Fluttershy just... blinked. Trying to make the sudden and mysterious crate disappear. She *hadn't* ordered anything... let alone something this big. But... it had her name on it. And there was nopony nearby to even deliver something so big and move as quickly as she heard the knock. So... she did the only sane thing she could, and texted her friends.

Immediately Twilight, Starlight, and Applejack texted back. However in the distance there was a loud boom... Dash was coming right away, and it seemed the others were making their way there right then too. Fluttershy quietly shut her door and locked it just in case somepony was hiding inside of the crate.

Though even after it took nearly ten minutes for everyone to arrive and slink around the massive crate... it didn't so much as move. Even as Applejack checked it's construction. "Sugar, it's nailed in tighter then our fence posts back at the farm... it ain't opening from the inside unless somepony's stronger then all of us put together."

Fluttershy nodded and let out a sigh, "Twilight, Starlight?"

"Nothing... not a single living thing is in there. It's... a crate with something in it." Starlight shrugged. "That's about all we can tell..."

"I say we destroy it." Dash said bluntly. "If it just shows up outta no where it can't be anything good."

Twilight walked up behind Dash and smacked her lightly on the back of the head. "The magic detecting spells Starlight and I used found nothing... and as of now... it appears to be utterly harmless. So no we won't be destroying it... who knows it could be something for her that somepony got for her because she helped take care of their pet!"

Fluttershy smiled slightly, walking up the crate. "Yeah... maybe! Can you girls get it inside? I'll open it up, I kinda want to but... I'll make you all tea and snacks for helping!"

The others, except for Dash who was rubbing the back of her head and looking a bit peeved, nodded and began to lift the crate up, slowly taking it back into Fluttershy's cottage.

Once it was inside they all gathered around and anxiously waited for her to finish with the snacks and tea. She came back out a little while later with a tray of tea cups, and some little sandwiches for them. "Here you go! Now... how do I get this open?" She looked for something, any way at all to easily open it up!

She'd find it... a crowbar! It was painted red and a metallic color on the tips... with a strange orange sλmbol.
Her snout scrunched up adorably as she picked it up, it was quite heavy! But the shy mare was determined to figure out what was in the crate now that her friends were here!

The poor mare would struggle for a bit to pop the lid of the crate off! And when it finally did it came off with an audible cracking as the lid broke apart and the contents inside were revealed!

Upon opening it, she'd find that there were labels for a company she never heard of inside and... a naked stallion, his 'fur' a strange orange color, and his mane matching that same orange as well! He was missing his crotch region of course, laying in the center of the crate.

He was surrounded by various objects, including wrapped chips, a strange USB, a new laptop, a new desktop computer, the perphirals for it. A catalog for more... modules? A phone number for service it seemed... and a user manual.

Then there'd be a guide labeled 'quick start'. It... was surprisingly in comic sans, so it really stood out. Thankfully only the title was in that godawful font, the rest was in times new roman. And... it gave her a QR code for a phone app? What the hell was this even?

More strange things cropped up, the whole thing seemed... out of place. Like it didn't belong here, and just simply appeared.. just for her. The little card above the android read, "TITAN MODEL PROTECTOR 1.0"

The sight of the naked stallion would cause Fluttershy to leap back with an eep and hide right behind Dash. "THERE'S A NAKED STALLION IN MY HOME!"

The others shot up only to see... the crotchless stallion laying utterly motionless in the crate. "Wait....what?" They all looked to each other. "It's... an android? What the hell..." Twilight muttered to herself as she pulled out her phone. "It's alright Fluttershy... it's not a real stallion. It's some sort of... robot."

"R-really?" Fluttershy asked quietly, slowly climbing out from behind the couch. She looked at the crate again and picked up the poorly made quick start guide. Inside she'd of course find the QR code. She'd... use a scanner to open find out what it lead to.

The QR code would bring her immediately to a webpage.., more aptly an instillation page for an app! The app itself would automatically install onto her phone, disregarding any permission or storage issues. Though it’d become apparent why quickly, as the app started itself, though not as some spooky haunted app that’d probably kill her in seven days... it opened up what looked like a... setting page?

The settings page appeared to allow her to customize some things on the android. Including personality, though there was an option for ‘free-will’ that seemed to be in beta. Along with... its combat capabilities. It listed several things including the ability to create shields of various kinds, controlling gasses and some liquids... telekinesis and pyromancy. Though there seemed to be spaces for more options, though the first was labeled, ‘Chrck back when future hardware is installed!’ More spelling mistakes... but the app seemed so damn professional.

