Twilight was using her magic to fix her stairs as they had been worn down over the past few years she has had the castle for.
She wanted the stairs fixed so that nopony would fall through one because if that happened the pony would get hurt and she could get in trouble.
As she fixed the stairs she thought back to the other day where she had been invited by Applejack to go to a dance with her.
Twilight had turned her down since she had duties to take care of, she didnt need distractions to get in the way of her duties.
Applejack seemed hurt by Twilight's rejection but Twilight didnt know any way to sugar coat it a she just had to turn down her friend.
Twilight wondered if Applejack liked her romantically since it had been weird for Applejack to just ask her for no reason.
If Applejack did have feelings for her then Twilight would have to turn down Applejack if Applejack ever asked her out, she had no need for sex.
Twilight wondered why ponies made such a big deal over sex and relationships as it wasnt the most important thing in Equestria, she had no use for sex as she would rather hang out with her friends or read books.
Twilight knew that ponies would think of her as weird if she ever mentioned her views about sexuality and dating since everypony dated and had sex.
It was also weird for Applejack to ask her out as she wasnt gay or straight as she had no sexual attraction to anypony.
When Twilight had found out that she was like that she went to Nurse Redheart's office to make sure she was normal and Nurse Redheart told her not to worry as other ponies felt the same way as her.
Twilight wondered what sex felt like as she worked on her stairs, she had never had sex before but she has heard about how good it felt.
Twilight didnt care how good it felt though as she had no interest in mares or stallions.
She was not gay or straight as far as she was concerned and if she had been she would know.
She always figured that she was asexual as it seemed really likely due to how she felt and Twilight had no need for romantics or lovey dovey crap she didnt want to love anypony especially a stallion who was a dick to everypony since all stallions were dicks.
When Twilight had told her family this none of them understood and told her that they would bring her to a psychologist to figure out why she wasbt normal, unfortunately that back fired as the psychologist couldnt fix what was wrong with her.
After that Twilight's family didnt bother trying but did tell her she was unnatural and told her that she should have sex once in her lifetime so that way her mother could know that she was normal.
Fortunately though Twilight didnt obey this command and refused to have sex and to this day she never had any dick inside of her. She didnt care how many stallions were in Equestria waiting to be taken she didnt want anything to be stuck inside her in order to impregnate her. She didn't need to lick a mare's clitoris in order to get off because she had no sexual attraction.
Twilight sighed as thinking about that wasnt pleasant so she tried to focus on the task at hoof. She needed to get all of the stairs finished or the stairs would begin to annoy her from the state that they were in.
Once the stairs were all fixed Twilight say down and once she had sat down Applejack burst through the front door of her castle which startled Twilight. Twilight wondered if Applejack was going to shame her for accepting her invitation but instead Applejack said something else.
"There's been an accident!" Applejack told her. Twilight began to worry when she heard that.
"Where? Are our friends okay?" Twilight asked Applejack as she worried that her friends had gotten hurt.
"Their fine I checked on them, come on you have to see this." She said. Twilight finished up the stairs and left her castle and walked up to Applejack.
"I'm sorry about not going to the dance with you I dont have any need for relationships." Twilight said as she hoped that Applejack wasnt feeling sad over her not wanting to go.
"Your forgiven, I'm over it now so dont worry about it we have a bigger issue at hand." Applejack said to her friend.
They both left the castle as Applejack led her to a huge chasm that had opened in the town of Ponyville with ponies looking at with curiousity. Applejack and Twilight stopped walking.
"Was that chasm opened by a quake?" Twilight asked her best friend as she looked into the gaping hole.
"Yes it was, the quake lasted for about a minute there are stores and houses that are now being repaired because they were affected." Applejack explained.
Twilight couldnt believe a quake had taken place in Equestria as it was not common for quakes to take place there. Twilight was really alarmed as this was unusual.
"Does Celestia know about this? Does Luna know about this?" Twilight asked as she wondered if the royal sisters knew about the incident.
"Yes they both know. We sent Derpy to go to Canterlot and tell them since we couldnt find Rainbow Dash." Cheerilee said.
"Figures! Rainbow Dash has been occupied by helping out the weather team here. She cant be bothered by troubles like this." Twilight remarked.
After they continued to look at it a bit more Twilight patched up the missing ground with her magic and all of the ponies finally stopped caring as they had their own problems to worry about.
Twilight went back to her castle and hoped that another incident like that never happened in Equestria ever again.
