It was with a sense of great satisfaction that Rainbow Dash slowly woke up in her cloud bed. A pleased smile etched itself on to her muzzle as soon as her fuzzy mind registered the source of heat pressed against her back, one of her ears flicked to listen to the heavy but calm breathing of the stallion spooning her. Dash gently wiggled herself further in to her bedmate’s embrace, letting out a pleased huff when her movement caused the stallion to tug her closer.
This is the life, the rainbow maned mare thought as she simply enjoyed the cuddle.
It was currently late spring in the land of Equestria, which meant heat season had started for most of the mares of Ponyville, and depending on which of them you asked, they would either tell you it was the worst week or the best week of spring. The answer usually depended heavily on whether or not the mare in question currently had a coltfriend and how many crying foals she was holding.
Unsurprisingly, for a mare as sexy and awesome as Rainbow, heat season fell in the latter category. Sure, being in heat was an absolute pain if you weren’t able to alleviate the dull, near constant fire in your loins, but it was not as if Rainbow Dash would ever have trouble with that, not with her looks. Pristine wings, eye-catching mane, sleek, athletic body, and firm flanks. Add in to the mix a little bit of fame from performing a sonic rainboom and saving Equestria from all manners of dangers, plus she was a Wonderbolt candidate… Yeah, there was no shortage of impressed stallions to talk to and subsequently woo.
A small snort came from the stallion behind her as he stirred in his sleep, burying his muzzle in to Rainbow’s mane and inhaling deeply. Rainbow could feel Skywisp’s heartbeat slowly increase as he woke up from his slumber, eliciting a hum of pleasure from her as he found a ticklish spot on her neck.
“Good morning,” Rainbow whispered in a sultry tone. A pleased groan was the response, followed by a wing that wrapped itself around her barrel.
Skywisp was part of the Ponyville weather patrol, but only working as a reserve member. His regular job was in the Equestrian Royal Postal Service, and while he had been given several opportunities to become a full time member of the weather patrol, he had always declined. Still, he was a cool stallion in Rainbow’s books, and after one day of unsuccessful booty calls, she was very happy to have bumped in to him in Tipsy’s tavern. After a few ciders and some getting to know each other better, they had left for Rainbow’s cloud house for some nighttime fun.
And oh sweet Celestia had last night been good. The stallion knew how to rut after she had managed to convince him that ‘yes, she ~~desperately needed~~ very much wanted him’ and ‘no, she didn’t want it in the butt’. She had been a little worried that the couple of drinks they had had would negatively affect his endurance, but boy had she been wrong. If anything they seemed to make him last longer, or else he naturally had the endurance of two stallions.
Rainbow usually preferred not to have too much to drink if she was gunning for a roll in the hay afterwards. What was the point of having sex if it was only a blur in your mind later and you had trouble remembering how good it felt afterwards? Besides, if you were in estrus, it was strongly advised not to drink and rut, unless you wanted to accidentally have foals you did not mean to. It was far too easy to forget to take the Bitterweed medicine or use a condom when in a drunken lust.
Dash let out a giggle when Skywisp started to playfully nibble at her neck while running his wing across her side and flank.
“Well isn’t somepony eager right in the morning,” she murmured, thoroughly enjoying the attention.
“Mmm, you didn’t seem to complain last night when I did this.”
“I’m ah not complaining…” And she was not, but teasing her as he did would eventually lead to rekindling the fires he had so expertly doused last night. And that would mean they would need to be alleviated again before they would have to start the day.
I guess we have time for a quickie, Dash mentally conceded with a big, happy grin on her face.

Rainbow lazily glided over the streets of Ponyville, happily humming to herself, still feeling some of the pleasant afterglow from the morning’s activities. With the few weather duties she had having taken less time than she anticipated, and no other chores that needed to be done, Rainbow found herself absent of any clear goal for the rest of the day.
There were no world ending threats, no crazy alicorn shenanigans, and even the Everfree seemed to be behaving itself. She was as free as the clouds in the sky to do whatever she wanted, and while usually that might have entailed practicing daredevil tricks or some friendly competition with Applejack, the heat had sapped the energetic pegasus of her usual strength.
A nap sounds very tempting right about now, she thought to herself as she let out a massive yawn. She could always do her practice routine after that. But, before she could set out to search for a fluffy cloud to nestle herself in, her eyes spotted something that made her angle her flight towards the ground instead of the sky.
