Canterlot City Mall: Mellow Zone Smoke Shop, April 19th, 2019
It went without saying that the spring time in Canterlot City was a busy time. In the month of April in particular the mall was very busy with parents and young adults bustling around trying to get what they needed for the coming weekend. Not only was it going to be spring break meaning students all over were out of school for an entire week but during that week long break there were two heavily celebrated holidays.
Of the the two however Aria only cared about the one that involved bongs, bud, and lots of snack food. 4/20 otherwise known as National Weed day or Stoner Christmas as Aria liked to address it ever since she was around for the creation of the holiday back in the late 70's. That was when it had become really popular to be a stoner even though it was massively more illegal then which Aria would never understand.
'Stupid humans going to war over a plant that literally doesn't kill them. dumbasses'Aria said rolling her eyes as she stood behind the register and counter of the smoke shop run by the towns resident hippie, animal rights activist, cannabis activist and all around beloved pothead Tree-Hugger. The stores uniforms having been designed by Rarity and her newest intern; her sister Adagio. As the clock droned on and on Aria continued to look bored wondering when she would be able to clock out.
"Yo-Yo Pigtails!" a scraggly annoying voice said breaking Aria from her stupor.
Groaning hearing the voice Aria turned her head to see a familiar foam green skinned blonde douche. "What took your ass so long Zeph?"
Zephyr Breeze gave a cheesy smile and leaned on the counter. "Aw c'mon no need for the cold shoulder Blazed; I just wanted to see what you were doin' for weed day. With Hugs going away I got no one to hang out with." Zephyr asked nonchalantly.
Aria shrugged and cracked open a can of soda she had sitting on the counter as she drummed her fingers on the counter "Well sucks to be you because I already got plans. Why don't you just go smoke with Maud or something? I'm just gonna be hold up in my room with my favorite bong tomorrow and a couple movies."
"Sheesh and here I thought you'd wanna at least smoke and chill with Flutters. Some girlfriend you are." Zephyr said rolling his eyes.
"What're you talking about? Shy said she'd be hangin' out with Rainbow tomorrow and she doesn't smoke." Aria said with a confused expression on her face. She and Fluttershy had been dating for about a month and a half now, taking things slowly but enjoying dating. Fluttershy's sweetness helped even out Aria's aggression and Aria was very helpful in getting the meek little butterfly to spread her wings a little more and be more outgoing and assertive.
The little brother scoffed and put on a hurt expression. "Ouch it almost hurts to know that I know my big sister better than her girlfriend does; it's gonna be her birthday tomorrow or have you not been paying attention?" He said with a cocksure grin on his face and arms crossed.
Aria did a spit-take directly at Zephyr, her soda and saliva splashing all over his face and getting his fancy hairdo wet and messy. Ignoring his girlish screams her eyes went wide as she tugged at her pigtail. "Aaaargh how could I be such a fucking dunce?! That's Sonata's job!!" Aria said to no one in particular.
"Aaaaaah! My hair! I just had it done yesterday!!! You totally owe me like eighty bones!" Zephyr stated dramatically with his hair drenched in spit out soda.
Aria flipped him off and continued to internally and outwardly freak out over having not remembered or even asked about her girlfriends birthday but then was getting a little sour that she wasn't told or if she was told that she didn't remember. With this whole 'redemption' and 'change for the better' thing she and the other Dazzlings were doing with the other Rainbooms since having joined their group of friends a couple months ago during new years she hadn't really been keeping track of many things especially since she and the other siren's weren't living together anymore.
The Rainboom's had since graduated from High school and were all now leading their lives as they desired with Canterlot offering many opportunities for them all. The dazzling's being new to their group had been taking these past few months to adjust and the first thing that meant was each of them adjusting to living with each of the rainbooms. Adagio took up residence with Sunset Shimmer, Sonata shacked up with Pinkie Pie and Aria got roomed with Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash since those two were roommates now.
It goes without saying that the first few days and weeks of the dazzlings coming back and trying to reform was not easy. There were many screaming matches, storming off's, cries on one another's shoulders and in the case of Rainbow and Aria and even Sunset and Adagio? Actual legit fist fighting. The only one who didn't really have much of a problem adjusting was Sonata but that was because she was never really that bad to begin with mostly just following what her fellow siren's told her since she was the youngest and most impressionable.
