. As I landed, he said to me, "What took you so long this time? We even put you two in the same place." "Heheh well..." I began, "I actually ran into Flutters and apparently she knew that Autumn and Squirt worked here." Dance raised and eyebrow. "Really?" he asked, "How in Equestria did she find out?" I shrug. "How am I supposed to know?" I asked, "when I got over to Autumn's, she was already there. And she demanded an explanation on how they became workers here." Dance nodded. "Well ok then Rainbow," he said, "I guess I can let you off the hook for this." he looked at me with a serious face, "But don't let it happen again." "Yes boss." I said quickly. "Now get outta here." I nodded while I unstrapped the load and flew back out the way I came in. Scootaloo The day after Fluttershy came to us was a 'No-School-Day'. Which means, obviously, no school today. So I'm heading over to the clubhouse to meet up with the crusaders. Today since I'm not technically a crusader anymore, I don't really need to come since i'm not a Blank-Flank *cringe* anymore, but I still want to play with my friends. "Hello there Apple Bloom, and Sweetie Belle" I said, How are ya'll?" "Oh well ah'm doin' fine an' dandy right now." "I'm ok." They said. "Good. So what is it that ya'll are planning to do now?" I asked. "Oh well me an' Sweetie are planning to make a flying machine that flies without magic!" Apple Bloom said, grabbing my hoof and bringing me to their blueprints. "An' you're a pegasus that already can fly, so we were thinkin' that you can give us some pointers in our design." Looking at the mention print, I saw a pretty good looking design. "Looking good," I said, "rotors look big enough, wings too. The entire thing looks aerodynamic." looking over at Apple Bloom and Sweetie, "Looks good, but what are you gonna make it out of?" "Already thought of that!" Sweetie Belle replied, "we are gonna make it out of steel!" Nodding with a hoof under my chin, I said to her, "Yes yes good choice, durable enough to sustain any impact if used correctly. But where and how are you gonna get enough steel to build one that big?!" The two look at each other and smirked. "Already thought o' that Scoots." Bloom said, "We are gonna go ta Ghastly Gorge and mine it from there. Who knows, me an' Sweetie even get a mining cutie mark if all else fails." "Yeah!" Sweetie yelled."The plane is actually the backup plan for if we don't get a mining cutie mark!" I nod. 'pretty good idea i guess.' "Ok girls ready?" Apple Bloom asked. Me and Sweetie nodded. We bump our hoofs together. CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS FLYING THINGY MAKERS YAY!! In hindsight, both ideas were a failure. We went down to the Gorge, got a lot of steel, but not too much before the wall things gave us good reasons to leave. Afterwards, while trying to build the flying thing, we discovered that none of us actually knew how to make the rotors and wings move, so that was a bust. But hey, at least no tree sap was involved this time, but Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon was, they came over to laugh at us again. How much I really want to have them over at Autumn's. 'Would I even be able to get her over at Autumn's in the first place? Maybe I could get Autumn to try?' Well I don't know. Anyway... we scraped the flying thing, and place the steel in the barn for later. As it was getting late, Apple Bloom was called inside by Applejack, and Sweetie left for the boutique. I left for Autumn's little factory. While traveling to Autumn's I stumbled across Pinkie Pie, who was talking to somepony. Looking to who it was I was surprised to see that it was Autumn himself. 'Oh great' I thought, 'what's Pinkie going on about now.' Well if this is happening, Pinkie might keep him for the rest of the day. Don't know what they are talking about, but I do know that it will take awhile. "meh," I shrug, "Might as well go to Rainbow's house then." Looking to the sky to find her cloud home, I found it floating by the library. Readying my wings for flight, I saw that Pinkie Pie was holding something. Not wanting to know what it is, i hurriedly started flying to Rainbow's home. Autumn "Hmmm what else do i need?" I asked myself. Holding the list in my hoof, I needed- Two crates of empty jars ✔ Five cans of oil One saddle bag (for Scoots) ✔ Nine empty bags. First, let's get the cans of oil. Walking to the greasy pony, who was an earth pony, he said, "Ahh hello little one. What is it that you want?" "I need five cans of oil." I said, "Make it extra greasy." "Ahh yes." He said. He went into the back of his little stand to look for the cans in question. After a minuet or two, he returned with the five cans. "Here ya go little one. It will be 7 bits." "Of course" I replied. Hoofing over the bits I picked up the jars and putted them into my saddle bag. Putting the bits under the counter, he said, "Thank you! Have a nice day!" "Thanks you too!" I replied. Leaving the stand, I looked back at the list, all I need now are the empty bags.Looking around, I saw the bag place and walked towards it. "HI YA AUTUMN!" That was right in my ear. Turning to the disturbance, I saw Pinkie Pie standing there, holding....something? "Uhh hi Pinkie," I said, waving."Uhhh I don't mean to sound worried but, what is that?" I asked pointing to the object in question. "Oh this?" She said, holding it up,"I don't know." Looking at it seriously, she continued, "but I want to push it." "Oh don't worry, the same thing won't happen twice in a row." She started reaching to press the button. But right before she managed to press it, it disappeared. She looked around before glaring at the sky. She pouted. "You're no fun." And without blinking she vanished. I blinked. I shake my head and shrug. 