Case "Sour" Sweet - END 'The End'

After you and Sour Sweet had some... quality time in the forest... and helped Sour Sweet change back into the girls uniform, you eventually returned back to the room... to see a sight that made your heart sink, everyone knocked out and Indigo and Sunny Flare were missing.

"Oh no..." You went.

"Girls?! GIRLS?! WAKE UP!!!" Sour Sweet hollered as she tried to shake her friends awake.

"W-what happened?" Sugarcoat asked.

"You tell us!" You went as Cadence, your parents, and Sour Sweet's parents awoke.

"Wait, where's Indigo and Sunny Flare?!" Lemon Zest panicked.

"FUCKING A!" You shouted surprising everyone in the room, "I CAN'T HIDE IT ANY LONGER!!! You wanna know what happened?! Indigo Zapp's kidnapped Sunny Flare with plans to LITERALLY eat her! Remember when she ate that kid long ago when she was young?! Her taste for flesh has come back! She ate my then girlfriend Lightning Dust, she ate her parents, she ate Principal Cinch, and now Sunny Flare's next on her list!!! She forced me to keep it a secret or else she'd kill my mom and dad and I just couldn't risk that! But now?! I can't hold it in anymore! She HAS to be stopped! This isn't just a matter of her losing her fucking mind, she's gonna devour everyone we know and love if we don't stop her, now!!!"

"I knew you couldn't hold it in,"

You turned to see Indigo Zapp with Sunny Flare in her clutches, her mouth tapped up and hands and legs cuffed together with a single arm behind her back.

"YOU!" You shouted reaching for your tranquilizer revolver, "I'M PUTTING AN END TO-"

BANG!!! You had no time to react as a sharp pain hit you in your stomach. You dropped your tranquilizer revolver out of the pain you were suffering, looking down to see blood pouring from the bullet wound in your stomach then looking to see Indigo with a Glock 17 pointed your way before turning it to Sunny's forehead.

"I wouldn't make any sudden moves if I were any of you, I'm not afraid to pull the trigger you know," Indigo taunted.

"Mother... fu....." You managed to get out before you collapsed to the floor due to the pain you were suffering.

"Now, I don't want to see any of you following me, understand?" Indigo said before slowly backing away.

Sunny Flare had started panicking, trying desperately to get out of her shackles but to no avail before headbutting Indigo across the jaw and giving you the time you needed to grab your tranquilizer revolver and shoot Indigo six times making her drop her revolver in the scuffle. Using all of your strength you got up and charged at Indigo and slammed her against the door to the halls, breaking the lock and sending the both of you to the ground.

You then heard the sound of Indigo growling in pain and new that the fight had only just begun...

You got up to your feet and, through all the pain and tears, pulled the bullet out of your stomach before barely dodging in time for Indigo's own charge attack. You then blocked one of her punches and countered with your own followed by a kick to her gut and then tackling her to the ground in a way that let you grab ahold of her leg and snap it in a way that a loud crack could be heard as you broke her leg. Indigo let out a howl of pain before kicking you off and getting to her knees before standing up through the pain and charging at you so fast you couldn't react, pinning you against the wall as she bit you on the cheek and kept holding it.

You felt your flesh start to tear the longer she kept biting you and soon enough she let go after a hard punch to her lower jaw but now you were bleeding from some open holes in your cheek. But you had little to no time to inspect the damage further as Indigo had pulled out a switchblade from her breasts and charged at you with it. While you dodged the charge, she started swinging at your back and cutting you up bad, but one good backward kick made it stop as she dropped the blade and staggard leaving you time to pick up the blade and toss it towards her, hitting her through her stomach. Once more you charged at the weakened Indigo Zapp and hit her hard enough to impale the blade further into her, though, when you hit she bit you on your own ear, ripping half of it off as you got off of her. That lone action was enough to let you know that this wasn't some fight for escape, this was a fight to the death. And that was fine by you.

You then prepared yourself as Indigo then pulled out the switchblade with great pain and charged at you once again, though this time she played right into your trap. You grabbed the arm holding the switchblade and twisted it around you to where Indigo then stabbed herself in the eye. You then landed the finishing blow, a high kick to the blade impaling it further into her skull, enough to go through her brain. Indigo then fell to the floor as blood poured from her and soon enough, you passed out from your injuries, barely hearing Sour Sweet and her friends along with your parents call your name as your vision became dark.

You eventually awoke to the sound of a heart rate monitor, and the sight of your parents, along with Sour Sweet and her friends minus Indigo Zapp.

"Where's... Indigo..." You weakly said.

"Dead. You finished her off with kicking that knife into the back of her head," Sugarcoat replied.

"I called into the station to investigate her house. The bodies of Lightning Dust, her parents, and Cinch were found in the basement... what's left of them anyways..." Your Father spoke up.

"At least... that's... put to bed..." You wheezed.

"Don't talk too much, you sustained a lot of injuries in your fight against, Indigo!" Sour Sweet scolded.

"Detective... Thank you... for... saving me," Sunny Flare said.

"Just... doing my job... miss..."

The sound of your dad's radio caught your attention as you saw your dad talking into the radio.

"Sorry to leave you so soon champ but, we've been called in to help with the investigation of Indigo's house," Your dad explained as he got off the radio.

"Don't wait up for me..." You weakly joked.

And with that, your mom and dad left the room.

"We've gotta be going too, school's still on for tomorrow," Sugarcoat explained, "See you, detective."

Sour Sweet's friends then proceeded to leave, but Sour Sweet stayed behind.

"Why aren't you leaving with them...?"

"How could I ever leave your side? You found out who I was but you still accepted me for who I was, hell, you even kissed me and made love to me out in the forest! You even said afterward, I think I'm in love with you, how could I ever leave your side?! Because you know what? I think I'm in love with you too,"

"Just shut up and kiss me..." You grinned.

And Sour Sweet did just that, on the lips, and held it for practically an hour.

Three Weeks later you were finally released from the hospital and greeted by none other than Sour Sweet who took you to the CM Games for the next tournament which you gladly participated in alongside her with a more optimized Lunalight Deck. You two were in the finals again, but this time she ended up winning against you 2 to 1 and you couldn't have been more happy for her. At the same time later next Monday you officially retired from being a detective, feeling that now you had done all you could possibly do as a school detective and returned to a semi-normal life. You and Sour Sweet would eventually announce the two of you being together as an official couple to the joy of your parents and to the dissatisfaction of her's but after being discovered, Sour Sweet just didn't give a fuck anymore for lack of a better word.

Soon enough both you and Sour Sweet graduated from Crystal Prep alongside Sour Sweet's remaining friends and to celebrate decided to compete in the upcoming YCS Regionals where you once more found yourselves in the finals and you became the runner up while Sour Sweet became the victor. Soon enough you ended up working alongside your mom and dad as a police officer and you couldn't have been any happier. Well, except for your happiest days being your proposal to Sour Sweet and your wedding day. Not only that, but your mental state has been doing better as well. The nightmares are finally over. The madness is finally over. And with Sour Sweet by your side, you finally found peace.
