Oak said as we went into Monarch Solutions. We then went into the testing area there was a time machine and reflectors just like in Quantum Break. "This looks familiar. A bit too familiar." I said. "Guys, what exactly is this?" Blue asked. "Blue, what your looking at is the first ever time machine. It works off of Twilight particles to transmit someone or something to a different time in the future or past." "Okay, but what is the actual reason you want to do this?" "I never met my father and neither did Oak. What was your father like?" "I can't answer that because I never knew him because he left and never came back." "So you understand now, don't you?" "Yes, I do. But I don't want to go back in time yet. Just let me be the one to intiate the machine." "Okay, sounds good to me." I then followed Oak into the machine and closed the hatch. But then the unexpected happened. Olivia "Asshole" Sentury came into the lab. "Oh fuck!" I yelled. "What are you three doing here? Didn't Twilight warn you about unsupervised experiments?" Olivia asked. "Are you here to supervise us? Do you even know why were doing this?" Blue asked. "Yes, I do. Listen, I love you Blue. But this is too dangerous." "I know it's dangerous, but I have to take this chance. Please, I need to do this." Olivia then smiled. "Okay, go ahead." Olivia said as Blue pulled the lever. But then the machine started to make warning signs. "Girls, what the hell is going on?" I asked. "Someone is overriding the machine!" Blue yelled. "Overriding? Oh no..." Oak said as the machine created a shockwave explosion. I then woke up but there was a multitude of problems. I could see through my body and the machine looked huge. I also saw bacteria and then it came to me. "Holy shit! I'm microscopic!" I yelled as a bacteria cell came near me. "Hello. You must be Bright. Oak is looking for you." It said. I then followed the bacteria cell to Oak. "Oak, why the fuck are we microscopic?" I asked. "Simple, the machine malfunctioned. Our size must be because of the Twilight particles. But on the bright side, look outside." Oak said. I then looked outside and saw Blue and Olivia were walking towards us. "That's great news. Go to Blue's boot." I commanded. "But she's so far away. How are we even going to get close from over here?" Oak asked. There was then a jet stream of air that pushed us onto the toe of Blue's boot. But the ride didn't stop there because we were small enough to fit through the material in her boot. We then landed on Blue's sock. It was blue and yellow patterned with stripes. "Well, we did it." I said. Both of our stomachs then grumbled. "You too, huh?" I asked. Suddenly, our world shook as Blue stretched her toes. We then saw the fabric stretch and we fell down onto a orange, soft surface that was filled with bacteria. We also saw from in the distance was her blue painted toenails. "We must've fell through." I said as I helped Oak up. "Oh no. And I'm still hungry. What are we going to do?" Oak asked. We then looked around and saw that other bacteria were eat skin off of Blue's foot. "Oh hell naw!" Oak yelled. "Oak, we have to eat sometime soon. Just try it." I said as I ate a piece of dead skin. I then had a smile on my face because of the taste. It tasted better than candy. Oak then tried some and had my same expression. We then digged deeper for more until we reached a different material. "Must be her actual skin." I confered. "This is exactly what we need, Bright. Attack!" Oak said as I punched it. The world then shook again and the foot was coming out of the sock. I then saw Blue and Olivia's face looking down on us, but with confusion. "Why does it feel like a bug just bit me?" Blue boomingly said. I couldn't believe she didn't feel a thing when we flew at her. She then look at us with a wide-eyed expression. "Bright? Oak? Is that you?" She asked. We then dropped her dead skin. "Wait, you can see us?" I asked. "Yes. I can also hear you. Were you the ones that hurt my foot?" She asked with anger. "Yeah, sorry about that. We needed to get your attention." Oak explained. "What's my dead skin for?" She asked. "Survival. We saw other bacteria eating it so we ate it as well. It's actually good to eat." I explained. "Bright, that is fucking disgusting." Olivia said with disgust. "Well, at least it will make my skin look better." Blue said trying to defend us. She then mashed her finger on us and walked outside with Olivia. Her finger surprisingly held us together. "Have you two even tried turning back to normal?" She asked as she put us on the ground. I then saw mom waiting in my room with an angry expression on her face. I then saw it was 12:01 which should be impossible because my phone read 11:31. "Hey, mom." I greeted mom with a smile as Melody came in. She wasn't buying it and was fucking pissed. "Didn't I tell you to come home before midnight?" Mom asked. I then heard girls laughing downstairs and smiled slyly. "Does mom know about your sleepover?" I said as she turned white