My Little Pony: Starving Is Tragic
The Sad End Of Twilight Eclipse.

Twilight Eclipse gave a loud yawn of defeat high into the stagnant air around her, dark black baggage hanging firmly around each dull violet eye. Her dull purple coat was covered in filth from days without bathing, slender frame fragile yet sunken in around the waist.
The only vibrant glow emanating from this sickly creature was her lovely dark violet mane, streaked through the bangs with two separate colors of purple and pink. Indeed it was as soft as silk and twice as durable, many ponies whispering that it was able to grow at an outstanding rate.
The unicorn mare a simplistic creature by design, she enjoyed her solitude above all else. The better the silence allowed for more detailed studying, her discoveries would soon become that of equestrian legend.
Hence why she moved away from her busy home in Canterlot, too many visitors on a daily basis. Sometimes as much as two ponies in a whole day, she'd have to place her research on hold, just to prepare tea.
She found it absolutely a practice in insanity to build friendships, a vast waste of time and resources to create a foundation that was simply worthless. With all the minutes wasted on tea, she could've created a automaton capable of creating thousands of gallons of the beverage per hour.
Nothing needed to stand in her way of greatness, she was a mare on a mission, to become her society's greatest mind of innovation and creation. Just like her mentors before her, Professor Daybreaker and Dr. Moon.
Two of the greatest minds in all of Equestria, they taught her everything she knew, she'd love to thank them too. Yet they went missing mysteriously without a clue nearly five years ago, now simply a hoofnote in history.
Shimmering Sunset, taking over the main academy in Canterlot after they vanished, the annoyingly upbeat unicorn trying to spread the gospel of Friendship across the land. Yet another reason Twilight had left her old life behind, found an adorable cabin deep in The Evermore Forest and begun her research.
Though now nearly a year into her work, she had come across the most vile of all abominations in this world. Her mind was blank, no new ideas, conspiracies or theories, she felt as if all knowledge was catalogued deep within her mind.
Nothing new to learn.
“Is there truly nothing left to learn Spike?” Twilight gave a delicate sigh in deep thought, placing a frail hoof atop her chin.
A tiny purple dragon suddenly popping out of the shadowy abyss of the neglected bathroom area, his size petite yet purple and green scales razor sharp as blades, his gleaming green eyes circled by dark black baggage.
“Nonsense Twily, you never learned to cook!” The demented dragon flashed a large toothy grin of yellow fangs.
“But I did, twice!” Twilight pouted in utmost despair, her frail body sinking deep into her favorite red sofa in the living area.
“Huh, how about The Studies Of Parallel Universes and Quantum Mechanics!?” Spike flaunted a razor tipped claw towards his mistress, her dull eyes full of disappointment.
“Thrice!” Was her somber reply, tears forming on the edges of her eyes.
“Need something new to learn filly!?” A melodic sweet voice giggled out from across the claustrophobic room eerily.
“Spike, did you hear that!?” Twilight let her ears perk up in surprise, her eyes dashing around the room franticly in terror.
“I can't be sure Twily, I'm just a manifestation of your loneliness.” Spike spoke up in a honest tone of voice, the mare spotting her childhood doll of Ms. Smarty-pants sitting in the center of her messy living room.
“Smarty, did you become sentient?” Twilight swallowed the tight lump caught in her throat slowly, the old rotting doll on her rug never budging.
“Hello!” Smarty lifted her head upward, flashing a dark gaze of swirling shadows where her eyes once were.
“Ahhh!” Twilight screamed in utter anxiety, her whole slender body trembling in terror.
“Don't be afraid, I'm not malicious!” The raggedy doll lifted up to her hind hooves dementedly, her decaying fabric peeling back to show swarming maggots within.
“Spike, what do I…” Twilight turned to her side, the tiny dragon gone from this plane of existence.
“You can trust me!” Smarty giggled skipping across the floor at an alarming speed, worms and spiders falling from her body with every step, splashing to the floor.
“Why!?” The unicorn spoke in a horrified squeak.
“Because I have knowledge to share, forbidden knowledge.” Smarty lifted her head upward to the mare with a loud crunching noise, standing at the base of the red sofa.
