It is another ordinary day in Ponyville, especially for Twilight Sparkle. Sometimes she wishes something exciting would happen now that all the evil has been vanquished. However, there's no going back to the past. She must look forward and try to find new activities and ways to spend her time. With the help of her friends, Twilight is sure she will be able to find happiness once again. If only there were some way she could get them together to help her out.

Just a Day, Just An Ordinary Day

Pinkie Pie walked into the Castle of Friendship. "Ouch!" she said. She walked through the doorway and saw Twilight standing there. "Hi, Twilight!" she said.

"Oh, hi Pinkie Pie!" said Twilight.

"What are you doing?" said Pinkie.

"Oh, I am just teaching friendship things," said Twilight.

"That sounds fun!" said Pinkie. "Do you want to come get some ice cream with me?" said Pinkie.

"I would love to!" said Twilight.

"Okay, let us go!" said Pinkie.

So the two ponies walked over to an ice cream shop. "We are here!" said Pinkie.

"That is great!" said Twilight. "What is your favourite ice cream flavour?" said Twilight.

"I LOVE ALL OF THEM!" said Pinkie. So Pinkie ordered a ten scoop ice cream cone. Twilight noticed the ice cream dripping down the side of the cone.

"It is melting!" said Twilight.

"Oh no!" said Pinkie. She licked it all up and finished the cone in under thirteen point thirty-seven seconds. "Wow, that was delicious!" said Pinkie. "Wow Twilight, you sure are a slow eater!" said Pinkie.

"No, you just ate yours really fast," said Twilight. She sighed.

Pinkie noticed Twilight sighing. "I noticed you just sighed, Twilight. How come?" said Pinkie.

"Oh, I was just thinking," said Twilight.

"About what?" said Pinkie.

"Well, ever since we sealed Discord in a trashcan where he belongs for all eternity, we haven't seen anything exciting," said Twilight.

"Is that a bad thing?" said Pinkie. "We spend less time worrying and have more time to PLAY!" said Pinkie.

Twilight stood up abruptly. "I am going to bed," said Twilight. Twilight walked away and went back home.

"But your ice cream!" said Pinkie. Then she noticed Twilight had thrown it on the ground and stepped on it. Pinkie shrugged. "If she won't eat it, I will!" Pinkie said aloud as she bent over and licked it all up.

Twilight Sparkle was in her room. "Wow, I think I might be bored," said Twilight. "What is wrong with me?" said Twilight. Twilight sat on her bed and picked up a book. After a few seconds, she threw it in the trash. "Wow, this is more boring than I remember," Twilight said. "I think I need the help of my friends. Maybe the power of friendship can make me happy again."

Rainbow Dash flew through the door. "Hi, Twilight! What did you call us all here for?" said Rainbow Dash.

"Is everything all right?" said Fluttershy.

"Hurry up, I have a party to go to," said Pinkie.

"I really don't want to be here," Applejack.

"Darling, I have a fashion show in the next hour," said Rarity.

Twilight turned around. She looked depressed. "Hi, everypony," said Twilight. "I called you all here today because I am sad. I want to know how to feel happy again," said Twilight.

Applejack threw an apple at Twilight, which hit straight in the head and sent the princess tumbling to the floor. "Ouch, what was that for, Applejack?" said Twilight.

"Oh, my bad," said Applejack with a smile. "It seems my aim is a little off today," Applejack said. "Any time I feel sad or upset, I just eat an apple and I feel all better!"

Twilight took a bite of the apple. She made a face. "I don't know if you got worse at growing apples or something, but this apple is disgusting," said Twilight. Applejack gasped and started crying.

"T-That ain't right!" said Applejack. She took the rest of the half-eaten apple from Twilight and took a bite herself. "Dear Celestia, this is bad! Big Mac musta done somethin' to em!" said Applejack. She ran straight out the door, tearing it off its hinges as she went.

"You are paying for that," said Twilight.

Fluttershy approached the princess with a smile. "Oh Twilight, I know just what will help you," said Fluttershy. She pulled out Angel Bunny from somewhere and handed him to her. "When I'm feeling sad, I just give Angel Bunny a hug and he cheers me right up," said Fluttershy.

Twilight did as she was told but threw the bunny against the wall after a few seconds.

"Why did you do that, Twilight!?" said Fluttershy angrily.

"Sorry Fluttershy, but he smells disgusting. When was the last time he showered?" said Twilight.

"Oh, um, oh dear, usually I am the one who washes him, so that must have been last year! But I don't think he should smell that bad." Fluttershy picked up the unconscious bunny and took a deep breath. She almost vomited at the pungent smell that hit her nostrils. "Wow, you are right, Twilight! He does smell like garbage! Let's go, Angel Bunny. You need a year long shower." With that, Fluttershy left the castle of friendship.

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. "Those two are so dramatic," said Rainbow Dash. "Come on, Twilight. Just fly with me for a bit so you can clear your head!"

Twilight slapped Rainbow Dash in the face. "I don't have wings!" said Twilight. "Stop making me feel even worse!"

Rainbow Dash looked up for a moment. "Oh, right!" she said. "Well, uh... see ya!" Rainbow Dash flew out of the Castle of Friendship so fast that she left a rainbow trail behind her.

Rarity wrapped a hoof around Twilight's back. "Darling, you'll be fine. Now, I really must get to that fashion show," said Rarity. She handed Twilight a ball of yarn and a pair of knitting needles. "Just use these to make something divine. I'll come back and see if I can sell it for profit. Money makes everypony happy," said Rarity happily. Then she too was gone.

Twilight picked up the ball of yarn and tried to do what Rarity suggested, but she poked a hole through her own hoof with the knitting needle. "OH CELESTIA, IT HURTS!" said Twilight. When she noticed none of her friends were around anymore, she flew into a rage. "I HATE YOU ALL!" said Twilight.

Nopony ever noticed Pinkie Pie had sneaked away during all the commotion. "Wow, Twilight is so annoying!" Pinkie Pie said to herself. "I don't want to be her friend anymore!"

hi everypony!!! :pinkiehappy: guess whose back!!!??? I AM!!! :pinkiegasp: so i asked my friend for some advice on my writing!!! :pinkiesad2: he gave me a simple idea to write about!! he told me he is really good and well known!! i actually got him to edit and prooveread this story for me he said i needed to use more adverbs or something??? i think they change the meaning of a sentence or something oh well i will learn later :derpytongue2: anyway plz tell me wat u think of my new style and stuff!!1 :pinkiesad2:
