A story with a known end

Soren looked over the city of canterlot enjoying the beautiful view of the place he called home though he wished it was not full of snobbish nobles destroying the beauty of the place. Sighing he shaked his head to get rid of the negative thoughts since now was not the time; instead it was more in taking in the lovely scenery while the icy cold weather nipped at his fur sending chills down his spine.

There is nothing better then admiring this view then during the beginning of winter. “No ponies around, peaceful atmosphere, and the wonderful night sky….” looking over his shoulder from hearing slight noises behind he could see a mare in the distance ascending the spiral staircase making her way upward to the place he called his safe haven during this time of year. He was disappointed in seeing another approach this place though it was open to the public he still would have preferred it to be just himself.

No matter the slight disturbance that might interrupt his alone time he still will not let it interfere with his plans for the evening. So in the end he let it be for if she decides to admire the same scenery as he then he has no ill will to hold her from it. It would probably be nice to have another to converse with or just have another's presence nearby. So in the end he decided to welcome them.

Looking forward ahead he sat there wondering about many things of nothingness and hollow thoughts going about his mind until he heard the mare he was expecting. Not a moment later he decided to start off…

“Good evening, Miss. A lovely night it is tonight, don’t you think?” Soren spoke while looking straight ahead.

“Indeed it is.” The mare spoke then continued to follow up. “I’m rather surprised to see another up here during this time, usually it's just myself.” She concluded while heading forward to take a sit.

“I could say the same, though I come at a different time of year to admire the view. So it’s not surprising to have never seen me here before then.” Soren replied before turning to look at the mare herself. “Their is no better time to admire canterlot, then during the season of winter after all.” By the way; My names Soren, and yours?”

The mare looked away from the view and toward the stallion. ”Azure.”

Both of them sit there silently staring at the view drifting off into nothingness until the first flakes of snow started to descend from the sky relaying that the beginning of winter in canterlot has started.

Soren decided to speak up once again to his unknown company named ‘Azure.’ “Seems like the pegasus are starting earlier this winter and the temperature has began to drop slightly. So would you like to accompany me down and possibly drop by a cafe for a cup of coffee or hot tea? Will be my treat...or not. Highly matters to me other way. It's your choose.” Soren got up from his seat and started to head off.

Azure brushed her lap off before getting onto her hoofs. “I don’t mind.” She trotted over to her new acquaintance.

Soren nodded when he seen Azure appear be his side then they both headed down the spiral staircase toward their destination in silence.

“So, Soren the mysterious. Where is this cafe your treating me to?” Azure faced Soren.

Still looking start ahead “You'll just have to wait until we get there, Azure.” Soren smirked cheerfully.