'Nevermind' I thought. Continuing to the bag pony,who was a unicorn, "Oh hello deary," she said, "what is it that you want?" "I need nine bags." I said. She nodded and went into the back. After a few seconds she floated, nine bags and landed them on the counter, she then came out, "will these do?" she asked. Studying the bags, I saw that everything was ok. "Yes," I replied, "they will do." "Ok. 4 bits." She said. Hoofing over the bits, I pocketed the bags, and left the stand. Back at home I saw that Scootaloo wasn't there. "Huh?" I asked myself, "Shouldn't Scootaloo be here?" Hmm...maybe she saw me talking with Pinkie and thought something bad was gonna happen,... "Meh." I shrug,not worrying about it. Well we didn't have anypony today, so I guess its ok. The next day Apparently, today for the Factory, they have to work overtime. Lucky for me though, I'm not part of the actual factory. Today for me, is a break day. Although, I'm not sure what to do now. No school, no order from the factory, and of right now, no Scootaloo. "Celestia I'm bored!" I yelled, not caring if anypony was nearby. Well, maybe I could fly to Rainbow's. No. I put my hoof to my chin. Maybe I could talk with Applejack, Rarity, or Twilight, since I never actually interacted with them, besides dunking Applejack in the dunk tank. Yeah, that's a good idea. But who should I visit first. Ok Eni Meni Miny Moe than. "Eni Meni Miny... You. Pony spoiler for like a few sentences. I don't even know why i put this here.. Hearing the front bell ring, I walked over to great the pony. "Hello and welcome to The Carousel Boutique! Where everything is Chic, and Manufique!" Looking at the pony at the door, I realized it was the new pony, uhh Autumn, I believe. "Oh hello deary. I hope your stay here has been wonderful!" "Yeah it has been Rarity." he said, closing the door behind him. "So what is it that you want deary?" I asked, walking over to the sewing machine, "Whatever article of clothing you want, I can make!" "Oh I'm just here to actually introduce myself to Rainbow's friends, since I never actually did besides with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy." he said. "Oh, well, Autumn darling, come on up to the upstairs so that we can talk." I said, motioning to said stairs. And with an hour of talking, and me having to make him a tux for no charge, he had to leave for the others. "Well Rarity," he said, "it's been fun, and all but the others are waiting." "Yes Autumn, Say hi to Applejack and tell her our Spa day is today." "Ok Rarity! And thanks for the tux!" He left. Autumn Ok. Now only Applejack and Twilight. I might as well go to Applejack's next. Author's Note Where do you find these things anyway? I don't know. I just do. Of course. Anyway, maybe i could come up with my own Ponyfied Days of the Week. for example, SUNday, obviously for sunday, FriendDay, for Friday. and Manesday for Monday. What about the others? I don't know yet Pinkie. Hmm I got nothing. Maybe you reading this can help us. sounds like a good idea. for those few who read this, comment what you think should be for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I will pick the best ones and keep those for later. what if no one comments? Well Pinkie, I'll be sad, because probably that means nopony likes this story. but Meh whatever, this is my first story that I wrote completely and is actually my fav. as of now, I don't expect everypony to like it immediately.
Chapter 7View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 7The trip to Sweet Apple Acres was a short one, since the Boutique was close to it for some reason. At the gate was a big earth pony stallion with an apple cutie mark. "Is Applejack here?" I asked him. "Eeyup." He replied. "Do you know where she is?" He pointed to the field to the left, and with my eyesight, I saw a little orange blob there. "Thanks" I said, flying in that direction. He nodded. Nearing the field, i started hearing the sound of hooves connecting with trees. So there's Applejack, let's see how many apples she collected. Flying above the trees I saw the apple mare kicking a tree. Landing beside her, I said, "Hello Applejack!" Said mare flinched a little. She turned around to see me, "Oh hello there Sugarcube. I dont believe we hav met yet. Mah name's Applejack and..." "Applejack," I said, cutting her off, "We already met, though we didn't actually introduce ourselves." Applejack blushed. "Ahh well, How about that now?" She asked. "Yes well, my