Elements of Unityby Alpha Wolf 4500ChaptersOne of ManyA New AlicornThe search begins....Armageddon part 1Armageddon part 2Three out of SevenOne of ManyChapter 1: One of many Twilight gets off of a train in the crystal Empire and began to trot to the castle. She got a letter from her brother telling her to get to him as fast as possible and that he had some brilliant news. She was happy to see her brother yet again as well as excited to see what was the brilliant news. She walked to the castle where guards and ponies were all crowding and chattering with slight excitement. Twilight couldn’t see Shining Armor, so she spread her wings and flew up to look for him. “Twily!” Shining Armor’s voice called. Twilight looked and saw him waving to her. Twilight flew over to him. “Twily, you’re never gonna believe what happened.” Shining Armor said excitedly as he gave his younger sister a hug. “What is it!?” Twilight asked, matching her brother’s excitement. “Come with me.” Shining Armor said, he started walking to a laboratory that was inside the Castle. There was a multitude of scientists at varying stations, and in the middle of the lab was a red cube that was hooked to a bunch of wires. “What….. What is that?” Twilight asked as she walked a little closer to it. “This is the Element of Courage. A powerful relic that was lost millenniums ago. It was only recently recovered by one of our archeologists.” Shining Armor explained. “This is an amazing discovery! Is that what everypony is talking about upstairs?” Twilight asked. “Yes. Everypony has ever only heard of the Elements of harmony, the fact that there other elements that represent something as great if not greater, it was bound to spark a conversation.” Shining Armor said. “What do you know about it so far?” Twilight asked. “Not much. We do know that it possesses a very powerful magic, and it’s extremely heavy.” Shining Armor asked. “How heavy?” Twilight asked. “Neither magic or hooves can pick it up.” Shining Armor said, Twilight looked at him confused. “How did you get it in there then?” Twilight asked. One of the scientists phased through Twilight, much to her confusion. “Yeah, this actually not a lab, but a 7th dimensional live video surveillance. That way we can have the feeling of being there while also not being there if something goes wrong.” Shining Armor said. “Are you sure it’s safe for them?” Twilight asked. “I’m skeptical as well, so I made sure they have a heavy security detail as a just in case anything goes wrong.” Shining Armor said. “If you don’t mind me asking, who built this? This seems a little advanced in terms science.” Twilight said. “Fancy Pants built this for us.” Shining Armor said. Twilight’s ears flopped a little. “Oh… how’s he doing?” Twilight asked. “He’s recovering well from the Fleur de lis incident.. More or less, but still….. You know, I’d rather not talk about it.” “Okay.” Shining Armor said. At the gathering, a white griffon with yellow eyes, a grey beak, and yellow lion legs was was at a drink station serving drinks to everyone stopping by to get a drink. Under the table was a purple rhinestone started blinking to get his attention. “Um…. Gustave le Grand!” The griffon called. Gustave le Grand looked at him. “I’m going on break.” Gustave le Grand nodded and went to take his spot. The griffon walked out of the castle and then out of sight. Whilst in an alley, he takes out the rhinestone and squeezes it. It breaks and materialized a hologram head. The head was a white female Changeling with yellow eyes and a braided mane. “Aras, Lance and I have arrived at the location of the hexahedron. That 7th dimensional video surveillance needs to be dealt with so we can move effectively.” The white changeling said. “Don’t worry about it Jen, I’ll make sure they don’t see a thing. Give me five minutes.” Aras said. “You have three.” Jen said and disconnected the call. Aras rolled his eyes as he put the rhinestone on the ground and snaps his talons. “You’d think that being one of the only griffons on the face of the planet to be able to use magic-” Aras made a magical circle glyph and walked through it. He was now in a blue cape as well and his eyes changed color to green. “-I’d be given just a little bit more respect.” He turns invisible and began to fly. He phases through the walls and found his way to the room. He makes a purple magic circle and places it on the ceiling. This made everything look like it was going well in the room. “Alright. Lance, Jen, do your thing.” Aras said. Jen was looking at a watch, installed into her cybernetic hooves. She had cybernetic front legs whereas the larger purple eyed Changeling next to her had cybernetic hind legs. “Three minutes are up, I hope Aras did his thing. Lance, take care of the guards.” Jen said. Lance nodded and started flying as Jen started digging under the snow. Two guards on patrol walked around the perimeter of investigation. They were talking amongst each other, whilst remaining in sight of the other guards. “So, no one’s able to lift that cube, bet you 30 bits that you can pick it up.” Guard number one said. “Nah, I’ve seen the prince try to lift it, and if he can’t, I know I can’t” Guard number two said. “Oh come on, you gotta give it a try.” “I heard Silver Mustang pulled his back out trying to pick that thing up.” “He did, he’s sure to recover, I’m sure.” “Not helping with my confidence.” “Hey, I believe in you, you just gotta use your-” The two guards heard glass breaking and turned to look at the source. “-legs.” Guard number one said. The two guards walked over to see what made that sound. They didn’t get close when Lance landed on Guard number two, shattering him. Before guard number one could react, Lance wrapped his cybernetic hoof around his neck and muffled his scream. “Shh.” He said. The next thing heard from guard number one was a snap, happening to be the guard’s neck. “Scarlet, think you can release the restrains on level 7?” A scientist stallion asked. A mare scientist, named Scarlet, walked over to the computer and moved her hooves to a lever. Before she could touch it, a magic blast hits her in the side, knocking her to the ground. The other scientist looked at her and then Jen standing on her hind hooves and looking at them. Her cybernetic hooves transformed into blades and then she lunged forward. “So, do you think that there are other elements, like there are the elements, like there are elements of harmony?” Twilight asked. “I wouldn’t be surprised if there were. If this is only one, then finding the others, however many there are, will be a groundbreaking moment for Equestrian History.” Shining Armor said. The two observed more. “I wonder how they’re doing.” Twilight said with a tilted head of curiosity. Back at the Scientist sight, all of the scientists except for Scarlet were dead from stab wounds and cuts. Scarlet was hurt and barely moving but breathing. Jen turned her hooves back normal and walked over to the hexahedron and observed it. Her horn glowed. “Aras, scientists are no longer an issue. I’m next to the hexahedron.” Jen said. “Now the hard part is getting it to Ligero.” Aras said. “No it’s not. You’ve got Density manipulation don’t you?” Jen asked. “Before you finish what I think you’re about to say, I can’t do two different manipulations at once, and once this illusion is down we’re compromised.” Aras said. “Right. I’ve got an idea.” Jen said. She walked to the hexahedron and opened a portal. She started moving the portal over the hexahedron. Scarlet pulls the lever to release the restraint which causes a magic pulse to send Jen flying into the camera used to watch the experiment. Twilight and Shining Armor were confused when the entire 7D room shut off. “Shining? What happened?” Twilight asked. “I have no idea.” Shining Armor replied. Jen recovered to look at Scarlet who was lying down next to the lever. She got up and walked over to her. “You are gonna regret that.” Jen said. She transforms her hoof into a sword and approached her. She gets close before being forced to move back as a magic blast landed at her feet. She looks at the sky and sees a changeling flying towards her. “Change of plans Aras, coming atcha.” Jen said. She makes a portal over the hexahedron and the stalachite it was attached to and sent it through the portal. “Wait wait wait!” Aras tried to warn. The hexahedron falls through the purple magic circle on the ceiling and landed in front of the two. “Welp, this had to happen at one point.” Aras said as he turned visible. He lands in front of the two. “Who’re you?” Shining Armor asked as he stood in front of Twilight defensively. “I’m-” Aras was interrupted when an explosion was heard in the distance. As Shining Armor looked in that direction, Aras sent a magic blast at him and sent him out of the wall. “Shining!” Twilight exclaimed out of concern. She turns back to look at Aras, and brings up a shield just in the nick of time. “A griffon that can use magic!?” Shining Armor slowly stood back up, bleeding from his forehead as he looked back up. He saw the hole in the wall which he was thrown from. One of the crystal guards ran to him. “Your highness! Are you okay!?” He asked. “We’re under attack! Get the civilians out of here!” Shining Armor said. The guard saluted and ran to the entrance of the castle. He and other guards started escorting everyone out. Shining Armor watched as magic beams flew out of the castle walls. He lit his horn in an attempt to teleport, but was soon knocked to the ground by a metallic kick. He looked up to see Lance walking towards him on his hind legs. “Okay, you and me.” Shining Armor said as he stood up and got ready to fight. Aras and Twilight were still battling between each other. He was sending electric blasts her way. Twilight uses her agility and magic to deflect the attacks or dodge them. She brings up a forcefield to protect herself from a strong electric blast. However, upon making contact with the shield, it was still flowing, as well as getting stronger. The forcefield wasn’t gonna hold up for long, and the intense trauma to the forcefield was causing Twilight to bleed from her nose. The forcefield cracked and Twilight closed her eyes, bracing for the worst. Suddenly, a blast hits Aras in the back. He stumbled and turned around, only to see a Changeling charge him through the wall. Aras hit the ground hard. Shining Armor and Lance were exchanging blows left and right. Shining Armor was bruised up all over his body due to the amount of kicks he suffered from Lance’s cybernetic hind legs. Lance was bleeding from his nose and had his horn was lit up. The two heard the wall break and looked to see Aras knocked to the ground by a changeling. “Let me guess one of your friends?” Shining Armor assumed. Lance sent a blast at the changeling who sent it back, knocking him back. The changeling landed on the ground and was taller and bulkier than lance, who was already taller and bulkier than Shining Armor. This changeling also had pupils like a pony. Yellow scleras and red eyes. He also had a dark red carapace as well as a red bandana around his neck. He had a thick grey mane in a large ponytail. “So, not one of your friends?” Shining Armor said. Aras launched two magic circles towards the pillars of the castle. Two of the pillars got destroyed and the castle started to fall. “Oh no! Cadance! Flurry Heart” Shining Armor exclaimed as the castle started to fall. Aras grabs Lance to take off running. The changeling flew up and used his hooves to not only stop the castle, but pushes it back into place. The holes in the pillars were still there and the intact