“Heyja Fluttershy,” Rainbow greeted as she touched down next to her friend who was sitting at one of the tables outside of café Sunny Toast. She had a mug of tea in front of her, as well as a half eaten sandwich which she was disinterestedly poking.
“O-oh! Hey, Rainbow Dash,” the yellow pegasus greeted back after a start, offering a small smile.
“What’s up Fluttershy? Why are you sitting here alone?”
“I’m just…having a bit of a lunch before heading back to my cottage,” she muttered, grabbing the sandwich and taking a bite out of it, making a show of enjoying it.
“Uh-huh,” Rainbow droned with a raised eyebrow.
“Uhm, w-what are you up to?”
“Nothing really, I was about to go take a nap before I spotted you here. There isn’t any weather work that needs to be done today.”
“A nap does sound nice,” Fluttershy said with a tiny smile.
“Yup, I need all the energy I can get after a long night of rolling in the hay with a stallion,” Dash smirked, which soon morphed to a full grin when Fluttershy’s wings shot out and the mare blushed. “You know Skywisp, yeah? Bluish-gray coat, works as a reservist for the weather team? I managed to hit him up last night, and let me tell you, the colt knows some moves,” Dash explained, wiggling her eyebrows at her friend while making suggestive gestures with her hooves.
“O-oh, oh my…” Fluttershy shuffled on her seat, ruffling her wings to try to get them under control.
“The best part is that I hit heat just two days ago, and sweet Luna it was just so satisfying to get that done with,” Rainbow sighed, her body shaking lightly as she thought back to the orgasmic bliss that washed away her need last night. She utterly failed to notice how her friend was grinding her teeth together.
“Must have been nice,” Fluttershy quietly mumbled to herself, but not quietly enough. One of Rainbow’s ears twitched, and she turned to face her friend.
“Fluttershy, is…something the matter?” she asked with a tilt of her head and a small frown. Fluttershy instantly went back to her shy self.
“Oh, uh, nothing,” she lied. Poorly.
“Fluttershy…”
The demure pegasus lowered her head and drew circles on the ground with one hoof, saying nothing.
“…It’s the heat, isn’t it? It started for you as well?” Rainbow asked, although she could already guess the answer.
“…” Eventually, Fluttershy gave a meek nod. Rainbow let an exasperated sigh and sat down next to her.
“Is it bad?” Another nod. “Has it been going for long?”
“Umh…a week?” Fluttershy unsurely voiced.
“A WEEK?” Rainbow shouted, slamming her front hooves on the table and standing up, causing all the other patrons at the café to turn towards them. “Oh…! Erm…ehehe, sorry about that, uh, just never mind us,” she sputtered, sitting back down. “A week? Really?”
“…” Fluttershy simply nodded again, trying to hide from the stares the others were still giving them. Rainbow sighed.
“I can’t even imagine how much that would suck,” she shuddered, but then gave a halfhearted glare at the fidgeting pegasus next to her. “But I don’t understand why you just go through all that stuff!” Fluttershy seemed to want to say something back, but Rainbow stopped her before she could even get her mouth open. “Look, I know. I get it. It’s hard for you to approach stallions,” Rainbow said awkwardly, her own ears flattening as well. “But I could help you! I could be your wingmare, or- or- or maybe we could even ask Pinkie Pie or, I don’t know, Rarity?” Rainbow shrugged unsurely at the last option.
“Thanks Rainbow, b-but I don’t know…” Fluttershy shyly played with her mane, not looking towards Rainbow. “I-I’ve never been with a s-stallion… I don’t think I could, uhm, h-have…u-um…s-s-s…well…”
“You’re overthinking it, Fluttershy. Getting it on with a dude is easy peasy: Start with a little bit of kissing, move on to some foreplay, and soon you’ll be getting your rump plowed like the fields of Swee-” Rainbow boasted with a grin before she was interrupted by one of Fluttershy’s wings smacking her in the face as they sprang open.
“O-oh my…” the more red than yellow pegasus vigorously blushed.
