I hope you enjoy and the other two chapters shouldn't take long to make. I would like to again thank everyone who has stuck with me all this time. This story takes place in the same universe as the Alien Twilight Series, hours after the Xenomorphs broke free from the influence of the Queen Gene Twilight Sparkle possessed. Or mane focus will be Starlight Glimmer and the town ponies, do you think they will survive? Enjoy Our Town "Is everything alright, Master Glimmer?" The robotic sphere floats around the unicorn to block her sight so that all she can see is this robot. The small sphere focuses it's single iris onto Starlight Glimmer accessing her emotions. "Are you ... regretting again, Master?" "Don't be a foal, Andrew" Starlight scrunches her muzzle and uses her magic to move the small sphere back to floating at her side. The unicorn takes a deep breath and looks back out her bedroom window, "Everything is as it should be! The only thing to worry about is that storm in the horizon" Starlight steps away from the window using her magic to open the front door for a better view, Andrew floats quickly out the door and looks with one eye at the black clouds in the distance. Andrew being a very small robotic sphere, the clouds are very intimidating for the small therapy droid. Starlight examines the streets of her town, the ponies of Our Town are getting ready for a festival celebrating their equality. Each pony sharing the same forceful, wide grin. Using her magic she grabs a band of a banner and fastens it onto the front of her home for all to see. "Good Morning Starlight!" Diamond Double comes out of his home carrying a basket on his back full of a variety of decorations for the festival. "Morning to you too Andrew! We have been hard at work for the festival despite the clouds and the possibility of ruining our work" "Your smile is as concerning as ever, Diamond" Andrew says almost monotone while floating next to Starlight Glimmer. Focusing his one eye on the stallion that has greeted them this morning, like every morning. "If your condition didn't help my client. I would surely pull you into my metaphorical office" "Andrew, that will be enough" Starlight moves the small sphere out of view with her tail and looks to Diamond Double, Starlight forces a very fake smile before giving out an order. "Go back to putting up those decorations, Double! You are doing a wonderful job, Ha ha" Starlight steps away keeping a believable fake smile as she attends to the rest of the town. The ponies are hard at work getting everything ready for the festival, however, Starlight Glimmer is the only one not excited for today. After living several years as the only pony in the town with her special talent still intact, the realization of how bland this lifestyle really is started sinking in a couple months ago. Which is why Starlight ordered the Andrew Robot, hopes that this robot would ease her doubts after a couple reprogramming to prevent it from convincing her that her plans were unjust and the source of her issues. Yet even after the reprogramming the Andrew continues to find ways to make her feel awful about her choices with the small town. "Everything going as planned, Master Glimmer?" Andrew pulls himself out of Starlight's grasp and floats back to her side looking over with his iris. "Or is something ... missing that you would like to discuss. I can name a town full of missing properties and talents" "No Andrew, nothing needs to be changed" Starlight's lungs feel heavier as she speak and she coughs a bit because of it. "I think maybe you should consider returning home, I can talk to you after the festival" Starlight coughs again but this time she isn't alone. All the ponies begin to cough as the clouds in the distant float closer towards the town. The thick black cloud slowly descending as it travels across the sky, Starlight Glimmer looks up narrowing her eyes to get a better look at the sky. She takes a deep breath and a small black snowflake lands on the tip of her nose causing her to sneeze as the smell of smoke seeps into her nose. "Smoke? Ashes? That is not a normal cloud, Master" Andrew looks up with his eye to scan the cloud above, however, everypony's attention changes as one of the town ponies screams as the black smoke comes into the town. "What is it!?" Starlight turns to the sound of the scream but the source seemingly disappears as the smoke makes everything very hard to see. As if the world itself was set on fire, the huge cloud quickly engulfs the town making it very hard to breath. Starlight uses her magic to grab a hold of nearby ponies to help guide them to her. Andrew turns on a fog light attachment from his eye but the light doesn't aid them enough. "Is there a fire, Starlight!?" Diamond looks around frantically trying to find the pony who screamed. "It is so hard to breath ... we should get inside. That scream didn't sound good!!" "If I could find a building I would!!" Starlight starts walking through the smoke trying not to breath in to much of the thick smoke, the breaths she takes feel she is breathing in fire. "Follow me and stay close, Don't want to be left out in this" "I can't see anything in this mess!!" Sugar Belle squeaks, the mare gasps as suddenly something trips her. "Woah!! What ..." Sugar Belle's eyes widen as a hand covers her mouth from something in the darkness of the smoke. Diamond looks back to see something pull the mare from the group, Sugar Belle's muffled screams echo from the darkness afterwards. "Sugar Belle!!?? Something took Sugar!" Diamond stumbles as he walks running into the center of the group, in his frantic sprint he causes everypony to disperse. "I have to get out of here!!" "Get back here Diamond!!" Starlight Glimmer turns to the stallion, annoyed and unaware of what just happened. Diamond Double being the only one to see Sugar Belle being dragged away. "What is wrong with you!!" "That thing took, Sugar Belle!!" Diamond is cut off as something reaches from the darkness from behind grabbing the stallion and pulling him away. "Help ME!!" Starlight almost falls over as she sees this, the smoke around them thickening but a building now being visible as they near it. In a panic of the situation the unicorn shoots out a blast of magic in the direction of where the attacker, the beam of magic smashing into something in the darkness. A loud squealing roar echoes from the smoke as if Starlight has just injured whatever it was. "Get inside!! NOW!!!" Starlight rushes forward to get to the building, however, a long black tail swings from the roof of the structure in attempt to strike her down. The tail moves quickly almost striking her in the head but the sharp end only cuts a bit of her mane instead. "What in Tartarus is that!!??" "Get inside, Starlight!!" Night Glider rushes forward knocking the unicorn through the door in a frantic attempt to get inside. The two mares fall to the ground, finally free from the smoke and able to see. Night Glider has a long bleeding cut on her cheek, being unable to get out of the smoke untouched. "Master!! The door!!" Andrew looks to the door as a creature steps into the building from the concealment of the smoke. Andrew focuses on the large creature trying also trying to get to the next door, "Look out, Master!!" The creature sprints forward towards Starlight Glimmer, easily the creature grabs the mare by the neck pinning her to the wall with one arm. The Alien Creature is much larger than the unicorn, the creature has a huge shinning dome carapace, a tail longer than it's body, and mighty strength. Starlight's horn glows as she stares at the creature as it open's it's chrome teeth revealing a second mouth resting behind it's maw. Starlight doesn't hold back and shoots a blast of magic into the creatures dome head causing it to let go of her and fall to the ground. "Starlight what is that thing!?" Night Glider screams pushing open the door to the next room so they can escape. "WHAT IS THAT THING!!" Starlight pushes herself up, eyes widened, looking over at the creature as it pulls itself back up from the ground. A large gash in it's dome head from the magical blast. Yet the creature doesn't seemed fazed by the attack and turns back to the mare reaching out with both hands sprinting for her. "I don't know what it is!!" Starlight moves to the door and jumps through the entrance to the other room, "Close the door, Night Glider!!" Glider pushes with all her might to slam the door closed on the attacking creature, in doing so she is unable to as the creatures head pokes through the door. Opening it's mouth and a dagger like tongue shoots out in attempt to bite at the Pegasus at the door, inches from making a direct hit. The Alien screams and pulls back to get it's carapace head out of the door and that allowing the two mares to shut the door completely.