faced. She then opened a book and closed my windows and door with a spell. "Melody! Let us out this instant!" I yelled at her. "I'm sorry, Bright. I'm afraid I can't do that for you. Not until mom gets back." She said in a sly tone. Yeah, I was pretty fucked. "Wait, until Ms. Lulamoon gets back?" Oak asked. "Goddammit Melody." I said. "Enjoy your stay." Melody said with laughter. Me and Oak then started to panic. "This is bad. Really, REALLY BAD!" Oak said with fear. "Don't worry, Oak. Were both problem solvers. We can get out of this tiny problem. I know we can." I told him trying to calm him down. He then looked like a lightbulb shined above his head. "Bright, what kind of a problem is this?" Oak asked. "A tiny problem." I answered. Then hit me. "Wait, that's it!" I said as we both shrunk down to microscopic size. We then ran towards the door and saw a white girl and a blue girl talking to Melody. I didn't know a lot about both of them but I did know all of Melody's friends crush bugs on sight. "Oh great. How we going to get past them?" Oak asked. "We don't need to." I said pointing at a vent. We then ran towards the vent. We then followed the vent to go outside. As we were about to go outside, the vent turned on and blew us out onto the sidewalk. What pissed me off the most was that I saw Blue and Olivia walking into the party my sister planned. "Hold the fuck up. What are they doing here?" I asked. "Must've been invited to this party. We'll deal with that later, okay?" Oak said. "Okay." We then grew back to normal and ran to the warehouse. Let me explain what the hell the warehouse is. The warehouse is our base of operations, our imagination station, and our safehouse. The safehouse part was needed because of the trouble we get in. One time I spray painted the words "Protect the Retros" on a government building. They didn't see who I was because of my mask and hood, but they remember the clothes, so I had to destroy them. "Remember the memories we made in here?" Oak asked. "Hell yeah. But why are we here?" I asked. "To test a theory. Blue and Olivia earned super speed from the explosion. I even found Twilight radiation from my dna. Now, we get to find out if we earned super powers or not." "Blue and Olivia have super speed? I wonder what we got..." "Only one way to find out." Oak then threw a rock at me. Normally, I would just let it hit me because of my poor reflexes. But this time, the rock slowed down and I just walked out the way. "Okay, so it is confirmed. We both have ESP." He said. "ESP? What the hell?" I asked. "Extrasensory Perception or as Marvel calls it, 'Spider Sense.' " Oak explained. "No, it was more of Accelerated Vision because time just slowed down." "Time slowed down? I guess I can make that exception. Now, onto the next test. Run around the warehouse." I then ran around the warehouse for what seemed like a minute. But when I came back to Oak he said it was ten seconds. "Ten seconds!?" I surprisingly asked. "Yeah, but it wasn't super speed. I can prove it." Oak said as he got out a rock. "Stop this rock with out moving from that spot." He then threw it in front of me and I pretend like I had Psychic powers and tried to stop the rock. What actually happened was that the rock stopped in a blue orb I somehow created. "What the fuck?" I asked. "Just as I thought. Now focus and tell me what you see around the warehouse." Oak said as I closed my eyes. I then could see everything such as flags around the warehouse. I then opened my eyes. "Flags." I said. "Great! Now for the more advanced test." Oak said as he pulled a string and destroyed a bridge. "Put it back together." I then put the bridge back together as if time reversed itself. "Holy shit!" I yelled. Oak then placed two huge boulders in front of me. "Impressive. Now for the final test. Focus your energy and destroy both the boulders." Oak ordered. I then focused my energy as if it were a bomb and I destroyed the boulders with one hit. I then entered a freak out mode until Oak calmed me down. "This concludes my test. We both have the same powers." He said. "We do? Oak, this is amazing." I said. You probably are confused to why I was happy. Well, imagine being the son of a superhero and finding out you have superpowers. How would you feel? Proud is the answer. But, the work wasn't done. I've got to fix my sister's bitchy attitude. "We know our powers work. Now all we need is a test run." Oak said. "Test run? Like "save the day" test run? Well, I've got the perfect test." I said. We then went to the rooftop my house which was now dubbed "Hoes Party Gone Wrong" brought to you by Melody "Bitch" Lulamoon. Before we went in, I called Blue to see if she was alright. I knew something was up because her phone went straight to voice mail. "Shit. Her phone won't pick up." I told Oak. "But she charged it before she left." Oak said. In the future, once you call someone you can see they're battery percentage. She was on one hundred percent. Yeah, something is cockblocking