name is Autumn, and..." "Well hello Autumn," Applejack said, taking my hoof and shacking it. "An' welcom to Sweet Apple Acres! Would ya like ta come in an' hav some apple pie?" "Uhh no thanks." I said, backing up a little, "I was just here to introduce myself." "Well consider ya'self 'introduced' partner." "Yes well," I started, now hovering off the ground, "as I said, I would like to have some pie, but now I must go to Twilight's." Her ears flopped onto her head, "Ahh yes well, Ah guess, Ah'll see ya aroun' then." She said waving bye. I waved back then flew off. "Twilight, Have you seen Carrot Top?" Spike asked. I looked up from the book I was reading, "Uhhh come to think of it, I don't really know where she is," I said to Spike. "Hmm that's actually strange Spike, where could she have gone? We were also told by Mr. Rich and Diamond Tiara that Spoiled Rich is also missing." "*gasp* do you think that somepony's taking them?!" Spike asked. Thinking to myself, 'Yeah, what happened to them that made them disappear.' "No doubt about it Spike, something is happening and I want answers." I said getting up. "Spike!" I yelled, he ran up to me, "I want you to go to the lab and get my Magical Condensation helmet and the Magic Conversion ball!" He saluted and ran down the stairs to the lab. I sat back down in the chair and rub my temples. "Uhgg," I groaned. "What is happening to everypony? Is there even a pony, or whatever, that's taking them?" At that moment, Spike came back up with the helmet and ball in claw. "Here you go Twilight." he said. "Thank you, my favorite assistant," I said. Putting on the Magical Condensation helmet and holding the Magic Conversion ball in my magic, I started putting my thoughts into the disappearance of Carrot and Spoiled. What I got was a close up of yellow-ish coat and a red mane. I putted the ball down and took the helmet off. "So?" Spike asked. "What did you get?" I thought back to the image. "Well Spike." I said to him, "what I got was, an image of a yellow-ish coat and a red mane." "I don't think I know anypony with those colors," Spike thought. "Do you?" I thought back to everypony I knew, It came up negative. I shook my head, "No I don't Spike. At least we know that it is a pony." "Yeah but, there tons of ponies." Spike explained. I headbutted the table, "Yeah Spike, I know!" Looking back at the helmet and ball, I yelled, "AHHHH! Why must you be so difficult?! Spike, take these back to the lab." "Yes ma'am!" He ran back to the lab with ball and helmet in tow. I kept headbutting the table. "darn it, stupid helmet and ball! It would be so much easier if you just show me the entire pony, not just a piece of their coat and mane!" 'Well you made them like that.' "Yes I know that! Now I wish that I didn't" *knock knock* I'm coming!" I yelled at the pony at the door. Walking to the door, I looked through the little peep hole a pony with a yellow-ish coat and red mane and tail. I stumble back, and nearly trip. "Are you ok?" I heard the pony ask. "Uhh yeah..." I replied, "I'm fine" I opened the door, getting a more clearer look at the pony, I saw that the colt's mane and tail were not just red, but blazing red. 'Hmmm' I thought, can't believe I'm saying this, but this colt could make almost any filly fall for him.' "Uhh welcome to the Golden Oaks Library!" I greeted, "What are you interested? Come in." The pony walked in, Looking more closely, I saw that this was the pony from Pinkie's 'Welcome To Ponyville' party. "Oh hey you're...Autumn Blaze, right?" I walked into the Library. "Uhhh welcome to the Golden Oaks Library!" Twilight greeted. Why does she sound so nervous? "What are you interested? Come in." Walking in, I looked around. "Its actually a nice place.' I thought, 'Seems cozy.' "Oh hey, you're...Autumn Blaze, right?" "Well yeah." I said. Why is Twilight so nervous? "Twilight, why are you so nervous around me?"I ask. "Me nervous?" She said in fake shock, ""No, I'm just a little tired." Just then...Spike walked in from the basement. "Ok Twilight," He said, "I put the ball and the helmet back to where it was, and..." he stopped as he noticed me. "Oh hey Autumn." he waved. "Hey Spike" I waved back. His eyes widen. "I don't think I told you my name." Realizing what he's going on about, I replied, "Oh yeah, before I came here, Rainbow told me all about her friends. And right now I'm actually greeting each of them, including you Twilight," I looked over at her, "because I didn't actually introduce myself to ya'll." "Autumn..." Twilight began, "Why did Rainbow even went to where you lived?" "Its because I work for the Rainbow Factory," I said, turning my flank so they could see my cutie mark. "and she pick up the colors that I pack to the factory." Twilight shrugged, "Well ok then." Twilight then looked at me, "Well," she said, "Do you want a book? We got plenty." I laugh, "I can see." Looking around, I finally requested, "Uhh do you have, 'The World of Rainbows', by BronyDanceParty?" "Yes we do!" Twilight stated, "Spike! Go get the book from row F column 5!" "Yes ma'am!" Spike saluted, and ran off. After a moment, he came back with book