Billy waited patiently just outside of the tent belonging to the white haired girl, just minutes ago, he almost caused the girl's PokePon to drown, unintentionally of course, now say Pokepon, a Fluttershy named Crecea, was watching him with a half annoyed half bored expression, the eyeshadows around her eyes was gone now after a second dunk in the water but she still looked like a goth version of the normal Fluttershy, one that was judging him no doubt.

" I say I'm sorry already, ok? I didn't know you and your trainer were there trying to catch that Pokepon, so, no hard feelings? ". Billy extended his arm so that the Fluttershy could fist bump it but instead she just huffed and turned away.

" Ugh, ok, I get it ". Billy sighed and kept quiet for a bit.

' I hope Twilie and Mac are ok, I probably should go back now, she told me she was just going to get a towel but she's taking an awful lot, besides, if I stay here for long I'm gonna catch a cold... oh no '.

As if calling his bad luck, Billy sneezed. " Oh man! Last thing I need is to get sick just a day into my journey, ok, that's it, I'm leaving now ". Billy for up and prepared to depart back to his camp when the girl inside the tent called to him.

" Not so fast! ". The zipper of the tent was pulled down and from the opening the girl walked out, she wasn't wet anymore, in fact, she wasn't wearing her bathing suit at all, she was now changed into black biker shorts, purple blouse under a stylish yellow coat, her long hair was dry and combed, her eyes were wearing the same black eyeshadows he saw on the Fluttershy.

" You dressed up? ". Billy asked in disbelief.

" Of course I did, the fact that you ask is proof that I was right, you're a little perv ". Said the girl while crossing her arms.

" That's not what I meant! You told me you were just going to-!? ".

The girl turned to the Fluttershy instead of keep hearing him. " Crecea, did he tried to peek inside while I changed? ".

The Fluttershy looked at him for a second, her expression still the same. " Shy, shy shy".

" Oh, ok, it's ok I suppose at his age is normal to be interested in an beautiful girl like me ". The girl turned to him now. " What's your name little boy? ".

" Little? You mean me? What're you talking about? You're the same high as me! ". Billy asked more annoyed by the minute.

" I mean, in the mature sense, just so you know I'm an adult already, that's why I call you like that ".

" Mature? How old are you anyway, you look older than me but not by much ".

" How dare you call me old! For your knowledge I just turned 17 like a month ago, you're the one that is freakishly tall! ".

" What?! You're not even 18? Then how can you claim to be an adult! And what part of you is mature anyway, first you accuse me of been a pervert, which I'm not, then you claim maturity, but if you are called old you get angry?! Sorry but I have enough, I apologized to your PokePon already and I apologized to you, so, that's all I can do, I'm out ". Having released his frustrations, Billy moved toward the river to jump and swim back to the other side.

" Wait! ". The white haired girl yelled startling Billy as he was about to enter in the river, he turned to her expecting more degrading comments but instead found her looking conflicted. " I, I, I was..? ". She seemed to struggle with her thoughts, mumbling incoherent things Billy couldn't hear.

" Ok, that's it! ". The girl finally said. " Ahem, it seems we got into a bad start, and I'm not one to deprive a person of second chances so, how about we start anew? Let bygones be bygones, what do you say boy? ".

Billy thought for a minute about the girl's proposal, he wasn't too happy to have his first encounter with a fellow trainer been this troublesome, but he suspected that sooner that later he would inevitably find one or two of those that were just beyond annoying, so then he decided to take this as an learning experience and get use to it.

" The name's William, Billy for short, 15 years old, I'm a novice PokePon trainer from Yurtown, nice to meet you, I guess ". Billy said nonchalantly.

The girl seemed unimpressed by his introduction, that was until he revealed his place of origin. " You, you're from Yurtown? The real Yurtown? For realsies? Oh my God! This is my lucky break! I knew I would find my way to the city sooner that later! Yes! ". The girl cheered as soo as Billy finished his introduction, leaving the boy confused.

" Did I say something good? ".

" Yurtown! You said you came from Yurtown, right? ". Billy confirmed with a nod. " Excellent! That means you can take me there! ".