Though after all that was said and done and everyone came to an understanding; Aria and Rainbow shook hands and accepted one another's strength with Fluttershy taking an interest in Aria in wanting to help her manage her anger and mellow out. It was Fluttershy who got her the job she currently held, Fluttershy who had been forever patient with her even in her worst moments, Fluttershy who had been her shoulder to cry on and ear to scream in when she was having a bad day or just needed to vent.
'She's listened to all my angry rants and even knows about the date I got banished here and yet I can't even be bothered to remember her birthday!? Argh way to go seaweed for brains!' Aria internally groaned and she physically tugged at her pigtails in annoyance but then remembering the breathing exercises Fluttershy and Tree-Hugger taught her? She takes a deep calming breath, sings a short little tune and she took another breath and her mind was calm.
"How old is she turning?" Aria asked as she went to the counter behind her to grab her things.
"21; I think Rainbow said she was gonna come here and buy her a gift but I don-hey don't try and change the subject!! You still owe me for-!" Zephyr began to say but then got a few bills stuffed in his mouth and then Aria backhand snap smacked him in the groin causing him to squeal and fall to the ground with a mighty thud clutching his now aching balls.
"Nut check! Thanks dick-weed. Shifts over. See ya!" Aria said using her ID card to clock out for the day seeing that the clock read 4 pm which was her time to clock out since she had been there since 10 am. Looking at her phone she shot a text to Rainbow asking where she and Fluttershy were and she got the response that they were at Sugarcube corner.
With his voice high pitched and the money she stuffed in his mouth now on the floor he held his aching scrotum and squeaked out "She smacked me in the dick...why...why did she smack me in the dick?!"
Sugarcube Corner; Canterlot City
"Um D-Dashie? I'm not so sure about this. W-What if we get caught and someone calls the police?" Fluttershy said in her usual shy manner as she waited with Rainbow Dash for Treehugger at Sugarcube corner.
"Relax Shy; this wouldn't be the first time I've done a deal with Hugs in public. Besides everyone in town knows she's a stoner and she grows legally. Cops around here have a lot better things to worry about than a couple college kids getting high on something that's mostly legally anyway." Rainbow said in a voice moderate enough to where only Fluttershy could hear her but otherwise she was rather nonchalant unlike her pink haired shy friend.
"I-I know; I'm sorry. I know you know what you're doing. I guess I'm just um...nervous and uh...I feel a bit um..." Fluttershy tried to say something but it came out in her usual mumble but Rainbow could perfectly understand her having known the shy girl so long.
"Guilty? Why? Shy c'mon you know you don't have to blaze with me if you don't really want to. I've told you this every year since junior year." Rainbow Dash said taking a sip of her milkshake.
"W-Well I know and It's not that I don't want to...I do but it's just well I kinda wish that Aria could join us." Fluttershy said poking her fingers together.
"Oh? Well why didn't you just ask? I'm sure Ari would love to! Heh I mean she blazes more than Tree-Hugger does and that's a tough thing to accomplish. Still can't believe she know's her parents!" Rainbow said with a laugh recounting the story that Aria told her about who she smoked a bunch of weed with Tree-Hugger's mom and dad when they were in college back in the 70's and how Aria was the reason the two of them were weed loving hippies.
"I know; it was hard to believe until they showed us that picture of them at Woodstock." Fluttershy said and then blushed a bit deeper. "It's even weirder that she even knows my mom and knew her during her more 'rebellious phase'"
"Heh still not gonna lie Shy; your mom looked HOT when she was 21. Guess we can see where you get it from eh?" Rainbow teased with a chuckle and wink at her shy friend. While Rainbow herself had't filled out as much in the chest area having the smallest breasts in the group right behind Rarity; Fluttershy on the other hand had the BIGGEST breasts out of their group of friends with puberty having hit her like a truck the last few years.
Fluttershy blushed and pouted puffing out her cheeks in an adorable manner. "You're one the talk; she knows your mom too" Fluttershy said with a blush as a taught ran through her head but then just before she could finish her thought she was cut off by a familiar voice.
"And I munched both their rugs too case you were curious" Aria said with a devious smirk as she came up behind them both startling them both getting a delightful squeak out of Fluttershy both for the flustering comment and for sneaking up on her.