pillars were about to collapse due to the stress. “Hey! You!” The changeling called for Shining Armor. Shining Armor looked at him. “Use your magic to hold this castle up so I can fix the pillars!” “Why would I ever help you!?” Shining Armor yelled back. “You’re kidding right!? Do you want this castle to crash down on top of the citizens!?” The changeling yelled at him. Realizing the changeling had a point, he lit up his horn and used it to hold the castle in place. The changeling flew to the pillars and observed the damages. “Hey! Will you hurry! This thing is heavy!” Shining Armor strained. The changeling stood on his hind hooves and lit his horn. The aura changes color from red to blue and a clock appeared. He goes back on all fours and the clock reversed. The two pillars started to repair. The second Shining Armor dropped the spell due to fatigue, the pillars were okay. The changeling blows on his heated horn. “Well, that went better than ex-” The changeling was interrupted when Shining Armor and a bunch of guards surrounded him, armed. “Stay where you are changeling!” One guard said. “One: My name is Bandit. Two: Are you serious?” The changeling asked. “We’re locking you up, do not resist.” Another guard said. “Wow you are serious and apparently completely dense. Whatever, just throw me in the brig or dungeon already. You’ll find out how foolish you’re being, locking up an ally.” Bandit said as he allowed himself to get chained up. Twilight and Cadance walked out to see the guards escort Bandit into the castle. Cadance, who was holding Flurry Heart with caution. Cadance’s jaw nearly dropped at the height of the changeling, who was as tall as Princess Luna. “Sh-Shining Armor?” Cadance said. “Cadance, are you and Flurry okay?” Shining Armor asked. “We’re fine. What happened?” Cadance asked. “I’ll explain later. Right now, I have some questions to ask this guy.” Shining Armor said as he watched the Changeling get escorted to the dungeons. Twilight watches as well, tilting her head at him. She was actually curious about this Changeling, especially due to him saving her life. Back at ponyville, in Sweet Apple Acres, Big Macintosh was in the house enjoying some food. He was there with Apple Bloom, who was eating with him. Apple Bloom picked up one of the apple slices and through it at him playfully. Big Macintosh playfully glared at her and threw it back. The two share a little laugh before hearing a crash sound come from the barn, as if something crashed into it, disturbing the two of them. “What was that?” Apple Bloom asked. “I don’t know. Stay here.” Big Macintosh said. Apple Bloom nodded and Big Macintosh walked out of the house, walking to the barn. He saw a massive hole in the roof and approached the door. He opens it and looked inside. In a newly made crater, there was a blue gem that was glowing constantly. Big Macintosh looked at it with caution and curiosity. “Whoa.” He said. A New AlicornChapter 3: A New Alicorn Octavia was walking through the Everfree forest as she made her way to Zecora’s hut. On her back was a Changeling Colt wearing a red hoodie with blue sleeves, purple eyes and wings along with a dark red carapace and a grey mane in a ponytail. This young changeling was named Chad, and was the younger brother of Bandit. “What do you plan to do for the weekend?” Octavia asked. “That all depends on if Bandit comes back this weekend.” Chad said. He watches the trees as they approached the hut. “Well, while this day is still young, why don’t we help Zecora with a little project?” Octavia asked. “What kind of project?” Chad asked. “Something about making a fortune telling cauldron.” Octavia said. Chad nodded happily as they approached the hut. Octavia knocked on the door and Zecora soon answered. “Chad and Octavia, what a pleasant surprise. I’m happy to see you before my eyes.” “Hi Zecora. Octavia said that you want us to help with an experiment. “I need assistance, this is in fact true. I’m glad you can help me with this issue.” Zecora said. “I’m willing to help.” Chad said with a smile. “Let’s get started.” Octavia said. After about thirty minutes, Chad was carrying a bottle with a blue liquid inside and gave it to Zecora. “The last ingredient until it’s finally done. And soon it begins, the true fun.” Zecora said. “So, how does his work?” Chad asked. “Put a piece of your mane and ask it a question. You should see the future in the cauldron, at least that’s the book says.” Octavia said. Chad nodded with understanding. He walked over to look in the cauldron. “Okay, mind if I give it a try?” Chad asked. “If it’s okay with Zecora.” Octavia said. “If it is the future you want to see, that is quite alright with me.” Zecora replied. Chad smiled and pulled out a strand of his mane and put it in the cauldron. “Cauldron cauldron, don’t make me feel stupor, show what is ahead in the future.” Chad said with a smile. “I know now is a bad time, but he didn’t have to rhyme.” Zecora said to Octavia. Chad facepalmed whilst blushing from embarrassment. Chad looked into the cauldron and saw what looked like a destroyed city. Chad looked confused, making Zecora and Octavia worried as they couldn’t see it. “Chad, what’s wrong? What do you see?” Octavia said. “It looks like….. It looks like a country in Zebrica.” Chad said. “It looks…… in bad shape.” “It shows only to you what the future will be. Please reveal, what more do you see.” Zecora said. “It….. I looks like a lot of dust. Black dust.” Chad said. He looked closer, but it all stopped. “That….. That was it.” Zecora and Octavia look at each other and then back at Chad. “Black Dust?” They both asked. “Are you sure this’ll work Shining Armor?” Cadance asked. “Not in the slightest, but it’s a lot better than keeping it here.” Shining Armor said. “I remember it getting sent here through a portal, so if we can use portals to transport it, we can get it to a safer location.” “I wasn’t talking about how we were sending it, I was referring to where we were sending it to.” Cadance said. “Twilight and her friends are the only ones so far who know about it the location. And if we can trust the changeling-” “Bandit.” Cadance deadpanned. “If we can trust Bandit, which I don’t, then the location won’t be revealed to any untrustworthy creatures.” Shining armor said. “You know, Shining, I understand you’re skeptical about Bandit, due to him being a changeling, but, he did save ours lives. Not just ours but many in the Crystal Empire.” Cadance brought up. “It could all just be a ruse. What if he’s here take away the Crystal heart, or worse, Flurry Heart?” Shining Armor asked. “Shining Armor. Take a moment and think. He was able to keep this castle from falling, had the magic to undo the damage in seconds, and willingly allowed himself to be arrested so not to lead to further misunderstanding. On top of that, he was raised by Celestia.” Cadance pointed out. Shining Armor opened his mouth, but closed it. “Okay….. I see your point.” Shining Armor said. His horn started blinking. “Okay, we’re ready Shining.” Twilight’s voices said. “Okay, making the portal.” Shining Armor said. He creates the portal under the red hexahedron and Twilight makes one on the other side. The hexahedron falls through the portal and lands at the base of the tree of harmony. “It worked!” Twilight said as she clapped her hooves together. Bandit, who was sitting next to her smiled at this. “Okay. Step two.” Bandit said. He used his magic to put a barrier around it. “That should keep it safe for now.” “What is that?” Twilight asked. “It’s a tracker dispel. Keeps Ligero from being able to track its power.” Bandit said. Twilight nodded in understanding. “So, the other elements, how are we gonna be able to find them?” Twilight asked. “That’s gonna be difficult, due to the fact that only those who embody the elements will be able to locate them. Kind of like your elements of harmony.” Bandit answered. “You know about the elements of Harmony?” Twilight asked with a stunned expression. “Honesty, Loyalty, Kindness, Generosity, Laughter and Magic. They’re quite similar to the Elements of Unity.” Bandit said. “They are?” “Yeah. Humility and Generosity, Allegiance and Loyalty, Wisdom and Honesty, Optimism and Kindness, and Magic and Alchemy. Determination and Courage aren’t counterparts of Laughter, so they’re unique in a way.” Bandit explained. Twilight was writing all of this down. “So they’re similar, yet they stand out. This is truly amazing. Why haven’t the books said anything about them?” “They’re too powerful. Artifacts that offer a lot of power tend to get pursued by those with less than wholesome intentions. Primarily the reason they’re so hard to find, even for those who aren’t with Ill intentions.” Bandit said. “There’s gotta be a way to track down the elements easier.” Twilight said. “Maybe with a summoning map.” Bandit said. Twilight wrote that down before actually hearing what he said. “A summoning map?” Twilight asked. “From how you said that, I’m gonna guess you have something similar?” Bandit asked. “Yes! The Cutie map has a bunch of locations in equestria that me and my friends get summons to.” “Okay, one: It’s my friends and I. Two: That’s perfect. If I can use my magic on the Cutie map to reveal the locations of the Elements-” “We can find ways to put them in safe places and keep them out of reach of Ligero and his associates.” She added as she clapped her hooves. “Perfect. Let’s get to it.” Bandit said. They both trotted to the entrance and started flying. “By the way, you said you have a little brother?” “He was briefly mentioned by Celestia and Yeah. Chad.” Bandit said as he and Twilight flew two the castle. Fancy placed a chest piece on Soarin. Once he had it on, Nanotech activated and Soarin was covered in metal armor with the exception of his head. He started to move around and get used to the feeling. “That Nanotech sure is impressive.” Spitfire said. “It requires years and years of practice and studies in order to create anything close to what I have.” Fancy pants said. “When did you get a degree in Nanotechnology?” Spitfire asked. “Last week.” “And when did you begin taking Nanotechnology?” “Last week.” Fancy Pants said. “You said this was a E.M.P.S? Right?” Soarin asked. “Easily Modifiable Prototype Suit. Very expensive to make, cost me a fortune. Because I was feeling so generous, I am handing it over to the property of the Wonderbolts.” Fancy Pants said as he walked over and grabbed another wine bottle. “How does this thing work?” Soarin asked. “Everything you need to know about the suit is on-” Fancy Pants picked up a thick manual and placed it on the table. “-is on this Manual.” Spitfire flipped through a few pages and then looked at Soarin. “What do you say Soarin? Ready to put this to the test?” Spitfire asked. “Ready as Always.” Soarin said. “Alright. Head back to Wonderbolt headquarters. I’ll meet you there.” Spitfire said. Soarin looked at Fancy Pants, then at Spitfire and saluted. He trotted out the door. “Look, Fancy Pants. I know you’re going through some tough times; what happened with Fleur de Lis, I’m truly sorry.” Spitfire said. Fancy Pants took the top off his wine. “Don’t reactivate the security system on your way out.” Fancy said. Spitfire gave him a look of grieve before making a reluctant walk to the door. Once she was gone, Fancy Pants sent his wine bottle into the wall. “Sir? Is everything okay?” An automated female voice asked. Fancy Pants went silent for a moment. “Yeah. Just needed to get that out of my system.” Fancy Pants said as he rubbed his head. “Machina, activate Mark VII. Initiate safety protocol code