“What I’m trying to say is…” Rainbow continued with a miffed tone as she rubbed her muzzle. “You’re a great gal Fluttershy, and combined with your body of a model, there’s plenty of stallions I’m sure would just love to spend a night or two with you. You just need to go out there and woo them!” Rainbow tried her best to sound encouraging as she nudged Fluttershy’s shoulder with her own. Fluttershy nervously rubbed her forelegs together as she worked to get her wings under control.
“I-I’m n-not sure I can…um, ‘woo’ anypony…” she dejectedly said after a while, ears flopping down. “E-even with your help… I’m not really good with…umm…”
Rainbow huffed at her friend’s lack of confidence, but did not say anything. Knowing Fluttershy, even if she kept trying, it would take long time and something more than a few words to get her to try something ‘outrageously intimate’ with a stallion, like hoof holding. Instead, Rainbow simply placed a wing across her friend’s back in a show of support.
“Well, ugh, look… If you think that’s not something you can do, then I guess we’ll leave that plan at that.” Rainbow withdrew her wing so that she could properly look Fluttershy in the eye. “But, there are other ways to deal with the heat. Personally, I don’t think any of them are as good as a go with a stallion who knows how to treat a mare, but they are better than nothing. And since they don’t involve getting into bed with a stallion, you should be able to do them, right?”
“Um…I-I s-suppose…”
“Right. Since it’s just your shyness that’s getting in the way, the simplest option is to just get you the best substitution available.”
“Uh, what is that?” Fluttershy quietly asked.
“…I refuse to believe you don’t know what a stallion toy is,” Rainbow answered back with a flat look. At the mention of the item, Fluttershy’s hoof shuffling stopped for second before it resumed again slightly quicker. Rainbow could easily tell that Fluttershy was switching from nervousness to embarrassment.
“No, ah, I-I-I…know w-what that is…” the fluttering mare replied, burying her face in her hooves to hide her blush.
“Like I said, it’s not really the same as the real deal, but it still serves the purpose I guess,” the rainbow maned mare shrugged. “I haven’t really ever bothered with them, but it should be perfect for your needs! All we need to do is to go get you one!” she happily chirped.
“W-w-what?!” Fluttershy squeaked quietly, peeking from behind her hooves.
“Fluttershy, I’m not going to let you suffer through another heat without any help, not when it’s something so simple to deal with,” Rainbow steadily declared, and made to stand up.
“B-but, uh…I don’t…”
“No buts! Look, I’ll even come with you so that you don’t have to do this alone.”
“B-b-bu-but Rainbow-”
“So let’s go get you one already! I know a store where you can get one here in Ponyville. Come on!” Rainbow sprang up, hovering a few meters in the air, but when her fellow pegasus made no move to get up and follow, instead blushing and averting her gaze, she landed back down.
“U-u-uhm…”
“Fluttershy?”
“I-I um…uh…I a-already have one…”

“Okay, so care to tell me exactly why you own a stallion toy, yet you still suffer through heat without doing anything about it?” Rainbow demanded as the pair made their way inside Fluttershy’s cottage. It had been a rather quick flight to her home, Rainbow practically pushing Fluttershy forward all the way while the shy pegasus tried every excuse imaginable to wrangle herself out of the situation. It was not as much of a shock to know that Fluttershy of all ponies had bought a stallion toy, as it was rather easy for any single mare to go out and get one. The shock was to learn that Fluttershy had had one for years, yet for some Celestia damned reason she had never used it once.
“W-well, uh…umm…” Fluttershy stammered as her friend ushered her inside and closed the door. “I-I-I never, uhm… I d-didn’t mean to get it… I b-bought it in the heat of the moment, an-and never…”
“Uh-huh.”
“I-it was all weird, and, and odd…” Fluttershy painedly complained, following after Rainbow who was marching straight towards her bedroom.
“Fluttershy, if you are trying to say that it was weird because it looked like a stallion’s dick, that’s because it’s supposed to look like a dick,” Rainbow said over her shoulder.
“Uh, no, that’s not-” Fluttershy began, but stopped when they entered her room. Rainbow spun around, plopped her butt on the floor and crossed her forelegs.
“Just take it out and show it to me, Fluttershy.”
“What? B-but…!” Fluttershy desperately pleaded, her cheeks flaring red, and Rainbow briefly wondered if Fluttershy’s coat would permanently change to match the hue of Applejack's brother.
