Author's Note
I started this story in September of 2016, and now, two-and-a-half years later, am finally posting it! I hope you enjoy it!
Chapter 1
Rainbow Dash placed a tiny saucer of milk on the wooden floor, then sat herself down so she was straddling it. It didn’t take long for an adorable calico kitten to come right over and start lapping at the milk happily.
Rainbow smiled sweetly as she pet the tiny cat, and felt her lower abdomen getting warmer with each motion. Even though there couldn’t have been more than a teaspoon’s worth of milk in the dish, it seemed like the kitten lapped on forever…
Rainbow couldn’t help it any longer - she just had to touch herself. As the dream room faded from her mind, she felt her inner walls contract around her fingers as she gasped aloud.
Once her vision cleared, she realized what had happened, but one question burned in her mind.
“Why in Equestria did a dream about a cat make me orgasm?!”
After breakfast, Rainbow Dash flew down to Fluttershy’s cottage. As her pink-haired friend fed Angel his morning carrots, Rainbow explained her dream - but left out the sexual details, of course.
“Well, I’m no dream expert, but maybe you just want to pet a cat!” Fluttershy concluded as Angel dug into his meal. She then turned around and whistled softly. “C’mere Butterscotch!”
After a few seconds, Fluttershy bent down and picked up the tiny cat. It meowed happily in her arms as she turned back to face Rainbow Dash. Rainbow’s eyes went wide as her friend presented her with the calico cat she saw in her dream.
“Have you had that kitten for long, Fluttershy?” Rainbow asked as she cautiously took the small creature from her friend.
“No.” Fluttershy shook her head. “He actually just showed up on my doorstep earlier this morning!” She scratched the adorable kitten’s chin and his purr machine started up. “He was so hungry and dirty, I just had to take him in and help him!”
Rainbow looked down at the kitten and their eyes met. He meowed up at her, and she started petting him. The cat’s expression told both girls that he was in absolute heaven.
“Aw, he likes you!” Fluttershy remarked as she turned towards the kitchen. “I don’t have any milk, but maybe you could try giving him some water, Dash.”
Rainbow’s hand stopped moving, and Butterscotch the kitten looked up at her, expecting her to start again. But Rainbow was scared; she wasn’t aroused at the moment, but what if seeing the kitten lap at the water turned her on?
Before she knew it though, Fluttershy brought over a small dish of water and put it in her frozen hand. “Go ahead, don’t be shy!”
In an attempt to cover her nervousness, Rainbow replied with, “Yeah, that’s your schtick anyways. It’s like, part of your name.” She chuckled stiffly as she set down both Butterscotch and the water dish, then sat herself down on the floor.
Like in her dream, she straddled the dish, but it wasn’t so close to her groin this time. Butterscotch came right over and started lapping up the water.
Rainbow watched for a few seconds, then started petting the tiny cat. Butterscotch mewed happily, then returned to the water.
Rainbow felt happy and at peace and… not horny. She mentally breathed a sigh of relief.
Rainbow Dash held the bone firmly in her hand as the fluffy white dog bounded towards her. She squeezed her eyes shut, preparing for impact, when she heard it skid to a halt right in front of her. She opened her eyes to see the dog panting and staring at the bone.
“You want this, huh?” Rainbow said as she put the bone right in front of her hips, pointing out towards the dog’s snout. It barked in response. “Alright, then, go for it!”
The dog barked happily again as it started licking the end of the bone. Once again, Rainbow felt her lower abdomen heating up, and realized that it looked like the dog was giving her a blowjob.
“Aw, c’mon!” She yelled aloud, waking Tank, her tortoise, briefly. When she realized she wasn’t in the dream anymore, she found her hand in her pajama shorts.
“Did you have the cat dream again?” Fluttershy asked as she opened her front door for Rainbow Dash.
“No, it was a dog this time.” Rainbow replied as she scratched the back of her head. “I was uh… playing with it.”
“You know Rainbow, you don’t have to use dreams as an excuse to come play with my animals.” Fluttershy giggled.
“I really am having these dreams though, Fluttershy!” Rainbow replied a little louder than she meant to. Angel shushed her.
“I know, I was just teasing,” Fluttershy smiled sweetly as she put her hand on her friend’s shoulder. “We got another new family member today, actually. A big fluffy Samoyed dog!”
Rainbow raised an eyebrow. “Is it white? Really friendly?”
“Oh yes!” Fluttershy nodded enthusiastically as she lead Rainbow out the back door. “Ruffy! C’mere sweetie!”
Immediately a large white fuzzy head poked up from some bushes a ways away. Fluttershy thrusted a tug-of-war toy into Rainbow’s hands and called out, “Ruffy! Time to play!”
The dog bursted out from the bushes. It was huge; or maybe it was just the fluffiness of its coat making it look that way, Rainbow wasn’t sure. Rainbow squeezed her eyes shut and braced for impact - just like in her dream. “Please don’t turn me on, please don’t turn me on…” she repeated in her head.