Gamma.” “Right away sir.” Machina replied. An iron suit attaches itself to Fancy Pants and covered all but the face. Big Macintosh and Starlight were in the barn. Starlight had a bunch of open books in the barn and was reading the last one. “Find anything?” Big Macintosh asked. “No. The closest thing to this and how it works is the Alicorn Amulet.” Starlight answered. “I remember that.” Big Macintosh said. She looked at him. “You do?” “Eeyup. Trixie used it here in Pony-” “Oh right, she told me about that. I completely forgot about that.” Starlight indirectly interrupted. “Which means, if someone puts it on, the magic could transfer onto them.” Big Macintosh hypothesized. Starlight then looked at Big Mac. He looked back at her and read the look on her face. “Oh no. I’m not putting that harness on.” “You’re the only one that could pick it up. You pretty much have to.” Starlight replied. Big Macintosh groaned and looked at the harness. “Okay. Fine.” Big Macintosh said. He picks the harness up and looked at it. He closed his eyes and put it on. There was a flash of white light, causing Starlight to close his eyes. Applejack was trotting back to the barn, having gotten word that something crashed into the barn. She saw from a distance, a flash of white light. “What in tarnation?” Applejack asked out loud as she started trotting faster. Some of the animals were going insane. Starlight uncovers her eyes as the light dims. She dropped her jaw from the sight. Big Macintosh was transformed into an alicorn. His mane and tail were as gold as the harness. Big Macintosh didn’t notice until he saw Starlight Glimmer’s face. “What? What’s the matter?” He asked. He noticed that he felt heavier. Starlight used her magic to show him a mirror reflection of him. Big Macintosh looked and his pupils progressively shrunk as he processed what the harness did to him. He was about to scream. “Don’t freak out!” Starlight silently yelled. Big Mac kept the screaming face, but no sound came out. “Big Mac! What happened over here!? Applejack’s voice yelled. “Shit! Big Mac take it off!” She yelled quietly. “I can’t! It ain’t coming off!” Big Mac quiet yelled back, making numerous attempts to take the harness off. Unaware that his panic was keeping him from taking it off correctly. “Big Mac!” Applejack called. She opened the barn door. Starlight turned around and waved her hooves in panic. “Applejack! I can explain!” She yelled. “Starlight? What are you doing here? Where’s Big Mac?” Applejack asked. “He’s right-” She looked behind her, and to her surprise, Big Macintosh was nowhere to be seen. “Um…. will be right back.” Applejack raised an eyebrow at this. “Yeah. He went to get some supplies to fix the barn.” Starlight covered up. Her nervous smile and her sweat was not on her side. “What crashed through the-” “Meteor.” “Uh huh, and all the books? Why are all these books here?” “Big Mac and I are starting a book club. Yeah that’s it. My apology for my first impressions.” Starlight said. A long pause falls between the two. “If Big Mac needs help, tell him I’m at the castle.” Applejack said as she walked off. The second she was out of sight, Starlight frantically looked around. “Big Mac! Where are you?” She exclaimed. “I never moved. I’m in the same spot.” Big Mac said. “I don’t remember where you were standing.” Starlight said. Not even a second later, she bumped into an invisible Big Macintosh. “How are you invisible?” “I was gonna ask you that. Help me turn visible!” Big Macintosh exclaimed. “Hold on. Give me a second.” Starlight said. She prepares a spell, hit Big Mac with it, only for it to deflect and hit her back. Briefly stunning her. “What happened? Did it work?” Big Macintosh asked. Starlight shook her head to compose herself. “It…. it didn’t work.” Starlight said. “Maybe this’ll work.” Big Mac said. He turned visible as he took the Harness off. He put it back on, and one white flash later was an Alicorn once more. “This….. This could be interesting.” Starlight said. “You think?” Big Macintosh asked. “We’re going to need some more magic books on this.” Starlight said. Bandit and Twilight were in the castle and walked over to the Cutie map. Then, he sparked up his horn. “Ready?” Bandit asked. “Ready.” Twilight said. Bandit started to blast the cutie map. The room was shaking as the map was slowly expanding. His horn changed colors multiple times and his nose slowly bled. After a few minutes, the map was bigger and glowing. Twilight looked with wide excited eyes. “It worked!” Twilight said. Bandit blew his smoking horn to cool it off. “That’s the first time I used that spell. It hurt.” Bandit said as he wiped his nose. Twilight looked at the map and observed it. “Now, I guess we wait until they show up on the map.” Twilight said. “It shouldn’t be long. Hopefully, Ligero hasn’t found one of them yet.” Bandit said. They heard something drop. They look towards the door and saw Rarity and Rainbow Dash with dropped jaws. “These two aren’t gonna throw me in a cell are they?” Bandit asked. Author's Note Hope you enjoyed. Next chapter will start introducing a lot more. See you next chapter. The search begins....Chapter 4: The search begins… Silver Flare and Ligero walked out of the now burning underground city. “I searched high and low. The Element of Allegiance is nowhere to be found.” Silver said. “It seems someone has made off with it. I can still feel its energy in the atmosphere.” Ligero said. He looked at Silver Flare. “It won’t be hard to find with no barrier. Once it’s only in one spot, we move.” “Want Aras and I to move once it does?” “No, You two head to Neighpon for the element of Optimism to help the hippogriff twins. I’ll search for the others in-” Ligero stopped when both of them felt a wave of magical energy. A strong one. Ligero smirked from this. “Seems like the Element of Humility has chosen its victim.” Silver Flare said. “Paradox has work to do.” Ligero said. “Girls. I know how this looks, but let me explain.” Twilight started. Rarity sent a magic blast his way. Bandit brought up a shield. “Why does no one listen further than let me explain?” Bandit asked. Rainbow Dash flew over and started punching his shield. “Twilight, please stop your friends before I use the freezing spell.” “Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash!” She calls. Rainbow Dash kept punching the shield. “Ms. Dash, can you please stop? You’re gonna hurt your hooves.” Bandit warned. She ignored him and kept punching. Twilight grabs her with her magic to keep her still. “Hey! What gives!?” She exclaimed. “Rainbow Dash! Bandit is not a bad Changeling. He’s friendly.” Twilight said. “With a name like Bandit, I find that hard to believe.” Rarity said as she readied her horn for another blast. “That…. That actually stung a little.” Bandit said. “I know my kind doesn’t have the best rep but I take pride in the name I have.” “Rarity. Please listen. He’s trying to help us.” Twilight said. “Help us? What do we need help with if you don’t mind me asking.” Rarity asked. “Keeping the elements of unity out of the hooves of-” “Talons.” Bandit corrected. “Out of the talons of a tyrant.” Twilight corrected without missing a beat. “Elements of Unity?” Rarity asked. The room went silent for a second. Starlight snuck her way into the Castle and trotted to the books. She started grabbing books on both magic and aerodynamics. She turned around and saw Applejack standing behind her. She rears as this startled her, causing her to drop the books. “Ap-Applejack. Hi. I almost forgot you were here.” She said nervously. Applejack had tea in her hooves. “Whatcha doing?” Applejack asked. “Oh you know….. Getting some more books for the book club.” Starlight said. Applejack took a sip of her tea. “Interesting.” Applejack said. She walked towards Starlight, much to her nervousness. “What do you need?” Starlight asked. “What’s going on between you and my brother? You’re not exactly acting like it’s just a book club. Something’s going on between you two and I would like to know.” At this point, Starlight started sweating bullets. “Um… There’s nothing between us… we just… Um.. er…” Starlight stuttered. Rainbow Dash ran into the room. “Applejack. You gotta come and see this.” Rainbow Dash said. Applejack was distracted by this, letting Starlight grab the books and teleport away. Starlight teleported back to the barn and saw a bunch of hay bales floating around. “What the hay?” She asked. “I sneezed.” Big Macintosh said from the hole in the roof, peeking down at her. “How did you get up there?” She asked. “I sneezed…. Twice.” He said. She leviated a book on basic magic for him. Applejack trotted into the map room and widened her eyes at how the map had expanded. “What in tarnation?” She asked. Then she saw Bandit and stood defensively. “He’s not here to hurt us.” Rarity said. Bandit gave a wave before looking at the map. “What-” Applejack tried to say. “It’s a map to find the Elements of Unity.” Rainbow Dash interrupted. “What are-” “They’re elements used to defeat a dangerous pony named Ligero.” Twilight interrupted. “Who is-?” “A tyrant manifestation of light.” Rarity interrupted. “And who is-” “His name is Bandit.” Twilight said. Bandit tapped Twilight to get her attention. She looks at the map and all of the elements popped up and were floating around the areas on the map. “Are those?” Twilight started to ask. “Eeyup.” Bandit answered. Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Applejack looked at the map. “They’re all over. Zebrica. Neighpon. Appaloosa.” Rarity said. Applejack looked at the one close to the barn. She narrowed her eyes and then widened them. “Hey, which element is a blue rhombus gemstone?” Applejack asked. “That would be the Element of Humility.” Bandit answered. Applejack then ran out of the room. Bandit looked at her and then at Twilight. “I’ll go with her.” Twilight said as she walked off to follow her. Octavia walked through the doors of her home, Chad following behind. He looked as Octavia closed the door. “Have you heard from Bandit yet?” Octavia asked. “Hasn’t called yet.” Chad answered. Octavia poured herself and Chad a glass of milk. “About what I saw, in the cauldron……” Chad started. “You said it was Black Dust, right?” Octavia asked. “Yes. It wasn’t natural….. That was obvious, but, in a since that someone caused it.” Chad said as he drank the milk he was given. “Zecora looked worried before we left. I’m thinking she’s gonna leave the Everfree for a while.” Octavia said. Chad flopped his ears. “Don’t feel bad, it’s not your fault.” Chad nodded and smiled a little. He drank the rest of his milk and put it in the sink. He turned the faucet on. “Oh, don’t worry about that. I’ll get the dishes.” Octavia said. Chad nodded and walked to his room. She started cleaning the dishes. She then hears a window open. She runs to Chad’s room and saw he was nowhere to be found. