The door opened with a dull straining squeak. Forged iron hinges cut the ears, like a rattle of old metal on a stone. Princess Celestia unhurriedly entered the spacious chambers. The stars, nestled at the top of the sky, poured a silver light through the windows and the open shutters let in the coolness of the night. The whole room was drowned in a haze of unsteady fog, the wind curled lazily at the purple curtains, whispering an alarming rustle during the rest of the night. The walls were covered with tapestries with spreading intricate patterns, and at the far end of the chamber, Princess Luna was quivering in a corner.

Celestia looked around the long-forgotten interior of her sister's room with a dreary gaze. Sighing heavily, slowly, step by step, she headed deep into the room. The night went to the sky with wax smoke from evenly smoldering candles. Luna sat in the corner like a rat. The rustling of the leaves outside the window echoed in a whisper to her quiet sobbing crying. The heart, broken by grief of losses and lost hopes, ached in the chest, wounding inside with shards of despair and anger. Celestia read it in reddened, tearful, tear-stained eyes. At the sight of an approaching sister, Luna timidly pressed herself into a corner and visibly nervous, hid her head in a magical mane. The princess's figure merged with the darkness of the walls, and in the gloom of the thawing shadows the silhouettes of her wings were the color of the deepest and most starless night. Protruding from the mist in vague outlines, a slightly battered tail threw sapphire reflections on the floor.

Princess Celestia, aggravated by the pain of the past years, understood how difficult it would be for her sister to accept her now. Trying not to frighten Luna and do no harm to her once again, she cautiously approached a table full of fruits, wine and freshly prepared treats. A multi-colored mane lay in the air in a thick curly wave. Celestia levitated a large gilded goblet enchased by ruby inserts in front of herself and slowly poured wine from a jug. Sipping the drink, she picked up the same cup standing next to her, only of a dark color, and before her sister’s eyes she poured some wine into it. But Luna looked at her sister in a frightened way, looking like a hunted beast, and snorting discontentedly, her nose aloofly buried down, as if she were collecting remnants of silly thoughts on the floor.

Celestia felt no less tired and exhausted, and, looking at her sister with a look full of sympathy and compassion, she hardly remembered how she used to say goodbye to her in her mind.

“Goodbye my sister,” she said on that long, gloomy evening. She remained deaf to her sister's ridiculous misfortunes. She will have to use the power of the Elements of Harmony to free her sister, but it is too powerful and too rampant. Celestia was afraid to make a mistake, to do harm, and hoped to appeal to prudence for the last time, knowing full well that Luna was broken forever — Nightmare Moon had swallowed her and now not her own sister was lying in front of her, but the shadow of hatred.

That night, when Luna left the yard, Celestia left her sister in bad weather, asking for an oblivion as a gift. All these long years of the war of the sun and the moon, the battle of day and night, Celestia ran through the years, as if distraught, dispelling time by suffering. She tried to forget her sister, to admit her as an enemy, but her memory was ripe like an apple. No matter how Celestia tried, no matter how she struggled with herself, no matter how much she wanted to accept the hopelessness of the frightening reality, she could not forget the feelings of anguish.

At first glance in the chambers everything seemed to be as usual, and Luna still looked impassively in the eyes. Such nonsense, but Celestia didn’t want to give up even after the victory, didn’t want to use the power of elements to rescue her sister from the gloom of darkness, hoped to snatch the beloved Luna out of the clutches of despair, appealing to the warm feelings of her memories. And now, looking at Luna, she remembered all that veil of horrors, through which they had to go together. Celestia made up her mind to talk to her sister for the last time, cherishing in the depths of her heart the dim hope of enlightening Luna. Looking at the princess shaking in a corner, trembling with fear, she bitterly recalled how her farewell words had once said to her, trying to come to terms with the inevitability and forget everything forever.

“Goodbye my sister,” Celestia repeated to herself all these long years of thousands of battles from night to night, but it was all in vain, because she didn’t care.
Celestia was ready to continue to fight until the end, and even if the battle for the balance of day and night was won, the cult of the dark templar was defeated and defeated at the price of not small, but the main battle for Luna's soul was still ahead. Celestia couldn’t lose it, couldn’t allow Nightmare Moon to take her sister, couldn’t let her win, remaining defeated. Lost in the madness, Luna condemned her to eternal sorrow, viscous abyss of suffering. And in the incoherent viscous mist Celestia will rush headlong through the centuries in a straight line like a mad mare, forgetting about the way back, will again and again fight with herself, make herself forget the intolerable bitterness, but everything will be in vain, because the heart will never forget.

