Meeting A New Girl

Twilight was cleaning her throne as her castle was getting many upgrades since it needed a check up anyway.

All of Twilight's friends were helping with the castle since they knew it from inside out.

This process had some problems since Twilight had alot of stuff she didnt need anymore including a lot of books and elelements of harmony diagrams.

"Hey Twilight do you want to keep your comic books?!" Rainbow Dash asked from afar. Twilight stopped cleaning.

"I have comic books?! I don't remember owning any." Twilight responded as loud as she could as she couldnt remember owning any.

"Yeah you do. You have adventure style comics and action and stuff." Rainbow Dash responded loudly.

"See if Spike wants them!" Twilight yelled.

"What?" Rainbow Dash asked. Twilight sighed.

"Oh for the love of Luna ask Spike if he wants some!" Twilight said. Twilight then continued to clean her throne.

Twilight finished and all of a sudden Celestia came walking up to her.

"Oh hey Celestia? You could have written me a letter you know? You didnt have to come all the way down here." Twilight said.

As Twilight said this Rarity took down Twilight's curtains to fix them.

"Sorry about that Twilight but I want to introduce you to your new intern! Meet Auburn." Celestia said as a shy girl made her way around Celestia. She rocked back and forth as she stood in place.

Twilight was so glad that she was getting a helper, recent days have been busy with all of the meetings Twilight had to attend. With this new girl she could make her work a lot easier.

"Hello there." Twilight said as she held out her hand.

"Shes autistic so she doesnt understand some visual queues Twilight she also cant talk." Celestia explained. Twilight felt dumb for doing that.

"Oh sorry I didnt know." Twilight said.

"Its alright. but she will be very good at her job and has excellent hearing and she knows where everything is in here." Celestia said with a grin. Twilight was relieved to hear that as she was worried she would have to help her way to much.

"Alright I'd she could do that then if I asked her to get me a cup of coffee could she get me one?" Twilight asked. Celestia nodded.

She would even add sugar in it for you." Celestia said. Twilight wanted to test this.

"Okay Auburn could you please get me a cup of coffee with some milk in it." Twilight asked. Auburn took off in two seconds and came back one minute later with a cup of coffee.

Twilight grabbed the coffee carefully with a stunned expression.

"Well that was fast." Twilight remarked she then drank it and it satisfied her. Celestia waited patently while Auburn looked away cautiously.

"Your hired." Twilight said with a shocked expression. Auburn smiled a toothy grin.

"Come on Auburn let's get your room set up. Celestia said as she left with Auburn to prepare a room for her. As Twilight drank her coffee a crash was heard throughout her castle.

"Sorry!" Pinkie yelled. Twilight sighed knowing something was messed up.

"What did you do this time!?" Twilight called out.

"Uh...I dont think you want to know just let me deal with it!" Pinkie said. Twilight decided to do just that as it sounded pretty bad.

As the cleaning continued throughout the day old stuff was thrown out and a section was cleaned out in order to hold all of Twilight' s astronomy materials.

Auburn's room was set up near the entrance in a newly built corridor. The elements of harmony got their own chamber in order to be placed they could be easy to get. The place would never be broken into either as high security measures were placed in the room.

After all the renovations Twilight and her friends had a dinner together with Auburn. Twilights friends talked among themselves while Twilight showed Auburn some of her photos of her and her friends since Auburn had shown an interest in it after seeing it.

After dinner Twilight's friends went home after a very busy day while Spike fell asleep on one of the pillows in the closet after cleaning it.

Twilight looked over at Auburn who was writing down Twilight's schedule for tomorrow as she finished Twilight spoke.

"I want to show you something is that okay?" Twilight asked the girl. Auburn smiled and tried to cheer. Twilight giggled and let Auburn to the roof of her castle. As Auburn smiled happily at all the stars Twilight spoke to her.

"It was reported that the star Serine was to go supernova tonight. People say you will be able to see it with your own eyes." Twilight said.

Auburn clapped her hands and Twilight giggled.

"Your going to have to be a bit patient though it's not supposed to happen until an hour from now. Why dont we sit down?" Twilight said.

Auburn smiled and sat by Twilight as they waited for the event. As they waited Twilight decided to ask Auburn some questions.

"Where did you live before coming to Ponyville?" Twilight asked with a smile. Auburn smiled and signed that she used to live in Cloudsdale.

"Do you like it here? I know Ponyville isnt as interesting as the rest of Equestria but Ponyville will grow on you." Twilight said Auburn stared in confusion for a few seconds but then nodded her head.

"Great! I was hoping you would get a good impression of this town." Twilight said as she was relieved to hear this. Auburn smiled at her and then Twilight wanted to know one more thing.

"Have you heard of me?" Twilight asked. Auburn signed that she has heard about her and has wanted to meet her and now that she was she was happy.

"That's great! Trust me you'll love it here...Auburn I promise to treat you with respect just like I would treat anybody else. You are a very wonderful girl and I'm glad that I had gotten to meet you. I'm going to put you to work but I'll help you as well...we will perfect your sign language to." Twilight said.

Auburn smiled widely and hugged Twilight which suprised her. Twilight then wrapped her arms around her and hugged her as well.

Twilight felt so happy and so did Auburn soon Twilight saw a spark in the night sky

"Auburn look!" Twilight exclaimed as she looked at the sky Auburn pulled away from the hug and looked up as well and they both saw Serine expand in a beautiful array of colors.

Auburn gasped silently as she was mesmerised by the beautiful light in the sky. It was breathtaking.

Soon it ended and once it did Auburn and Twilight smiled at eachother.

"I'm glad I got to show you that. The next supernova transition will happen in five million years...that's what the calculations say anyway.

Auburn was fascinated by what Twilight was saying. She smiled at Twilight and said thank you in sign language. Twilight smiled and looked back at the entrance and decided to get to bed.

"Come on let's go to sleep. We've got a busy tomorrow. I'll tell you whats on my schedule for tomorrow okay?" Twilight asked.

Auburn smiled and signed that she understood and they both went to bed.

Twilight was glad that she had gotten to meet Auburn. She couldn't wait to spend some more time with her while Auburn couldnt wait to start working for Twilight.

It had been a chaotic but good day.
