Storm Clouds in the Sunlight
Epilogue
Previous Chapter“Where are we going? Your apartment is that way.” Twilight pointed in the direction opposite in which Sunset was facing.
“I never said we were going to my place.”
“You said we were going to spend the week together...”
“I did and we are. You just assumed it was going to be at my place.”
“Are... are you kidnapping me?”
“Maybe... if you want.”
The red light they were at turned green and, with the roar of the motorcycle drowning out all other noise, Twilight decided to remain silent.
It had been a long season of changes. With high school graduation now far behind them, the girls had gone their separate ways in pursuit of their careers. Though they sought to keep in contact as much as possible.
With Twilight now home for summer break, Sunset had suggested that they steal away for a week—just the two of them.
At first, Twilight was apprehensive. Summer was now the only time they could all be together, and girls wanted to have as much time with each other as they could. With their first year of postsecondary complete, there was much to go on about.
Sunset, though, proved to be quite the planner. Somehow, she managed to pick a week that the other girls just happened to be busy as well.
Still then, Twilight had another problem. Sunset never mentioned exactly what she had in mind. Her only instructions were to "pack for a week". Ever-control-freak Twilight insisted Sunset tell her her plans, but the other girl remained button-lipped.
After a while, Twilight stopped caring about where they were going. All she knew was, wherever Sunset was driving to, she was taking scenic route.
As the mid-summer landscape flew past them, Twilight was content to have her arms wrapped around her girlfriend; the cool air whipped around them; their bodies pressed warmly together on the motorbike. Twilight leaned her head into Sunset's back and wished the ride would never end.
Unfortunately, it did, and Twilight found herself in the portico of a very elegant building.
She removed her bike helmet. “Sunset, where are we?”
Sunset pointed to the hotel sign bolted to the stone veneer facade and playfully mocked: “You can't read?” She walked over to hand her bike keys to the valet, though there was a slight hesitation on her part. She surveyed the young man and wondered if he'd even ridden a bicycle before.
Thankfully, he saw her trepidation. “Don't worry, Miss.” he said in a gentle voice, “I'll just walk it back there.”
Sunset smiled in gratitude and made sure to give him a hefty tip.
“I can... I just don't believe it.” Twilight gasped a giggle, “You know how expensive this place is? How can you even afford...?”
Sunset let out a chuckle. She handed their bags to the bellhop and pulled Twilight in for a kiss. “Just shut up and come on.”
Twilight gawked in the lobby while Sunset checked them in. She had only been here twice before herself, both times with her mother on one of her book conventions. Only once had they spent the night.
With a gentle tug from Sunset, Twilight followed the bellhop up to their suite. He opened the room for them and moved their bags inside.
Twilight was the first to walk in and take a look around. The room was quite large. The curtains and windows were open, revealing the reflection of sunset over the ocean. Twilight stood on the balcony and closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath of the warm, salty air. Returning to the room, she noted the interior lighting was soft-dimmed, adding an intimate, sensual feeling. There was a large bed with some red dots littered on it the comforter and around it on the floor. Upon closer inspection, she saw they were rose petals. Her heart leapt as she turned around with a gasp.
“Sunset!”
“Surprised?” Sunset smiled, gently closing the door.
"A... Ba... Well... Yes!"
Sunset's smile widened at Twilight's sputter. “Told you I wanted to make it special.”
“But... Are you...? Are you sure?”
“As sure as sure.” She rubbed the back of her neck, “That is, if you are. I don't want to rush you into anyth—”
She was silenced by arms wrapping around her neck and Twilight's lips pressed upon hers. It had been a short kiss, no more than a peck, but those few seconds, in Sunset's mind were an eternity. It sent shockwaves to her brain, melting it and reaking havoc on her systems. Her breathing was short and quick; her heart pounded within her breast. She was glad Twilight was holding her, for she was sure she had lost all motor control.
She licked her lips, savoring the lingering taste of Twilight. She opened her mouth, but only turned to a wide grin when she saw Twilight was doing the same.
Composing herself, Sunset quickly turned and dug through her suitcase. “Here,” she pulled out a paper shopping bag and handed it Twilight, “I got you a little something to wear for dinner. Why don't you change and I'll see if the food's ready. Unless,” she gave a sly smile, “you want to jump straight to dessert?”
