A Royal Greeting To Our Escort Back Home
Previous ChapterNext ChapterWe rematerialized....back onto the street from the beginning of our journey, into this god forsaken ghost town. The invisible wall barrier was now gone due to the death of Pennywise. We walked together in unison, on the long narrow pathway only to be greeted by Celestia and an escort of royal guards along our way. She strolled on the road toward us, as a group of armed humans and royal guards marched forward into the ghost town, just to make sure the area was safe and clear for the princess. Celestia stepped off from her carriage and sprinted toward us, as we all stood together from this long, exausting trip.
"My friends! All of Ponyville and Equestria were in deep worry about your departure to find Pinkie Pie. We learned about your location from a local taxi driver......Are you all safe and sound?" She asked, while she eyed us over in concern. Twilight was the first to speak up from the group.
"Yes Princess, were all safe now....." Twilight said exhaustingly. The princess remarked another statement in response.
"All seven of you, please allow me to escort you to my carriage....I can tell that you are all worn from your excruciating journey to find Pinkie Pie. I can see she is now safe." Celestia trotted in front of us and used her magic to open the carriage door. We placed all of our belongings into the storage compartments of the carriage. We huddled together on the soft, red plush elongated seats located inside over to one side of the carriage. Celestia climbed into the other side, and then pursued to speak to us.
"My friends, tell me about your journey to find Pinkie pie..." Celestia questioned, while the girls were too fatigued to respond to her. They leaned and rested their heads to the inner walls of the carriage. I spoke to the princess, recounting every little detail about our journey together. The carriage bumped on the dirt road as the ghost down vanished from our sights, as Celestia unconditionally listened to every word spoken by my mouth.
"So...these popcorn critters and clown artifacts are still with you, Ryan?" She asked curiously, while I almost completely forgot about the objects that we've placed inside the storage compartment of the carriage. I rested my body backwards onto the confortable plush, as Rarity and Fluttershy both leaned their heads on both of my shoulders. Their eyelids drifted downwards.
"Yeah, but I was thinking about donating the materials we collected from our journey to a local museum in Ponyville...To prove that our journey really existed for older and younger generations." I told her in response, as the carriage drew closer to Celestia's castle. Most of Ponyville's citizens waited for our return. Celestia thought about my proposal, and decided to make arrangements accordingly.
"I shall arrange the materials to be transported to the local museum as soon as possible. They will be displayed under a glass case with descriptions encrypted on a golden plaque. You may all rest in my castle for tonight, so that you shall not be disturbed by the journalist of Ponyville. Thank you for all that you've done for us, Ryan....For your bravery and true courage shines a blinding light in the path of darkness. Your journey will also be echted, detail by detail, into the halls of Equestrian history." She blushed over to me with a kiss on the cheek. I returned a warm hug to her.
It was a high honor, apparently, to recieve such a kiss from member of higher power in Ponyville. At this point, I could care less about social statuses. I was looking forward to a long peroid of undisturbed rest and peace of mind.
Celestia stepped out of the carriage, as a wall of royal guards blocked and controlled the citizens of ponyville from lunging towards us. Bright flashes from cameras, while crowds of humans and ponies cheered in unison as we all withdrew from the carriage to follow the princess. The wooden gates opened, as we followed the princess to a shared bedroom of supreme quality beds and plush pillows. The girls dragged their hooves into bed, while Fluttershy and I shared a bed together. She curled up to me, as I wrapped my right arm around her. She began to speak softly into my ear.
"Thank you....for saving Pinkie Pie for us.....I knew we couldn't do it without your help...." She pecked me on the cheek and kissed my lips, while I returned some affection back to her. My eyes drifted into a heavy sleep, as the whispers were no longer present to haunt me in my dreams. This was the first peaceful night of sleep that I've savored for a long time.
The next day dawned on us, as the humans and royal guards set up demolition teams around the abandoned ghost town.
Reports from the Ponyville Express and news reports told us about the outcome of the ghost town. It was demolished into smithereens, to assure no other evil influences could escape from the clown realm. The Ponyville Museum finally opened months up with our recollection of belongings. Trixie worked as the spokesperson and tour guide for the traveling visitors that ventured into the museum. We looked around inside the museum, to see an terrarium of small popcorn critters inside a heat controlled enviorment. They crawled around, squeaked and grunted from inside the terrarium. The crazy ball from my backpack stood under a square display case, as I looked inward with Fluttershy on my side.
A group of ponies rushed over to me for my autograph. Inside the group was Lyra, who bounced up and down from my hero status. She smiled and hugged me, while I talked to her and traced my hand on a sheet of paper for her; She requested akwardly instead of my autograph. She took off, giggling like a little school girl.
Life continued on peacfully in Ponyville until one day...Fluttershy asked me a question reguarding our relationship together. We sat together insider her cottage at the dinner table one evening, when her question threw me off guard.
"Um....Ryan? Will....you.....um.....Marry me?" She asked shyly while she looked away blushing.
A female, proposing to a male? What? I was dumbstuck and bewildered by the question. I returned to her with a heart warming response, not really knowing what to say.
"Fluttershy......Of coarse I will Marry you." I returned to her. She bursted with tears of joy as she kissed me. I was still bewildered by the fact....a female proposed to me, which was unheard of back on Earth. She told all of her friends about the proposal later in the month. Rarity made one of the most beautiful wedding gowns ever to be seen in Ponyville for her. We were later married inside Celestia's castle. Other than that, I'll go into more details maybe some other time in another writing.
This is my conclusion....for this has been our cumbersome journey together. Perhaps one day, evil will return to stalemate us....However, be sure that all of us will be prepared ahead of time for whatever challenges are thrown in our way.....Our journey together has renewed us all in spirit and in hope....Even if evil might attempt to dismantle us all in the very end.
But, I will leave you with this one message. If you choose to stay strong within your willpower and to choose whatever's right in the end...To live life with honorable morals to be pure and true.....you will always triumph over the influences of darkness and pure evil.....