"Eeep! A-Aria!? How...when did..."Fluttershy wondered just how the siren managed to sneak up on them both and Aria simply replied with.
"I'm batman" She said in a comically gravely voice as she wrapped an arm around Fluttershy pretending to be the dark knight of Gotham.
"Hehe c'mon and let Flutter-Ivy go Aria; whats up? We were just waitin' on Hugs." Rainbow said making some room for Aria to sit down in the booth that she and Fluttershy were sitting at.
"Fancy that; I was just gonna hit her up myself. It was her day off at the shop today since she's getting ready to travel to Coltarado for the 4/20 festival. I wanna go with her but she didn't get an extra invite but it's alright." Aria said putting on a pouty look at Fluttershy doing her best to look cross at the meek girl. "So when were you gonna remind me of your birthday huh?"
Fluttershy's face lit up red with a blush and she shrank into her seat mumbling apologizes.
"Hmph y'know that really hurts. But fine! It's not like I wanted to spend time with you on your birthday and shower you with affection and maybe even swipe your V-card or anything!" Aria said playing up the tsundre card and also playing on the fact that she knew that Fluttershy wanted to lose her virginity but each time they had attempted the shy girl chickened out. However on weed day? When the girl would be calm and relaxed perhaps at last the two could enjoy one another all the way.
Rainbow snorting milkshake in to fast and it spewed out of her nose with how hard she started laughing and everyone around them who had heard what Aria said shared a laugh too. It was then Rainbow got up and went to the bathroom to clean her face off while Aria sat there with a red blushing Fluttershy who herself was now pouting.
"Hehehe ooooooh scary" Aria teased with a grin similar to Adagio's as she dared to meek girl to try and make her stop teasing.
"Y-You're a meanie!" Fluttershy said in a cute high-pitched tone as she tried to be aggressive and get Aria to cease her teasing even though she enjoyed it on some guilty pleasure level.
"And you're an adorable little squeaky toy. So ha!" Aria replied with a grin still looking to see what the shy girl would to do make her stop. "What're you gonna do about it hu-mmmmph!?" Aria wasn't prepared for the shy girl to pounce forward and snatch her lips up in a heated kiss and she especially didn't expect her tongue to attack her own so vigorously. While the two had not had any form of sex yet they had make out sessions often though Aria wanted to ensure that on her birthday she would give Fluttershy everything she wanted.
With the siren's lips captured Fluttershy sank into the girls lap and wrapped her arms around her, her large pillow like yellow breasts pressing into Aria as she kissed her deep on the lips with everyone watching. It made her blush burn and desire burn deeper within her; she wanted to go further with Aria but there was this nagging little voice in her head or fear that stopped her each time it came close to getting really good. Though soon? No longer!
It was then another familiar voice broke them apart from one another. "Duuuuuudes; nice. But like could use a little bit more tongue though" A stoned voice said from behind them.
"Eeeep!" Fluttershy yelped, bouncing in place on Aria's lap with in turn made the siren yelp a little which got a chuckle out of the long awaited stoner who had made her presence known.
Standing at about Fluttershy's height was a plant green skin colored girl with orange stripped hair and flower crown upon her head. Her primary eye color was purple however they had a glossy sheen to them that clearly showed that as usual; she was high off her ass. She wore a red, yellow and green shirt that showed off a decent amount of her midriff and her cleavage. Along with a pair of blue jeans and black sneakers, a brown backpack slugged over her shoulder and her aroma was one of dank weed, flowers, honeysuckle and just nature in general.
"Sup Shyness, Blazed." Tree Hugger said in her normal mellowed out tone throwing up a peace sign to say hello as usual.
"H-Hi Tree Hugger" Fluttershy said with a smile now a little more calm
"Sup Hugs. Hows packin' going for the trip?" Aria asked giving a fist bump to the hippie girl.
"Pretty rad, I just got done packing up the family van and now I'm just making my last couple of bud runs to my most loyal's. Speaking of which where Dashie?" Tree Hugger wondered looking around.
"Oh she went to the bathroom to wash her face, Aria made a joke earlier and Rainbow shot milkshake out of her nose....again" Fluttershy said with a small sigh and roll of her eyes with how prone to that her best friend and Pinkie Pie were.
"Heheh that makes sense. Well till she gets here you girls wanna see what I got? I really just started my rounds so you babes are the first ones I'm hitting up." Tree Hugger said sitting down with her back placed on the table.