Celestia stood across from her sister, slowly sipping wine from the goblet, and again she was a friend and an enemy forever. She wanted the crying to finally subside, to finally dry up the river of tears of her sister, to enclose her in a warm embrace, forgetting about the bitterness of hardship and loss. Before trying to drive the darkness out of her soul with the help of elements, Celestia wanted to heal Luna with a last evening talk, hoping to put out the embers of the hatred that had burned her soul all these long years. And then the Moon will rise again, flooding the empty night sky, the hanging silence will shimmer with the magic of stars and covers the void of solitude in the sky. Celestia hoped that when Luna accepted her forgiveness, the sisters' mutual pain would finally dissolve into sympathy as the stars dissolve in the scarlet blood of the dawn in the sky in the morning.

A curtain stirred in the wind through the window, a puff of impulse shook the mane, a slight tremor passed through the body. Celestia realized that it was time, and, sighing heavily, came closer to Luna.

“Dear sister. I'm sorry, luck turned away from you today. Your heart is dark and piercingly empty, everything is as it is, no offense, no embellishment”, Celestia turned to her sister, shaking wine in the goblet.

“No matter how hard you try to roll your fate, you cannot replace fallen dice. The candlelit chambers are utterly cozy, but you are a prisoner in these walls, despite you're almost a guest”, she added with restless sadness.

Luna reluctantly raised her head and looked into all her eyes. A cold steel glance, like a faded ray from a silver star, burned Celestia’s soul. A sore heart sank into her chest. She shuddered with fear and discomfort and, still not leaving her dim hopes of gaining mutual understanding, smiled tightly.

“As you remember, in our castle all the time someone was staying. Please do not hesitate, since you happen to. Knowing the conversation is long, I will allow us to pour wine so that you can enjoy my hospitality”, Celestia said and, levitating the second cup to Luna, warmed her with a sympathetic look. – “Good evening, my own sister, captive and guest”.

But Luna coldly pulled away and looked at Celestia with indifference.

“Sister, you're tired, you are tormented by wounds. The body will heal, but the soul is bleeding harder. You deliriously repeated, well, it was not at all strange, the names of the lost friends” Celestia let out in a choked voice. – “Do you really think that after all that was, I cannot forgive you? But this is not at all the case. In fact, I forgave you a long time ago, I atoned for your soul with tears, and now I ask you to accept my forgiveness”, she cried, “I beg you, do not reject my help. Let's drain the cups as a sign of reconciliation, forgive each other and stop hiding each other's anger! After all, I could not live without you, beloved sister”, - Celestia begged tearfully.

Luna sat indifferently beside her, leaning against the wall and knitting her eyebrows menacingly, looking at Celestia with a look full of impotent anger.

“I advise us to leave the tears of lost dreams for the stars to shine”, - continued to beg Celestia, “To us nothing is given in immortality! Just drink wine and forget about the pain for a while!” - She desperately screamed through the weeping, stretching to Luna the filled cup.

“We are only timeless wanderers of sadness in an unjust and contradictory world and have no right to decide anything, let's just drink as a sign of reconciliation and forget about offenses and pain!”
Celestia took a deep breath, lifted a hoof to her chest and accompanied her words with a sympathetic look, but Luna only curled her lips in displeasure and snorted contemptuously.

“Smile, please, drown melancholy and sadness in tart red wine. Drain the cup to the bottom, warm the chilled soul with the ashes of suffering in a glass at the bottom. Please, listen to me, I hope, let the wine cloud your mind and the memory of the tragedies of the vanished years. Don’t blind me with a predatory smile in an evil grin. I know, it is bitter to swallow the poison of defeat. I beg you, do not hide your anger behind sadness, I know how much the strings of the soul hurt, but kindness exists in Equestria and no one will be left destitute of it. I ask you to forget about disagreements and I pray to share with me the sorrow of a long separation!” - once again stretching the goblet to Luna, she asked for the best sense of her sister.

“If you are so worried, why haven’t you said so far why your view is so calm?” depressed, Luna asked in a thin silver voice.

“The answer is simple! My conscience is clear, it is not tainted with dirt of treason! Only one thing will save us. Just drink wine and forget about the captivity!” - Celestia burst into tears, “I beg you, forget about the insults and pain! Yes, it will come back again and burn us with a new force, and let us burn in it together in a hot, fierce fire, but for now, let's forgive each other and leave everything behind! Feeling her heart squeeze in the grip of despair”, shouted Celestia.

“Pa-a-a-a-in,” Luna whispered, gritting her teeth and closing her eyes.

“Only one thing will save us, just drink wine and forget for a while about distrust of each other, anger, hatred and resentment! About all that was! Let's close the broken circle of day and night! Let's return the unity of the family! Please hear my words! Come and drink wine together and forget about captivity for a while! And forget about the pain for a while!” - Celestia raised the cup as if it was unbearably heavy. She handed the drink to her sister, but Luna looked away, not accepting a plea, and looked at the cup with contempt as if she saw poison in it.