in claw. "Here you go Twilight. " Twilight levitated the book from Spike's claw, "Thank you Spike, Come on Autumn." she walked to the desk on the side,. I followed. When we got there, she stamped the book and hoofed it over to me. "Ok, here ya go, the book is due in two months." "Ok twilight!" I grabbed the book and walked out. "Phew" I said when he walked out. "Twilight," Spike said nervously, "do you think..." "No. Its impossible." I replied. "It couldn't possible be a little colt!" "Well he matched the picture you got" "I know! But it must be wrong!" Spike started walking upstairs, "Well, I'll be asleep," he said, yawning, "If you need someone to complain that th ball and helmet were wrong... come wake me." He disappeared from view. I shack my head and smile. Aww Spike. I look back at the door. I hope that the ball and helmet were wrong, and then I sat back down at the desk.
Chapter 8View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 8"Hiya Autumn!" I think I heard something to the left of me. "Autumn, hey!" There it was again. Don't listen to it Autumn. It was going well until a Pink fur ball made entirely of the color pink, was blocking the way in front of me by bouncing in place. "Awww Autumn, what's wrong?" she stopped bouncing. "Nothing Pinkie," I replied, glaring. 'I think it's because whenever you're around, something goes wrong.' "Hey! Its not my fault that the author is bad at hiding them!" she looked to the sky. I stare confused at Pinkie "Uhh what?" I asked. She looked back at me, "Oh nothing," she waved with her hoof and squeed. "Anyway bye Autumn, I need to go back to Sugar Cube Corner and help the Cakes." she bounced away. " I kept staring at her until she rounded the corner. I shake my head and went back to the route. 'Pinkie....' I needed to get home quickly before she came back so I galloped all the way back. Back with Scoots Since I couldn't go with Autumn since Pinkie Pie had him, I decided to fly to Rainbow's. I looked to the sky, just I have to find it first. Scanning the sky, I say a cloud that looked like Rainbow's flouting near Autumn's. I decided to investigate. Nearing the cloud, I saw a cloud house on it. It is Rainbow's cloud home. Landing on the cloud, I walked to the door. *Knock Knock* Inside *Snore* *Knock Knock* I stumble awake from the knock at the door. I begrudgingly picked myself off the bed and flew to the door and open it while rubbing my eyes, "Yeah what?" I asked to the pony, still rubbing my eyes. "Heya Rainbow!" I heard the Squirt's voice. Not rubbing my eyes, I looked down and saw the Squirt. "Oh hi Squirt." I greeted, "wait, where's Autumn?" "Oh Pinkie caught up with him," Squirt said, "and I decided that Pinkie will keep him for a while, so I came here." I nod as Pinkie will likely do that. "Well now that you are here, what do you want?" I asked her. "Well, tell me about the Rainbow Factory." I gave a little grin. "Well actually," I dragged my hoof across the bare cloud, "In a few days, I am heading to the factory, so... why don't you fly there with me?" Her eyes widen and she gave a huge grin. "*Gasp* Really?!" I nod "Yes! I would love to!" She shot up into the sky with a flap of her wings. I flew up next to her, "Whoa calm down Scoots," I guided her back down to the cloud, I laugh "the factory is just an old rusty place where ponies go to die." "I know," she landed on the cloud, "I'm one of them, remember?" I laugh, "I guess that's true." Scoots was looking over the edge of the cloud and sighed. "What's wrong Squirt?" She shakes her head, "Oh! Nothing..." Scoots had this worried look on her face. "Oh!" She brightens up, "I need to go tell Autumn! Bye Rainbow!" She flew off to Autumn's, I wave. 'Let's hope he doesn't expect it.' Autumn "Mmmmhh" I stretched as I rose from the bed. I sigh, "Celestia, it is too late in the day for this." What is today even? I looked for a calendar, but I failed, because I didn't have a calendar. "Ugh never mind." Getting off oh my comfort, I walked to the door. I groan as I shook myself awake. *Knock, Knock Knock* 'Oh my Celestia' who in Equestria would go to a pony's house this late at night? "I really don't want to walk all the way over and open it." I grumble to myself. *Knock Knock* Ohh~~ you're persistent huh? Good to know. *KNOCK-KNOCK KNOCK* "Oh Ok Fine! I'm coming!" I was convinced to open the door. Rubbing my eyes, I looked through the peep hole. On the other side was Scootaloo. Oops. I opened the door, "Whoa Autumn," she said, a little startled, "did you wake up on the wrong side of the hay this morning?" "No, I wasn't able to," I explained, "because it's still night!" I walked out the door and closed it behind me. "Now, what is it?" "Well, earlier, I was heading here, and I saw that Pinkie caught you, so I decided, 'hey, since its Pinkie Pie, she might have him for a while,' so I flew up to rainbow's, told her, and I asked her about the factory, and she said that she was heading tho the factory in a few days," I narrow my eyes, "And?" "And she asked if I wanted to go with her to the factory," she gulped as she looked at the expression on my face. "Is