Stygian, Star Swirl, Rockhoof, and Flash Magnus are walking though the very dark forest because Flash Magnus said he found some very old caribou ruins in the strange forest. Stygian was wearing his black shirt, pants, and robe for the tip. Star Swirl was wearing his night sky robe and pointy hat for the tip. Rockhoof was wearing his viking like combat armor with his shovel strapped to his back. And finely Flash Magnus was wearing his old guard uniform from his time along with his shield on his right arm, a bow and some arrows on his back, and a sword which he got from the royal guard on his left hip.

" Are you sure that this was a good idea to do Magnus." Star Swirl said " l know that fining things before the time when the princesses made the kingdom but Equestria is in chaos Princess Luna gave herself up to stopped the war with the griffins, then Princess Cadence with her husband Shining Armor have disappeared along with Princess Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Fluttershy, both of Twilight Sparkle's mother and farther, the zebra mare Zecora who lives here, and the crystal empire's captain of the guard the bat pony mare Ruby Rose. "

" I am with Star Swirl on this one." Rockhoof said " Applejack is still out there some where and as l have fine out who made her disappeared l will tear off his head and push back down his ... "

" Alright we get it there Rockhoof. " Stygian said stopping Rockhoof's yelling. " We are looking into it even Princess Celestia order us not too."

and Meadowbrook with us."

" Those three were too busy hanging out with Princess Celestia and taking over as the new leaders of the crystal empire. " Magnus said " And besides here we are. " Then he pointed at the north west to find a very old castle big as the castle in Ponyville but made out of the purest of steel artwork making Star Swirl's, Stygian's, and Rockhoof's jaws fall flat on the ground along with some of their teeth. " l said l found some old caribou ruins didn't l." Flash Magnus said with prideful look on his face.

" Alright hot shot let's get inside. " Stygian said going inside the castle fellow by the others unaware of 8 snake like eyes watching them go inside of the castle. But the four pillars of Equestria got inside of the steel castle to fine the throne room where at the back of the throne room was a throne made out of pure stone with a imagine of a caribou king standing on a hill top with his battle axe in one hand and a lot of caribou females in harem clothing on and red collars around their necks kneeing or bowing to their master.

" This place must be at least 600 years old before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna came to Equestria and made it their kingdom. " Star Swirl said looking over the steel and stone work of the castle. " Who knows that the caribou used to live here and no pony even know about ... GAG" Star Swirl didn't finished his sentence as a arrow went through his back, through his heart, and came out his chest. After a few moments of heavy breathing the mage fell to the ground unmoving which cause Stygian and Rockhoof to see behind them to find where the arrow came from.

" Magnus what the hell are you doing. " Rockhoof yelled getting his shovel out as Flash Magnus loads a other arrow to his bow. " You just killed Star Swirl our must trusted friend why did you shot that arrow WHY"

" Because you two and Star Swirl were getting your noises where they shouldn't have been looking and now l have no choice to do this that way the future can come to be." Flash Magnus said taking arm at Rockhoof's chest.

" Future " Stygian said with a rise eye brow. " What fu... GAG."

" STYGIAN " Rockhoof yelled then he turned around to find only his friend's bottom half on the ground but then some blood fell on the ground from over Rockhoof's head and as he slowly looks up to see why. He came face to four more faces of a hydra from behind the throne with the third one having a bloody mouth. Then Rockhoof got very mad at the beast and as he was fixing to fight the creature a arrow came out of his chest making him dropped his shovel and fall down on his knees. As he was breathing his last breath he looked up to find one of the hydra's heads was looking down on him with hunger in it's eyes before falling down on the ground dead.

Two of the hydra's heads pick up the lifeless body of Rockhoof and then the other half of Stygian the same thing to Star Swirl's body and went to the shadows behind the throne. The last head was still out and looked over at Flash Magnus before reaching over to him and getting a rub at its chin. " Good boy." Flash Magnus said " Its a good thing l trained you at my break times or l will be like those three. " Then he went the weapon of ex friend and begin to fly by to the others that way he tell his other friends the news.

TWO HOURS LATER

Mist Mane, Somnambula, and Meadowbrook was crying their hearts out at Flash Magnus told them the news about he and the others was ambush by a hydra. Princess Celestia was there too as all of them was in the crystal empire's throne. Mist Mane was wearing a dark purple dress, Somnambula was wearing her egyptian clothes with her small white cloth over her head, a white skirt from her hips to her feet, and her white sleeveless shirt with transparent ribbons going around both of her arms, Meadowbrook was wearing a yellow short sleeve shirt, and a light blue skirt from her hips to her knees, and Princess Celestia was wearing one of her red sun dresses.

" Was ( sob ) was there anything you can do. " Somnambula sobbed " Anything. "

" l sorry." Flash Magnus said taking a seat next to Somnambula trying make her feel better. " But the hydra was too fast for Star Swirl's and Stygian's magic and Rockhoof's shovel didn't even breaks its scales there was nothing for me but to get away."

" But l thought that hydras was peaceful animals." Mist Mane said drying her tears with her hand.

" Me too." Meadowbrook said drying her tears with a wash cloth.

" l think sometimes that animals attack out of hunger which makes animals do the most of the kindest into the most savage of monsters." Princess Celestia said taking a seat next to Mist Mane. " But after two weeks after you came here Star Swirl made me to do something to you if something happens to him."

" What" Mist Mane asked

" This" Celestia then used her horn with a lot of magic then a beam of golden light hit Mist Mane and after a blinding light Mist Mane was young again.

" H-how " Mist Mane said unbelieving what has happened to her whole body.

" A ageing spell to make you young again a little something from Star Swirl. " Celestia said then got a hug from Mist Mane for this give. Then Meadowbrook and Somnambula begin to hug Flash Magnus unknowing what really happened in the Everfree forest or they never will know.