“No,” Twilight giggled sheepishly, “I was too wrapped up in getting ready, I missed lunch. So, now, I'm super hungry.”
Sunset let out a devious chuckle as she picked up the hotel phone and watched Twilight make a run for the bathroom.
Twilight sprinted into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She leaned against it and closed her eyes, clutching her hands and package to her chest, wishing to still her racing heart. She wouldn't just yet give Sunset the satisfaction of seeing her blush and giddy as schoolgirl. She examined at the parcel Sunset had given her. Instantly, she could see it was from Rarity's boutique. Her mind only wondered what it could be.
“On it's way?” Sunset confirmed with the restaurant staff on the line. “That's great!... No, you're completely fine. We're just getting settled... Okay, see ya in a bit... Thanks, you too!” Sunset was just about to hang up the phone when Twilight emerged from the bathroom.
“Well?” She leaned a hand against the doorway, illuminated from behind by the bathroom light, allowing Sunset to get a well-lit view. The bathroom light outlined her form, highlighting every curve and giving her a heavenly glow. Within the bag, Twilight had found a short, simple, but elegant black cocktail dress. It hugged tightly to her form, promoting and accentuating her curves. It was expertly cut to conceal, but also gently reveal all the right areas. Though her glasses remained on, she let her hair down, allowing her long hair to frame her shoulders.
To her own surprise, Twilight enjoyed flaunting her body in this manner. Nor did it seem unnatural to be exposing so much skin. She gave sultry gaze as she twirled slightly, allowing Sunset a good view from multiple angles.
Sunset dropped the handset.
Twilight let out a giggle as Sunset fumbled to return the receiver to the hook. She brought her neatly-folded clothes out of the bathroom and placed them next to her suitcase. Sunset followed her silently with her her eyes.
“My,” Twilight said, sultrily. She put a hand on her hip, relishing the redness growing in Sunset's face. “Rarity must know her stuff, if this has gotten you this speechless.”
“I didn't go to Rarity” Sunset struggled to say. She moved to adjust her collar, only to realize she had removed her riding jacket and was wearing a low-cut shirt.
“Oh?” Twilight quickly reverted to her usual, adorkable, self. “But... I thought...?”
“It's from the boutique she works for, yes, but I went a day she wasn't working. I explained to her boss I couldn't have her knowing. (You know how she is when she's got a juicy secret). Don't worry, I ensured that she got the commission.”
Twilight nodded. “Good plan. Couldn't have her ruin the surprise. Suppose she knows by now.”
“Perhaps... Though, not much left to imagination when you say you're going for a week alone with your girlfriend.”
Twilight rolled her eyes and giggled. “Especially for Rainbow Dash. Though, I certainly wasn't thinking this.”
"I... It felt like the right time."
Twilight stuck out her tongue. "Took you long enough!"
"Hey," Sunset mock scolded, "you said you would move at my pace." Her playful scowl was wiped away by Twilight's lips.
"And I'm glad I did." She gave a wide smile. Anything to hide the exhilaration building within her. She wasn't lying. The time she and Sunset had taken to rebuild their relationship without the physical had made the reveal of these moments all the more relishing.
“So,” she shifted, “you gonna change?”
“What?” Sunset was snapped from a trance of her own, “Oh, I'm gonna wait for the food first.” There was a knock on the door. “And there it is!” She leapt from the writing desk and bolted for the door, nearly tripping over her feet. A moment later, she rolled in a cart. Twilight caught a whiff of the delicious aroma steaming from beneath the plate covers. Undoubtedly, most were vegetarian.
“Okay,” Sunset rubbed her palms together. She surveyed the table, making sure everything was perfect. Satisfied, she grabbed her own boutique bag and made a mad dash to the bathroom. “You can start on the hors d'oeurvers. I won't be long.”
Twilight looked over the table. As expected, it was mostly vegetarian. However, she did notice some seafood. The hors d'oeuvers included a bit of smoked salmon and caviar, while the entree contained a side dish of steamed mussels.
A slight grin crossed her lips. The table was incomplete.
Sunset had forgotten to light the candles.
She grabbed a nearby matchbook, smiling as the candles' light illuminated the food.
Deserving of a reward, she took a little taste of the caviar on a cracker and noticed the drink served with the meal. She lifted the bottle from the ice bucket. “Is this... wine?” she said, aloud.