“Look, Fluttershy, this is getting ridiculous,” Rainbow said, massaging her temples. “It’s like you're trying your damnedest not to get out of heat.”
“N-no, I’m not. I hate it…” the yellow pegasus quietly mumbled, directing her gaze to the floor.
“Then take out the toy.”
“B-but…but it’s embarrassing…”
“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about,” Rainbow casually asserted, placing her forehooves back on the floor and adopting a more relaxed posture. “Every mare goes through heat, and every mare has to deal with it. I do that by going out and snagging a guy, but if you want to do it with a toy, that’s your choice.”
“…” Fluttershy drew circles on the floor with one of her front hooves, trying not to be too abashed by the whole situation and failing miserably.
“I promise that it’s not that big of a deal,” Rainbow shrugged.
“…Okay,” Fluttershy finally relented, slowly shuffling to the foot of her bed and opening the trunk. After a moment of rummaging around, she finally pulled out the object she hoped had somehow disappeared since she last saw it and placed it on the floor. Rainbow looked at the toy long and hard, her expression changing several times, before she eventually facehoofed.
“Fluttershy…” she drawdled.
“Um…yes?”
“…Why is it double-ended?”
“I, um, don’t know…”
Both ponies started at the large, black stallion toy laying on the floor. It was immaculately crafted, clearly resembling the veiny member of particularly well endowed stallion. Except, instead of ending in a pair of weighty testes, the silicone member mirrored itself into a second, vascular member.
“It’s-…Ugh, you do realise what double-ended ones are meant for, right?”
“Uuh, um…y-y-y-no,” Fluttershy admitted, twiddling her hooves. “I d-didn’t…I, umm, when I bought it, I…took whatever…a-an-and I thought it…it should be better? Be-because there’s two?” Fluttershy continued with an awkward smile, causing Rainbow to perform a second, exasperated facehoof.
“Fluttershy… These ones,” Rainbow began, poking the item on the floor, “are meant for fillyfoolers. You know, so that they can do it together,” she explained with a deadpan expression, but unable to resist some blush creeping up her face. Fluttershy’s wings sprang open.
“Oh!”
“Yes, oh.”
“I didn’t-! Uh, i-it’s not what you think!” the already awkward pegasus protested.
“Relax Flutters, I wasn’t thinking you had accidentally revealed a deep secret or something.”
Fluttershy laid on the floor and covered her face with her forelegs, utterly embarrassed by the whole discussion. Not only had the topic of heat come up, not only was she having a talk a-about s-s-sex with Rainbow of all ponies, but now they were talking about the…the…the naughty secret she had. How could this be any worse, Fluttershy thought.
“Well, it still works all the same I guess. So hop to it, Flutters,” Rainbow said, leaning back and crossing her forelegs again.
There was a long silence as neither of the ponies moved, Fluttershy content to hide under her forelegs as she felt Rainbow’s stare bore in to her.
“Um…what?”
“You are going to get rid of your heat, right here, right now.”
“N-n-now?” she quietly squaked from her ‘hiding’ place.
“Now. And I’m going to stay here until you are done.”
“WHAT?!” Fluttershy screamed with enough force that both of the ponies could hear tiny feet scampering through the living room as the many animals in the cottage darted to safety. The timid pegasus’ face was so red Rainbow was confident that if she dunked a bucket of water on to her, it would evaporate without even touching her.
“You heard me!” Rainbow challenged.
“What-…bu-but-…I can’t- you- uh…!”
“Fluttershy, you have been suffering through every heat, every year, despite having a stallion toy to help you. If I leave now, you are going to make some excuse, or you are going to get too nervous and you aren’t going to do anything about your situation,” Rainbow said sternly.
“…”
“So I’m going to ensure you finally get it over with, even if I have to sit here and watch,” the stubborn speedster declared, not quite as coolly and aloof as she wanted, since she was unable to stop her own wings from ruffling.
“But I can’t…do it if you watch…” Fluttershy meekly complained
“From the sounds of things, it doesn’t seem like you could do it at all,” Rainbow deadpanned for the hundredth time, causing Fluttershy to hang her head. “Ponyfeathers… Look, I didn’t mean it like that,” she apologized, shuffling closer to her friend and wrapping a wing around her. “It’s just that I don’t want to watch you suffer like this when I can help… Even if it’s a little awkward.” The mare’s words were punctuated by her rubbing the back of her neck, and the now noticeable blush creeping across her cheeks.