"Um are you sure its a good idea to do this here? I wouldn't want us to cause any trouble." Fluttershy asked cautiously noticing a few adults giving them dirty looks.
"Don't sweat them Shy, I may smell like the dank but as long as they don't call the cops or anything we are fine. Besides a good majority of people in here smoke or drink anyway so they have no right to judge anyone." Tree Hugger said nonchalantly dismissing any of Fluttershy's fears as she took out a paper from her backpack that had a list of the different kinds of weed she had and the prices.
"Nice selection; all this new stuff?" Aria asked as she glanced over the list seeing several strain names she had never seen before.
"Most of it is new yeah; I got a bunch of new seeds a few months ago and they are ripe as can be now so what better time to see a couple and see how it goes? So here we've got skittles, red-hot, Daydream, Unicorn turd-"
"Ewwww" Fluttershy said with a slight frown on her face.
"Heheh the weirder sounding the name the better the bud; you get used to it" Aria stated with a chuckle.
"Heh yeah some of these have really weird names. I also have laughing gas, blizzard, spaced out, and then last but not least....Budzilla." Tree Hugger showed the rest of the strains with the last one being a dark green and purple mixed bud that was huge and had a bunch of TCH crystals on it.
"Oooh now don't those look fancy; hard to pick. Honestly I feel tempted to get a little of everything but I don't wanna bleed you dry plus I don't have that much unless others are putting in."
"Well I know for sure that Rainbow is getting some, so is Applejack and Shy's brother. Same with Pinkie's sister's Maud and Limestone."
Hm hey Shy what're your friends all doin' tomorrow do you know?" Aria asked Fluttershy.
"Oh um I'm not exactly sure but I can ask them if you'd like"
"Do that and I'll hit up Dagi and Nata; its been awhile since we all hung out so why not right? I'm sure Dagi could use a nice blunt working as hard as she does for Rarity and same goes for Nata since she has to be with those screaming brats all day at the amusement park." Aria said detailing each of the jobs the dazzlings had taken for themselves since moving in with their respective Rainboom.
"Hey I'm back; sup Hugs" Rainbow said having now come back from the bathroom her face cleaned off from the mess made earlier.
"Heard you snot rocketed your milkshake again; hehe nice one skittle tits" Tree Hugger teased with a smirk.
"
"Pft killjoy" Aria said rolling her eyes. "Anyway we can just make it a smoke party, pretty sure Pinkie would be down with-"
"DID SOMEONE SAY PARTY?!" Pinkie Pie said appearing out of nowhere startling everyone at the table especially Fluttershy.
"Heheh hey Pinkie we were just talking about you; I guess your shift is done eh?" Rainbow asked with a smile to her party loving pink friend.
"Yupper dupper! I just clocked out! I was actually gonna call Huggie and ask her for some of the goodies for Maud because I was gonna make some 4/20 treats this year for us" Pinkie said making sure to tell her friends that she was gonna be putting pot in the food this time.
"Pinks c'mon we already said we forgave you for the pot brownie thing that one time." Rainbow said with a chuckle and roll of her eyes when she remembered a few years ago when Pinkie Pie made pot brownies for a party without telling her friends as a prank but didn't realize just how strong the goodies were. The only one who didn't eat one was Fluttershy but that was because she was away for her birthday at Ocean Land in Fillydelphia.
"Yeah but still better safe than whoopsy!" Pinkie said with her normal cheery smile.
"Can't argue with that logic dudes and I think that's a rad idea since its gonna be Shy's birthday and all that. It'll be like totally awesome to have all her friends around to see her first time blazing it" Tree Hugger said making a clear dirty smoking pun given what Aria's last name was.
"Oh ha ha very funny" Aria said with a small pout as everyone at the table had a laugh at her expense.
"Um yeah that's why we're laughing! ahahahah" Rainbow said holding her side.
"Hehehhe yeah you kinda walked right into that one." Pinkie replied giggling still as well.
"Anyway; lets get the girls together in a group chat and see if they all wanna hang out. It's gonna be a pain getting Rarity and her prissy ass to do this but I think Applejack can loosen her up" Aria snickered and muttered. "More so than she already has anyway"
"What about Twilight? I don't think she would-"
"Oh trust me Sci-Twi is a pretty open minded dork, pretty sure if we break the science down to her she won't have an issue" Aria quickly rebutted dispelling any worries Fluttershy had that any of her friends would not like to partake in blazing with the group of them since it would Fluttershy's official first time.
