Choose the Hippogriffs/Seaponies Part 1

As Flurry Heart ran from the throne room in the palace, she didn't know what to do for a few minutes and then she figured it was best to run away somewhere, maybe to another kingdom far from the Crystal Empire. Thinking about it quickly before her parents could get the Crystal guards to come make sure she didn't do anything foolish, she had her answer. Galloping to the Crystal Empire train station, and trying her best to avoid any attention, which was hard since she was a princess, Flurry waited as patiently as she could for the next train going to her destination to arrive and once the Friendship Express did arrive Flurry got in. Taking an empty seat by the window which faced her home, Flurry sat down, staring at the palace as the train slowly started to move again, going up to its full speed as the Empire disappeared from view soon.

Flurry sighed as she laid down and decided to get some rest, if she could, while on the train, for it was going to be a long journey. In fact it was an overnight trip as the morning came and the train was about to reach its destination. As Flurry woke up, stretching herself, she looked out the window, the train currently going over a land bridge as her destination was slightly off the mainland as her stop was an island just off the coastline.

"Coming up on our stop, Mt. Aris!" The conductor announced as he came into the train car Flurry was in before he went on to the next car.

Flurry got up and with other ponies, as well as hippogriffs, letting her go up first, she waited by the train car door as the train rolled to a stop at the station. The door opened and Flurry trotted out, being greeted by the sea air which was rather comforting. Flurry had been to Mt. Aris and Seaquestria, below Mt. Aris, before when her parents visited and she came along, she loved the home of the hippogriffs and seaponies, they were very welcoming and had so much hospitality to give, to the point that it was almost embarrassing.

As Flurry trotted through Mt. Aris, the hippogriffs either bowed in respect or gasped and smiled as Flurry nervously smiled or waved back, a little uncomfortable with the attention. Flurry just wanted to spend some alone time in the most peaceful place she knew on Mt. Aris, the Harmonizing Heights, a place where she could quietly reflect on the terrible event from long ago. Only her trot there ended very shortly as up ahead was a light pink female hippogriff, with a blue and silver mane, wearing some causal royal wear, accompanied by an older light blue male hippogriff with a light and silver mane, wearing some hippogriff guard armor, as well as a younger white male hippogriff with a light blue mane. The trio was trotting up ahead, chatting with each other, that is until the female noticed Flurry and was rather surprised, but delighted to see the crystal princess.

"Princess Flurry Heart!" The female shouted as she trotted quickly in front of Flurry. "Been awhile since I last seen you."

"You too, Silverstream or I guess it's Princess Silverstream now?" Flurry asked, having took note of the royal wear.

Flurry had met Silverstream, the niece to Queen Novo, a few times before, here and at the School of Friendship in Ponyville when Silverstream was a student there. Like Flurry, Silverstream grew up to become the next princess of both Mt. Aris and Seaquestria, taking her cousin's place, Skystar, while Skystar took her mother's place, Novo, as the next queen when Novo decided to retire and felt it was time for Skystar to take her place.

"I heard you very recently became a princess, so this is your first time coming here as one, how exciting!" Silverstream was all happy, jumping up and down.

"Auntie Twily wasn't lying when she said Silverstream was very energetic." Flurry thought in her head.

"Oh, where are my manners!?" Silverstream continued as the two male hippogriffs with her came up. "Flurry, you remember my dad Sky Beak and brother Terramar right?"

"A pleasure to meet you, your majesty." Sky Beak bowed and smiled. "You have grown a little since I have last seen you."

"Thank you sir." Flurry nervously replied.

"So why are you here?" Terramar asked, hoping not to be rude.

"Oh, I just came to discuss some important matters with the queen and princess on behalf of my parents." Flurry quickly thinking of a convincing lie.

"Weird, we didn't get any letter from the Crystal Empire..." Silverstream putting a hoof on her chin.

"Oh, well I wanted to leave as soon as possible." Flurry keeping up the ruse.

