Although that Ponyville is home to all sorts of denizens willing to take refuge here, other species and breeds capable of sentience are still an intermittence within the sleepy town; that being said, it's not as if they're made to be unwelcome nevertheless.

Of the many possibilities, a lone zebra is found trudging about with nowhere else to be going to, save for one destination: the outskirts where the population density is much lower and without fear of any unwanted encounters with any other strangers so to speak.

In spite of his solitary nature, he has a few friends of his own, one of which he's willing to place his trust into: a veterinarian with her own circle of friends as well as a life to make of her own; this was more enough to provide him pale shelter from the gathering storm above themselves.