"Oh" Fluttershy replied slouching her shoulders.
Aria smiled and put an arm around Fluttershy's middle and poked the little bits of skin that showed from under her shirt which got the most delightful little giggles out of the shy animal lover. "Don't you worry Shy; you'll be the birthday girl and center of attention tomorrow even for as much as Adagio may not like it" Aria snickered as she couldn't wait to see the jealous look on Adagio's face when the meek little Fluttershy was getting all the attention instead of her.
"Oh dear, I hope that won't be mmmhphhmm" Fluttershy was silenced by Aria's lips on hers and then when Aria released her Fluttershy merely let out her iconic "Eeep"
"Now you listen to me Shy; screw Adagio and her glory hogging ass. She ALWAYS has all eyes on her, tomorrow? Everyone's very stoned eyes and attention will be on you and whatever you wanna do. Heheh it'll be fun to see what stoner Fluttershy is like" Aria was genuinely curious as everyone she knew who smoked had a very different side to them when they were high.
Adagio for example was less greedy and all about keeping attention to herself and was more...'generous' with her affections when she was high. Sonata of course as one would imagine was a walking laugh machine who constantly had giggle fits and always had the worst case of the munchies seeming to have a bottomless pit for a stomach. Aria herself was as one would expect; more mellow, chilled, less aggressive and tsundre like with a bit more ditzy like nature in her than normal but she was fully able to control that having been the stoner of the dazzlings for over 30 years since they'd lived on Earth.
"O-Okay. um but I wouldn't want to hog all the fun um i-it would be a party so um everyone should get SOME attention; right?" Fluttershy answered.
"I agree with shy-shy! I can ask Sunset if we can have it at her place! Her living room would be perfect!" Pinkie replied
"Ditto babes like everyone should share the love man" Tree Hugger said with a happy wistful smile on her face still stoned out of her mind but aware of what was going on.
"Sooo say you birthday girl?" Aria asked with a cocky grin.
Fluttershy allowed herself to process the information and offers given. She had always been reserved on her birthdays, simply accepting gift cards or random presents giving the normal thank you, blowing out her candles on the cake and leaving it at that. However this time she had a chance to make the day be as she wished and she knew Aria and her friends would be willing to help make it as such. And so with a smile Fluttershy pointed a finger at a couple of the strains Tree Hugger highlighted in the paper she laid out earlier.
"I'll take Spaced out, Daydream, Laughing Gas, Budzilla, Unicorn turd-"
"Pffffthhahahahahahahhahahahah!!" laughed Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash over to the side.
"Blizzard and Skittles. I'll um pay whatever costs"
"Ah ah, none of that. It's YOUR birthday so WE are buying"
"Yeah, no way are we gonna make you spend money on your own birthday party" Rainbow Dash nodded in agreement. No way in Hell she was gonna let her best friend spend money on her own party, it was the duty of her friends to see this through.
"Yeah what kinda friends do that?!" Pinkie Pie rebutted. "I'll tell ya the kind, the meanie beanie kind! That's who!" Pinkie confirmed with a nod.
"Heheh ok ok. Hm..." Fluttershy felt her phone vibrate and she saw it was a message from Rarity reminding her to meet her at the spa for the weekly Friday appointment. "Oh gosh! I need to go; Rarity is waiting for me. I can ask her if she is willing to come to the party tomorrow at the spa. When she is relaxing is the best time to ask her things like this" Fluttershy said with a smile.
"Hehehe ooooh she's slowly getting more devious girls" Aria said tickling Fluttershy's sides a little causing Fluttershy to giggle and wiggle in place as she attempted to get up to leave and go meet Rarity.
"We're baaaaaaaad influence" Rainbow said teasingly as well.
Once the teasing had concluded Fluttershy got up from the table, said her goodbyes with hugs for Rainbow , Tree Hugger and Pinkie. Then ending off with a loving kiss with Aria which got many complimenting and Fluttershy blushing more as she left the cafe to go meet Rarity at the spa to discuss plans for her birthday. This was going to be...Interesting.
