//-------------------------------------------------------// Moon's change -by Light in the dark- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Return //-------------------------------------------------------// Return Luna had her head resting against the tip of Celestia's shoulder. Her cyan eyes held happiness, but also were drooping with slight tiredness. She sighed nuzzling into her sister as the chariot's smooth flight lulled her. She yawned forcing her eyes to stay open and take in the chariot's interior. The chariot was alabaster with golden trimming around the edge. "You can sleep if you want too," Celestia chuckled softly as she wrapped a wing around Luna. "We do want not to," Luna mumbled softly as she rubbed her eyes with a free hoof. "Remind me to give you some current equestrian dialect lessons soon," Celestia said with a small smile etched onto her face. Her magenta eyes glowed with a soft warmth as she looked down at Luna. "That had been appreciated," Luna smiled as she looked up at her sister. "Go to sleep Lulu. I'll speak to you when you wake up," Celestia encouraged gently as she pecked the top of Luna's head. "We are not a foal whom needs a nap," Luna grumbled as she crossed her hooves with a small pout before sighing, "but haply a bawbling one would help." She closed her eyes and submitted to her land of dreams. "You may not like being treated like one, but you are the youngest," Celestia teased as she cuddled Luna into her. "I missed you," She whispered with a tear shining in her eye. A few hours later Luna stirred slightly as she felt the sun's faltering rays over her face. She opened her eyes groaning as she rolled over, tumbling off the bed. She yelped earning the attention of Celestia who was standing on the balcony lowering the sun. Celestia turned towards her as the sun dipped below the horizon. "Lulu, would you like to raise the moon?" Celestia asked softly as she stared at the bundle of sheets that covered her sister. "Mine magic isn't firm-set enough," Luna admitted as she poked her head out of the sheets. Celestia simply nodded and raised the moon with little effort. Luna watched her with a small pout etched onto her face making Celestia roll her eyes slightly. "You complain that I treat you like a foal yet you act like one," Celestia jested as she entered the room and closed the balcony door behind her. Luna stuck her tongue out as she rolled onto her back stretching out. Celestia walked over to Luna and poked her stomach eliciting a small squeal from the younger mare. "Tia forbear," Luna giggled as she squirmed around with a smile on her face. "No I think I'll continue," Celestia teased as she tickled Luna's sides with a smile. "Please," Luna begged as she squirmed around with a soft squeak escaping her lips every once in a while. "Okay. I'll stop now, but only because we need to talk," Celestia said as she helped Luna sit up. Luna's azure mane hung around her face hiding the side of it. She blew her mane out of her face with a small huff as she cuddled into Celestia. "Didst we doth something wrong?" Luna asked hesitantly as her cyan eyes stared up at Celestia wide eyed as her ears pinned against her head with a small whimper escaping her lips. "No!" Celestia exclaimed before lowering her voice. "You did nothing wrong," she reassured gently holding Luna close to her. "So what is this about?" Luna asked as her ears perked up. "Your schedule," Celestia began, "I want to talk about what I think your best course of action to get caught up. I was thinking that I could hire a private tutor kind of like your old governess. They would help you with the current Equestrian dialect as well as history lessons in the morning. In the afternoon I would like to have you in court with me so that I can teach you some of the proper procedures as well as help you get to know some of the more trustworthy noble families." "No night court?" Luna asked her ears flicking up in shock. "No night court," Celestia sighed seeing Luna look at the ground disappointedly. "Not at first. I want to make sure you can understand what the nobles want and that they can understand you. "We...understand e'en though I never like thy resolve," Luna admitted with a small frown on her face. "You never like what I have to say," Celestia joked as she gently prodded Luna's side with a small grin as Luna giggled squirming. "You hungry?" she asked softly. "Yes we are," Luna declared quietly as her stomach growled softly. "What doth we hast?" Luna asked as she cuddled into Celestia with a small hum of happiness. "We can have anything you want," Celestia said softly with a content sigh as she rested her head on top of Luna's. "May we hast candy?" Luna questioned as she leaned back into Celestia. "How about some grilled salmon with smoked green beans?" Celestia suggested. Luna pouted as she poked Celestia's side. "Then we can have some candy or cake?" Celestia added booping the tip of Luna's nose watching as Luna's face scrunched up while her eyes crossed to stare at her nose. "We say truly to thy demands," Luna sighed as she met Celestia's gaze. "I'll go tell my unreasonable demands to the guards," Celestia teased as she got up. She opened the door stepping out into the hall giving Luna a chance to finally look around. Celestia's bed had a pure white bedsheet that had her cutie mark printed onto it. Her walls were tinged a bit more with a darker white similar to the color of eggshell. Her walls were framed with elegant paintings of ponies she knew and herself. The only actual color that seemed to pop out was the soft magenta carpet that matched her eyes. Luna hadn't realized how much time had passed until she felt a soft hoof prod her side. Luna jerked looking up to see Celestia holding two plates in her golden magic. "Did I disturb your daydreaming?" Celestia asked as she set the plates down on the floor before lowering herself to the floor. Luna shook her head as she lay down by Celestia and took her own plate. Celestia smiled knowingly as she picked up her fork. Luna took a small bite from the grilled salmon smiling as she chewed, "'tis delicious," Luna declared as she quickly ate. Celestia took her time with eating as she watched Luna from the corner of her eye. Luna finished well before Celestia and just lay her head down with a soft sigh. Celestia rubbed her back with a wing as she continued to eat. When Celestia finished she picked up their plates and teleported them away. "Dessert?" Luna asked perking up. "I decided maybe we could have a dessert picnic tomorrow instead of dessert tonight," Celestia pointed out as she stood up. Luna nodded her head eagerly. "Let's go to bed," Celestia said as she climbed onto her bed. "Where is mine room?" Luna asked quietly. "It's not quite ready," Celestia sighed, "I was thinking you wouldn't mind sharing a bed like we did when we were fillies. "Okay," Luna climbed into bed beside Celestia. She nuzzled into her older sister as Celestia flicked the lights off. Celestia pulled the covers off the floor and onto them. "We love thou," Luna mumbed as she closed her eyes. "I love you too," Celestia whispered as she pecked the top of Luna's head. Both of the sisters drifted off to sleep at different paces. Celestia fell asleep almost immediately while Luna stayed up for another hour before submitting the her tired state, drifting peacefully off to sleep.