something wrong?" I noticed the expression and shook my head, "Oh no, nothing, its just, your first time there, you may or may not be lucky." "Uhh, what does that mean?" "Nothing." I yawn, "Now could you leave. I need to go back to bed, and you need to go home, for tomorrow, there is school, and we need another pony." She pouts, "Fine, I'll leave." she started flying away, "Bye Autumn." "Bye." she flew in the direction of the town. When she was no longer in sight. I looked to the sky for Rainbow's cloud. After locating it, I was flying towards it and mumbled, "This better be better than it sounds, or we are gonna have a problem." *Snore* *KNOCK-KNOCK KNOCK* "AHHHH!!!" I screamed as I shot up to the ceiling and clung to it with my life. I was shivering as I clung. Looking around, I saw nothing that could have made that sound. *KNOCK KNCOK* I glare at the object of disturbance, the door. I detached from the ceiling and marched to the door. "WHAT IS IT?!" when I open said door, I saw the pony who made the noise, and it was Autumn, and he did not look happy. I felt small as I looked at him. "O-o oh hey Aut-Autumn, what bri-brings you here?" "You better explain." Author's Note "Hey! Its not my fault that the author is bad at hiding them!" ummm uhh...What things? Oh you know. Chapter 9View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 9"I hope, for the love of Celestia! That this does not mean what I think it does." She visibly gulped. "Oh uhh, w-what do you mean? I-I-I changed, after you came, w-w-we decided to stop." I glare, for any hopes that her facade crumbles. She is visibly sweating. "Yeah right." I said, not believing a word. If You Dare Try It," I flew right into her face, "I Will Personally Put You Through That Machine MYSELF!" She stumbled back, "You Got That!?" She started nodding vigorously "Yes! Yes I do!" "Good," I walked to exit, "She is very dear to me, and if I see, or even FEEL, that you are putting her through that machine, you better, expect me to put an end to that." I walked out the door and slammed it shut for her, even if it does nothing, since its a cloud door. I flew to my home. I knew that the only thing that I could do was not the best for Scootaloo. Even if Rainbow tries to kill her, Rainbow is an Element of Harmony, Loyalty. How? I don't know. For she dies if she tries. I couldn't go to sleep. I really didn't want to either. 'Rainbow Dash wants to take me, with her to the factory?!' A day with my idol, in the...factory.....where ponies........dies. I started to get suspicious, but shook my head clear. No, Rainbow would never! do that. I finally fell asleep. "Yeah Rainbow," I heard after Autumn left. "I don't think that he was joking." It was Pinkie Pie. "Pinkie? What, and how are you up here?" Her hair was flat, her color dark, and moody. "Well, you know how." She did not smile. "But don't worry Dashie, It was meant to happen." She brightened up as she said 'Meant'. "I don't really know what he plans to do, but I can't say more." I blink. She was no longer here. "Now I'm actually scared." I said. Well, today is another day. Yesterday was a mess. Rainbow was walking in circles, mumbling to herself. She was a little frightened, but she steeled herself, for nothing wrong was going to happen. Scootaloo couldn't go to sleep, but her suspicion calmed her down a little and was able to fall asleep. In her dreams, she was in the factory with Rainbow, nothing was wrong. She had a peaceful slumber that night. Twilight was so sure that the Magical Condensation helmet and Magic Conversion ball were wrong, that she scraped them, and started building them from scrap. She didn't want to believe that Autumn, was the pony behind the disappearances of Carrot Top and Spoiled Rich. Pinkie Pie, for the first time in her life after her life changed because of the first Sonic Rainboom, was doing absolutely nothing, just lying in bed, staring at the ceiling above. She was disrought and disappointed that this was how the story goes. Autumn, after leaving Rainbow's, he started preparing...something, nobody knew what it was. Amidst all his planning, he was concern for how Scootaloo will take it in the end should the worst happen. And finally, Fluttershy. In her days working in the factory, she wasn't killing ponies, she was secretly setting them free. Nopony knew this, not even Rainbow. This life made her miserable, and her animal friends saw that. They knew about her life, they told her to leave the factory once and for all. She did, but she was no longer able to save some of the unfortunate ponies that managed to get themselves stuck there. They never thought that they will get trapped in a world such as this. Rainbow said that the factory was always right, Autumn follows Rainbow since she is his employer, Scootaloo idolizes Rainbow and likes Autumn, he was the only pony who was able to teach her to fly and got her Cutie Mark and he's sweet. Fluttershy, Rainbow was her best friend and closet companion, Rainbow usually listens to what she has to say and respects them, Rainbow covered for Fluttershy for when she was "tending the animals" and all went well. Pinkie Pie didn't know what she was getting in to. She never thought that they were destined for this. And Twilight, she was always right, and her things were always right, but, she couldn't believe that her Magical Condensation helmet and the Magic Conversion ball showed that Autumn Blaze, the new colt in town, and officially a very sweet colt, could have been interluded with the disappearances. She just couldn't. Tomorrow is a new day. The Next Day It was early in the day when I heard a knock at the door, "Spike!!" I called for my assistant. "Yeah yeah." He moved to the door. "Yeah hello?" he said as he opened it. "O-oh hello. Are you here to return the book?"