“De-alcoholized” Sunset replied through the bathroom door, “So, technically, it's non-alcoholic, but still tastes like the real stuff—somewhat. That's the one downside of this side of the portal. You know, in Equestria, I could walk in and purchase a wagon-load of alcohol, and no one would bat an eye. Granted, they may wonder why I'm buying so much...but you know what I mean: no ID check, or anything...” She emerged from the bathroom. “Well? I can't expect to receive the same reaction as you.”
Twilight turned to see her lover in the doorway. Sunset had on a similar outfit, but, instead of black, it was a deep red. A similar redness came to Twilight's face and a gasp escaped her throat. If not for the deep growl in the pit of her stomach, she would have reversed her initial stance and insisted on forgoing dinner in favor of dessert.
“Eh,” Sunset smiled with a shrug, “I'll take it.” She approached Twilight and took the bottle from her hands. “Better give me this before you drop it.” She uncorked the bottle and poured out the liquid into two wine glasses. Setting them on the table, Sunset pulled out a chair for Twilight.
Pushing in Twilight's chair, Sunset caught a whiff of lavender. She leaned forward and sniffed Twilight's hair. Then moved to her neck. “Mmm...” she mused, “You put on perfume.”
Twilight turned and stole a kiss. “Like it?”
Sunset licked her lips, the taste of sweet lip balm transferred from the kiss. She took her seat next to Twilight and grabbed her napkin. “It's not all I like.”
With a clink of the glasses, and a taste of the wine, they began their dinner.
They ate in silence, though neither could take their eyes off the other. Through their gazes, they engaged in deep, quiet convetsation.
Twilight ruined it, however, letting out a chuckle as Sunset took a bite of steamed mussels. "I don't think I'll ever get over you being a pescetarian."
"I've been one since your cousin's wedding."
"But ponies don't eat meat."
“You're right, we don't. But, seeing how you and your family liked it, I decided to give it a try.”
Twilight let out a slight shiver as she remembered the event. The wedding dinner had included oysters on a half shell. Having never eaten it before, Twilight decided try one. Her conclusion was “Never again”.
Though, she wasn't the only one that day to have a seafood mishap. "As I recall," she said, slyly, "It wasn't entirely your decision."
Sunset nearly choked on her food in her laughter.
It was true, the non-vegetarian option was not her first choice. Through an honest mix up, Sunset had been given the regular meal by mistake.
Unfortunately, the error went unnoticed until she found herself with a mouthful of trout. Though, to everyone's surprise, including her own, Sunset found she rather liked it.
“Doesn't that go against your no-meat thing?” Twilight asked.
Sunset shrugged. “I primarily have an objection to eating four-legged land animals because, well, I guess I am one, but I also had many interactions with other similar animals, or animal-like beasts, in Equestria. Fish, not so much.” She let out a light laugh. “I wouldn't have lasted this long at my sushi job otherwise.”
“I thought it was just because they're paying you under the table...”
“That, too.” She took a bite of a salmon hors d'oeurver. “Plus, fish is said to be healthier for you. Seeing as I can't afford to get sick over here, might as well be careful with what I eat.”
“Why have I never seen you eat it when we're with the girls?”
Sunset smirked. “Good seafood is expensive. If you check my pantry, you'll find cans of cheap tuna and sardines. I also don't know how to properly cook it, so I generally eat it cold in salads. Also, being that Fluttershy is vegan, I try to not eat it when we're out with the girls.”
“Really? I didn't know that. I thought she was just a vegetarian.”
“Nope. Actually, she's soft vegan. Of course, she wouldn't say anything—so, not a word of this to the others. She appreciates you girls limiting your meat consumption around her. But, she doesn't want to become a burden. Besides, milk and eggs aren't as big as an abomination as flesh. Hence, she'll tolerate the times we have pizza, or, any sort of dairy. You never noticed? Pay attention next time we order food at the food court, or something.” She took a sip of her drink. “I worry about her, though.”
“Worry?”
“She's just so tiny and frail-looking. I just worry that she's not getting all the nutrients these forms need.” She gestured to their bodies. “It wouldn't be such a big deal as a pony. Our nutrient needs are different. Actually, the Fluttershy in Equestria appears to be of a healthier weight than the one here.”
“You talked to her about it?”