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” Back at the barn, Starlight and Big Macintosh had fixed the barn. Starlight and Big Macintosh were now reading the magic books, only for Big Macintosh to notice Applejack running their way. “Starlight! Here comes Applejack!” He silently exclaimed. He takes off his harness and throws it to the side. He transformed back to an Earth Pony. Starlight pulled hay bales on it. And the two jumped into reading position. Applejack walked into the barn, only to see Big Macintosh and Starlight ‘reading’. “Oh, hey sis. Did you want to-” “Where is it?” Applejack interrupted. “Where is what?” Big Macintosh tried to play dumb. “Don’t play stupid Big Mac. Where is it?” Applejack asked as she started to look around. Starlight and Big Macintosh look at each other worried. “I’m certain that we don’t-” Starlight started. “Blue rhombus gemstone.” Applejack described. “How did you-” Big Macintosh started to say. Applejack glares at him. He pointed to her left. Applejack looks to her left and moves the hale bales and say the harness. “That explains why your harness is off.” Applejack said. She tries to pick it up. “Applejack, what’s the-” A bonesnap was heard, causing Big Macintosh and Starlight to flinch and Twilight went wide eyed. Applejack let out a shrill scream. “Welp, we found two of them, at the expense of Applejack’s back.” Twilight said as she pointed at Big Macintosh, who held it in his left hoof. Applejack was resting on the couch that was moved in the room with the map, Starlight placing Ice on her back. “Probably would have been nice to warn me that it was impossible to pick up.” Applejack said. “One: It’s not impossible to pick up, your brother is holding it. Two: You ran out the room before I could explain further.” Bandit pointed out. “Can you please explain what that thing is and does?” Applejack asked. “That’s the Element of Humility. It’s known for attaching itself to a weapon that only those who are worthy will be able to wield, I guess it made an acception by attaching itself to your brother’s yolk. As for what it does, it’s pretty obvious what it does, It gives those who wear it immense power.” Bandit explained. “That explains why he turned into an Alicorn when he put it on.” Starlight said with a surprised tone. “He what!?” Everyone but Bandit, Big Mac and Starlight exclaimed. Big Macintosh put it on, and just like that, he was turned into an Alicorn. “Oh…. My…. Celestia!” Applejack exclaimed. Big Macintosh smiled nervously. “His dream became a reality.” Rarity said, remembering back to when Tantabus attack. “I don’t think I’m ready for this though. I don’t know the first thing about flying or magic.” Big Macintosh said. “I can help you with the magic.” Starlight volunteered. “I can teach you everything I know about flying.” Rainbow Dash piped up. Big Macintosh gulped a little from nervousness. “I’d start now. Training, what’s your name?” Bandit asked Big Mac. “Big Macintosh.” “Big Macintosh how to use the element in his favor would be a good way to protect it.” Bandit said. “Let’s go Big Mac.” Starlight said as she walked out of the room. Big Mac and Rainbow Dash followed. “Are you sure that leaving Big Mac with Starlight is a good idea?” Applejack asked. “Still holding that grudge from when she made him talk and he wouldn’t shut up for three days?” Rarity asked. “Kind of.” Applejack said. “Talked in his sleep every night. Kept the animals and the rest of us awake. We had to tape his mouth closed, which backfired completely.” Applejack explained. “I’m sure they’ll make amends.” Twilight said. She pauses for a moment. “Hopefully.” “Hooves crossed. Wait…. I’ve only met four of you. Where are the other two?” Bandit asked. “Pinkie’s visiting her family at her old Rockfarm home. And Fluttershy’s at her cottage.” Rarity said. “Oh.” Bandit said as he nodded in understanding. “So, what’s our first stop?” Twilight asked. “Ligero will try to go for the one that’s farthest from my current location. So my best bet is to head to Neighpon.” Bandit said. “I’m gonna come with you.” Twilight volunteered. “Thanks. I could use the company. Before we leave, I have to check on Chad.” Bandit said. “Who’s Chad?” Applejack asked. “My little brother.” Bandit answered, he showed them a picture. “Aw, he is so Adorable.” Twilight said with a smile. “Glad you think so.” Bandit said, He put the picture away and used his horn to call Octavia’s Cell. “Bandit, the one voice I didn’t want to hear at this moment.” Octavia said. “He lives with Octavia?” Rarity asked from surprise. “What did Chad do?” Bandit asked, cracking the code. “He climbed out the window, without a doubt going after Zecora.” Octavia said. “Why would he do that?” Bandit asked. “Zecora made a cauldron that showed the future, and ended up seeing a destroyed country in Zebrica covered in Black Dust.” “Black Dust? That’s strange. What are you gonna do?” “I’m going to stop him, if he’s already on that train then I’ll go with him. Make sure he doesn’t get hurt.” “Thanks, I will be sure to have a stern talking with him.” “I know you will. When you get done make sure you get some milk, we’re running low.” “I will, be safe. Bye.” Bandit said as he hung up. “Okay, let’s go.” “How is Chad?” Twilight asked. “Don’t ask. I’ll try to make a portal to Neighpon. It’ll take a moment.” Bandit said as he started sparking his horn. Octavia walked out of the house with some kind of backpack on. She closes and locks the door. She trotted to the train station. She watched as the train started moving, with Zecora on it. “Never easy is it.” She said. She started running after it. She hopped on the tracks as the train was moving, chasing after it. Two long mechanical tentacles sprang out of the backpack and grabbed the train. It launches her forward like a slingshot and she lands on the train. Two more mechanical tentacles sprang out and grabbed part of the train behind her. She looked up and saw an approaching tunnel. She holds on to the side of the train and started shimmying towards Zecora’s car. Upon reaching her car, she taps on the window. Zecora looked at the window and did a double take from surprise. Octavia gestured to the window with one of the tentacles. Zecora opened it and Octavia climbed inside and her tentacles went back into the back pack as she stood up. “Sorry about that Zecora, I just need to check something.” Octavia said. She walked to her luggage and looked around. “I know this question is hit or miss, but might I ask what is the meaning of this?” Zecora asked. Octavia reached into one of bags and pulled Chad out, holding her in her mouth by his hoodie. Zecora gave him an unamused look on his face, as did Octavia. “Hehe… surprise.” Chad said nervously. “I’d be very grateful it’s summer vacation.” Octavia said as she put him down. Chad sat down nervously. “I’m grounded aren’t I?” Chad asked. “That is most likely, we’ll have to wait and see.” Octavia said. She noticed the rhyme and chuckled. “You’re rubbing off on me Zecora.” She said. Zecora chuckled a little. Nightfall has a occurred and the red vampire mare walked into a cave. She walked inside and used magic to light torches and walked in. There was a makeshift throne where King Sombra was sitting. “You must be King Sombra.” She said. Sombra was full of cracks and slight shatters. “Who are you and what do you want?” Sombra asked. “I am Red Huntress. I am here because I need an army.” She said. King Sombra chuckles. That chuckle turned into laughter. “An army? Why would I give you an Army?” Sombra asked after he ceased laughing. “My home was destroyed. The other creatures, killed. I need an army to kill the tyrant responsible.” Red Huntress told him. “So, you need an myriad to follow a quest for vengeance. This is the part where I ask what’s in it for me.” Sombra asked. He stood up, shards from his body coming off. “I can restore your body. Place you back to your former glory.” Red Huntress said. Sombra looked at his body, the shards falling off made him look back up at Red Huntress. “Consider it a deal.” Sombra said. Red Huntress took the Element of Allegiance and placed it onto her cloak. It started to spark. “Long live the king.” She said with a smirk. Author's Note Do you think it's a mistake that Red Huntress went to Sombra? Find out soon. Be sure to leave a comment or some feedback. With that, I'm out. Armageddon part 1Chapter 5: Armageddon part 1 Fancy Pants was in a desert like area. The Mark VII suit was using thrusters to fly through the air. “Machina, temperature status.” Fancy Pants said. “Current temperature, 182 degrees fahrenheit.” Machina said. “Yikes. Crank up the air conditioning.” Fancy Pants said. “Roger that.” Machina said. Fancy flew for a few more minutes. “Alright Machina, send in the drones.” Fancy Pants said. Two seconds later, he hears thrusters following him. “You sent them earlier didn’t you?” “I didn’t want to leave you waiting.” Machina said. Two robot ponies were seen closing in from behind him. “Touche.” Fancy Pants said as he performed an aileron roll to avoid bullets flying at him. The robot ponies pursued him with killing intent. Fancy Pants looked at a canyon like area. “Here we go. Take notes Machina.” Fancy Pants said. “Taking notes sir.” She said. Fancy Pants flew to the canyon and pulled tight turns. As the robots flew after him. They were shooting at him still, but when Fancy took a 90 degree turn, one of the robots crashed head first into the rocks. The other one stopped and flew upwards. Fancy pants looked backwards, seeing the broken robot fall to the ground. “One down.” He said. He saw in his peripheral vision, the other robot pony flying above him. Fancy Pants flipped so his back was facing the ground and blasted two repulsor beams at it, taking out the wing and causes it to crash. Fancy Pants flew into the air to look at the destroyed robots. “I’m getting better at this. Let’s clean this mess up.” Fancy Pants said. He was then shot out of the sky by a missile. He hits the ground hard and a lot of his armor flew off, leaving only his armored front hooves and an opened helmet. “There was one more.” Machina said. “I’m aware of that.” Fancy Pants said. He looked up and saw the robot launched another missile at him. Fancy used his front hooves to grab the missile. It was a struggle but he turned it around and threw it at the robot pony, blowing it up. “Anymore surprises?” Fancy Pants asked as his armor reattached back onto him. “There’s a rather strong magic reading a few miles to the west. Feel like investigating?” Machina asked. “Not now. Let’s clean up and head back, I’ve got upgrades to make.” Fancy Pants said. “Roger that sir. Initiating clean up protocol.” Machina said. “Thank you Machina. Also, remind me, am I low on wine?” Fancy asked. “Sir, I really think you should lay off of the-” “Answer the question.” Fancy said. “No, you’re not.” “Thanks for the info.” Fancy said as he started flying with the thrusters. A few days go by, Starlight and Big Macintosh were in an open field. Starlight had a stack of books in front of her before trotting to Big Macintosh. “Are you ready Big Mac?” Starlight asked. “Eeyup. Just like we practiced.” Big Macintosh said. Starlight lit up her horn. “Shields.” She said. She started blasting magic towards him. Big Macintosh brought up a shield causing the blasts to bounce off. She blasted some more, but they were blocked. They both discharged the magic. “Transfiguration.” Starlight said. She used her magic to throw plates in the air. Big Macintosh blasted towards the plates transforming them into different objects. The last one was turned into an apple. Big Macintosh grabbed the apple and started eating it. “Alright, teleportation. Think you won’t get lost this time?” Starlight asked. “Hopefully.” Big Macintosh said. Starlight started teleporting. Big Macintosh teleported with her. They went to a canyon, then teleported to a cave, teleported to canterlot, and then back to ponyville. Well, Starlight teleported back to Ponyville. Big Macintosh didn’t return to ponyville. Starlight panted a little. “Well, that was-” Starlight started to say as she turned around. She noticed Big Macintosh wasn’t there. “Not again.” She said. She ran to the cutie map to find where he was. Upon seeing he was in Mareway, she teleported there. She teleported to Big Macintosh’s location and looked