..."Well come on in." Looking up from my book, I flinch. Autumn? He was holding the book on rainbows with his wing. "Are you here to return it?" I ask. He looked grumpy. "Yes I am." He hoofed it to Spike who promptly grabbed it and returned it to it's rightful spot. "Would you like to check out another book?" He shook his head. "No thanks." "Are you ok?" I ask. "Oh yeah I'm fine. Why do you ask?" "Well for one, you look mad." "That's because I am mad!" I flinch from the volume. "Now. I'll be leaving. Bye." He left. He didn't even close the door. Spike came in when he left. "What do you think he's mad about?" he questioned. "It could be anything." I replied with a look of worry. "It could be his involvement with the disappearances, or anything else! We don't know!" "We just, have to wait." "Hey Rainbow!" I heard from Dance, "Have you got somepony you trust to bring?" "Oh uhh yes. Yes I do." "Rainbow. Tell me what's wrong." Darnit! I thought he wouldn't notice. "What do you mean?" I ask, "Everything is ok. Only that Autumn is on my ass about bring Scoots here." "Don't worry Rainbow. Its fine." I nod. "Now come on," he waved me over to the others, "back to work." Tomorrow Is A New Day
Chapter 10View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 10Scootaloo was having a rough day, not the fact of her choice of ponies, just the fact of her having to find a way to carry them to Autumn's without being seen. Speaking of Autumn, he was busy oiling the machines. *Knock Knock* 'That must be Scoots.' Stopping what I was doing, and opened the door. On the other side, was of course, Scootaloo, and behind her, on the ground, was obviously, a pony, this one had a snow white coat and blue mane and tail. "Hello Scootaloo, how was it?" I asked. She shrugged, "It was fine," she said. "The only problem was getting her here." "Yeah, sorry I couldn't help," I apologized. She rolled her eyes, "Yeah yeah. Let's just get her up there." I nod. Helping Scootaloo bring the mare up to the machine, we strapped her in tight and let the machine do the rest. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. Another pony, Scootaloo visiting Rainbow. Nothing much. And all three----FOUR!!-----waiting for the day of the trip. Sunday till Frenday. The end of the week. There was school today for Autumn and Scootaloo. "Ok class," Cheerilee said to the class, "today, as you might have noticed, is all about the sun!" She motioned to the decoration of the classroom. It was pretty nice too. Perfectly cut cardboard cutouts of the sun, painted perfectly as if Celestia herself made it. Some paper clouds, and a rainbow, painted on the ceiling. It wasn't what a rainbow actually looked like, it was just a generic rainbow. There were some questions of clouds and rainbows, like how they are made, (Autumn and Scootaloo got those questions, but mostly Autumn) but the majority was about the sun. Fillies and colts don't get things sometimes, they mostly just sit there and stare. The school bell rang and thus, break had started. As Cheerilee dismissed them, all galloped past each other and outside. And as Scootaloo was with the other crusaders, Autumn was still in the class, he was drawing something, it doesn't seem to be anything. "Autumn deary," Cheerilee said to him, "It's recess." "Fine." he said as he cleaned off his desk and walked to the others outside. And outside was the mess of fillies and colts galloping and bumping into one another. Rolling his eyes, he stepped into one of the tornadoes and began his quest. The bell rang and all stopped and went in. And what they saw surprised them. Instead of the massive sun in the front, was instead a massive cardboard cloud. "Ahh yes, come. come in, take a seat." Cheerilee said as she saw the students walk in. "Today was not only about the sun, as you can tell, we are also learning about clouds!" Cheerilee waited for them to sit down and get comfortable. "Ok students, who can tell me how clouds are made?" Many hooves were raised. "You there." she pointed to Scootaloo. "The weather factory." "Correct! Now, clouds can produce, what four things?" "Thunder, lightening, rain, and snow." a filly answered. "Correct!" Cheerilee responded. "Now, clouds aremade for the purpose of..... *BRRRRRING!!!* It was the bell. Signaling lunch. "Ok class," Cheerilee said after the bell, "time for lunch. So line up in an orderly fashion, and head to the cafeteria." Things were uneventful at lunch. Ponies eating and talking, ponies resting, hoping to get some sleep before class starts up again, and the occasional food throw between friends. Nothing out of the norm. *BRRRRRING!!!