“No. I confided in Rainbow, being they're childhood friends and all. But, she told me not to worry. Fluttershy has always had a very slim physique and been perfectly healthy. I guess she's just one of those people...”
Twilight smiled and leaned her head upon Sunset's shoulder. “You're such a great big sister to the girls.”
“Guess that's what I get for being the oldest...”
Twilight was puzzled for a moment. “Right, ” she said, “ages between here and Equestria don't quite line up.
"You know, I've never asked you: How did you handle hanging around all those teenagers?”
“Honestly?” Sunset raised her eyebrows, “I wanted to strangle half of them. How about you, Miss Prep? How did you cope going from high academic standards to public school's sub-par?”
Twilight giggled. “They were just lucky I completed all my gen-ed requirements years ago and was only taking classes for fun.” Her smile faded. A twinge of sadness was in her voice. “Do you miss Equestria?”
“I suppose. It is where I lived most my life. But then, you often miss the places you've lived.”
“I wouldn't know. I've lived my whole life in the same house. And moving into a dorm is not the same as moving out.”
“Well, what about Crystal Prep? It was practically a second home to you. Is there nothing from there you have fond memories of? Perhaps, even miss?”
“Well," Twilight tapped her chin, "I guess there was my lab. And, they have an exceptional library catalog. Then, there is the late Nineteenth Century architecture--”
“Okay,” Sunset stopped her, “clearly, you missed some things.”
“Yeah,” Twilight gave a chuckle, “I guess you're right.” There was a brief silence. “Um, Sunset?”
“Yes?”
Twilight shifted in her seat. "There's something I've been meaning to ask you."
Sunset remained quiet, but gave a visual cue to continue.
“What are your plans? Now that we've graduated? ...and I'm off at school?”
Sunset fiddled with her food, her face sullen. “Why you ask?”
“The girls mentioned something that you spoke about once. They said that you were thinking of going back to Equestria.”
Sunset set down her cutlery a sigh. “Twilight,” she hesitated, “you know I can't stay in this world indefinitely. At some point, I will need to return to Equestria. I have no history, no documentation whatsoever. I can't apply for federal grants, or scholarships. So, college is almost of the question—unless I find one that's really cheap, or dishonest. Even if I don't go to school, what do I do? I'll need to have a job and there aren't many job opportunities here for someone without a degree or past. Principal Celestia has offered me a job in the cafeteria, but...”
Twilight raised an eyebrow as Sunset suddenly turned to the dramatic.
“I was the protege of the ruler of Equestria, Princess of the Day, Raiser of the Sun! And you put me in a filthy, commoner's school cafeteria?” Her scowl gave way to a grin as she couldn't hold back her laughter any longer. How she enjoyed poking at bit of fun at her old self.
“Don't get me wrong,” she said, a bit more seriously, “to some, I'm sure it's a very rewarding career. It's just...”
“...not really your thing” smiled Twilight, giving Sunset's hand a squeeze. “I know. You crave adventure. So, you're just going to leave? Just like that?”
“More like move residences. I'm still working it out with Princess Twilight. Yes, I would live in Equestria, but all my friends are here. I would come over to visit, like Princess Twilight does. Only, more frequently and for longer periods of time. In the long term, this makes the most sense. I can't hang around Canterlot High forever guarding the portal (which is partly why I'm considering the cafeteria job)—but I can do it better from the Equestrian side.
“Anyway, with my geode, I'm now bound in some way to this world. I can't leave it forever.”
“But,” Twilight looked sadly at her plate, “you are thinking about it.”
“Hang on!” Sunset yelped. She grabbed Twilight's hands and held them tightly. “This was all mostly before... before I had you. And, yes, when I thought I'd lost you. Like my geode, you're what keeps me anchored to this world. And, I would never wish to weigh it as long as you are here.” She wiped a thumb over Twilight's cheek, brushing away her tears. “Besides, we're talking two to three years out, at least. You and the girls'll be deep in your studies by then, or well into your careers. I have a little money saved, so I can still continue living here for a while.”
Twilight leaned into Sunset's palm, savoring the caress. “Sunset, what if—and I'm not saying that it will or won't—but, what if, one day, we decide that we want to spend the rest of our lives together? Would you still return to Equestria?”