" Uh? You want me to take you there? But, don't you know which way the town is? We're actually pretty close, if you walk south of this river you'll find the main road, take it west and that leads you there, you can't miss it ". Billy said while sinking his feet into the water.

" Wait, are you sending me alone? Aren't you worried that something bad could happen to a pretty girl like me? ".

" Sorry but I just started my journey, I can't go back there, besides, you have a good PokePon with you, I'm sure you'll be ok ". Billy walked deeper into the river.

" Wait! You, you have to come with me, I don't know anybody there, you have to help me! ". The girl yelled with anger and worry, it sounded like she was about to cry.

By now Billy was crossing the river. " Wait! Don't go, I, I, I, I challenge you! I challenge you to a PokePon battle! If I win you have to take me there! ". The girl begged from the edge of the river, trying at all cost to convince the younger boy to agree.

The girl thought about jumping into the water and catch up to him but stopped when she remembered that she just changed clothes. " Damn it! ". In her hesitation, Billy reached the other side and walked away towards his own camp. The girl tried to call him but he was too far now to hear her.

" Dang! I can't let him get away, Crecea, quickly, follow that Willy kid to his camp, it must be close, I'll go back to where we crossed the river and meet up with you, go now! ". The pegasus looked at where the kid was going and back to her trainer, her expression showing little enthusiasm.

" Come on, please? For Nana ". The mention of that person seemed to give the yellow PokePon enough motivation to obey, she got up and flew toward the boy who was almost out of sight now. " Good girl, I'll be there soon! ". The girl yelled, she then turned head and started her own trek.

BILLY'S CAMP...

Billy was glad to be back and find his friends safe and sound in his camp, after changing clothes and making sure his egg was warm he decided to prepare food for the gang. He preloaded rations for Twilie, Mac and Beowoolf, he then took an energy bar for himself. I'll get some dry wood for a campfire, you guys can play around for a bit but stay alert, ok? ".

" Twi! ".

" Eeyup! ".

" Woof! ".

" Good ". Billy left to accomplish his task, 10 minutes later he was back and not long after he had the fire lit and burning, using a small pot he boiled water that soon was turned into a improvised soup with instant packs.

After enjoying a few servings, everyone was full and now they were resting. By now the sky was getting dark and the wind was picking up which meant that the night would be cold. " Ok guys, let's make sure we pick everything up, then we'll move inside the tent ".

Twily and Beowoolf went straight to the job but Mac stood silently observing into the direction of the trees, his face showing attention. " What's up Mac? Everything ok? ".

" Eenope ". He pointed in the direction of the trees and stomped the ground with his right hoof, then pointed again.

" Something odd that way? Could it be a wild PokePon? ". Billy asked his little red friend who in response just shrugged. " Hmm, well, I suppose I could check and see ". By now Twily and Beowoolf had noticed them and we're getting curious as well.

" It's getting faster that I thought, maybe is better if we let it be for now, guys? What do you say? ". Mac and Twily seemed to agree, but the lest obedient Timberwolf simply started running in the direction Mac pointed before. " Hey! ".

In seconds the wooden canine was on the bushes and howling aggressively. Billy and company were getting there when a yellow blur jumped off from the bushes quickly getting into the air while Beowoolf jumped a second later prepared for combat.

" Waaaafff waaaaagh! ". Beowoolf howled menacingly at the yellow pegasus but the former didn't seemed afraid but rather angry.

" Eh? Isn't that..? Beowoolf! Calm down! I know that PokePon, she's not a threat! ". Billy didn't understood if his words worked, but after a second passed, the Timberwolf relaxed and even sat down with his tongue out and his tail moving left and right.

" Ok, it seems it called down, I hope ". Billy turned to the pegasus still hovering near them. " Crecea was it? What are you doing here, where's your trainer, is she around here? ".

The yellow PokePon landed and looked around, she also seemed confused about the whereabouts of the girl. " Shy, shy shy shyyy, shy? ".

" Hmm, I see, hmm, yes ". Billy turned around. " Guys, we have a missing person around, and we need to find her before it gets completely dark, the missing girl is around my high, she's wearing a yellow coat and has white hair, can't miss her ".

