Shatter Storm twists the events of the earlier episodes into a darker tale, triggered by the return of Nightmare Moon and lingering turmoil of the last Thousand years, all driven by the power of Discord. Without anypony able to rein him in, and enough troubles to go around, the world of Equestria begins to crumble under ever growing wickedness and despair. Twilight Sparkle and her friends face challenges that will bring them to the breaking point, and no pony is safe from the ceaseless storm.

Each chapter will begin and end in different parts of the greater story, some overlapping, others being stories all their own, and all connecting in one way or another. It will get a bit chaotic, try not to get too lost in the destruction of all you hold dear.

Backstory:
Back in 2013/14, I created a playlist of songs by SlyphStorm https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLGfw6f5oWW8aRKYQ8SVjgw As I listen to the tracks, I had ordered by where they fit in episode order or just felt good in a story, I started to play out a tale, one much darker than the show. It grew and evolved into a grim re-imagined version of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I wrote out a couple chapters, then abandoned it for a sequel story. After writing that, I decided to revisit the source, and in 2015 I put together my pieces and made the story whole.

Because of the source inspiration, I decided to title Prologues as Intro, Epilogue as Outro, and Chapters as Tracks.

Original version written between 09/24/2015 - 10/03/2016 This is an older story, written when the show was only at Season 5, I have been cleaning it up, but will not add things to updated it, only refine my original words and stories.
