Written for the Equestria At War 2019 Fanfic Contest

As Changeling Panzers race across the fields and valleys of Equestria, their comrades on the Northern front are faced with the hardships of an eternal winter, a bitter and merciless enemy and a lack of supplies. Chrysalis pulls all her veteran and elite soldiers form that front and gives one General Taskmaster the seemingly impossible task to advance and take the Jewel of the Crystal Empire, however she only gives him the older Panzers with under trained conscripts and a new creation to solve both the lack of soldiers and political dissent in the Hives. Thorax is sent to one of these new 'Sraftbattalions' and witnesses the horror of the frontlines of the frozen north.
