Children Of Madness

Luna opens her eyes, she quickly stands as she looks around her seeing nothing but darkness. Luna runs trying to figure what happened and how she got here and she hears a chuckle. Luna looks around to find the source of the chuckle but not a site to be seen in any direction. Luna then has a flash in her mind as she recalls the last memory she had, she grows cold as she remembers a beam went through her chest and she was lying on the floor. She staggers in the realization of what happened to her in the castle, Luna then tries flying out of the darkness and cold void. Sadly she hits an invisible ceiling and she falls to the ground hard. Luna breathing hard trying to figure a way out hear footsteps coming closer to her, emerging from the darkness like a veil revealing the demon that put her here Fear. With a toothed grin he speaks and says, " We should have a conversation before you meet death, wouldn't you agree aunt? ".

============== Canterlot Hosptial ===========

Celestia with dried tears on her cheeks as she watches over her sister, machines hooked up to her to keep her alive and breathing. Celestia thinks in her head how all this could have happened, she took every precaution and made sure he would stay sealed. She sighs and says. " Silver I'm sorry please forgive me. I failed you and broke my promise. ". She thinks in her mind of her promise to Silver lightning.

============= Many Years after Fear's defeat ==========

Silver stands next to Celestia and says in her bed chambers, " Princess I hope I am not crossing the line but I still have nightmares from that creature and what he was doing and what he was planning to do. Are we sure we can't just destroy the skull and kill him? ". Celestia looks at him and sighs saying, " We can't. Fear's body is harder to destroy than we though. We tried destroying the skull in many ways but not a single scratch.". Silver looking down and Celestia goes to him and holds his muzzle up and says, " I have faith in Lord light and in this plan and I promise you now Silver that Fear will never rise and Equestria will never fall under his terror again. ". Celestia smiles softly as silver looks at her and says, " Thank you princess and I promise to you that If he returns in my lifetime, I will defend you with my last breath. ". Silver bows to her making his promise and she smiles and nods.

========== Present day Equestria ==========

Celestia goes out of the room to the main six and asks them, " Are you all alright? ". The Main six nod and Twilight asks Celestia, " Princess what was that. thing? I've never felt power like that before nor felt so much hate and negative energy in my life. ". Celestia looks at them and explains to them all that Fear was meant to be an experiment to understand how evil can be in Equestria, but they didn't know the experiment can give life to a monster. Celestia Explains how Fear is an intelligent creature, strong, and deadly even without his powers he is a deadly weapon. The main six listen and are shocked how Fear single-handedly took out village after village and left nothing behind but blood and mangled bodies. Celestia says, " After years of madness and blood and eating the souls of his victims he was too strong I had to do something along with my Capitan and the army we faced the beast and many deaths and casualties we finally trapped him with a powerful spell thanks to a friend. The spell was to last for a thousand years but sadly well you know what happened. ". Celestia's head down eyes closed. Twilight looks at her and says, " How do we beat him this time princess? ". Celestia looks at them surprised and the girls look at each other and nod waiting for Celestia's plan.

Luna looks at Fear and charges at him and he turns to a mist. Surprised Luna turns around and sees him reformed and he chuckles and says, " Please, I'm just here to talk and make you an offer aunt. ". Fear girns and a chair for himself and one for Luna and a table with tea. Cautious she steps towards him and he motions to keep coming and she finally sits down and looks at him and asks's, " Where are we? and what offer? ". Fear chuckles and looks at her drinking tea and says, " We are in the between worlds of Heaven and Tartarus. Right now your soul is being decided if it deserves to be brought back or move on if you will. ". Luna surprised and looks around and Fear looks over at her and he puts the teacup and saucer down and says, " I can smell your fear from your soul, and I'm not even dead to smell it. ".

Luna looks at him and asks, " Then how are you talking to me in the between worlds? ". Fear chuckles and looks at her his clawed hands on the table, " One of the original powers I was made with is of the mind. This is what is called soul projection, which means I'm talking to you soul to soul. " Fear responds. Luna looks at him a bit worried and she hears Celestia crying from above as she looks but sees nothing but darkness. Fear with a grin snaps and a red ring appears in the sky and Luna with tears watches as she sees her body in terrible shape and her sister in tears. " Why show me this demon? " Luna asks looking at him with anger towards him. Fear looks at her with his twisted smile showing his sharp pointed teeth stained with blood, a smile the devil himself would shudder too. Fear then says, " I show this cause I can bring you back. "

Luna surprised and looks at him and says, " What? how can you bring anyone back? For I know you are just a liar just to toy with me. ". Fear then chuckles lightly and looks at her and says, " I see my mother has told you about me. Though I am with faults, I may be twisted, murderous, and full-blown mad but I do keep my promises though I rarely do make them. ". Luna looks at him and with curiosity, she asks, " What would you want if I do agree? ". Fear grins and says with a grin, " What I want is you aunt. ". Luna looks confused and asks, " You mean my soul? So you really are a demon huh? ". Fear then laughs an ungodly laugh and after a bit, he chuckles and flicks a tear on the table, and Luna sees the tear sizzles and makes a hole in the table. Fear now calmer says to her, " No no no my dear aunt I wish for you to join me. Your raw power of darkness and nightmares just think of the things we can accomplish together. ".

Luna gets up and says angrily, " I am not that monster anymore I would never hurt my subjects ever again I will be the kind ruler my sister is, I have finally been redeemed and will not ruin it. ". Fear chuckles and says, " What if I sweeten the deal aunt? If you join me I will not kill Celestia. I will not lay a single finger on her main. ". Fear can see he is in her head now as she is thinking it over and he smiles watching her tear herself apart to either take his deal or refuse and put her sister in danger. She looks at him and he stands before her holding his hand out and a crimson red fire engulfs his hand to seal the deal. Her hoof raises up and when she is about to shake she shakes her head and slaps it away and screams, " We will never make any deals with you demon! If you dare hurt our sister we will make sure you suffer an eternal nightmare of pain and humiliation! ".

Fear then chuckles and laughs and looks at her and says, " My dear aunt, I am what nightmares run away from, I am what lays in the minds of every pony, griffon, dragon, in all life forms. I am the Insanity you lock away with chains and locks. I will always be aunt in many ways. ". Fear then starts walking away but before he leaves he says, " Think about my offer we will talk again aunt but right now its time to go. ". Fear then vanishes and then a bright light shines on Luna as she breaths hard and she opens her eyes and looks around her and she sees her sister looking at her. Celestia with tears and a smile she hugs Luna and is so happy that her sister is alive. Luna smiles and groans still hurting a bit but in her mind what Fear said worries her.

========== Outside of a village somewhere in Equestria ========

The ponies work in this small village as the children play ball or hide and seek. Suddenly the sky is thundering and it starts raining but the ponies notice the rain is red and thick. The Village confused and worried as they hold the children close and put them inside as they see at the entrance is ten to twenty ponies and dragons with glowing red eyes and strange horns stand there. Then suddenly just as they came they charge in and start to do what they were ordered to do, Slaughter everypony in the village.