" Crecea, do you have an idea of which way she may have taken? ". The pegasus nodded and took fly once more in the direction toward her camp. " Ok, let's follow her". Billy's PokePon did as he asked.

Not too far from there, the missing trainer wandered in the middle of the treeline, with daylight almost gone, the visibility was minimal. In her hurry to reach the boy's camp she thought that she could find it faster if she took a detour through the trees which only now did she came to the realization of how terrible of an idea was that.

" Ugh, ok, n-now problem, I, I just need to find a clearing and fo-follow it north, which is... in that direction? Maybe? ". The girl tried to keep her bravery up but sudden noises coming from her left erased that in a second. She froze in place, hoping that whatever did that noise would pass her, but then her stomach betrayed her with a growl. The creature, as now she could see a humanoid form barely illuminated, seemed to stop and look for the source of the noise, then his eyes set on her, then a powerful growl came from the creature, similar to her but louder. " Aaaaaaaaaah! ".

The girl yelled and ran away from the beast that she was sure was coming behind her, she yelled louder every time she felt that the monster was gaining on her. " Please no! Nooooo! Someone! Save meeeee! ".

In the next few seconds she saw the clearing she was looking for, in her mind a plan was made, she would jump into the river so that the monster would not follow her unless it wanted to catch a cold. She ran as fast as her legs would let her, several branches and bushes scratching at her legs, but the stinging was forgotten as soon as she saw the end of the treeline, she pushed her body beyond its limits and jumped out on the clearing, it was only at the middle of the jump that she saw a blur of colors going in collision course against her.

" Aaaaah!

" Watch ouuuuugh! ". Poor Billy was thrown into the river along the girl, their PokePon watching in shock as the search came to a rapid and chaotic conclusion.

" Fuaaaah! C-cold ". As soon as Billy emerged out of the water he started shaking.

" Woaah! W-Willy? Willy boy! It is you, oh thank goodness ". The girl ignored both the cold and the water to grab Billy by the neck of his shirt and shake him even more. " Willy, you have to save me from the monster! It's chasing me! ".

" Wha-what are you talk-king about? ".

" The mo-monster! It was chasing me, it must be inside the forest, please, help me! ".

" I-I, fi-first let's get out of here or we're gonna g-get sick, last thing I need is to be back in the hospital ".

" But the mo-mo-monster! ". The girl trembled uncontrollably.

" OUT! ". Billy grabbed the older girl by the wrist and pulled her along, once back in land their PokePon came rushing.

" Twi Twi! ". Twilie jumped around her trainer, worried by his sudden accident and not wanting to see him injured again.

" I'm fine Twilie, she didn't hit me that hard, it was mostly the surprise and the cold, but I need to change again ". Billy turned to the girl as she was squeezing the water out of her clothes, Billy turned to check on her. " Are you ok... girl? What was your name again? ". Billy asked, now realizing she never introduced herself.

" Pao... Lina, my name is Lina! Yes, I'm just a normal trainer, like yoachuuuu! ". The girl sneezed with enough force to splash her own PokePon who immediately cringed.

" We ain't doing good staying here, uh, Lina, would you be ok going back to your camp?".

" What?! Are you expecting me to go back by myself with whatever abomination is loose in this forest? How rude! ". Lina protested.

" Hey, the idea of coming over here was yours and yours alone! What do you even want with me? I told you I'm not going back to Yurtown, I have an adventure to catch on ". Billy turned around, ready to leave when the white haired girl stopped him.

" Wait! I, I know I'm very noisy and I can be just a bit overbearing, but this journey is not for my sake or for glory, ple-please, I really need to reach Yurtown, for Nana's ". Lina's voice cracked at the end, almost at the point of crying, whatever this person was she seemed to be important for the girl, Crecea too seemed to get sad at the mention of that person.

" Why is so important for you to get there? Is there someone you're looking for? ". Billy asked.

" Well duh, don't you know? Yurtown is home to the famous Professor Dickson, his school is well know to produce good trainers and I'm planning to be the first champion coming from his school! ".

" So, in the end it is fame that you want ".