"Well whatever the case, your time is good, my wonderful daughter here was just about to go back to Seaquestria to keep the queen updated on Mt. Aris and to spend the next week with her mother." Sky Beak smiled as the timing was perfect, well perfect for the hippogriffs, not so much for Flurry.

"That sounds great." Flurry replied.

"I'll see you two in about a week, love you two!" Silverstream hugging her father and brother at the same time as they returned the hug, Flurry feeling some emotional pain in her heart seeing this as the trio let go of the hug and Sky Beak kissed his daughter on the cheek.

"Have fun and tell your mother I said I love her." Sky Beak finished.

"Me too." Terramar quickly brought up.

"Will do." Silverstream bowed, Sky Beak bowing back as she turned to the crystal princess.

"Come on Princess Flurry Heart." Silverstream happily said as Silverstream went to the beach lining the island's coast and trotted into the water, Flurry following as she felt the cold water cool her hooves as Silverstream held out a hoof, Flurry holding on to it.

Flurry wasn't scared of course as she knew Silverstream had her tiny piece of the magic pearl, the pearl that helped transform the hippogriffs into seaponies and holding on to Silverstream spread that magic to her as the two transformed from their hippogriff/pony forms into seaponies. Silverstream kept her light pink body and blue and silver mane and tail, but her legs and hooves were gone, replaced by purplish wings and a pair of arms. Flurry changed as she kept her pink body and violet and blue mane and tail, having now a pair of pink arms, pinkish wings and her cutie mark on her fins. As the two were turned into their seapony forms they went down below sea level as they were greeted with schools of fish swimming about as Silverstream saw Seaquestria.

"Come on princess, lets go quickly visit my mother first." Silverstream suggested.

"Lead the way." Flurry replied as the two swam into Seaquestria.

Flurry actually loved Seaquestria, a little better than even Mt. Aris, she imagined the Crystal Empire would look like Seaquestria if it was underwater as just like on Mt. Aris, Flurry could not avoid the bows and stares of the local seaponies as they recognized the crystal princess. Eventually they arrived as Silverstream stopped at one of the underwater houses, the home where her mother lived, Silverstream entered as there was a Yellowish female seapony with a pair of yellowish arms as well as purplish mane, fins, and tail, in what looked like a kitchen.

"Mom!" Silverstream said loudly to get her mother's attention.

"Silverstream!" Silverstream's mom replied just as loudly as she swam froward to give her daughter a hug. "It's so good to see you my princess daughter."

"Mom, stop it." Silverstream blushed. "Flurry, this is my mother Ocean Flow, if you remember and mom, this is..."

"Flurry Heart!" Ocean Flow said happily.

"It's actually Princess Flurry Heart now." Flurry corrected Ocean Flow. "Or well used to be..." Flurry said in her head as she hid the truth.

"My, my, my home must be very popular if I get many visits from Equestrian royalty." Ocean Flow smiled.

"Well mom, we should get to the queen." Silverstream remembering the other important reason why they came down.

"Oh sweetie, can't you stay for a quick snack?" Ocean Flow stopping her daughter. "I actually just made a fresh batch of your favorite."

"Kelp Fritters!?" Silverstream clapping her seapony hooves, to which Ocean Flow only smiled more to confirm her daughter's statement. "Well, I guess the Mt. Aris updates can wait a little longer." Silverstream shrugging as she took a seat at the kitchen table.

"Would you like some too, princess, there's plenty to share." Ocean Flow asked Flurry.

"Oh no, I don't want to be taking your food..." Flurry nervously answered.

"Nonsense, you're my guest and should be treated right, plus my daughter's going to take awhile, she always eats the most whenever I make a fresh batch." Ocean Flow chuckled while seeing her daughter stuff her face.

"Well, if you insist, I shouldn't deny your kindness." Flurry said as she took the seat next to Silverstream and ate some of the fritters, which was actually quite delicious.