for him. She looked around for him for a little bit, then she tried to call his name. “Big Macintosh?” She called. “Up here.” Big macintosh said as he waved from on top of a roof. His harness was off. “Why’d you take off your harness?” Starlight asked. Big Macintosh pointed to a sign, Starlight looks and it showed it was a sign to a museum. This is when she realized that there were a bunch of ponies were walking into the museum. “Oh.” Starlight said. Big Macintosh drops the harness to the ground and climbed down to the ground. He picked the harness back up and walked to Starlight. “You just gonna carry that around?” Starlight asked. “Hopefully I find a backpack of some sort. Me carrying it won’t bring as much attention than wearing it, considering what it does.” Big Macintosh said. “You have a point.” Starlight agreed. She looked at the museum. “Let’s find a room in the museum to teleport back to ponyville without being seen. An employee’s only room might be exactly that.” Starlight said. “Or be right in the view of the employee’s.” Big Macintosh said as they walked to the museum. “Don’t be pessimistic.” “I’m not, just being realistic.” Big Macintosh said as he opened the door and let Starlight walk inside, he follows after. Starlight walked through the museum, she looked around for anywhere private that wasn’t a bathroom. She looked behind her and saw Big Macintosh looking at a painting. “Whatcha looking at?” She asked as she walked up to him. Big Macintosh pointed at a painting. They both look at the painting of a male alicorn, with a golden mane, wielding a hammer into the air, sparking lightning into and from the air. Big Macintosh looked at the name on the painting. Gullfaxi. “Hey.” A male voice said from behind them. They both snapped around. There was a black worg with a red yin yang symbol for a cutie mark. “No need to spark a controversy, Male Alicorns were never real.” “Well, that’s a relief.” Starlight faked a sweat wipe as the worg walked away. “He seemed nice.” Big Macintosh said. “Reassuring more like. Come on, let's keep looking for a safe place to teleport.” Starlight said. She started walking and Big Macintosh followed her. As they walked, Starlight brought up conversation. “So, that Gullfaxi painting. You seemed pretty interested in it, don’t you think?” She asked. “I’ve always took an interest in Mythology. Apple Bloom loved hearing stories. Rock Hoof’s her personal favorite.” Big Macintosh replied. “Interesting. So, you like Mythology too?” Starlight said. “Eeyup. Wait, too?” Big Macintosh asked. “Little reading hobby I had when I wasn’t learning spells.” She said. She saw a door that said, Employee’s only. “Over there.” They both walk to the door. Big Macintosh looked around to make sure no one saw them, and Starlight peeked inside of the hall to make sure no employees were on the inside. “We’re clear.” They both said. They look at each other with scrunched faces and then chuckled as they walked inside. “Brace for the blinding light.” Big Macintosh said as he lifted the harness over his head as Starlight shielded her eyes. Big Macintosh put it on and went through the transformation. Once he was in his Alicorn form, an explosion was heard and the ground shook. “What the-” Big Macintosh could finish the roof was caved in, due to someone or something crashing through it. Starlight managed to teleport at the last second, Big Macintosh was not so lucky. “Not exactly a method I would’ve approved of, but effective nonetheless.” Aras said as he was hovered in the air. Silver Flare flew back up to him. “Good thing we were flying over this place when that element was activated.” Silver Flare said. “Coincidences, gotta love them.” Aras said. Big Macintosh stood up, lifting the debris off of himself. “That’s the one who woke the power of the Humility gem?” Silver Flare asked upon seeing Big Macintosh. “Seems like- wait, Humility Gem? Is that what you call it?” Aras asked. “I don’t feel like calling it the Element of Humility so I shortened it.” Silver Flare said. He snapped around and saw a large beam of magic sent his way. He brings up a small shield and blocked it. “He’s got help?” Aras asked. “Yes. I’ll deal with this, grab the gem.” Silver Flare said as he flew at Starlight’s direction. “Right.” Aras said. He flew in front of Big Macintosh. “You have something that belongs to me. Give it up and no more damage will be done.” Aras said. Big Macintosh looked at the other griffon flying away. “I’m sorry, but I’m not giving you anything. You better leave.” Big Macintosh said. Aras glared at him. “You’ve only wielded it for a couple of days. You expect me to believe you can match my power?” Aras asked. “Eenope, but I can still make sure you don’t get this element. You’ll find out I’m harder to take down than ya think.” Big Macintosh said as he got in a defensive stance. “I’ve grown impatient. That gem is mine.” Aras said. He sends out two magic blasts aimed at Big Macintosh. One hit him in the horn, the other hit the harness. Neither gave him the result Aras wanted. Once he stopped, Big Mac’s horn and the gem on his harness were blinking a golden aura. Big Macintosh decided to blast back at him, but it was much more powerful than either one of them anticipated. Aras brought up a shield, but the force of the blast sent him flying into a building. Big Macintosh’s jaw dropped from this. “That ain’t something Starlight taught me yet.” Big Macintosh said. He saw Aras flew into the air, carrying half the building he was thrown into. “Uh oh.” Big Macintosh said. His pupils shrank when Aras threw it at him. Silver Flare flew to Starlight’s location. She was on top of a building. She started blasting magic at him. He maneuvers past the blasts and makes a glyph shield as Starlight tried to blast another powerful blast at him. He divebombs towards her. She hops backwards, causing her to barely dodge the divebomb. She had a shield in front of her just in case. Silver Flare made energy circle glyphs with his talons, standing on his hind hooves. Starlight’s eyes were wide and she was shocked. “I.. I didn’t know Griffon’s could do magic.” Starlight said. “And that’ll be the the last thing you learn.” Silver Flare responded. He throws the energy circles at her. Starlight blocked one, but it completely destroyed her shield. The other one, she dodged it and it misses her by an inch. Silver Flare uses telekinesis to lift debris off of the building and launched them at Starlight. Starlight began to dodge and destroy them as they flew towards her. The last piece of debris, a steel vent, was thrown at her. She caught it and threw it back at him. Silver Flare waved his talon, causing it to fly over his head. Starlight started to blast at her once again. The cape was the one that knocked the blast into another building. “And a living cape?! Okay, this day is just getting stranger and stranger.” Starlight said. She started flying with her magic. Silver Flare flew at her and collided with her before she could get far. The building thrown at Big Macintosh crashed hard against the ground. Big Mac flew out of the wreckage with his horn lit. “That’s gonna be pretty expensive.” Big Macintosh said before looking back at Aras. He snapped his fingers and spikes began to come out of the ground. Big Macintosh moved to avoid them, maintaining to stay in the air. Aras flew at him, full speed. Big Macintosh barrel rolls and avoids him. Aras throws a projectile his way. Big Macintosh couldn’t see it, but he felt it when it pierced his wing and sent him barreling in the street. He hits the ground and looked at his wing. He saw a gash that was already starting to heal. He looked shocked but then he saw Aras’s shadow. He rolls to the right as Aras pierced something into the ground, aimed for Big Macintosh’s head. A quick observation showed that it was an invisible sword with a slight smokey effect. Big Macintosh teleported to the other side of the street. Aras threw another invisible sword at him. Big Macintosh brought up a shield and lodged it in there, barely saving his neck in a literal sense. He used his magic to pick it up. Aras charges at Big Macintosh again, this time, colliding into him, swords pressed against each other as Aras pushed him against a concrete wall. “I will have that Element if your head needs to come off with it.” Aras said. “Speaking of heads, what’s your take on head trauma?” Big Macintosh strained out. He teleported. Aras hit his talons against the wall, and turned around to look for Big Macintosh, only to turn into a flying concrete wall. This was indirectly thrown by Silver Flare. Big Macintosh saw Silver Flare chasing Starlight Glimmer. He looked at some of the broken debris and picked some of it up. Silver Flare picked up a street light with his telekinesis and was about to throw it at Starlight. This was when a concrete block clocked him in his temple, causing him to miss and then fix his gaze onto Big Macintosh. Big macintosh throws another one at him, but Silver Flare blocked it and began to fly towards him. When he got close, A portal opened in a snowy tundra. Silver Flare collided into the snow before looking back up at the portal. Starlight Glimmer landed on the ground and closed the portal. Big Macintosh looked at everything that had happened and was surprised at the damage. “Whoa… we need to tell Twilight about this.” Big Macintosh said. “I agree. Let’s get out of here first.” Starlight said. The two teleported away. Soarin was in a bunker/garage like area, using a blowtorch on his E.M.P.S. The door opens and Midnight Strike was on the other side. “Soarin.” She called, causing Soarin to drop the blowtorch from being startled. “Don’t do that, I’m not trying to burn myself.” Soarin said. “Soarin, Spitfire wants to know if you’re ready to use the suit, something’s come up and she needs to know if you’re ready for action.” Midnight said. “Just finished the last upgrade, what’s wrong?” Soarin asked. “A massive attack happened in Mareway and there have been massive magic energy readings around the world.” Midnight said. Soarin looked at Midnight and then his modified suit. “What are the locations?” Soarin asked. “Ponyville, Zebrica, Neighpon, and Appaloosa. Mareway was recently attacked.” Midnight said. “I’ll head to Neighpon.” Soarin said. The suit attached itself to Soarin, covering Soarin’s body. “That is still the coolest thing I’ve seen in forever.” Midnight said. Soarin lifted the helmet and smirked. “Coolest thing I’ve had the pleasure of putting on. Tell Spitfire that I’ll update when I’m in Neighpon.” Soarin said as he walked out of the door and flapped his metallic wings. “Anything else?” Midnight asked. “Yes, can you see if Rainbow Dash will be available thursday night?” Soarin asked as his helmet came up to show his face, which had a cheeky grin. “We’ll see.” Midnight said. Soarin winked and flew off, combining his thrusters and wings to fly at top speed. Midnight shook her head with a smirk. “Lucky.” Twilight and Bandit were in an underground tunnel walking towards the source of magic. As they walked, Twilight’s horn was blinking, receiving a call. “Hello?” She asked. “Twilight.” Starlight’s voice said, her voice sounded like she was slightly hurt. Something Twilight managed to pick up on. “Starlight? What’s wrong?” She asked. “Big Macintosh and I got attacked. We were testing some spells, teleported to Mareway by accident and we were attacked.” Starlight explained. “Do you know who attacked you?” She asked. “Two griffons that could use magic.” Starlight said. Bandit’s ears twitched and he turned to look at Twilight. “There’s another griffon that