my reception. I knew I would need to destroy what ever was causing the interference in order to score a "home-run". Speaking of which, I didn't mind scoring a "home-run" with a few ladies at the party that night. I then smiled. "Oak, what time is it?" I asked. "9:11 PM." He answered. I then shook my head and we both shared a chuckled. "That's true, but not the answer I was looking for Oak. IT'S SHOWTIME!" I said. We then shrunk down to microscopic size and fell between the cracks of the house and landed inside my room. "Well, were back to square one...again." Oak said reluctantly. "Not exactly. Were on New Game+ thanks to our powers." I said to cheer him up. We then walked out of my room and into the hallway. When we got into the hallway, we saw Sunny and Olivia talking. We then ran up into Blue's ear. "BLUE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?" I asked. "Bright? Where are you?" Blue asked. "Blue? Is everything alright? Bright's not here." Olivia said. "No, he is. I hear him." "I'm in your ear with Oak." I said. "Olivia, he's in my ear with Oak." Blue said. "Oh yeah. He has the power to shrink to microscopic size. But why is he here? This is a girls only party." Olivia said. "Technically, I can't leave at all. Melody got me grounded for a month by framing me for the lab incident and my messy room. She even hacked into the clocks to make it look like I arrived late." I said. "She did what?" Blue asked. "She? Who is 'she'?" Olivia asked. "Melody. She caused the lab accident, made Bright's room messy, and hacked into the clocks causing him to get grounded for a month." "I didn't think she had it in her. This isn't like her to do something so evil. This is fucked up by even my standards. I wouldn't get you grounded on purpose Blue. She even kicked my ass when I hurt Bright, so why she's doing this doesn't make sense." Olivia then stuck her finger into Blue's ear. "Bright, climb on. Oak, stay here with Blue." Olivia ordered. I then climbed on to the top of her red fingernail. "I'm on." I said. "He's on." Blue said. Olivia then pulled her finger out and placed me on the bridge of her black bra. "Olivia, why am I right here of all places?" I asked. "What's wrong? Feeling uncomfortable? I thought you would have loved that area." Olivia said as she let out a little chuckle. "No. It's not that." I then saw Olivia look down at me and I blushed. "Aww, you're blushing. How sweet." She said. "This isn't funny, Olivia! Why the hell am I in here?" I asked. "I'm going to get to the bottom of why Melody is acting like this. I need you to hide on my bra because Melody is know for finding the most random things." This is actually true. She has a knack for finding the most hidden things and acts like Tiffany from The Ant Bully whenever she sees a bug. The funny thing is that Tiffany acts like a brat towards her little brother. "Okay. You've got a point. Let's just get this over with." I said as Olivia went to go find Melody. When she found her, she was talking with friends while smoking outside. Yeah, we both have so many secrets. "Hi, Melody. You smoke now?" Olivia asked. I was honestly surprised that she didn't know. "It's not real. Just a prop I kept from theater. What's wrong?" Melody asked. "Where's Bright? I just wanted to know." Olivia asked. "He's in his room. Don't bother him, though. He's grounded." "Grounded? What happened?" "I framed him for causing a lab accident, having a messy room, and coming home late." There's the proof. Straight from the bitch's mouth. "You did? That's amazing! But why did you do it?" Olivia asked. "If you really want to know, come upstairs to my room." Melody said as they walked to her room. When we got to her room she locked the door. "This must be really private." Olivia whispered to me. "Yes. It is." Melody said with a smile. This surprised us both. "Aw shit. Does she know about me?" I asked. "Yeah. I do." Melody answered. You would think I was fucked, right? Well, the opposite happened. "Olivia, take him out and put him in the palm of my hand." Melody ordered. Olivia then did what she was told and Melody looked down at me. I was honestly scared because she wasn't herself. She then looked back up at Olivia. "Melody, what's going on? Why did you frame your brother?" Olivia asked. "That's what I came to talk to you both about. My mother works for the government and she just so happens to be Mayor Cinch's close friend." Melody said. Yep, that's the truth. The evil principal from CPA turns into the Mayor of Lancerlot. If you can't tell already, this future is fucked from all directions. "Wait, MAYOR CINCH!?" Olivia said. "Keep your goddamn voice down. Yes, she is close friends with mom but I don't get along with her." Melody said. "I can see why. I hate our government." "Yeah, me too. The reason I framed Bright was because she told me to." This pissed me off bad. "What!?" I said as she looked down on me with a frown. "I'm sorry Bright, but I had to. She's a very powerful and dangerous woman. What