“Good evening my sister, captive and guest!” desperately said Celestia.

Luna just turned away. Celestia already wanted to quit persuasion and leave disappointed, but then the horn shone with a bright shimmer and Luna, without turning around, levitated the cup and, sniffing the drink, took a faint sip.

Celestia smiled softly, lowered her ears, hiding them under a cascade of flowing multicolored curls. She went to the window and closed it with a thick curtain. A soft half-light filled the hut, lit by only a few candles. With a slow movement of the hooves, Celestia smoothed her hair, straightened Luna's bangs and looked at her. In the haze of melting shadows her beauty seemed inexhaustible. Carefully covered with dark blue fur in the most delicate places, Luna looked charming and mysteriously beautiful. Elder sister wanted to comfort, hug, caress her. She wanted to reveal all her secrets. For the first time in so many years enjoying her picturesque appearance, Celestia noticed all the new attractive details. A slender, athletic figure, elegant shapes of legs and hoofs, black specks on the cutie mark and thin ears looked superb. Even now, the princess of the night looked gorgeous.

Luna turned around and took another sip. She looked with a pronounced softness, but her eyes, as before, gave an icy shimmer. It was terrible to imagine what was behind the dark sapphire, flashing with impatience, in her big wet eyes. Celestia was frightened. She had already seen her sister so exciting and seductively dangerous. In the twilight, Luna was seen especially wild. Predatory, hungry. His eyes burned with a dark blue flame. A smile - an animal grin with sharp fangs and saliva from the mouth, sparkled with white teeth and inspired horror. Celestia backed away slowly. Now she understood why other ponies were eschewed from her sister. It seemed - Luna could now eat anyone with giblets. Her mouth is big, it should be toothy, voracious. Everything fits.

Luna swallowed, narrowed her eyes, and bent as if she was preparing to pounce on her sister. Celestia closed her eyes, and Night Princess came up and gently nibbled her ear, after having licked her earlobe.

“Aaaa! What's gotten into you?!” - Celestia screamed and winced at the pleasant sensations of affectionate tickling.

Body chills ran. Luna stroked her face with her hoof, and then gently luminous her. Luna carefully hugged her sister, laughed loudly and licked behind the ear once more. Celestia did not immediately come to her senses and did not fully understand whether it was a dream. The younger princess walked around, scratched herself and gently took her sister's hoof, dispelling laughter.

“Stop mocking me. You never know what to expect from you.”

In response, Luna changed her attractive face, re-gained a kind and friendly look. Not a trace remains from the recent dangerous predator and the unfortunate foal. Native, familiar Princess Luna appeared before Celestia. Fascinatingly captivating, irresistible beauty. Luna was amazing and incomparable. When she stood straight, knees together, her thighs were prohibitively wide apart. They visually acquired a larger volume, as if swollen and neat lobules of the genitals opened up by themselves, like a flower, exposing through the blue hairs hidden inside the scarlet petals. From her sensual, weary sighs, she realized that Luna had become completely unaccustomed to petting and intimacy with other ponies.

“It seems you have grown a little bit. Can I? I will be gentle”, - Celestia stretched to her head.

Luna did not resist, trusted in touch. Hearing a tone of admiration, she smiled favorably and, seeing Celestia staring at her, leaned forward.

“Alicorn’s alicorn. Nopony has the same. It is long as a leg, just huge. Very beautiful. You have everything, no matter how you look, big and impressive!” - Celestia admired.

Luna smiled, tugged at the ear and straightened the horn, as if a crown had come down, and then lifted her eyes and winked. Sunbutt looked at her sister all-consuming. Her eyes became vexed and greedy. With a powerful, but gentle movement, she pushed her sister to the side. She touched the thick undercoat on her chest and tried out all his uniquely airy softness, as if she touched a mug to fresh cotton candy. Looking at her sister, Celestia sank lower, demanding a hoof along her body. She stroked her belly. Even earth ponies could surely envy the stony strength of her muscles. Celestia hugged her hips, felt the heat between her legs. In the hollow it was barely visible to the rim of her delicate flower hiding in the crotch. Upwardly swollen nipples shuddered when touched.

“Oooo, whoa, princess. All princesses princess. Horned, butty, spoiled. So that is what you have in mind. ”

Luna, lifting her ears, stared at her sister without embarrassment. She attentively looked with concealed anticipation, caught every her movement. She caught any weakest swing of the hoof, slow step, imperceptible turn, careless glance and all sorts of sounds of any rustling. Celestia saw strands of tendons stretching along the back of her hips. They froze in tension, forcing inviting shudder. Gently touching them, she felt like the moisture between her legs was dripping from the most tender slit. Down there, Luna was especially sensitive and trembled by even the most careful touch. In response to stroking and quivering caresses, she gave a long moan, teased with a weak sigh to sweeten the wait. From her voice and the warmth of her breath, a slight shudder ran through Celestia's body, temptation burning in her chest. Luna was all wet between her legs, plentifully flowed down and dropped heavy heavy drops on the floor. The internal moisture irrigated the dark blue carpet as if it were fresh dew and it smelled surprisingly pleasant and felt sweet to the taste. It seemed to Celestia that she had already tried such an exquisite delicacy. Raising her wetted hoof to her nose, she noticed Luna’s lascivious look on her.

