The Fair Grounds

This new area contained....A series of Concession circus colored game stands located to the left and right of us, as we walked onward onto the streets.

The first concession stand to the right of us contained a cluster of large lightbulb clowns that were alerted to our presense. I tossed a clown grenade while Rarity launched a volley of gas rockets into the clowns. We were ambushed from all sides because of the commotion from a horde of more monsters. We were flanked by bloodied skulls, flamming clowns, and small flying metallic clown skulls. We merged into our defensive circular perimeter, as we unleased our weapons into the monsters.

After 15 minutes of intense skirmishing, we peered back into the right stand from where the lightbulb monsters emerged from. The first right concession game stand contained two targets that had bulleyes. The objectives of the game were placed on a stand near the left of us. If you stuck both bulleyes, you were rewarded with a crazy ball. If you missed however, the crazy ball would vanish from reality back into the clown realm. The prized crazy ball was located at the back of the stand, that was out of our reach for the time. Fluttershy and I decided to give it a shot, to aim at and strike the bullseyes simultaneously to try to win the crazy ball. I spoke some advice to Fluttershy, while I aligned my iron sights to the center mass of the target. I rested my rifle on the concession stand along with her 10/22.

"Ok Flutters...take your time. We only have one chance at striking center mass. Remember, aim small, miss small. Squeeze the trigger after you exhale...and control your breathing. We have all the time in the world to make this shot count, so take your time...." I told her to relieve some pressure from the situation.

"Ok...sweetie...." She said in return. After spending two long minutes of controlled breathing and holding steady, we squeezed off our rounds in unison. I struck the bullseye, just barely striking it off to the far left outside of the bullseye. Fluttershy hit the target dead center, as the crazy ball lowered itself from the platform.

"Woohoo! Way to go!" Cheered the group from behind us. Applejack rushed over to the crazy ball and placed it in her backpack.

"Good job sweetheart." I told Fluttershy warmly. She blushed with a response.

"Thanks sweetie..." She grinned in shyness back to me.

Parallel to the left front side of the concession game stand, stood another type of 'fun' house with a platform. We stepped onto the platform, as it lowered underneathe from our feet. The large room that we were lowered into, contained a series of cylindrical platforms, with the familiar low gravity inside the room with balloons floating all over the place. A large demonic balloon along with a translucent floating clown grunted at us. Twilight and Applejack unleashed their projectiles into the monsters. In the aftermath of the firefight, we bounced from pillar to pillar to reach another sleeping clown switch at the peak of the pillars. We regrouped onto the descending platform to be lifted up back to the fair grounds.

The next area to the right of us, contained a series of platforms with pillars emerging from a steaming pool of the ominous multi colored liquid. A demonic balloon from the far end released a series of dark energy projectiles toward us. Rarity responded with a group of rockets from her gas rocket launcher. Dash spoke up to the group.

"Hey, tall guy, see that sleeping clown switch over there?" She pointed with her hoof to the opposite side of the steaming multi colored pool. She proposed a challenge to me.

"I betcha I can fly to that switch and press it under ten seconds flat." She said boastfully. I came up with my own response.

"Go ahead, I'll time ya..." I told her and rolled my eyes, as she prepared her wings for flight.

She took off from the ground and darted in flight over to the sleeping clown switch. She pressed it with her front hoof, and sprung off from the opposite wall all the way back to us. I timed her at 8 seconds, but told her a different response just to playfully piss her off.

"Uhh....12 seconds Dash." I told her, while the girls giggled. She looked in shock over to me.

"What! I timed it at 8 seconds!" She stomped her hoof in anger, while....she thought for a minute over her seriousness over something that really didnt matter. She gave me a playful punch in the arm while saying something in response to me.

"Oh, I see what you did there." She smirked at me, while I gave her a playful brush with my hand on her mane.

The fun house to the right, contained another flashing type of 'fun' house. Perhaps it was a continuation of the previous fun house. This house contained a maze however, and without low gravity, we were forced to venture through it. The maze contained only a few monsters, with the addition of useful supplies for us, but that was about it.

The third and final fun house to the right contained a curved pathway of textured balloons, where I lead the girls inward first. As we made our way into the large room located inside the fun house, a wall slammed behind us. A horde of bloodied skulls with more smiley balloons charged at us, while I threw a grenade into the room for clearance. Applejack took care of the surviving monsters, as we all looked around inside our new enviorment.

This fun house was like a tribute to Pennywise, where one of his large gaping eyes pertruded from a wall with his own row of burning candles. An entryway was located to the left of us that we decided to venture inwards first. We walked inside the colorful walls, only to play an optical illusion with our minds once again. We stood from a second story opening back into the tribute room, which was impossible since there was no staircase or any possible way of walking into the second story opening inside the fun house. We tried our luck with another balloon textured curved hallway on the ground floor, only to appear back on the second story once again. Thankfully, the balloon textured room lead into a curved balcony, which contained a pressure floor switch.

A severed arm darted out of a dark crevase, while Applejack stomped on the arm and imploded in blood. The ground balloon textured room revealed another open wall, where we decided to investigate onward into. This lead us into another room with triangular platforms, while a few bowling pin clowns and more floating clown skulls grunted to our presense.
We took them out and climbed the triangular platfroms onto another pathway on the second story. Following this path lead us into a room with large floating clown lightbulbs with a single large demonic balloon. Twilight peppered the demons with her popcorn gun, while Dash located and pressed on a sleeping clown switch. We retraced our steps out out from the confusing illusional fun house, to finally travel into the right funhouse for the last sleeping clown switch.

The final funhouse was pretty plain, other than the face there was a large narrow blocked in maze in front of us. As we jogged into the maze in unison, we walked back into a direct pathway into the clown realm once again. Waves of smiley balloons advanced from the black abyss while bowling pin clowns bounced over towards us. Dash, Fluttershy, and I used our light weaponry for the balloon onslaught. Applejack took care of the ground bowling pin clowns with her gore grenade launcher. The small island we were on, contained a lower room with the last sleeping clown switch, with it's own tribute of burning candles.

At the end of the street containing the fairgrounds, contained a humongous circus tent. The top of the roofless tent read the sign:

The IT PIT

To the left of the entrance read a small wooden sign read:

Enter The IT PIT
All are Welcome!
Admission Price: Your Soul

We marched forward into the topless tent, as the yellow tinted sky swirled around us.....to finally meet face to face with the evil that contained Pinkie Pie........