Once it connected to another wireless network it seemed to update further. New sub routines were unlocked, including domestic work, heavy labor, a ‘boyfriend’ mode, and other various niche and kink related routines. It appeared she could get it to do just about anything she wanted! Though it also included spaces for more programs as well, the first empty slot said, ‘Connect to your computer for our programming kit!’
Then came the body modifications, she couldn’t change his form but, it seemed his stallionhood was completely customization on the fly, including... fertility rate? This thing had a lot going on already,best to leave those options set to off or hidden for now... though one thing would be noticeable, ‘wings set to off’ was checked. So it had wings and flight?

There were also modifications to make him seem more life-like or more robotic. Including eye glow, vein glow, and... a heartbeat option? It seemed he was made to mimic life. Along with controls for temperature, taste, realistic thirst and hunger, learning... this thing really was advanced. Maybe a self leaning ai too...

The final section just had a button labeled start up.

As her friends investigated everything inside... Fluttershy sat down and investigated the strange app. From her point of view it allowed her to edit this stallion... and make him... well, whatever she wanted!

She started with the personality section!

The Personality page included sliders for different customization. Some of which were Submissiveness, Dominance, Sarcasm... different personality quirks, a huge list of them to set up finer details or just edit slight things.

There was a drop-down menu for various defaults. Some of them included, JOKESTER, PRANKSTER, GUARDIAN, SCHOLARLY, SNARKY, SARCASTIC, FRIENDLY... there were so many more. Though the 'Free-will' Option was labeled 'complete override. Will prevent further modifications once activated, and cannot be deactivated without factory reset.' It had a further sub-setting 'Will still recognize the owner as primary protectorate. This cannot be changed.'

She could just as easily leave it to have it's own personality... or make it something she'd want and change it on the fly. Though, it seemed that the 'Free-will' was in beta, and could have... some quirks to it. There was one further option, 'TRUE FREE-WILL' the check was x'd out and impossible to select. Though a note beneath it said, 'OPTION DISABLED UNTIL THE KILL OPERATOR BUG IS WORKED OUT'.
She'd scratch her chin a little. Not really changing anything just going over all of the sliders currently unlocked and the defaults already installed... "Interesting... maybe this isn't so bad..." She said softly, going to the next page. The sub routines.

The subroutines was for the most part basic... if someone was actually completely insane. The list was extensive. Some making absolutely no sense. Like 'ANTI-RADIATION' 'SURVIVAL COOKING' 'WATER PURIFICATION'. Why would somepony need any of those if they were living a normal life?

There were more, 'GLADIATORIAL COMBAT', 'MARINE', 'NAVY SEAL DRILL INSTRUCTOR'... The list for military based subroutines kept going on and on. One that really, really stood out was 'STORM TROOPER TRAINING'... best to never use that one if he got a hold of a weapon, right?

There were then more tame ones, 'DOMESTIC LABOR', 'HEAVY LIFTING', 'FARMING AND PLANTING', and other ones for household work and labor.

Finally came one labeled 'EVIL OVERLORD PROTECTOR', 'Installed on Request for...' The name was completely glitched out... but knowing how many 'evil overlords' there were that tried to conquer Equestria on a bi-weekly basis... it was kinda hard to tell who'd want this sort of thing.

No... No there was one just past that. 'I AM THE SENATE!'... okay, it really seemed like the programmers were having a bit of fun. Though, from the looks of it... she could set this thing up to do chores, and other tasks for her, leaving her free to do whatever she pleased! Though one was unable to be turned off, 'PROTECTION'. Though... it was easy to guess why that shouldn't be turned off.

She'd giggle to herself at the obvious joke ones. "I might set you up to help around the house and with the animals... I think it'd be nice to have some help more often..."
She'd next go to a strange section labeled 'QUAILITY OF LIFE SETTINGS'. She'd look it over and discover it had two sub-menus!

The options in that sub-menu seemed to be for making him appear as more of a synthetic life form, or more living.

Under the 'Synthetic Section' of the menu she'd find various items. 'EYE GLOW' That had a drop down menu of colors... and she could even change his base eye color along with it! There was an option for RGB and color shifting, along with various tones...

Then came 'VEIN GLOW' which had similar color options. Selecting any of them would probably cause his 'veins' to glow brightly, definitely marking him out as not real... or just completely insane and injecting the liquid from a glow-stick right into his body. There was also one for his voice to make it more robotic... or to add 'ROGER ROGER' to the end of every sentence... They were definitely putting some jokes into the monogramming.