" No! I mean, yes, no, I mean, I do want to get famous, but it's mostly for Nana, she's a very precious person to me, she even put up with all my whining and complaining while she trained me, even with how I am I want to give her the happinesses of seen her granddaughter becoming a champion like she once was ".

" Oh, so this Nana person is your Granny? And she was a champion? ".

" Ye-yes, but please keep it a secret will ya, I want to surprise her ".

Billy thought about Lina's words, remembering that when he first saw her he felt something familiar. ' White hair and tanned skin, where did I saw that? Hm..! '.
" Aah! I remember now, you look like that champion in the video, I think her name was Paola, Paola Hammerly! ".

The surprise in Lina's face was telling, she gasped and her PokePon reacted too.." How, how do you know about Nana's championship carrier, it was a long time ago! ". Lina asked.

" Ah, well, my Grandpa has this pretty old things with videos inside, so in one of them he recorded a championship match between your Grandmother and some Eric guy ".

" Yes! It was the Crossroad tournament, that was the first time she won the tittle, she won 3 of those in total, she's amazing! ". Lina said proudly.

" She definitely is. So, then you want to become one of my Gramps' students? ".

" Uh? What? Your Grandfather? You? ". Lina asked shocked again.

" Yeah, I'm William J Dickson, his grandson ".

" No way! Then that's even better! You can take me directly to him so that I can become her protege, I'm sure that under his tutelage I'll be invincible! ".

" Umh! Sorry to tell you this but-! ". Before continuing with his conversation a guts of wind remained him of their current wet condition. " Wait, first off, we need to get changed, or both of us are gonna get sick, my camp is not far off, let's get there and I can lend you a change of clothes, then we can go back to your camp so that you can sleep ".

Lina got stressed right away. " Please no, don't make me sleep alone! Whatever that was chasing me is still out there and must be planning to have me for dinner, please pretty please, let me bunk in your camp, I swear Crecea and I won't be bugging you, please! ".

" But, my tent is just for one person, even if we put all our PokePon back into their CUVEs we'll still be in a tight space ". Billy explained.

" I, I am not, ugh ". Lina looked for a good argument to prevent been forced back into her camp but she couldn't find anything remotely good, as she seemed to accept her unwanted fate Billy finally relented.

" Ok, just for this time, it's completely dark now so no point in keep arguing ". Billy turned to his friends. " Guys? Would you mind staying in your CUVEs just for this night so that she can sleep the night here? ".

" Eenope ".

" Woof! "

" Twi Twi, Twi? Twi Twi! ". Twilie didn't seemed to agree, she called the girl an intruder and a danger to have around, specially if Twilie wasn't there to magic shot her if she tried to hurt or insult Billy once more.

" What?! I would never say that to a kid, I'm a young maiden! ".

Billy turned to her with a dead look. " You called me a perv several times back then ".

"Ok, I may have been a little crude there and then but now I know you're a very good boy, I'm sure you wouldn't send a girl alone to her demise, right Willy? ".

Billy sighed heavily. " Fine, just two things ". The girl nodded. " No insults, and please, don't call me Willy, it's Billy ".

" I promise Wi-I mean Billy, I'll behave ". With no more to say the two trainers walked back to the boy's camp, as promised, Billy lend her some of her clothes to change and gave her first go, when she exit the tent Billy went in and repeated the process, they then encapsulated their PokePon and went back inside to sleep.

As mentioned, the tent was barely enough for two persons in sleeping position, Billy's backpack and other things inside were shoved to a corner and he had to press his body to the side so that Lina would have her space.

Before calling the day off, Billy picked back the conversation. " As I was saying, even if I take you back home you won't be meeting Gramps there, he went to Thadcitie to help my Dad with something and I don't know how long will he take, my Mom was also going to leave the house soon so there's no one who can help you wait there ".

" Ugh, for real? Then you're right, there's no point in keep going there, what do I do now? ".

" Well, you could go to Thatcitie and try to find him but it will be difficult ".

" What about you? You said that you just started, right? Thatcitie has a gym there, you're planning to go there too, right? ".

" Yeah, but not yet, first I want to challenge the gym in Nohobo City, then probably Thadcitie will be next, probably, I haven't thought that far ".