would you have done?" She asked. "Well for starters, I would have said 'no'." Olivia answered. Melody then looked up. "But isn't rebellion wrong?" She asked. I then let out a sigh as Melody looked down. "Melody if rebelling against evil deeds are wrong, then to hell with being right!" I told her. She then smiled once more. "Yeah, your right. Fuck the Mayor!" Melody yelled. She was pretty caught up in the moment. Her phone alarm then rung and revealed it to be 10 PM. We then looked outside and saw everyone leaving. "Oh no. The party's over and mom will be back by morning." She said as she ran out her room. When we got out, we saw the house was spotless. Melody then let out a sigh of relief. "Well, that was close..." She said as she placed me on the ground. I then grew back to normal. Blue then came out of nowhere with Oak. "Olivia, mom want's us to go home right away." She said. "I better get home as well." Oak said. They all then left. Melody then destroyed the magical locks that were put on my room. "There, now you can go to bed." Melody said. "Thanks, Melody. Good night. I love you." I said as I went into my room. "I love you too." I then fell asleep. Chapter 5: Time ShiftThe next day came and school was canceled for some unknown reason. I woke up at 8 AM because Oak texted me. Oak: Hey Bright Me: Hey Oak. What's up? Why are you texting me? Oak: Just needed to speak to you. Guess who came to my house yesterday He then showed me a picture of mom, Ms. Wood, and Ms. Sentury talking at a table. "What the hell?" I asked myself. Me: Why is mom and Ms. Sentury over there? Oak: Just a little get together. They were friends in high school That wasn't fully true. Y'know how your best friend has another friend and they're suppose to be your "friend"? Well, that's the relationship between mom and Ms. Wood. This was extremely suspicious. Me: What else did want to talk to me about? Oak: I need you to come over here Me: What!? Now? Oak: Yes Me: I'm grounded still. If she finds me, that's my ass Oak: I know but yesterday they told me they're watching a movie by themselves so we should be alright Welp, saved my ass. Me: Alright I'll be there Oak: Okay I didn't know why he need me to come to the lab, but this seemed important. I left out my window and ran as fast as I could to Monarch Solutions. When I got there, I saw the mothers inside playing cards. Before they could see me, I shrank to microscopic size and ran to the door. In case you didn't know I like to fuck with a lot of people, but this time I wanted to trick the mothers and not Oak. So, I got my phone out and texted him. Me: Your doorbell's about to ring. Don't answer it! Oak: ? Me: I'm going to "ding dong ditch" the guests Oak: I see what's going on. Go ahead. They deserve it. That last line kinda confused me. "They deserve it?" I asked myself. Something must've happened last night. I then rang the door bell and let the fun begin. "Hello?" Ms. Wood asked as she stepped outside. I then climbed her purple shoes. "Goddamn pranksters." She said as she walked back inside. When she got back inside, I ran up to Oak's room and reverted my size. His room was purple colored and had a wooden floor. Yeah, he got the hand-me-down room but it never bothered him, but that's not the worst part. When I got there, he wasn't there at all. My size then suddenly went back to microscopic. I then saw that Oak shot me with a modified disc gun. "You like that? I call it the 'Twilight Disc Gun' or TDG for short. I made one for you and me." He said as he gave me a green one. "That's amazing. You should also make a 'Twilight Zone Gun' or TZG." I said. "I'm thinking about that one, but we're getting off topic. I think we fucked up." It surprised me that he blamed us for a mistake and we never make mistakes. "Oak, what the hell do you mean by "we"?" I asked. "We used that machine and caused an accident. But now that I think about it, I built the machine. This is my fault!" He said blaming himself. "Bullshit! It's not your fault! Melody sabotaged the machine, but she was told to do that by Mayor Cinch. If anyone is to blame it's the government. But how did the government fuck up?" "Let me put this in terms for you to understand. Time is an egg and the time machine explosion cracked the egg. As time progresses, the crack gets bigger until time is fucked, which means..." "...the end of time." "Yeah and that's not the worst part. In order to fix it, we need a nuclear counter measure." "Nuclear? Where are we gonna get a hold of that?" "Not sure. But we don't have long." "How much is 'not long' ?" "Two months from now before time fucks us dry." After a while, Ms. Wood came in...with a goddamn broom and dustpan. "What is she doing in here?" Oak asked as she began to sweep. "Bright, follow me. We're going to my lab." Not very smart if you ask me. I mean my name is Bright after all. "The lab? Do you seriously want to get caught again?" I asked. "This time things will be different." He said. Not too sure about