The soul is the most important part of a creature. If one was to lose sight of what's important, they might lose their soul. It is said that the ones closest to the light, cast the greatest shadows.

So, it stands to reason that the brightest one in our country could be compromised. Or at least that was his reasoning. Now, Shining Armor was about to do something to make sure they would be safe.