“Mmm…”
“So uhhh… Just get your butt over to the bed and let’s get this over with, yeah?”
“U-um…”
“When you get going, you won’t even notice I’m here, I promise.”
“Uh…um…” Fluttershy mumbled unsurely, but, seeing as Rainbow was dead serious about staying there until her heat was done with, she eventually made her way to the bed and sat on it.
“So!” Rainbow exclaimed, trying to make herself sound more chipper and casual than she actually felt. Her heart was starting to beat faster when it finally sunk in that of all the things she could have been doing today, she was going to try to help her oldest friend get off. “Ah, I think we need something to make this thing slick,” she poked the stallion toy and then picked it up.
“…Um…” Fluttershy tilted her head.
“…Lube? You can’t just ram it in.” Fluttershy made a face and awkwardly ruffled her feathers.
“Ah…”
“…Please tell me you have some.”
“I uh…d-didn’t realize…”
“Oh for Luna’s sake… Okay, just hold on to it, I’m sure we’ll figure something out,” Rainbow huffed and tossed the toy to Fluttershy, who gingerly caught it. She climbed on to the bed with her friend and sat down behind her. “Alrighty,” she began, placing her hooves on Fluttershy’s shoulders. She could feel her muscles tensing. “Let’s get you relaxed first.”
With an expert’s touch, Rainbow began massaging Fluttershy’s shoulders, digging in her hooves with smooth rotating motions while slowly working her way down towards the wings. When exercising one's wings as much as she, cramps are an eventuality, and the experience gained from giving and receiving many treatments of soothing hooves had made Dash a rather good wing masseuse.
“Mmh…” Rainbow could practically feel the stress departing Fluttershy’s body as she continued the massage, slowly reaching the wings.
“So… Who do you fancy?” Rainbow questioned, while at the same time pressing at the base of each yellow wing.
“Ahh… Ummh, huh?”
“Like, which stallion you like? Or what type?” Rainbow clarified.
“Oh, um- Ah… I h-haven’t really thought a-about that,” Fluttershy quietly replied, although Rainbow was not sure if it was because of her shyness or if she was simply enjoying the massage.
“Aa, don’t lie! I’ve seen some of the looks you give to certain ponies,” Rainbow challenged, leaning in and whispering. “Like Braeburn, perhaps?”
“...” Rainbow could not see Fluttershy’s face, but she knew that her friend must have been blushing fiercely, if the hooves rubbing together was of any indication.
“He was a bit of a looker, wasn’t he? Strong earth pony muscles, wild mane and tail, and those haunches,” Rainbow whistled, before leaning again closer. “Good for all kinds of bucking,” she breathed. Fluttershy’s wings erected upwards again, and Rainbow moved her hooves to the more sensitive areas.
“O-oh my…” the poor pegasus mumbled as all sorts of images filled her mind.
“Just imagine those strong hooves roaming your body, exploring all the nooks and crannies.” Rainbow punctuated her words by gently brushing her wings against Fluttershy’s back. “I bet he would take his time, reaaally gently going about it, appreciating every. Last. Bit. Of. You.”
Rainbow could feel her friend’s wings quiver, as her words and her massaging becoming more...sensual. A few quiet ‘eeps’ escaped the animal caretaker’s lips that you could barely hear if you strained your ears.
“It’s too bad that he lives all the way over in Appleloosa,” Rainbow shrugged, but then continued with a sly voice. “But there are other ponies here in Ponyville that are your type too, aren’t there?”
“U-uhm…m-maybe…?” Rainbow almost snorted at the remark, but stopped herself as to not snap Fluttershy out of her mood.
“Yeah there is. A certain other, muscular stallion comes to mind. One with a red coat?”
“M-mmm,” Fluttershy groaned, as Rainbow ran her hooves along the length of her wings. While it was not quite the same as sexual pleasure, it was very close to it, and with Fluttershy’s heat flaring up by Rainbow’s ministrations, Fluttershy could not tell the difference anyway.
“I can’t blame you for being interested in him. Watching him working in the fields is definitely a fun sight, how his coat glistens with sweat after a good workout yet it doesn’t seem like it faze him at all, and the big lug’s shyness is adorable.”