Sunset kissed the tender hands in hers and placed them over her heart, making sure that Twilight could feel every movement within. “If building a life together is what it turns out to be, then I will do everything I can to make sure that I stay here. If it meant all my days began and ended with you by my side, then I could think of nothing better than to live them all out here.”
Twilight hung onto the words for a moment. Tears fell from her eyes and fanned the fire that was growing within her since they arrived; and she dared not quell it. Throwing inhibition to the wind, she leaned in and pressed her lips onto Sunset's. It caught the other slightly off-guard, but she quickly melted into it and began reciprocating the advance. Their kisses grew in fervor 'till Twilight couldn't hold back any longer. She began to rise. Sunset followed, kicking the chairs out of the way; their lips never losing contact. They stumbled for a while before collapsing onto the bed.
Twilight let out a gasp as Sunset's lips left from her mouth, tracing her jaw and traveled down her neck. She could feel Sunset's hands gliding all over her body, exploring every curve and crevice. Little did Twilight realize she was doing the same. She let out a shuddered gasp as Sunset's hand found its way up her inner thigh.
Then it all stopped. Twilight opened her eyes to see Sunset with a rather confused look on her face. “What?” she breathed, propping herself on her elbows.
“It's just...” Sunset began, “I thought for sure I had purchased underwear with this.”
Twilight let out a light chuckle. She cupped Sunset's face in her hands and brought their lips back together. “Silly pony,” she whispered between kisses, “you seriously wanted to have to deal with underwear in this situation?” She moaned as Sunset's hand pushed deeper.
“I guess not.”
Twilight skillfully wiggled out of her dress. She grabbed Sunset's and, with one move, the garments were gone and on the floor.
The lovers returned to their exploring. Each wanting to savor the other with their senses. Sunset had long succumb to the effects of Twilight's perfume. It teased her all through dinner. Every time Twilight moved, it sent a gentle waft up Sunset's nose and down to her sex. She traveled Twilight's now naked body with her nose, inhaling her deeply.
Twilight's hands continued examining Sunset's lean body. She had already managed to undo Sunset's bra and moved her panties to her knees. Tactility identifying every muscle, her fingertips lightly glided across Sunset's skin. A shutter of delight rippled through Sunset's body and Twilight began to wonder what other manners of touch Sunset liked.
She was momentarily distracted when Sunset's sniffing turned to kissing. Twilight let a gasp as lips made their way to her chest as she was proceeded to be assaulted by various oral pleasures. The contact tingled her skin and Twilight audibly wished it continue. Her hands grabbed a hold of Sunset's ears and began massaging them, beginning with the edges of the outer ear and making her way towards the base. Figuring, if other animals liked it, Sunset, being a pony, might like it, too. She was perplexed when Sunset stopped moving. She looked at her lover. “Not good?” Twilight asked.
“No,” Sunset whispered with a slight smile, taking the moment to regain her breath, “it's actually very relaxing. Keep that up and you'll put me to sleep.”
“Well,” Twilight grinned, “we can't have that.” She gently pulled Sunset's ear closer to her mouth and preceded to gently nibble at the appendage. A breathed laugh escaped her lips when Sunset let out an equine snort.
Sunset quickly made with pulling off her panties there rest of the way. She would have thrown them to the ground had Twilight snatched them from her hand and held them to her nose. The nerdy girl inhaled deeply. In a single whiff, she could see all she was doing to Sunset. And she loved it. She scent of her lover's arousal further fueled her own. A fire burned in her eyes.
A smile crept across Sunset's lips. “I guess I'm not the only one turned on by scent.”
“You want to smell something?” Twilight smirked. She reached up and grabbed Sunset by the hair and gently pulled her down on top of her. Spreading her legs, she ushered her lover in. “Smell this.”
Sunset's heartbeat quickened and vision blurred as she got an exclusive view of Twilight. The sight and smell of the excitement being radiated was intoxicating, only enhancing Sunset's own. She closed her eyes and allowed the aroma to overpower her. The whole made her feel lightheaded, but she loved the thought of being drunk on Twilight. Leaning in, she brought her lips to Twilight's entrance, kissing it tenderly. Above, she heard Twilight release a shuddered breath, which only made her kiss deepen. Twilight squirmed with delight; her breathing became shallow and prolonged. Sunset began to worry that she may stop breathing all together. With a final breath, she broke away and began kissing, licking, and nibbling her way back up Twilight's body.