" That wasn't on my plans, after all, I already beat the gym in there ". The girl said it like it was nothing.

" You did?! ".

" Yeah, it wasn't that hard since Crecea alone took all of their PokePon out, and that's all I have for now ". Billy looked her with new found respect, now he didn't felt so bad to be called a boy by a girl who obviously was older and more experienced.

" Wow! You must be really strong to beat a gym with only one PokePon ".

" Well of course, Nana taught me after all, I bet you must have learned a lot from your Grandfather ".

" Yeah, I did, although a lot of those things weren't PokePon related, maybe not even fit for a kid my age, anyway, one important thing he taught me was how to treat PokePon, he told me to be respectful but not afraid, to be firm yet gentle, to know they are different than us, but that they can become as close as family or friends, and that while we may use them for our own purpose they have the choice of telling us to go 'F' ourselves if they feel like, whatever that means ".

" Wow! He sounds just like Nana Pao described him ".

" Did he told you he's also a massive pervert, alcoholic and loud mouth? ". The girl nodded. " Then she told you the truth, anyway, it is late, think about what you want to do now that you know where he is, you can tell me tomorrow morning, let's get some sleep now ". Before closing his eyes, the girl asked for another thing.

" Yeah? ".

" Could you move a little bit further? ". Billy raised an eyebrow but did as asked. " Now, can you turn around? ". Billy was now getting tired of complying, but still did as asked again.

" Ok, is that all? ".

" Hmm, could you... let me tie your hands ".

" What?! ". The boy turned around, angry again. " Out! OUT! ".

" Just kidding! Just kidding, geez, just teasing, I trust you for reals ".

" Grrrrh! Then no more talk. Sleep! ".

" You wouldn't kick a lady out into the night, would you? ".

" I believe in gender equality, that means yes, I would kick you, wanna see? ". The girl shook her head and finally went to sleep, Billy expected one last wisecrack but it never came, finally he too fell sleep.

THE NEXT DAY...

Very early in the morning the sunlight barely penetrated the canopy of trees surrounding the river, when it did contact with the blue tent it caused the effect of bathing the inside with the a bright blue color that aroused Billy from his slumber.

" Amh, ugh my neck ". Billy looked around to sort his surrounding, his eyes easily found his sleeping partner, still sleep and not snoring but with a bit of drool. It was fun for him looking at her wearing his clothes which were saggy in her do to her smaller and thinner body.

When he realized he had staring for too long he redirected his sight to the top of the tent, the light just manageable enough to look. When he felt ready he got up and walked out, planning to make a quick breakfast, only to find the his pot and campfire in state of disarray.

" What the?! Did a wild PokePon attacked the camp? ". Billy inspected the pot and found it still usable, it would seem that something played with it, maybe thinking that it still had food in it, he proceeded shrug the issue off and start cleaning the pot and used it for breakfast, failing to further inspect the attack on his camp and find more evidence that would have given him a better perspective of what transpired last night.

Billy boiled water and used it to make hot coco, he also prepared a couple of dehydrated food plates for him and Lina and after that he prepared the food for the PokePon, including the extra one.

After finishing he went back inside the tent to wake the girl and free his friends so that they could clean themselves while the food cooled down. Getting inside he saw that Lina has expanded over the rest of the tent, his backpack with the CUVEs was now far from him his reach. " Lina, hey! Wake up, I'm making breakfast and I need to get my friends out, Lina? Hey! ".

Billy tried to call again to no avail, even a few touches with the tip of his foot got nothing but a roll and sleeping mumbling from her. " Ah come on! ". Lina just rolled again but at least her new position gave Billy a chance to crawl in and grab his stuff.

" You're kidding me? Ugh, no other choice I guess ". Not wanting to lose more time, Billy crawled down and made it half of the way, just to have Lina roll back and take him with her. " Gugh! ".

Lina was now embracing him with her face against his chest. Billy was paralyzed knowing perfectly well how his new situation looked. His arms were lifted away from her in other not to touch her anywhere even if she moved, but as a result, he was defenceless if she did something to him, which she did.

