Spectre was never one for the limelight. Preferring to stay in the background, he spent most of his life in the shadows of others, doing his best to keep a modest life while avoiding the ire of ponies and nobles alike in his home of Canterlot. For the longest time, he had come to accept that this was his place in life, until one fateful night he found himself seated in a bar.

It was then he met a showpony by the name of Shadow Rift, a small time celebrity well known for his high flying, death defying performances... and a matching reckless attitude.

Though polar opposites in nature, worlds will collide as the stuntpony decides to take Spectre under his wing, and prove to him that life isn’t simply all about misery and hate. And though Spectre will prove to be a stubborn student, Shadow will take it upon himself to be twice the master.

Will Spectre accept Shadow’s teachings and learn their is just as much to life as the stallion claims? Or will the past of both stallions prove them both wrong in their beliefs?

A collaboration between myself and the amazing Shadow Rift! If you've read his stories you'd get that. If you haven't I encourage you to do so. While not needed to really understand his OC in this story, it will provide a more well rounded understanding of why he acts accordingly. Hope you all enjoy!
