I decided to do something a little different with this one. Seeing how recently most of my stories have been a bit on the long side, usually involving multiple chapters, I wanted to make a story that cuts to the chase a little bit. It feels good to settle down with a big story with plenty of detail, scene dressing, and internal monologuing, but every once and awhile its nice to read a story that's short and to the point.