“The Sombra Arts!?” Twilight gasped in shock, pouncing off the sofa and landing next to the toy with a loud thud.
“Indeed, knowledge of the dark queen herself!” Smarty let her voice grow smug with superiority.
“Those spells were lost, nearly a thousand years ago!” Twilight kneeled down to face level with her possessed toy, locking gazes with it's swirling eyes.
“Until now!” The toy dislocated her lower jaw with a snap, dark yellow drool oozing off onto the floor in a powerful foul stench.
The unicorn gagged in disgust at this display, the toy motioning for her to reach inside. Twilight shivered with dismay, a stench of rotting pony flesh filling the room swiftly. She closed her eyes and dug deep inside the living doll, her hoof plunged deep into warm black slime.
The black liquid pulsing and moving as if alive, Twilight scrunched nose cutely with a revolted gaze. Suddenly feeling a hard object in her hooves, tugging with all her might she relinquished a tiny black book from its prison.
The doll exploding dark slime across the living room, Twilight coated in the foul smelling ooze. Her violet eyes shimmering in awe as the book fell to her floor, a tiny pony skull embedded on the front cover wickedly.
The Sombra Arts were found!
And it belonged to her alone.
She spent the first two hours trying to clean the horrid scent out of her house, the slime resistant to every attempt to clean or purify it. With the oder becoming increasingly familiar and less putrid, Twilight simply decided to ignore it for the time being.
Her full attention soon falling to the book of forbidden spells, to her surprise the book was written in a odd cypher of ancient pony languages. She couldn't read even a single word of the book, it would take decades to research and find a way to decipher it.
Time she didn't have sadly, her heart about to shatter as she flipped through the pages of the dark tome. Spotting a unique page written recently in a readable print, inked in this odd substance littering her house.
It was a spell, not just any spell.
But one able to grant the user, the knowledge of any language!
Her heart exploding in pure delight of ecstasy, jumping up to her hooves in excitement as she dashed into the master bedroom. Also known as her private workplace, books tossed haphazardly around the cramped space carelessly.
Twilight was a simple spell away from knowledge thought to be extinct, soon she'd be a mistress of the dark arts, able to see through the fog of reality and so much more. The mare mumbling the spell aloud, memorizing each ingredient with care.
A pinch of Foal's Breath.
Twilight used her magic to fling over a large cauldron from under a pile of trash, smashing it onto the floor before her loudly. Her dark violet magic rummaging over her potion shelf hastily, tossing in the Foal's Breath in one clean swoop.
A dash of pegasi feathers.
Twilight screamed out in unbridled excitement, ripping the feathers off her pegasus appreciation wall swiftly. Destroying a few pegasi replicas in the process, a small price to pay for making history.
A drop of blood from a virgin.
Twilight blushed a bright pink across both cheeks, glancing around her private sanctuary slowly as if expecting somepony to be watching her.
With the coast clear, the mare suddenly plunged her teeth roughly into her hoof. Wincing in pain as she sharply ripped open her flesh in a single tug, lifting her hoof gently over the cauldron to allow a tiny drop to plummet within.
Lastly it needed a single hair, plucked from the mane of a mare.
The unicorn snorted aloud smugly, using her magic to pluck a fine piece of hair from her mane with ease. Tossing it with glee into the brew, a sudden explosion of purple mist sending the mare flying back in a large shockwave.
Her fragile body smashing against her wall roughly, leaving a large crack across the wooden frame. The world was spinning out of control as Twilight watched in horror, the same black ooze began to bubble forth out if her cauldron wildly.
She had no time to react, the slime bouncing across the room frighteningly fast. Splashing over the mare boiling hot, she howled in agony from the burning sensation spreading across her body.
“Help!” She stumbled forward blindly, the ooze seeming to dissolve her quickly.
She groaned feeling her body crunch and compact, shrinking as she started to melt into a puddle of slime. Heart racing out of control, her cries falling upon deaf ears.
“Pleeeease...helsh...meeeeh.” Her voice faded, the goo bubbling on the floor sickeningly.
Twilight was no more.
Erased from this existence forever.
But not from another.
One reality, she'd soon become quite acquainted with.