does magic?!” Twilight borderline exclaimed. “Wait, another?” Starlight asked. “Long story. Are you okay?” Twilight asked. “I’m okay, Big Macintosh took the worst of it. One of them threw a building at-” “Half a building.” Big Macintosh interrupted. “Right, half a building at Big Macintosh.” Starlight continued. “How bad does he look?” Twilight asked. “I’m fi-” “He’s not fine. He’s bruised up from head to flank. I’d be careful getting that other element, something might be after it.” Starlight warned. “Bandit already warned me about the threats, but I will make sure to be more careful. Find a way to mask the magic so it’s not giving away your location.” Twilight said. “Alright, good luck and be safe.” Starlight said. “Wait, you were looking at my-” Starlight hung up before Big Macintosh finished that sentence. “How much further until we get there?” Twilight asked. “The Element is about 200 meters away.” Bandit said. “Less than a mile. Fair enough.” Twilight said. They arrived at the location, but the Element was nowhere to be found. “W-where is it?” Twilight asked, slightly panicked upon not seeing it. Bandit lifted up to his hind hooves and then lowered his head to the ground. “It’s underground.” Bandit said. He looked at the tunnel he was in before rolling his eyes. “Under-Underground.” He said. “So we start digging?” Twilight asked. “I figure, blasting a hole down to it.” Bandit suggested. “Won’t that cost a lot in damages?” Twilight asked. “Only if I don’t fix it.” Bandit said. Twilight lit up her horn, but Bandit stopped her. She looked at him curiously. Bandit’s ears were twitching and he was looking up. “What’s wro-” Bandit pulled Twilight close and brought up a shield as the tunnel was hit hard and started to cave in, burying the two underneath the rubble. In the air was a white hippogriff with a blue eye, a fading white eye and steampunk styled mechanical wings. He was also sparking with electricity as he flew in the air. Author's Note Hope you all enjoyed this chapter and be sure to like and comment. Also, in case those are curious (or not curious, I don't care), I will have sequel stories and our heroes will have solo stories. I'm already working on chapters for: Gullfaxi Huntress The Changeling and Unbreakable Armor See you guys in the next chapter. See ya. Armageddon part 2Chapter 6: Armageddon part 2 Red Huntress was walking out of the cave where the sun was set and darkness filled the land. She looked back into the cave and Sombra, no longer shattering and cracked, walked out of the cave as well. “Well, now would be a good time to move.” Sombra said. “Move to where?” Red Huntress asked. “A larger cave, so I can build your army.” Sombra said. “I’d build it here, but the cave has a bunch of tight corners and not enough room.” “Makes sense, let’s move.” Red Huntress said. She made sure the Element of Allegiance was around her next before she started flying. Sombra transformed into his shadow form and followed behind her. “So, You’re a vampire pony, right?” Sombra asked. “Yes I am.” Red Huntress said. “Are the rumors about Vampire Pon-” “Most of them are.” Red Huntress interrupted. “Really? Is the garlic rumor one of them?” Sombra asked. “No, Most of us actually love Garlic. There was one vampire pony that didn’t know he was allergic to garlic and died when his throat swelled up. Ever since, ponies believed that we had a weakness to garlic, and we went with it. Free food.” Red Huntress explained. “What about decapitation?” Sombra asked. “Sadly, no one survives that.” Red Huntress said, keeping a serious face, but flopping her ears against her head. They continued to travel until they came across a field with a nearby cave. “Hmm, This’ll do.” Sombra said as he turned physical again. “How long do you think it would take to make this army?” Red Huntress asked. “Hard to tell, but I’ll go as fast as I-” Sombra was interrupted when Jen appears suddenly behind him, stabbing him through the back. Red Huntress spawned a magical energy circle and was about to attack Jen, but Lance dropped beside her and kicked her in the torso, knocking her into the wall of the cave entrance. Jen lifted Sombra off his hooves and threw him towards the open field. Sombra stood back up with his horn lit. He launches a magic blast at her. She dodges to the left and jumped at him. He launches another blast towards her, she blocked it with her Cybernetic blade hoof and struck at him with the other one. Sombra dodges it and spawned a crystal from the ground, launching her into the air. She recovers, hovering in the air and looked down at Sombra. Sombra picked up the Crystal and threw it at her, but not before he broke off part of it to back a Scythe. Jen slices the Crystal in half before flying back down to Sombra, charging in between the sliced Crystal. Sombra and Jen clashed blades and Sombra pushed Jen back and engaged in combat with her. Red Huntress recovered to her hooves and looked up. She saw the bottom of Lance’s hoof. She was kicked into the cave, but flipped onto her hooves. “Surrender now.” She said. Lance looked at her with a glare. She made two claymore swords out of magic. “I won’t tell you a second time.” Lance jumps into the air and performed a 720 triple kick, all of them blocked by Red’s swords. She slashes multiple times, all efforts were either blocked or dodges. Lance kicked down one of the swords and attempted to roundhouse kick her, Red backflips to avoid it. She stuck both swords into the ground, held onto the handles and used them as swing, swinging herself towards him and kicking him backwards with his hind hooves. Lance flews back and rolls on the ground before recovering. He lit up his horn as he charged back at her again. She struck at him, only to hit a magic shield. Lance kicked her in the chest, and the Ellipsoid flew off her cloak. She tries to grab it, but Lance bit her hoof and threw her into a wall. He tries to run after it, but Red used magic to launch him into the ceiling before throwing him back out of the cave. Red runs and grabs the Ellipsoid. She turned around, only to see Lance waving down Jen. Jen blocked another Crystal projectile before looking at Lance. She flies over to him as he creates a portal. They jump through the portal and it closed. Red Huntress and Sombra looked at each other and then back at the ground they made the portal from. “Who were they?” Sombra asked. “Servants of Ligero.” Red Huntress answered. “They ran away a little too early into the fight. Are they that cowardly?” Sombra asked. “Not that I know of, but I’d be on guard for a while. They might have something else planned.” Red Huntress warned. Sombra nodded and walked into the cave. Chad was in a room, bouncing a ball against the ceiling above him. He was bored and displeased with just sitting on a bed. He was in Pundya, one of the villages in Zebrica and Zecora’s home village. Octavia walked into the room and looked at Chad. “Chad?” She called. He stopped and looked at her. “Yeah?” He asked. “Bored?” Octavia asked. “Yeah.” Chad said. Octavia rolled her eyes and walked over to him. “How about we take a little walk through the village while Zecora talks with her family?” Octavia suggested. Chad stood up with a smile. “Took a few days for you to suggest that but I’ll take it. I would love to see this place for real.” Chad said. Octavia smiled and walked out. Chad followed her and saw the beautiful sunsetting sky. “Come young Chad, let’s explore.” Octavia said. Chad grimaced a little. “I hate when you call me Young Chad.” Chad said with a pout. Octavia ruffled his mane and then started to walk throughout the village. The Zebras living there were welcoming and social to the two. Zecora walked over to join them. Beside her was a zebra filly walking with her. “Oh, hello Zecora, is everything okay?” Octavia asked. “I’ve been trying to get what everyone thinks, Some have said they have spotted a Sphinx.” Zecora said. “A sphinx?” Octavia asked. “Like the one from Somnambula’s story?” Chad asked. “That I am not too sure, but some rumors say it hopes to Allure.” Zecora said. “Where do they say it resides?” Octavia asked. “Avoiding it is what we should do best, searching for it would result in unrest.” “Maybe if we found the sphinx, we could prevent the black dust that happens here.” Octavia said. “Though the outcome to the future remains dry, I agree that preventing it is worth a try.” Zecora said. Octavia smiled as did Chad. “Also, who is this little filly?” Octavia asked. “This is Safi, My niece year nine. Though she likes to act like a daughter of mine.” Zecora said as she ruffled Safi’s mane. “(Are they your friends Auntie Zecora?)” Safi asked, speaking in another language. “(Yes, we’ve known Zecora a long time.)” Chad said in the same language. “You speak Swahili?” Safi asked, she was clearly impressed. “A little bit, can’t hold much of a conversation.” Chad answered. Safi giggled a little. “Shall we begin this journey?” Octavia asked. Zecora nodded and started walking along a path. Octavia trotted alongside her, with the two foals. Twilight used her magic to lift up the debris as Bandit kept the shield over them. They reach the surface and Bandit drops the shield. “What was that?” Twilight asked. “I believe the correct question is who was that?” Bandit said. He looked up and saw the hippogriff. “Okay, we have griffons, changelings and now a hippogriff?” Twilight asked. “Actually, there’s two hippogriffs. Voltage has a sister.” Bandit said. “Does Ligero have two of each species working for him?” Twilight asked as she looked Voltage. “Kinda. He is very diverse with his army. As long as you agree with his motives he’ll take you in.” Bandit said. Voltage launches a lightning strike at them. Bandit brings up a shield and blocked it. Twilight looked behind them and saw a hippogriff flying towards them. She looked like Voltage, but here wings were real instead of steampunk styled cybernetic. “I found his sister.” Twilight said. “Good luck.” Bandit told her as he flew towards Voltage. The female hippogriff snapped her talons and water from the underground pipes broke from under Twilight. She notices this and flew upwards. The hippogriff manipulated the water and blasted it at her. Twilight blasted a beam of magic at the water to push it back. She successfully does so and blasted at the Hippogriff. She moved out of the way and charges Twilight. Twilight managed to push her back and used telekinesis to throw her towards a building. Bandit was performing somersaults in the air to avoid the lightning strikes that were sent his way. The last one was a continuous beam of electricity, which Bandit brought up a shield to block. He flew into Voltage and crashed him into the ground. Voltage kicks him off and Bandit recovers and looked at him. “Do you guys always have to attack first? Isn’t there a slim chance you want to talk this out first?” Bandit said. Voltage charged up again. “I guess not.” Voltage picks up a taxi carriage and throws it at him. Bandit stops it with his magic and a lightning bolt was launched through it, hitting Bandit backwards. Bandit hits the ground and got back up. Voltage jumped into the air and started flying. “Come’re you.” Bandit said as he grabbed Voltage with his magic and threw him to the ground. He flies to him and kicks him into a building wall, leaving a hole. Bandit flies to the hole, only to get knocked into the building across the street, exiting the front door. Voltage flies out with a steel door in his talons. As Bandit was on the ground as Voltage slammed the door onto his carapace and started to electrocute the changeling, using the steel door