that. "How?" I asked. "You'll see." He said as we ran to the lab. When we got there, he showed me blueprints for a wingsuit. It was fitted with nanofiber material, two high-powered grappling hooks, and a mask that looked very simular to Spiderman 2099. Well, he is my favorite superhero. "Are we going to build that?" I asked. "No. You are. It should be easy. Just follow the instructions and you'll do just fine." He said with a smile. Believe it or not, it was easy because it was 3D printed. When it printed, I put it on and tested it out. I did this by jumping down and gliding around. I also used my grappling hooks to zip and swing around the lab and back to Oak. "Oak, this suit is amazing." I said. "Glad you like it. You can keep it but before you go, you need a secret identity." He said. This got me to thinking, where the hell was his suit? "Oak, where is your suit?" I asked. "I don't need one. I want you to be the superhero. I've already got the job as Head Nigga in Charge." He said with a little laugh. "Okay. Let's see, what about Time Shift?" "Yeah, I like that." From that moment on, Time Shift was born thanks to The Director. I then ran back home back into my room and reverted size. When I got there, it was 6 PM and no one decided to wake me up. I knew this because my door didn't open at all. Pretty weird, right? Not as weird as if someone found my suit. To avoid that, I hid it behind my dresser and would take it out when needed. As I finished hiding my suit, Melody opened the door and I saw Mom and Ms. Sentury behind her. Aw shit. "Hi, Melody and mom. What's wrong?" I asked. "Just checking on you." Mom said. "I'm about to go to a beach party and mom along with Ms. Sentury are going to look after you." Melody explained. Fuck. Melody then left the house and the new babysitters left my room as I sat on my bed. I then got a call from Oak. What the hell was he calling me for? "Hi, Oak. What's up?" I asked. "Bright, where's Melody?" He asked. "Going to a beach party. Why?" "We need to stop that party. It's an organized party." Organized parties are government-controlled parties that organize violence. Organized violence usually in most cases lead to death. Do you see why I fucking hate our government now? "Organized party? Fuck!" I said as I hung up. This was fucking insane. Not only do I have to save my sister from death, but I have to avoid being seen from the women of the house. At first glance that second part was easy because I have a window, but it was sealed shut by magic. "Dammit, Melody. Looks like I'll have to go the long way this time." I said to myself as I got my suit and put it on. I then shrunk to microscopic size and ran out. My trip was stopped short by the air conditioner and I landed on the TV remote power button. Mom then grabbed the TV remote and turned on the TV. This caused me to get stuck on her thumb. After a few seconds, I got unstuck and landed on the floor next to her boot. "He's awfully quiet up there. Should we check on him?" Ms. Sentury asked. "No, he's fine. We don't need to worry." Mom said. "I suppose you're right, but from what you told me earlier, this is his first time getting grounded. Are you sure he's fine?" Yeah, no bullshit. Mom doesn't believe in learning by pain or punishment. So this was a huge surprise. "He'll manage. I remember getting grounded for a whole week when I promised to go to an amusement park with Thunder." Mom said. "Really? What did you do?" Ms. Sentury asked. "Well, I snuck out." "You don't think Bright will follow your footsteps, do you?" "Not a chance. Besides, how's he gonna sneak out? It's not like he could just walk right out the front door." Mom then put her boot up and accidently kicked me out the window. That is irony at best. I then ran away from my house to the beach party and reverted my size near a building. I was actually glad I wasn't the only one up there. "Hey, Oak. You ready" I asked. "Yeah." He said. "Then let's get moving." We then shrunk down and entered the beach party. You would think maneuvering around the beach would be hard. Well, it was actually easy. The sand didn't pose much of a problem because of the shit ton of sandals that landed on us and allowed us to hitch a ride. Also, I don't know why I'm saying this right now when it happened in the second chapter, but metabolism raises when you shrink down to microscopic size. Me and Oak don't eat much and we suddenly got hungry after a few minutes of being shrunken. Hitching a ride is important because the amount of dead skin provided for us to eat is endless. I know it sounds fucking disgusting, but if we don't eat it at that size, we'll die. After a while of using traffic to our advantage, me and Oak used one of Melody's friend's flip flop to get to Melody. When we found Melody, she was in her own private tent with her friends. Too bad Melody doesn't sell things on the black market. Otherwise, I could say she was acting pretty "shady". "Oh, good. You're here. Close the tent quickly. This is important." Melody