* "Ok students!" Cheerilee called as she poked her head in the door frame. "Time for our final lesson for today!" The students started piling in, and in front was a giant cardboard rainbow. "You owe me ten bits." a yellow coat filly said to a blue coat colt, who promptly grumbled. The students all filed into their seats. "Rainbows..." Cheerilee began, "are sources of color in the sky." "Autumn... can you tell me what rainbows are made of?" "Sorry ma'am I can not." Autumn responded. Cheerilee pouted. "Well fine then, can somepony else tell me how they think....." "Rainbows are made from the blood of ponies!" That was not what anypony in that room was expecting. Looking over at the source of that bold claim was Diamond Tiara, who was crying, and very angry. She was staring at Autumn and Scootaloo. "Diamond Tiara!!" Cheerilee yelled, "What in Equestria makes you say that?!" "These two!!" She pointed at Autumn and Scootaloo. "They have something to do with it!! I know they do!!" With everypony worried about Diamond's sanity, they either tried to calm her down or they just sat there. Autumn got upset. "And what do you mean we 'have something to do with it'?!" "I know you are doing something with those three ponies that you took! The first day you come here, my mother's gone!! So tell me, how do you not have anything to do with that?" Diamond has backed Autumn into a corner. "Diamond Tiara! Just because a new pony arrived, you don't just blame them for the disappearance of your mother!" Cheerilee screeched. "Yes I Can! And I Will!" She then screamed at the top of her lungs and bolted towards Autumn. Autumn, being a pegasus, easily dodged. "Diamond no!" Siliver Spoon yelled at her friend. Diamond stopped herself from ramming into Cheerilee's desk. Diamond then turned around and bolted towards Autumn again. He dodged again. Every other pony was in shock of the events. Diamond was not able to stop herself from running into the back wall. She dazed on the ground for a second, only a second, before she got up and saw that she wasn't going to be able to get Autumn, she then bolted towards Scootaloo. Scootaloo, was not able to get out of the way. She fell to the ground. Diamond raised a hoof and smacked it onto Scootaloo's face. "Take that you deserving waste of a pony!" Everypony was in shock at what she said. She then felt herself being lifted up from the ground by her tail and thrown into the side wall. "Don't you dare talk to Scootaloo like that EVER! Did you get that!?" Diamond was down for a while. "Oh I got that alright. BUT I DON"T CARE!" She screamed as she charged Autumn, who just flew over her. *KNOCK.KNOCK.* *CRACK* We all looked at the door that was now broken on it's side."Alright everypony!!' Said two ponies in what looks to be guard uniforms. Stop whatever you are doing and freeze" They lit their horns for emphases. Everypony froze expect for Diamond, who took the opportunity to ram Autumn. He was not able to get out of the way. He fell to the ground with Diamond standing over him "I hope you liked...." "I said freeze!" One of the guards said as she blasted Diamond who was then encased in crystal. Who then came to me while the other one went to Scootaloo. "Are you alright?" She asked Autumn. She offered him a hoof. "Ye-yeah," he replied, accepting the hoof. "Winter," the stallion said to Winter, "this one needs to be carted off the the hospital." Then he looked over at Diamond, "and this one needs to be carted off to jail for a while." Winter nodded. "Ok Nevace, you get the paramedics while I stay here with them." Nevace nodded and galloped off. After a few minuets, the paramedics arrived and carted Scootaloo off the the hospital while Winter and Nevace carted Diamond, who was still trapped in the crystal, off the the prison where she'll stay for a week or so. And of course, Filthy Rich was not happy, either for that Diamond got herself in jail, or for what she did to get herself in jail. Cheerilee let school out early. She was worried for Scootaloo's well-being and Diamond's sanity. The other students, while happy that school was let out, they were also talking among themselves. What was this about the disappearances of several ponies that involves Autumn and Scootaloo? What did they do that made Diamond go crazy? Silver Spoon was among the crowd, she was being ask questions like, 'Did you know why Diamond did that?' 'You are her best friend, you must know why.' 'Do you know why Diamond say that Autumn and Scootaloo are being accused?' And more. Silver, of course, didn't know. Autumn quickly ran home without being noticed by any other student. He pulled some papers out of a fake tile from the floor somewhere there. and ran into the bed room to look at all the possible scenarios with details to pick the best one. Kill the ponies who know. Too many Move away Inform your manager Hah! as if! Go Incognito Possible -43 Out of the 43 outcome, he saw no good available options so he quickly rush the paper back into its hiding spot. He didn't see the last one, stapled onto the back, written on a small piece of paper. Make changes to the facility or become the new head of the factory Author's Note Wow. I never expected this much detail in this story when i first thought of and planned it out. And for a week or so, updates will be slower. sorry