as a charge. “My Carapace!? Seriously?!” Bandit exclaimed through strains. “My carapace is very hard to polish!” Bandit launches a fires a blast at a wall, bouncing off of it and hitting Voltage off of him. He then pins him to the ground. “You have no respect for property management.” Bandit said. Voltage kicks him off and then sparked his talons and brought down a lightning bolt, launching Bandit off of him. He flips onto his hooves. He lifted the ground in front of him, causing a strike to shatter the concrete as Bandit dodges to the left. He started using broken debris to trap Voltage. “Let’s take this out the city.” Bandit said as he picked up the concrete debris and start flying out of the city. He only got about 500 feet in the air when Voltage punched his talon out of concrete and grabbed Bandit’s leg, tugging him in another direction. Bandit was on a collision course to a school. “No no nonononono.” Bandit said before crashing into the building. Voltage got up out of the concrete debris and attempted to attack Bandit, who pinned him to the wall. “Come on Voltage, this is getting expensive.” Bandit said. Voltage started to push back against Bandit. Bandit threw him out the window and flew after him. Picking up a light pole, he swings it on top of Voltage’s head. “Batter up!” He said, slamming the light pole onto his head. Voltage attempted to get up, but upon turning around, Bandit kicked him in the face. His head smacked against the asphalt. Voltage looked back at Bandit with a cracked beak and blood leaking out of his mouth. A large storm cloud started to form in the sky directly above them. Bandit looked at the cloud before looking back at Voltage. “I’m sorry.” Bandit said. Twilight and the female hippogriff were going back and forth with magic blasts and water magic blasts. Twilight was constantly on edge due to the constant resources of water turning against her. The female hippogriff sprouted water from where Twilight was standing, sending her into the air. She recovers to hear a loud thundercrack that caused her ears to start ringing. She holds her ears in agony before looking up to the the hippogriff about to strike her. This is when the metal hoof of a suited Soarin kicked her away. The hippogriff was knocked into a building. Twilight’s hearing cleared up as she looked the armored pegasus. “Soarin?” Twilight asked from shock. Soarin lifted his helmet up to show his face. “Hey Twilight.” Soarin said. “Where’d you get that suit?” She asked. “Little gift from-” Soarin was grabbed by a large talon made of water. “Fancy Pants!” He exclaimed as he was thrown into a building. He recovers quickly, lowers his helmet and flies back at her. Two guns activating on his back, the left one started shooting machine bullets at the hippogriff, who brought up a water shield, somehow blocking the bullets. Twilight blasted at her other side with a magic beam, which was blocked, again, by a water shield. “What’s this lady’s problem Twilight?” Soarin asked, dodging water blasts from the hippogriff. “She’s a hippogriff with magic, and she came to take an element from this location for a tyrant made of light.” Twilight said. Soarin flew towards the hippogriff for a better shot. This caused the hippogriff to fly up and grab him. Twilight fires a blast at her, but the hippogriff threw Soarin at it, causing him to get hit instead. He was knocked into a building. Twilight beams a continuous blast at her. She blocks it again before grabbing a light pole and throwing it at Twilight. A missile from Soarin hits it, blasting it in three, causing an open space to allow it to move pas Twilight. She grabs the heaviest part and slammed it against the hippogriff hard enough to knock her down. Bandit’s horn was red and burning, having blocked a powerful lightning strike from Voltage. One that made a crater from one side of Neighpon to the other. Bandit looked up at Voltage as he threw another strike at him. Bandit made a circle glyph, causing it to bounce back at Voltage with the same speed. Voltage was hit and, shockingly, he was electrocuted by it and began to fall to the ground. Bandit watched has he hit the ground, shaking from being tased by his own attack. Bandit looked at this and started panting. “You use lightning as your main power, but you got electrocuted by your own attack?” Bandit asked mid pant. Voltage was still being electrocuted. Bandit shook his head and shot another beam at Voltage. This one teleported him into a jail cell of some kind. The electrocution stopped, and he looked around. He tried to spark lightning, but found his powers weren’t able to be used. “Damn.” He said as he sat down. The female hippogriff uses a water wall to press Twilight and Soarin against the buildings. She then used water to sprout up a yellow Tetrahedron from underground. “Is that the Element?” Soarin asked with a strain. “Yes!” Twilight strained out. The hippogriff made a portal and was about to walk through, but a magic blast destroyed the portal. Once the portal was destroyed, she looked and saw Bandit flying at her. She tries to counter attack, but Twilight broke free of the wall and used her magic to pull her talons down, stopping her. She dropped the Tetrahedron. Bandit used his magic to make a portal to Voltage’s cell. She falls through and the water wall restraining Soarin dropped and Soarin landed on his hooves. “Where did you teleport her?” Twilight asked. “Helheim. It’s kind of like your Tartarus, except, it’s realms away from this location.” Bandit answered. He looked at the city and saw the damage he had to fix. He let out a sigh. “Get the Element out of here, I gotta fix this.” “You’re gonna fix all of this?” Twilight asked. “Yes. If I don’t we’re gonna be the ones hated.” Bandit said. “I’ll catch up, get it out of here.” “Okay, see you soon.” Twilight said. She turned around to see that Soarin was holding the Tetrahedron. Her eyes widened a little bit before walking over to him. “Um… we’re gonna need that.” She said. “Oh, here you go.” Soarin said. He gave it to her, and as Twilight used her magic to pick it up, two things happened that surprised her. One, she was able to hold it with her magic. Two, the yellow light emitting from the tetrahedron dimmed. “What is that thing?” Soarin asked. “One of the elements of Unity. Come with me.” Twilight said as she started to fly off. Soarin soon followed her. Bandit made his magic aura go from red to blue and strained began to undo the damage. It was taking a lot out of him and was taking a while. Nightfall had occurred as Octavia, Zecora, Safi and Chad found themselves in front of a large temple door. All of them were amazed at this structure, especially Zecora. “So…. this is where the locals said the Sphinx resided?” Octavia asked. “That’s what was said. If they’re right, the sphinx is ahead.” Zecora answered. “Watch the foals, I’m gonna check it out.” Octavia said. Her mechanical tentacle claws emerged from her bag. “Be safe.” Zecora said. Octavia nodded and looked at Chad. “Stay here Chad, I mean it.” She sternly said. Chad nodded in understanding. Octavia opened the door to the temple. “Hmm, rather simple to open for a temple in the middle of nowhere.” Octavia said as she walked in. She began walking, into the temple. It got darker as she pressed on. She comes across another door and opened it, closing it behind her. This is when the room became pitch black except for a dim purple light. She looked at the light and saw a purple torus on a podium. Intrigued and curious, she walked towards the torus. As she got closer, she felt some kind of heat coming from behind her. She turned around and, just barely, she saw a giant Sphinx standing over her. Her orange-yellow eyes looked at Octavia before letting out a growl. “Uh oh.” Octavia said. Author's Note Uh oh, looks like Octavia is in trouble. What do you think will happen next? It seems like 4 of the 7 Elements are found, and Ligero's forces are failing at receiving them. Or, are they? Little note for the future, Lance's bite is a lot more than that. Hope you all enjoyed. see you in the next chapter. Three out of SevenChapter 2: Three out of Seven “So, let me get this straight.” Cadance started as they were on the other side of the cell that Bandit was in. Bandit was levitating rocks in front of himself and rotating them. “-A griffon that was able to use magic like a pony attacked you too along with a changeling with cybernetic limbs-” “There was two.” Bandit said. “Two changelings with cybernetic limbs, nearly destroyed the castle, he saves both of you and you lock him in a cell?” Cadance asked with a raised eyebrow. “Bet you anything he tries to justify it by bringing up the canterlot fiasco.” Bandit said. “Quiet you!” Shining Armor told Bandit. “My name is Bandit.” “We don’t know a thing about that Changeling.” “Like I said, my name is Bandit.” “He could be here to grab the element of Courage for all we know.” Shining Armor said. “Well, you’re not wrong.” Bandit said. “See!” Shining Armor pointed out. “You know, you could just ask me why I’m here to grab the element of Courage right? We’re on the same side after all.” Bandit said. “Like you’d tell the truth.” Shining Armor dismisses. “I think we should hear what he has to say.” Twilight said. “Thank you your majesty.” Bandit said with a bow. “Did you forget what happened in Canterlot?” Shining Armor asked. “Called it.” Bandit said. “I remember vividly, in case you forgot, I almost didn’t get to go when I found out that Cadance was replaced by Queen Chrysalis because you still thought it was her.” Twilight pointed out. “Dumbass.” Bandit said with coughs to cover it up. The other three looked at him. “So sorry, got a bit of a scratchy throat.” “How do we know that he won’t cause another invasion? He could’ve called those other two changelings for all we know.” Shining Armor said. Hoofsteps were heard by Bandit, but not the other three. “We should at least hear what he has to say.” Cadance said. “Yes, he’s a changeling, and they don’t necessarily have a good reputation with ponykind.” “Or any kind in my experience.” “But he saved our lives, and the castle. We owe him for that.” Cadance said. Shining Armor looked at the ground and then back at the cage. “Okay, fine. What is it that you have to say?” Shining Armor asked. “Well first off, Hello Celestia.” Bandit said with a bow. “Hello Bandit.” Celestia was heard saying from behind them. The three turned around and saw Celestia standing there and went wide eyed. “Celestia, you know this changeling?” Shining Armor asked. “Know him? I raised him.” Celestia said. Twilight’s jaw dropped upon hearing this. “You…… raised him?” Cadance asked. The three look at Bandit, who looks back and waves. “Everypony, meet my adopted son, Bandit.” Celestia said. Big Macintosh was still looking at the blue gem. He walked around the crater to get better angles of the gem. “Big Mac? Is everything okay?” Apple Bloom asked. Big Macintosh turned to look at her. “Apple Bloom, I told you to stay inside.” Big Macintosh said. “Sorry, but, I got scared something happened to ya. What happened here?” Apple Bloom asked. “Some kind of gem crashed through the barn. Left a pretty big hole for a tiny object.” “Really?” “Eeyup.” “Want me to call Applejack?” “Call somepony else, who knows about science. Astronomy, Cosmology or maybe even Geology more specifically.” Big Macintosh said. “Uhhhh…….” “Oh, right. Um, call Bill Neigh. He might know what this is about.” Big Macintosh said. Apple Bloom walked over to the house. “His number’s on the fridge.” “Okay.” Apple Bloom said as she walked inside and picked up the