Though under the 'Synthetic Section' was one strange option. 'OPENLY STATE THE PREQUELS WERE THE BEST STARWARS MOVIES'. That'd... probably get annoying quickly.

Under the 'Life Like' section there'd be far more options. And none of them appeared to be jokes!

They'd range from, 'Varying Body Temperatures' to 'Softer Fur', and even included an option for Realistic breathing patterns, and a heart beat. There'd even be options to adjust to make it seem like he had health issues if one would so choose. Even options to turn on taste and scent functionality. One last one included, 'Full Emotional Range' "WARNING IN BETA, RESULTS MAY VARY"... it seemed a lot of this thing was in beta.

Her immediate reaction was to turn on all the life-like options. If he was going to be around, she wanted him to have a constant presence... one she could rely on to comfort her and keep her safe, not just physically but emotionally. Plus... if he was going to help with cooking, why shouldn't he be able to taste and feel it too?

She smiled and eagerly turned on the Full Emotional Range. Not even thinking anything of it. She even locked down those setting so no one else could edit them.

Then she looked to her friends who were going over the manual trying to figure it out. The QR code no longer worked... so only Fluttershy had access to it.

She saw several more currently empty menus, one for different types of 'modules' and one for relationships. Perhaps she could add her friends to it so he could become their friend as well!

She giggled to herself as her friends struggled to lift it up. She'd then go to the last menu, starting up the android just to see what happened. She'd then activate a new option she saw on the 'Personality Default', 'Friend'. She smiled to herself, "Girls, come sit down! I just made us all a new friend!" She giggled happily, waving her friends over.

They all looked to each other and sat down, watching the crate carefully.

They'd jump when the hand hit the side of the crate, followed by the android's other one.

As she started it up there was a bit of movement inside of the crate. The android would place it's hand on the edge of the crate, and then his other would land on the other side. Slowly the android would prop itself up before gripping it's head with both hands.

"Ugh..." He muttered quietly, his mind catching up to all the presets she had messed with, and the changes in the sliders. First he’d look around, taking in his surroundings. Then his gaze would fall upon the gathered females, he’d study them for a moment a light glow temporarily engulfing his eyes. “Medical scan finished... I am Titan your new android protection unit. Please state the name of the Owner before basic functionality mode is disabled.” He’d slowly stand up, literally towering over her now, though his gaze for the moment was impassive, lacking anything besides a blank and empty feeling.

Fluttershy would stand up and walk over to him. "Oh you poor thing... I'm Fluttershy! Please, activate everything I did, would you?"

"Understo-" He cut himself off and shook his head closing his eyes as the mare hugged him like some sick puppy. "Alright... everything's running. Miss... Fluttershy?"

"You can call me Fluttershy." She nuzzled his cheek, sighing happily as she felt how soft he was. "Mmm~ Perfect so far!"

The others blinked.

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in for a hug. Fluttershy eagerly accepted it and snuggles in, nuzzling his chest happily. “Soooo big and warm~ So, Mr Titan, what are you?”

“I am to be your guardians and helper. I am a Jupiter Line Protector Unit. Codenamed TITAN. I am yours to command in anyway you see fit.” He explained.

The girls stood up, prepared to step in until... Fluttershy curled up in his lap. "Oooh... I'm so happy you got sent to me... so do you know how to build things too? I could use some help in building new pens and I don't want to bother Big Mac... and the other stallions in town are too busy or perv on me when they're here..." She sighed.

"I can build whatever it is you require as long as I have the time and materials for it!" He said with a nod, all the while Fluttershy figated with the controls, turning up an option in the secret menu she just discovered! She turned the only option available, 'cuddle factor' up to 11.

With that he snuggled in even more and nuzzled her softly, just absolutely threatening to cuddle her to death. She squeed happily and snuggled in. "Mmmffpf..." She mumbled, face buried in his neck as she draped her arms around him.

"Well... that's... unexpected." Starlight finally spoke up.

"And who might you all be?" He asked, as Fluttershy pulled back from his neck, only to try to latch onto his face in an effort to pull all his attention back onto her. He pulled her off quite casually, not even struggling against her grip, before giving her forehead a little kiss. This was met with a loud series of adorable giggle snorts and a squee. After which Fluttershy snuggled back up in his lap and looked happily up at her friends.

"Can I keep him?"

Hey! This is a test run of a new OC and a new type of story. It's being run in a discord group so far... but eventually there will be the chance for the readers to influence the story too! Let me know what you guys think by commenting! I'll try to reply to them all!