Chapter 11View OnlineMade of RainbowsChapter 11*Groan* I woke to the feeling of pain throughout my entire body. I was in a bed, in a room with blinding white walls and a green-ish curtain to my left.In front of me was nurse Red Heart. "How are you feeling Scootaloo?" "Like I was knocked in the head by a bat." I responded. She nodded while looking at the chart, "Understandable, but not quite.You were actually rammed into by another filly and she punched you into unconsciousness." At that moment, what looked to be a doctor walked into the room. "Ahhh, it looks like you're awake," he said. "So doctor," I ask, "Is there a possibility that I have a concussion or something?" Taking the chart from Red Heart, he flipped through the pages, he sighed and gave it back to Red Heart, "We can't tell by just reading about it, we have to go through the procedures to check. We'll just have to wait until they're ready." And at that moment, a wheelchair came into my room, "Which appears to be now. Red Heart, help Scootaloo into the chair." She nodded and pushed the chair to me and helped me onto it, the pain made her stop multiple times before I was actually able to get into it. As we moved out the door, I expected nothing to happened. "Scootaloo's in the hospital?!" I yelled a Cheerilee, who cringed a little. "Calm down Rainbow Dash," she said while rubbing an ear, "she is completely fine." "Right right." I don't want to see her hurt by a self-entitled spoiled brat. "Do you know if she is still open to visitors?" "I think so, but I might be....." I didn't let her finished as I launched my self to the Squirt's resting hospital. Things were slow in the hospital. Nurses and doctors all performing test on me to check my sores. Sometimes, I would have to go to a different room to do some tests. I was visited by both Rainbow and Autumn, who was secretly looking at Rainbow. I didn't mind it. Pinkie came in later when the other two left. She gave me a "Get-Well-Cake". While slicing it, Pinkie uncovered what looked like an 'S'. There were more letters, but that was the only one she cut out completely. She gave me a piece and the taste was delicious. Too bad the nurses came in and stopped me from taking another bite. Tomorrow, Nurse Red Heart told Scoots that she will be able to leave the next day at noon. How amazing. Scootaloo slept for most of the day. Her dreams were filled with images of the factory and of Autumn. Scootaloo sighed. After doing all she could in dream factory, she was bored. “Such a draft place for thy filly.” A voice said. “Princess Luna? Wha-what are you doing here?” “Well little Scootaloo, w-I periodically check the dreams of thy ponies who are not having nightmares because I could. And this place....” she looks around, “does not look like a good place.” “Now come Scootaloo, let’s get out of here.” She spotted an open door. Scootaloo gulped. “Uhh Princess Luna, I wouldn’t.....” too late. Luna open the door and was blasted with the inside of the Rainbow Factory. Though Scootaloo couldn’t see it, Luna was confused, not angry. “Hmmm.... How curious.” Luna said. “How curious that a little filly is dreaming of this.” “Well...” “No need to explain thineself.” Luna interrupted. “You are a little young for a dream like this but whatever. I was young too when we-I killed my first pony.” Now Scootaloo was confused, “What do you mean?” “Well....” Luna was interrupted by the pulsing of the world around them. “No time little one, for you are about to wake. And when you do... find a pony named Tabebuia Fire” “Wha- but wait!” All went completely dark. “Who?” I yelled to nopony in particular, “Luna...” What did she mean by she was young when she killed her first pony? I know she was alive during the Dark Ages and wasn’t there to witness it’s end. She saw the inside of the factory, and she didn't even flinch. "And who is this Tabebuia Fire pony?" Whatever. I was let out today. Heh. Right now, I am heading over to Autumn's, what else am I supposed to say about it? Nothing! When I arrived, I heard the yelling of both Autumn and Rainbow. A dispute of some kind. I opened the door to find them glowering at one another. "Uhhh what are you two doing?" I inquired. They all looked over at me and promptly looked anywhere besides at each other. I sighed. "Come on. Now that I am back and not in a hospital we need to cover lost time." "Got it!" They both saluted. Rainbow then flew out the nearby window while Autumn got to work with the machines. 10 Minutes Later Autumn "Hey Autumn, can I ask you something?" Stopping whatever I was doing, "Uhh yeah. What is it?" "Do you know a pony named...Tabebuia Fire?" "........?.....! W-wait w-who?” Author's Note Well here's a picture of that "Get-Well-Cake" Tabebuia Fire? Who in the Yellow Blazes is that?!
