Part I:
The Changeling couldn’t help but smile to himself as he sat at the simple table in the coffee shop. This was going to be so easy! The ponies of Equestria were nothing like the superstitious Zebras he was used to dealing with, who were constantly on the lookout for anything out of place. Queen Mothra had been right to begin moving the hive’s assets into this place, now that that idiot Queen Chrysalis had gotten herself banished by her own hive!
It took quite a bit of self control for the Changeling not to snicker at the beauty of it all. While it was true the, ugh, recently turned Seelie Changelings would be somewhat annoying to avoid, they were still weak and information about the Changelings was still in the process of transferring between the newly allied powers. It was the perfect time to strike!
And it was the perfect time to go big!
“Why, hello Darling!” Rarity giggled as she sat across from him. “Why, I left ten minutes early thinking I would be the early one! This is certainly a pleasant surprise!”
“Well, I had to make sure everything was perfect and set up for you, Lady Rarity!” The Changeling replied smoothly, “A mare’s time is a precious thing after all, one such such as yourself especially!”
“Oh, why thank you, Mister Mask,” Rarity said, a faint flush on her cheeks, “I must say, your even more the gentlestallion than your letters suggested! And certainly more humble about your looks.”
The Changeling gave her a soft smile, eyes darting to the mere as he glanced at his disguise: a handsome stallion with a silver coat and blue mane, and stunning emerald green eyes that were a vague hint to what he really was, though it a hint only other changelings would pick up on. Considering what he had heard of this mare’s rather bland tastes, he had mixed the features of the most popular depiction of the Phantom of the Opera and Prince Shining Armor as a template. Clearly, Rarity like it as much as he had planned, if not more so.
“So the flawless diamond says to the fogged-up glass, Lady Rarity,” he said, before giving a kinda faint, somewhat nervous, very fake chuckle, “I admit, I was kind of worried that I was being to… forward… with my intentions.”
“Oh please, your letters were an absolute charm!” Rarity said with a smile, before a soft frown, “I’ll admit, after all this time I was beginning to think I myself might have to be more forward. The lack of company has be getting a little concerning, why to much longer and I fear I may have begun to wilt without anypony at my side. I mean, growing old is fun when you’re married, but when your trying to get married, eh, not so much.”
The Changeling internally snorted. She was hardly at such a age to be worried about such things. However, the fact she developed such fears so early left her vulnerable. Honestly, this felt like almost a waste to have such good luck on an assignment that was already a piece-of-cake.
He feigned shook, “Beauty as grand as yours, fade? Why, I doubt such a thing is possible! And it seems a crime that somepony of your caliber hasn’t lines upon lines of suitors! Why, I’d imagine married stallions would be competing for your hoof, and there wives would feel honored!”
Yes, it was perhaps the thickest speech he had ever delivered, and yes, any mare with a brain bigger than a pea between her ears would have been on guard. But as he knew she would, Rarity just ate it right up; blushing like a filly whose dream had just kissed her hoof.
“Oh, you really are a dream come true, Darling!” Rarity giggled, “But as much as I’d love to listen to you all day, I believe there was a purpose to this date besides spoiling me so much?”
He smiled, his bull of a backstory coming to his lips easily, “Well, I am a actor, as my letter said. And besides getting to know you, I was hoping to make you my supplier. The last couple ponies I worked with were hacks, and then I saw one of your works of art, and well, I found myself smitten with their creator in an instant.”
“Well, Darling, I’d been delighted to work with you on such things, and I’d happily give such a gentlestallion as yourself a discount!” She finished her tea and, to the Changeling’s mild surprise, got up. “Why don’t we go back to my boutique, and I can take your measurements and we can talk business?”
The Changeling raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised at what he thought the head-lost-in-fairytales mare was insinuating.
She giggled at his expression. “Business, Mister Mask, business… although…”
She gave him a far more sultry look than he had previously seen from her, “maybe I could give you a chance to raise those discounts a little higher, Darling?”
And she was horny as a cherry on top. She really was going to be a very pleasant desert for The Changeling, and a very easy one. Honestly, Queen Mothra could have sent a rookie instead of her top infiltrator and they would have done fine. How this mare had anything to do with the defeats of any villains, especially his kin, was beyond the Changeling.
The Changeling didn’t bother to finish his coffee, leaving the tab and a tip, before hurrying to open the door for her.
About five hours later:
“Well, consider your discount considerably risen, Darling” Rarity said as she tried and was somewhat failing to catch her breath as she lay next him.
The Changeling snorted softly, though he was not as calm as he had been before. When he had had fun with the mare, he had tasted her love and desire, and he had been surprised at the taste. Delicious would the simplest way to describe it, intoxicating perhaps the most accurate. He had suddenly found himself very happy he had been sent, and the fact he would have to give her to the hive was suddenly somewhat disappointing. Though, unfortunately, and somewhat oddly, he found it very unfilling; but oh well, she’d make good junk food.
Oh well, while they were transporting her back, there would be plenty of time for fun, and plenty of excusing to make the return trip take much, much longer.
And besides, the Changeling thought to himself, a dash of terror would make her taste complete.
Somewhat annoyingly, he had found out Rarity not only a screamer, which wasn’t that bad, but she was also what more crass individuals called “Blasters” and more proper, “Flarers.” This meant her bedroom was Flare-proof, aka, Magic-proof, the singes in the wall above the bed being only a stain.