phone. Big Macintosh watched his sister walked in the house before looking back at the gem. The gem floated upwards and then planted itself onto the front of his yoke. Big Macintosh watched with widened eyes and fear as his yoke was turned golden with engraved carved lines in it. “Okay, Thank you Mr. Neigh.” Apple Bloom said. The second she hung up, she heard her older brother scream. “Okay, allow me to re-explain what I just heard. Just so I know that I heard this right.” Shining Armor said. He started to pace back and forth. “Do recap faster please, I don’t like sitting in a cell.” Bandit said. He makes a portal on the floor and a steaming mug was thrown up to him. He caught it, started drinking, finishes, tosses it back through and closed the portal. “Bandit, is you’re adopted son that you found floating in a river around 18 years ago, he has been living with you in secret until he was 13 and then he moved in with Octavia with his little brother. He’s been studying three of the most powerful types of magic since the age of 5 and mastered two of them. On top of that, he knows about the Element of Courage.” Shining Armor said. “Did I get everything?” “You missed a few small details, but yes.” Celestia said. “When were you gonna tell us this?” Twilight asked. “I was gonna tell you at Cadance and Shining Armor’s wedding, but….. Well you know what happened.” Celestia said. “Still something you shouldn’t have held from us for so long. You didn’t think to tell us at the Crystalling?” Shining Armor asked. “The news of a natural born Alicorn and the destruction of the crystal heart with nearly wiped out the entire kingdom happened on that day and you thought that telling you about me was gonna happen?” Bandit asked. “Is he always like this?” Shining Armor asked. “Only when he’s wrongly locked up.” Bandit said. “Which happens a lot more often than you think.” Celestia said. “You’ll be letting him out now I’m sure, right Shining?” “Yes of course.” Shining Armor said as he walked over to the cell. “No need to, I’ll see myself out.” Bandit said. His horn lit up and a portal was made in the bars and Bandit walked through. He was on the other side. “You could do that this whole time?” Twilight asked astonished. “Yep. I got sick being thrown in a cell by guards with memory as bad as a rhino’s sight, so this is my counter.” Bandit said. “Must’ve been annoying.” Twilight said. “It was. Now, Where’s that Hexahedron?” Bandit asked. “The what?” Shining Armor asked. “The element of courage, where is it?” Bandit asked. “Why do you want to know?” Shining Armor asked. “Maybe because I’m trying to get it in safe hooves.” Bandit said. “In safe hooves? I doubt you can place it in safe hooves.” Shining Armor said. “I know about the Element of Courage as well as the other six Elements that make up the representations of Unity.” Bandit said. “Wait, there are seven of these Elements?” “Can we please talk somewhere that isn’t a dungeon please?” Bandit asked. Fancy Pants was in his home, which was a mansion to the northwest of the Canterlot. He was in a robotics lab with a blowtorch and a welding helmet. He stops using the blowtorch and put it down. He takes the helmet off of his head and then grabbed a bottle of Merlot and started drinking it. Once he finished, he went back to work, but his horn started ringing. “Argh.” Fancy Pants answers. “Hello?” “Fancy Pants, is that you?” A female voice asked. “No, this is Mare do Well, who is this, why are you calling, and why should I care?” Fancy Pants asked. “I’m Spitfire, Captain of the Wonderbolts, I am calling because I’ve gotten word that you’ve been working on some experiments that have nearly interfered with our training exercises from time to time.” Spitfire said. She was on the phone. “I can neither confirm nor deny any knowledge of the experiments you speak of.” Fancy Pants said as he started drinking his Merlot, using his hoof this time. “Well, that’s funny, because a couple of the reports that came to me have mentioned something about witnessing the tests of Nanotechnology, A.I Technology and a bunch more technologies I haven’t had the slightest clue even existed.” Spitfire said. “Your point is?” Fancy Pants asked. “Be honest with me, what exactly are you testing?” “Just testing out advanced robotics technology. Nothing you should be too concerned about.” Fancy Pants said. He places a hoof on the counter where he was working. Metal wrapped around his front leg with a glowing circle at the end where his hoof was. At that moment, an elevator ding was heard and Fancy Pants turned around. Spitfire was on the other side of said elevator, and alongside her was Soarin, who was holding a file with his wing. Fancy Pants groaned and turned off his horn. “Have you never heard of knocking?” Fancy Pants said as the metal hoof deactivated. “And how did you get in my house?” “Soarin guessed the password to bypass the front door security. Real nice place you’ve got here.” Spitfire said. She looked to her left and saw a trash can filled with empty alcohol bottles. “Aside from the empty bottles everywhere.” Soarin said. “Why are you here?” Fancy Pants asked. Spitfire looked at Soarin and nodded. Soarin walked over and placed the file onto the table. Fancy Pants picked it up and looked inside. “Your little experiments have peeked our interests, and we have a proposition for you.” Spitfire said. Back at the Crystal Castle, Celestia, Twilight, Cadance, and Shining Armor were in the castle library watching Bandit look over the books. Shining Armor had a look of impatience on his face. “Can you hurry up?” Shining Armor asked. “Have some patience will you?” Bandit said. “What’s taking so long? If you know so about the Elements of Unity, why don’t you just tell us without the book?” “Because the book is the evidence about the Elements of Unity. You’ve already doubted me twice, so having the evidence before the explanation will be less of a headache.” Bandit said. “Well, what’s taking so long?” “The book isn’t gonna look fancy, okay? It’s made to look like a normal book, making it very hard to-” Bandit pulled out another book, This looked like a normal book, but had a Yin-Yang symbol on the front. “Oh, nevermind, found it.” Bandit placed it on the table and opened it. All the pages were blank. Shining Armor was about to comment, but Cadance beat him to it. “All of these pages are blank.” Cadance said. Bandit lit up his horn and the book illuminated and seven gems popped up in holographic form. The Red Hexahedron was the first one they saw. The others were a blue rhombus gem, an orange sphere, a yellow tetrahedron, a grey ellipsoid, a purple torus, and a black Octahedron. “Whoa.” Twilight said. “Mares and…… Gentlestallion, these are the Elements of Unity.” Bandit said. He lights up the holograms as he listed the Elements. “Humility (Blue). Determination (Orange). Optimism (Yellow). Allegiance (Grey). Wisdom (Purple). Alchemy (Black). And finally, Courage (Red).” Bandit said. “Long ago, these Elements were created and used to defeat a tyrant named Ligero. This was before I was even born.” Celestia said. “Ligero?” Cadance asked. “A manifestation of Light. Not as kind and friendly as that title suggests.” Celestia said. “Keeping a long story short, these Elements of Unity defeat Ligero, but sure enough, 15,000 years later, he’s reborn and wants revenge, with these Elements.” Bandit said. “Well how do we find them?” Shining Armor asked. “That’s the hard part. When they were created, they can only be held by those who embody the elements in order to pick them up, let alone find them.” Bandit said. “So, we need Ponies-” “Creatures.” Bandit interrupted. “Right, we need creatures that embody the Elements of Unity in order to find them. Now how are we gonna do that?” Shining Armor asked. “For certain elements, they’ll come to you, but for others,” Courage, Alchemy and Determination floated towards everyone. “You’ve gotta make an attempt to pick them up.” Shining Armor tapped his chin. Bill Neigh was making an analytical graph from a laptop that was hooked up to the gemstone, that was on the yoke, that Big Macintosh had taken off. Big Macintosh stood next to him observing the graphs. He had the stunned look on his face as he observed the work. “I’ve never seen anything like this. This is a gem that sends of a strong current of magic through your yoke.” Bill Neigh said. “Strong current? Like an electric current?” Big Macintosh said. “Precisely.” “Which means it’ll be moving throughout my yoke until it can pass through to another source, right?” “Again, correct. But I’m afraid that the science behind this is out of my knowledge. I may have a theory as to where this came from, but other than that, I’m completely lost.” Big Macintosh let out a sigh as he looked at the now golden harness. “Thanks for the help.” Big Macintosh said. Bill Neigh nodded and disconnected his tech. “Find a pony who knows a lot about magic, they might be a better help than me.” Bill Neigh said. Big Macintosh takes a seat with a sigh as Bill walked away. “Maybe I can ask Twilight whenever she gets back.” Big Macintosh said to himself. “Maybe you don’t have to wait.” A voice came from behind him. Big Macintosh turned around and saw Starlight Glimmer walking to him. In an underground city, located within the depths of equestria, fires were spread throughout the cities and screams were being heard. In the middle of the city was a castle that was destroyed from the inside. The guards were all dead, except for one. This guard was a vampire pony, wearing Lieutenants armor, and she was trying to crawl towards a weapon. “For years, you kind has remained isolated from the rest of the creatures of Equestria. Feeling as though this would protect you from the clutches of fate.” A male voice said. Approaching the lieutenant guard was a large unicorn stallion, looking similar to King Sombra. Despite the similarities, he had three major differences. One: He was much taller and bigger. Two: He was a pegasus rather than a unicorn, and three: He didn’t have front hooves, instead, he had talons similar to that of a griffon. “A hard lesson you have yet to learn, what’s done in darkness will soon come to the light.” The stallion said. The vampire pony grabs the weapon, but a magic blast from in front of her. She looks up to see a griffon with a purple cape with aura around his talons. The stallion grabs her by the hand and forced her to look up. “Where is the Element of Allegiance?” The stallion asked. The mare remained silent. The stallion spawns a sword and aims it at her neck. “You’ll, never find that Element.” She said as she spat out blood. “I won’t ask you again.” The stallion said. In one of the doors, a light red vampire mare was peeking through a crack in the door. “You live pretending to be a god, but you’ll die as a fool Ligero.” She said. The Vampire Pony in the door watches as the Lieutenant was beheaded. She covers her mouth to prevent making any noise. “Silver Flare. Find the Element of Allegiance, kill who you have to.” Ligero said. “Right away.” Silver Flare said. The vampire pony grabbed a box, put on a cloak and flew out of a window. She flies through a hole in the underground and ended up outside. The cloak she was wearing protected her from the sun. She places the box on the ground and opened the box. The grey Ellipsoid, AKA the Element of Allegiance, was in the box. She closes the box and looked at her home. “I will avenge my home.” She said as she flew off. Author's Note Chapter 2 done. One of ManyChapter 1: One of many Twilight gets off of a train in the crystal Empire and began to trot to the castle.