Celestia and Luna approached and embraced, diving into sweet honey smells. Wax candles burned to one side of them, winding in a romantic mood. They seemed to suggest how to act, silently whispering among themselves. Luna noticed how her sister stared into her lips with an eager look, and slowly ran her tongue over them, turning it into a juicy delicacy. Celestia did not have time to blink, as Luna clung to her tongue, as if licking a juicy fruit, and grabbing her head to herself clutched with her in a long hot kiss. She acted hastily, as if she was afraid of losing her again, and delivered an unforgettable pleasure.

The world of Celestia’s sensations exploded with a blueberry flavor and a sweet aroma, in one instant flooded the mind and eclipsed all other thoughts. It was felt vivid, but not cloying, so amazing that the taste became color, and the sound was a feeling of everything most pleasant that Celestia knew. Celestia choked in rich spicy sweetness. She didn’t have enough air to hold her breath, but she couldn’t allow herself to inhale and even for a moment break away from pleasure. Feelings were new and very strong. She was unable to stop and continued to kiss Luna passionately, violently, madly. Celestia hugged her lovely, neat mouth with her lips, tried to cover him all over, greedily licked the nectar from her tender lips. Squinting, pulling ears, hoofing along the strands, Luna skillfully intertwined with her sister tongue, giving delightfully gentle caresses. The sensation of Celestia’s hot body felt dizzy. No ordinary stallion could give her such pleasure. In a long, protracted kiss, she felt all the possible colors of joy. Celestia felt her sister nicely lick. The sisters rubbed each other muzzles, as if doing a massage for themselves. Luna sucked, licked Celestia's lips like a juicy candy. The taste melted in the mouth with pleasure, hit in the head, filled the mind with bliss. She literally put her tongue in her mouth entirely. The sisters couldn't tear themselves apart. They grappled, as if glued, sucking each other and stopped only when they began to choke.

“Keep on! More!”, said Luna on exhalation.

With an inaccurate movement, she touched the candelabrum, and the room was plunged into darkness.

“Maybe at least open the curtains?” - Luna asked.

“I'll do it,” said Celestia, clearly upset by this sudden interruption.

She would prefer to lie with Luna, even in the midst of eternal darkness, even if no other pony existed in the world, only the two of them. Together, as it was before this stupid war, as it was before all this senseless losses and suffering.

The elder sister lit the room with a horn and went to the window. When she pushed the curtain away with magic, the bright moonlight flooded the room, brighter than the sun itself. Celestia abruptly turned around, behind her stood Luna with a piercing, angry look right at her. Her eyes sparkled like Alpha Lyrae, her horn glowed brightly, as if she had read some kind of spell, by her very appearance she embodied the worst nightmare.

“End you? Shall I, or shan't I?” Luna quietly asked.

Some dark magic enveloped Celestia, squeezing it from the inside, and darkness and despair overwhelmed the heart, it seemed that something burned inside her. Just a minute ago, a spark of hope illuminated her path, but now it faded and her mind began to frantically rush in search of a new lodestar. Maybe she should give up, maybe she should kneel before Nightmare Moon and let the eternal night devour Equestria. At least she will not lose the dearest she has. Like two powerful evil witches, they will wander around the world, wreaking havoc and destruction, bringing its inevitable death near. And not a single pony will be able to oppose the power of the two fallen sisters. Suddenly a sharp pain pierced her whole body. She involuntarily swayed, almost fell, cleared her throat with blood, dropping her royal crown. Luna levitated it to herself, and then turned it in front of her eyes several times, as if considering and thinking over something.

“I can rule right here, can't I?”- Luna asked herself.

Not waiting for an answer Luna threw the crown back to Celestia and elder sister instinctively reached for her.

“Not another step!”

“Did you really expect me to sit idly by while they all basked in your precious light? There can only be one princess in Equestria! And that princess WILL BE ME!”

She kicked hard with her front legs and the crack spread over the floor.

“Luna, I will not fight you! You must lower the moon! It is your duty!”

“Luna? I am... Nightmare Moon! I have but one royal duty now: to destroy you! “

Black magic dug more into Celestia, devouring her strength from within, until she fell unconscious. When she woke up, Luna was no longer around. The full moon eclipsed the sun, leaving only the scarlet rim of it.

“Oh, dear sister. I am sorry, but you have given me no choice but to use these.”