Twilight mouth met Sunset's with new anticipation. The sweet taste on her lips drove her to new heights she never knew. She brought out her tongue and licked Sunset's lips, lapping up every drop of essence. Sure Sunset's lips were clean, Twilight plunged her tongue through Sunset's lips, surveying the oral territory. With a few swift moves, she overthrew the occupant, and claimed dominance.
Sunset reciprocated Twilight's kiss, engaging in a counterattack with her body. She rolled her hips in small circles against Twilight's, gently grinding against her. She continued the rolling motion up to their stomachs, then to their chests, pressing their naked bodies closer together. With every new movement, she wrapped her arms tighter around Twilight. Beneath, Twilight's breathing deepened. She combed and groped Sunset's hair with her fingers, moaning and groaning, pleading for more.
Sunset was quick to oblige. She moved a hand down and gentle fingers began to massage Twilight's delicate area. Her other hand remained above, surveying the landscape. She knew she was doing well, because Twilight's noises became louder and more erotic. Her body writhed, her hips moved involuntarily, moving and nudging herself against Sunset's hand, hungry for her touch.
Sunset let out a deep-throated call of her own, which sounded more like a nicker. Twilight's cries were her fuel, her master. She was a meeked pony and she responded in kind. She ended their kiss and set her mouth to working on Twilight's neck, while her other hand moved down to her own throbbing area. She rubbed herself, exhaling moans onto Twilight's soft skin. Her lips made their way to between Twilight's breasts and followed the curve till her nose touched a perked bit of flesh. She licked it with her moist tongue before enveloping her lips around it.
Twilight closed her eyes tightly as Sunset began to suckle; her hands gripped at Sunset's fiery mane, enticing her lover further. All her body was ablaze. Yet, she felt a cool breeze in her groin where Sunset's fingers danced. An odd feeling she'd never felt before. Almost as if she were opening herself up, ready to receive. “Sunset!” she gasped, “I think... I'm ready!”
Sunset seemed to understand what she said because, almost immediately, she felt something plunge into her. In an instant, a spasm came up through her body and exited her lips in a scream of pure pleasure. Sunset heard her and continued to remove and reinsert the object with more momentum, moving it around within. Twilight's breathing became erratic and deep. Her back arched as she felt her climax coming, but then it stopped. Twilight's eyes snapped open. She found Sunset's face before her. She was smiling and panting heavily.
“Don't you think you're gonna finish without me” she winked.
Twilight looked down. Sunset had re-positioned herself in such a way so that both their most intimate parts were touching. Sunset made a quick thrust of her hips and Twilight fell back onto the bed, a shudder of delight surging through her body. She heard a chuckle out of Sunset and, soon, their mouths were back together. Sunset moved her hips again and Twilight let out a muffled cry into her lover's mouth.
Another movement from Sunset and Twilight found herself bucking back an answer. Twilight felt Sunset let out a deep moan. She returned with another movement and Twilight replied. This back and forth continued, till they found their rhythm. Above, as below, their lips remained locked in a vicious battle.
Sunset had moved her hands from Twilight to the bed to support herself. So, Twilight decided to up the ante. She moved her hands to wander Sunset's chest, poking, prodding, pulling, squeezing. A grin came to her face when her efforts produced a guttural moan. Pushing Sunset further, Twilight took Sunset's breasts in her grasps and kneaded them.
Sunset let out shuddered gasp as she felt her energy and strength begin to wane. All her muscles burned, begging for release. “Twilight,” she whispered “I don't know how much longer...”
“Just...a...litt—AAH!”
That scream drove Sunset on. She quickened her pace and Twilight struggled to keep up. A fire grew within their breasts and inguinal regions. Though, Twilight wondered if friction may have had something to do with it, she didn't have much time to dwell on it. In fact, she didn't have time to dwell on anything besides Sunset. Her cries had spurred her pony further. Sunset was in full gallop and Twilight felt she was coming and coming hard.
“Sun...ny...”
“Twi...”
A final movement from Sunset and a shock surged through Twilight. Her body seized; her jaw and hands clenched down on Sunset in a silent scream.
Twilight's reaction to her orgasm was the missing piece Sunset needed to send over the edge. Her own ecstasy hitting her, Sunset let out final whinny.
Twilight laid back on the bed, panting. “That...was...”