" Ummmh, Crecea, it is morning already? Don't want to, wake up, yet ". She lifted one of her legs over his own, she then pressed her body closer. " Crecea... cuddle ". Billy was afraid of what was coming next, and with reason. Lina moved her free hand under his shirt and on his back, she moved her hand side to side like looking for something, her touch making Billy to stiff immediately.

" Hmmm, wings? Where? ". Lina continued to mumble in her sleep while Billy tried to suppress the chills his body was experiencing, he was about to shout when one of his hands touched something familiar, he looked up and saw that one of his CUVEs had rolled out of the backpack and fell close to his hand, he took it decided to gamble in a crazy plan, he just hoped that it was the right one.

Pressing the release button, he let the cube fell just inches from him, the sound of warping space came about and not a second later the small form of Twilie appeared. At first the little unicorn didn't get what she was watching, just waking up she tilted her little head thinking that she was still dreaming, however, when she saw her trainer been hugged by the girl that harm him not long ago she woke instantly in a alarm.

" Twi?! ". She tried to ask what was happening but Billy shush her, she puffed her cheeks in disapproval of her current predicament, getting angry to see him so close to the other girl, he then made signs with his hands giving her commands to use her telekinesis to help him escape, it didn't took to long for the little filly to understand and nodded back in agreement.

Billy give her a nod as a signal to start, her horn glowed with a purple aura, same aura that now surrounded Lina's arms, softly, she was untangled from Billy and even rolled her to her other side where she kept sleeping unperturbed. Free now, Billy ruffled Twilie's mane as thanks for her help, he then took his other two CUVEs and told her to follow him.

Billy crawled out of the tent but Twilie remained, she threw the girl a snear and a huff, then, an evil idea came to her, she used her telekinesis once more, this time she lifted the girl entirely from the ground, a good seven inches, she then left the girl fall down as she ran outside to meet the others.

" Puaaah! ". The fall, while it didn't harm her, startled her enough to wake up in shock, her head spinning left and right trying to understand what happened but finding not a clue of the prank the little purple PokePon played on her.

After getting up and pulling out her own PokePon, Lina joined the rest. " About time, I left you some food if you're hungry, your Fluttershy can have some as well ". Lina took the invitation in silence as did Crecea, apart from her rude awakening, she had used the rest to think about what to do next, the was no longer the need to reschedule Yurtown now that she knew the Professor was in Thadcitie, as she thought, the option of simply going there was the more logical.

' No matter how difficult or harsh my journey was, for me it was always a bliss to travel with my PokePon, meeting new people, learning about new PokePon, facing new challenges, that's the stuff that makes the journey unique and wonderfull! Taking the easy way? Puffff, never in my life! '.

Her grandmother's words came to her as she munched with the rest, she looked to the boy that helped her mad saw that his PokePon were as precious to him as Crecea was to her, she wanted the recognition of been called an apprentice of Professor Dickson and and become a champion that would help spread the name of Paola Hammerly once more, her grandmother has tried to open her own school for trainers but nobody wanted to be trained by a champion of a long gone era, she knew of the professor' fallen glory as well, how he was discredited and named a wacko some decades ago, but he managed to rise up again and was as or more famous than the people that once criticize him, plus, her Nana always talked about him and his deceased wife in a friendly and comical way.

It was when she overhead her father telling Nana Pao to stop wasting time with her empty school that she saw how much Nana was hurting, even her own family would treat her carrier as nothing but dust that the wind blew long ago, compared against the name that her family from her father side, her accomplishments were but mere laughs is what her father was telling her, under those harsh words, Paola Hammerly cried, and Lina heard everything.

It was then that she decided, that she would become a PokePon trainer, even if she was two years too old to start, even if the only PokePon she had was Crecea, a PokePon that she spoiled too much but was still strong thanks to her Nana, she would become a champion, is what she promised herself.

" I'll go with you, for a while that is ". Her words startled Billy as she has been quiet since waking up.

" Pardon? ".

" I said I'll go with you, at least for a while, I think that it will help me to get more experience as a trainer if I travel with you ".