“Aaaaaaand… stop!” Fluttershy commanded the dog. Rainbow eased one eye open, then opened the other when she saw Ruffy sitting at her feet, wagging its tail excitedly. “Ruffy’s ready when you are, Rainbow!” Fluttershy then went off to another part of her property, presumably to take care of her other animals.
“Uh, hi… Ruffy,” Rainbow cringed at the horribly generic name. “Can’t Fluttershy come up with something better to call you?” She wondered out loud as she leaned down to pet the fluffy dog with her free hand. Ruffy leaned into her palm, and Rainbow couldn’t help but smile.
After a bit of petting, Rainbow asked, “Wanna play with this?” Ruffy nodded excitedly as it stepped back. “Alright, here we go!”
Ruffy took hold of one end, and the tug-of-war started ferociously.
By the time Rainbow got home that night, her arms felt like jelly - who knew that a dog would want to play tug-of-war for 3 hours straight?!
As she stripped off her shirt, she mused aloud, “What in Equestria do these dreams mean? I’m glad that I’m not attracted to animals - that would just be too awkward - but I wish I had some answers…” She shivered as a cool breeze wafted across the small of her back.
“Did I leave the window open…?” She thought in the back of her mind as she turned around to shut it-
“RAINBOW DASH.”
“AAAHHH!” Rainbow screamed.
“We apologize! We did not mean to frighten you!” Princess Luna was standing between Rainbow and her bedroom window, her star-glittered hair wafting in the gentle night breeze that always seemed to surround her.
“Princess, OHMYGOSH,” Rainbow immediately dropped to one knee and bowed her head. “It’s alright, I’m honored you’re here.” She looked up at the Princess then. “...Why are you here?”
“You requested our aid, did you not?” Luna confidently strode towards the pegasus, who just realized that she was standing in front of one of the ETERNAL PRINCESSES OF EQUESTRIA in nothing but her sports bra and tiny pajama shorts.
“I, uh… I don’t think I did?” Rainbow raised an eyebrow.
“Do you not require dream interpretation, then?” Luna offered her hand, which Rainbow took. The Princess helped Rainbow to her feet.
“OH!” Rainbow lightly hit her own forehead. “I was just thinking out loud. But now that you mention it, yeah, any light you can shed on these dreams would be great.”
Luna sat down on Rainbow Dash’s bed, and patted the spot next her. Rainbow did as she was directed, and wondered if there was some “proper” way she was supposed to sit. If Luna was offended by Rainbow’s lack of manners, she did not express so.
“We,” The Princess started loudly, still using the Royal Voice, which made Rainbow wince. She cleared her throat, and started again at a much lower volume. “I will try my best to not use that high volume. I apologize.”
“No sweat,” Rainbow immediately replied.
“Your dreams are the tamest ones of their kind I’ve ever seen, to be honest,” Luna smiled a little, but Rainbow was confused. “As you know, I can go into others’ dreams. And because of how important you and your friends are to Equestria, I check in on your circle quite frequently.” Rainbow Dash nodded in understanding. She also felt a swell of pride in her chest - “important,” that felt good.
Luna continued. “I have experienced many kinds of dreams over the years, and I know what kind yours are.” Rainbow’s ears perked up - here was her answer!
“It’s been awhile since you… fornicated, hasn’t it?”
Rainbow’s jaw dropped first, then she dropped her whole head into her hands.
“I am sorry, Rainbow Dash! I did not mean to upset you!” Luna put her hands in front of her chest, palms out.
Rainbow raised her head, tears brimming in her eyes. “I’M TURNING INTO A… A… PERSON WHO WANTS TO HAVE SEX WITH ANIMALS, AREN’T I?”
Luna blinked hard a couple of times before dropping her hands. “No, no. Oh goodness, Rainbow Dash, I am so sorry I made you think that.” Luna, without thinking, embraced Rainbow Dash and started smoothing her hair. It was something Celestia would do for her to try to calm her down.
Rainbow sniffled a little and let herself enjoy the Princess’s hug. They parted slowly, then Rainbow rubbed at her eyes. “I’m not?” Luna shook her head “no.” “Well, that’s a relief. What do you mean, then?”
Luna took a breath, then answered. “You’re feeling repressed sexually. Your subconscious is expressing this through your dreams, albeit in the most tame way I’ve ever seen. But these kinds of sexual tension dreams are rarely straightforward. Trust me when I say that I’ve seen some very out-there ones.” Both Rainbow and Luna giggled at that.
“So you’re saying I need to... have sex, and these dreams will go away?” Rainbow asked shyly.
“They should, yes.” Luna nodded.
The two sat in silence for a moment, then Luna turned her body towards Rainbow. “I could… help you with that, if you would like.”