Rainbow could not help but blush a little herself as she thought back to all the times she had been watching Applejack’s big brother bucking apple trees. Totally by accident of course, she had just ‘happened’ to stray towards the fields during her practice, and who would pass up such a sight?
“But I bet that under all that silent act is one beast of a stallion when it comes to the bedroom,” Rainbow breathed. “Considering how big he is, there must be quite the package on the underside as well, eh?”
“U-...Uhhuh.”
Rainbow leaned over a little bit to see Fluttershy had her eyes closed and her front hooves pawing the bed. She stopped the wing massage for just long enough to reach over and move the stallion toy to Fluttershy’s hooves, where she picked it up.
“Imagine walking to him during his break from work, him lying in the cool grass, the strong, musky smell that must be coming off from him after all that apple bucking. But since he’s an Apple, he has the endurance of a dozen ponies, and he would be more than ready for some other kind of ‘relaxation’.”
“Y-yeah…” Fluttershy fiddles with the stallion toy, as if unsure what to do with it.
“Can’t take him right away, of course. You need to get a little taste of his stallionhood first to get him all ready for you.”
As if in trance, the yellow pegasus moved the toy upwards until it reached her lips, and she gave it a few tentative kisses, while Rainbow made sure to hit a sensitive spot in her massaging each time. Soon she moved to taking the head into her mouth and giving it a suck, before placing a few more kisses on it.
“That’s it…” Rainbow murmured into her ear encouragingly. She even gave a few brief nuzzles and ear nibbles before the act made her blush too much and she had to stop. She felt her heart pounding hard in her chest. This whole thing was going a bit further than she had anticipated, but as long as Fluttershy finally got some relief to her heat, she would go through with it.
She watched for a while, mesmerized as Fluttershy slowly gave head to the toy, completely forgetting that she was supposed to help her get in the mood. Rainbow quietly cleared her throat. “B-better not go too far though, wouldn’t want him to finish too quickly.
Fluttershy pulled the toy out of her mouth with an audible ‘pop’ and opened her eyes to stare at the thing. She seemed to hesitate for a moment, before she brought it downwards between her legs.
“He, um, would gently get on top of you, teasing you and making sure you are ready for him before going any further,” Rainbow instructed, although she could guess from the heavy scent in the air that Fluttershy was most likely ready. Still, she did not want to ruin everything now.
Fluttershy slid the toy all the way down to her glistening marehood, letting out a soft gasp. She gently rubbed the shaft of the toy against her, up and down, sending what felt like small lightning bolts up her body all the way to her wings. Rainbow, despite her gaze getting fixated on the stallion toy’s movement, kept up with the massage, switching to a kneading pattern.
It almost looks like the stallion toy is part of Fluttershy, she idly thought, a heavy blush once again creeping up her face.
Fluttershy kept up with the rubbing, soft moans escaping her every now and then. She would alternate with speeding up and slowing down but pressing the toy harder against herself. She was also slowly leaning backwards against Rainbow, and eventually the athlete had to stop giving the wing massage when she was practically holding her friend in her hooves. Unable to move lest she disrupt her friend, she switched to nuzzling the top of Fluttershy’s head again.
Rainbow squirmed in place as she watched Fluttershy play with herself, the quiet moans, the smells and the sensations making her restless. She could feel her tail wagging subconsciously, and her heart had not calmed down either.
I wonder what’s going through her head. All sorts of images of the red apple farmer was certainly going through Rainbow’s mind, and none of them were helping her current situation. A familiar burn was starting to make itself known in her nether regions. Aww tartarus, I’m going to need some relief myself after this, she sighed in her mind.
Rainbow allowed Fluttershy keep going at her place for a while, not wanting to interrupt her, but after a few minutes she felt herself getting more and more frustrated. The silly mare was still only lightly teasing herself, and from the looks of things, that was not going to change without intervention.
“It’s not like he would keep on doing that forever,” Rainbow eventually blurted out, a tad more jarringly than she meant to. If Fluttershy noticed, she did not seem to be bothered as she flipped the toy around so that one end was right at her quivering entrance.
She experimentally poked around with the toy, the slight jolts of pleasure causing more silent moans to escape her lips. She poked, prodded and flicked the toy at her marehood in an agonizingly teasing way, at least in Rainbow’s mind.