" Uh, you, want to go with me? ". Billy was not against the idea of travelling with someone, although originally he wanted to travel with one of the other students of his class, this girl was a hassle, personality wise, but she wasn't a bad person, plus, he found her goal of restoring her Grandmother's fame a noble one.

" Ok, I think traveling together could be interesting, so, I accept ". Billy extended his arm to her, after a few seconds, she returned the handshake with a smile.

" Of course you would, no boy would say no to traveling with a pretty girl such as me, just try to keep your Dickson perversion under check and we'll be ok ". Lina said with attitude.

" Don't make me regret it, specially after you... ugh, forget it! ".

" Just teasing, you look cute when you get flustered ".

" Ugh! Anyway, guys, come over here! ". His three friends came rushing. " Listen, starting today, we'll be traveling with Lina and Crecea, for now, try to be friends and help each other, ok? ". Mac only nodded, Beowoolf just kept its same expression, Twilie however wasn't very thrilled, she huffed and crossed her little legs in disagreement.

" Ok, so first order of business, we have to get yours stuff back from your camp, I don't think you want to keep using my clothes, do you? ".

Only then, when Billy commented on it, did Lina remembered her state of dress, the clothes were unsightly for a girl but not as bad as to not wearing her proper underwear. " Good idea, I suppose you can be in charge of our travels for now ".

Billy rolled his eyes as he started to wrap his camping equipment. " Ok then, first stop will be Farplace, from there we'll take the train for Nohobo City! ". It was a sound plan, Lina did agree with it and after everything was packed they moved to retrieve Lina's camp.

The walk back to the camp was uneventful, except for Twilie throwing glares at Lina all the way, after a few minutes and crossing the same bridge Lina used to cross last night, the group arrived.

" How come we made it faster that last night? ". Asked Lina.

" Shy shy! ". Crecea said with a tone of sass.

" Hey now, it was an strategic shortcut, is not my fault that the forest was so dark! ".

" Yeah, and you got lost and scared of the shadows ". Said Billy.

" I know what I saw and 'THAT' wasn't shadows! There really was something following me! ". Lina defended.

" So you say ".

" Twi twi! ".

" Haha! Nice ". Billy fistbumped Twilie for her joke.

" What did she said? ". Asked Lina not understanding the whole comment.

" Nothing to worry abo-?! ". Billy stopped, both from speaking and walking.

Lina and the rest too did saw what was the cause, in front of them, the camp of the girl was in sight, but unlike she left it, it looked like some animal has roamed through it, clothes were discarded around, one corner not the tent was hanging from the rest of the structure.

" My stuff! ". Seen her property in such a shape, she ran toward it to see if her backpack was safe.

" Wait! ". Billy shouted to earn her but Lina wasn't calm enough to see what he saw. She made it inside the tent, Billy and the rest running to catch up. Then an ear piercing scream came from Lina, she ran back out with her hands up and still screaming.

" Lina! What's going o-ugh! ". Lina crashed into Billy taking him down once more.

" Mo-monster! The same monster from yesterday! ".

" OUGH! ". A creature cried out from within the tent, then it walked out of it, the figure had human shape, it was covered in ragged clothes, dirt and grime, the few part that showed skin looked bruised, the face was puffy and pink with one eye closed by the swelling, the creature tumbled slowly advancing toward them.

" KGGOOD! ". The zombie like figure gurgled as it made it closer. Unlike before, the PokePon this time were ready to protect their human companions and quickly formed a defensive line, the creature kept marching, until he was close enough to be attacked, but then something unexpected happened, the zombie stopped and tilted its head as he saw the PokePon in front, it didn't show fear as much as confusion, then, it spoke.

" TGWIGLIE? ". The monster gurgled again, Billy had the impression that it recognized Twilie, indeed, the creature then looked in his direction, believing that the creature was looking at her, Lina hugged Billy harder. " BIWWY? ".

" That... Did it say my name? ". Billy pushed Lina off of him and got up, there PokePon were still ready but now they were confused too. Billy walked pass them and took a look closer. He did looked different under all the dirt and rags but Billy was able to recognize his former partner.

" Harold? Is that you? ".

" BIWWY! ". Harold responded with happiness.