The Changeling snorted softly when he remembered hearing that on their wedding night, some idiot had not taken Shining and Cadance to a Flare-proof room, and the damage cost was ridiculously high (and, according to the rumors, and much to his embarrassment, the Flare color had been Shining Armor’s aura color, not Cadance’s.)
The annoying part was he couldn’t message his associates hiding in the Everfree while in this room that he had her captured, and so had to settle for telling them outside the room to come as dusk settled.
Which, as he examined the window curtains, would likely happen with the next fifteen minutes. With a smile, he turned to his soon-to-be victim: “Well, Lady Rarity, I must say, you’ve been wonderful. Your taste is addicting.”
Rarity blushed, and he chuckled, “Oh, not quite what I meant, my dear. I meant the taste of your love.”
A look of confusion overtook her face, but as she went to speak he quickly kissed her, this time letting the paralyzing venom drip from his fangs and down her throat.
He pulled back, grinning as a look of panic settling into her face as he hoped off the bed and transformed.
“I’d say sorry, but that would be a load of bull,” The Changeling said with a chuckle, winking at her and turning to the door. “But hey, can you really blame me? Blame us? I mean, it’s nothing personal, my dear, but Changelings gotta eat.”
He reached for the doorknob, prepared to wonder his way into the little sisters room and deal with her(Rarity had put her to bed early, just before their fun) and then let his underlings in so they pod the two and start transport. By the time anypony noticed them, they would be long gone.
His plan was interrupted by a squeak coming from behind him. He turned in surprise to see Rarity struggling to pull herself from the bed.
“Oh, what’s this? You’re a bit stronger than I had given you credit for! Not smarter though, as you should have waited tell I left to start moving! Could of tried to jump out the window or something, that would have been a real wrench to my plans!” The Changeling laughed as he calmly walked over to the shaking mare, shoving her back into the bed with no effort before climbing on top of her. “But I see, I only have you a small taste of my venom. Well, here’s a bigger one.”
He slammed his mouth against hers, forcing his tongue past her teeth with ease and coiling it around hers before sliding it down her throat. His fangs pumped venom out which flowed down her throat. When he finally pulled away for air, she was still as a statue.
He giggled as he climbed off her, turning to walk away. He was halfway to the door, when suddenly, something very peculiar happened.
He froze.
“What’s going on,” he tried to say, but his mouth wouldn’t move, his tongue unable to doing anything beyond a slight twitch.
Then he heard the floor creak softly behind him, and to his shock, Rarity walked into his field of view with a soft smile on her face. “I’ll admit, Darling, I didn’t quite expect you to try and paralyze me with such a quick kiss. Nowhere near enough time for me to give you my own venom.”
He stared at her blatant confusion and growing panic. What was going on? She had poisoned him? But how? With what? Had how long had she known?
She seemed to read his mind, “Oh, I knew you were a Changeling from the moment I read your, hmm, I believe it your second letter that I figured it out.” She giggled, though it wasn’t as cute as before, “Oh, you thought you were leading me on, when in truth you were just falling into my web! You aren’t the first little bug to come buzzing towards me, thinking I’m some little unicorn flower. Well, that’s kinda of a given actually. I’d be screwed and starving if that wasn’t a given.”
She suddenly gave him a sweat smile, before leaning closer to the Changeling. “You said my love tasted delicious? Well, I wonder how yours tastes.”
Then she pulled him into a kiss, one far deeper than what he given her. A strange sensation flooded him, and then a sharp pain erupted in The Changeling’s stomach. He felt it contract and shake painfully as a cold numbness slowly drown out everything else. Something bubbled up his throat and the next thing he knew he was vomiting violently into Rarity’s mouth.
Changelings did not vomit, at least not like this. They couldn’t, they ate love. Anything else was put into a secondary stomach, which was not what he was drawing form to vomit. He was drawing from his primary stomach, which was filled with ichor, the Changeling equivalent of blood, waiting to be infused with love so it could be spread throughout the body. He shouldn’t have been able to vomit that up, much like ponies or other creatures were able to vomit up their blood.
But he was. As the numbness and coldness set in, he could vaguely hear Rarity gulping down the ichor that was his lifeblood. She wrapped her forelegs around his neck as her tongue eagerly forced his down so she could better drink from him.
Finally, after what felt like minutes but was more like fifteen seconds, as dark spots had begun to encroach the edge of his vision, Rarity broke the kiss.
“Hmm, yes, your love is definitely delicious as well, Darling. You are clearly well fed,” Rarity smiles, revealing fangs still coated in a dripping with the thick glowing her ichor. She opened her mouth, strange if it sticking together as licked her teeth clean. “However, I think it is missing a little something.”
Just as The Changeling dully wondered if whatever was happening could get any worse, Rarity began to change. It wasn’t like a Changeling’s transformation though. Her entire body began to shake and expand, her coat bulging unnaturally in places before being ripped apart like a bunch of fine clothes being torn. Soon, a horror stood before The Changeling, and any confusion he had left instantly became absolute terror.
“Ah, there it is, Darling,” a voice that sounded no more like a ponies than a Changelings did hissed, “That’s what was missing: the terror! It adds so much the taste, like a Gryphon salting the meat of their kill!”
Fangs drooling, two of eight limbs leaning forward to grasp The Changeling’s head and pull him into another kiss, Rarity leaned forward.
“I’d apologize, but I would be lying. However, can you blame me, Darling? After all, Arachne have to eat too.”

Just a little idea I decided to write. Plan to right the second part about The Changeling’s help over the next couple days, plus no doubt edit the ten billion errors you are all so likely to find that my might as well be blind eyes couldn’t.