“...amazing!” Sunset untangled their legs and rolled off Twilight, falling beside her. She paid no mind to her bleeding bottom lip.
“To borrow from Rainbow: Awesome!” she rolled onto her stomach and laid her head and shoulders over Sunset's abdomen. There, the two laid, catching their breaths and basking in the afterglow.
An ocean breeze drifted in and wafted over their sweat-slick bodies, causing the two to shiver slightly, but pleasantly.
Down from her high, Twilight turned her attention back to Sunset. She gasped when she saw the red lip. She quickly got up and attended to injury. “Sunset! I'm sorry! Are you okay?”
Sunset raised a hand to her mouth. She could feel the indentation from Twilight's teeth. “I think I'll live” she grinned, “Though, you seems like you've left your mark on me.”
"Sunset..."
"What can I say? I like a woman with bite." She saw that her girlfriend was clearly distressed. "Hey," she said softly, "It's fine, really."
Twilight wasn't convinced. Her eyes misted at the thought that she had hurt Sunset. She insisted on examining the lip and “kissing it better”. Satisfied with the prognoses, she returned to laying on Sunset's stomach, gently gliding her fingers along her girlfriend's smooth skin. “Now, spill.” she kissed, “How are you paying for all this?”
Sunset tried not to laugh from the soft kisses tickling her stomach. She raised a hand and gently kneaded Twilight between the shoulder blades. “I saved up.”
Twilight gave a playful slap. “Liar!”
“Stole it.”
“Sunset!”
Sunset smiled. “Fine, I borrowed the money.”
“From?”
“Really?”
“Who would give you this much money?” She raised onto her elbows and grabbed her lover's hand. Her eyes deep with concerned. “Please, Sunny, don't make me worry.”
Sunset let out a laugh. “It's not the mob!”
“Then, who?”
Sunset paused for a moment. “You promise not to be mad?”
Twilight laid back down. “Promise.”
Sunset continued her massage. “Your parents.”
“You're kidding!”
“Nope.”
“How?”
Sunset let out a sigh. “I told them I wanted to do something special with their daughter and that I needed them to front a few bucks.”
“More than a few...Wait...” She sat up, wide-eyed, “Do they know?”
“I wasn't exactly explicit. However, I imagine they managed to put two and two together. I doubt they would have lent me the money if they weren't okay with it.”
“Oh,” Twilight made a playful scowl, “so you need their permission?”
“No, but I figured it would a goodwill gesture to seek their blessing.” She reached out a hand and cupped a cheek. “They love you very much, Twi. And, I wanted to make it clear to them that so do I.” She traced her fingertips down her neck, “And that I respected them as much as I do you.” Her fingers continued down the collar bone and down Twilight's arm, ending with their fingers laced together. The touch made Twilight let out an audible gasp. She grabbed Sunset's wandering hand and placed it over her breast. Sunset obediently caressed the orb, making circular motions with her thumb, inciting deep breathes from Twilight.
With Sunset's hand still on her, Twilight laid back down, resting her head upon her love's breast. She listened to the steady beating of her heart. A sadness grew within her own. “Do they know about...?” She breathed sharply as Sunset found her nipple and started playing with it.
“Not unless you told them. As far as they know, you punched your V-card tonight.”
Twilight's voice choked. “I wish I had...”
“Hey now!” Sunset wrapped her free arm around Twilight and hugged her tightly. “None of that. We promised to put all that behind us.”
“I know. But still...”
“Shh...” she kissed the top of Twilight's head and deepened her embrace as she felt the tears fall from her lover's eyes. “You know,” Sunset said, once Twilight had calmed down, “I've done a little research into those ingredients of yours, among others, and, I think I may want to try some.” She felt Twilight tense. “Not all at once, and definitely not as one of your concoctions." She giggled as Twilight gave her a playful smack. "I mean: we'll just find some reputable edibles and go from there.”
Twilight hesitated. “You sure...?”
“I'm not opposed to experimenting.”
A broad smile leapt to her lips. “Really?”
“With you?” Sunset grinned, “Really.”
“Well, on that subject,” she climbed atop Sunset, straddling her stomach. She took her lover by the wrists and gently raised her arms over her head, tying them together with a pillowcase. Leaning forward, her lips teased Sunset's forehead. “Shall we try for a round two?”