said as her friend came in and closed the tent. She then sat down criss crossed as me and Oak got hungry. Like I said before hunger is our fucking kryptonite. We then ate some dead skin. Here's the catch to eating. Eat too quickly and you'll get the attention of the host. We found that out the hard way because as we were eating, she thought something was irritating her foot. She then rubbed her foot causing us to fly off. Luckily, I glided to the skirt of another girl. As for Oak...he wasn't so lucky. "Bright!" Oak yelled. He was on the frame of Melody's sunglasses. I then saw Melody reach for her sunglasses. He was frozen in some deep shit. Something needs to be said about my friend. He is afraid of heights and Melody's unaware actions were not helping at all. That's why I quickly glided onto Melody's black glasses frame to help a friend in need. By the time I got there, he was scared shitless. "Oak, calm down. Okay?" I told him. "How can I be calm at a time like this?" He asked. "Listen, I know you're scared. But you need to be brave. Girls love a brave boy." He still continued to whimper. This was going to take a while... "Oak, who at our high school do you love the most?" I asked. "Melody." He answered. I'll be honest, I would love to be the brother-in-law to Oak. Hell, we treat ourselves like bros already. "Why is that?" I asked. "She's beautiful and caring. I remember this one time we were both getting bullied and she came to our rescue. She became more than a popular girl to me that day." He said. This is actually true. But what pisses me off is the fact that she didn't even stop the bully. She just gave a simple "leave them alone" look. All because of her beauty. "Okay. Think about her for a moment. Try to be brave for her." I told him. "Okay. I-I'll do my best." Oak said as he calmed down. Melody then tried to make a call and my phone rang. Why me? What could she possibly want? "Hey, Melody. How's the party?" I asked. "I'd like you to tell me yourself. Better yet, you and Oak should tell me what think so far." She said. Keep in mind, microscopic size is not visable by the naked eye. How the hell was she able to see us? That is a good fucking question. "Melody, can you see us?" I asked. "Thanks to my magic, I can see and hear you." She answered. "Then what the hell are you calling me for?" "Unlike you two, I care about my public image." This offended me. Oak as well. "Unlike you two? UNLIKE YOU TWO!? After all the trouble we had to go through just to save her, she says that shit to us!?" Oak said with anger. "Save me? What is the hell is that all about?" Melody asked. "Melody, this is a goddamn organized party! We came here to save you!" I yelled with anger. "This party isn't organized, dibshits. The mayor made sure of that." "What!? Oak, you said this was organized!" "I know what I said! It must've been a last minute change." He explained. "Yeah, he's right. It was." Melody said. "Oh, okay. Well in that case, sorry for bothering you during the party." I said. "Don't be sorry for acting with good intentions. Also, Oak, do you actually love me?" She heard the whole conversation. I could tell this was embarassing for Oak because he blushed red. "Yes, it's true." He said. Well, at least he admitted it. "Okay. Well, can you both do me a favor?" Melody asked. "Sure. What is it?" I asked. "Go home. Especially you, Bright. Pretty sure you don't want to endure mom's wrath." She didn't get nicknamed "The Great and Powerful Trixie" for nothing. Me and Oak then ran home. When I got home, I saw both adults were asleep. Going back to my bedroom was a breeze. I was about to go to bed, until I heard a yelp for help outside. "What the hell?" I asked myself. I then looked outside and saw Blue being harrassed by a group of boys. "Oh hell no!" I said as I swooped down and kicked their asses with super speed. I then checked on Blue to see if she was alright. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you." She said. "Your welcome." Another group of boys then approached us. "You beat those guys up? How embarassing." One boy said. "Get her!" Another boy yelled. Blue then covered her face and screamed. That's when I grappled them together and threw them into a trash can. I was taking out the trash after all. "Why aren't you fighting?" I asked. "Because fighting is wrong. There are better ways to resolve conflict." She said. "You do have a point, but unfortunately the world doesn't work like that. If you don't fight back, they'll just keep walking over you. You need to stand up for yourself." She then smiled. "You remind me of a certain friend of mine. He would want the same thing." She said as another boy approached us. He was wearing a white coat, golden necklace, and golden brass knuckles. Who the hell is this guy? Bling-Bling boy from Johnny Test? "What's up, bitch?" He said. This caused Blue to get angry. She then used super speed to knock out the Bling-Bling boy cosplayer. If you couldn't tell, I was getting a real good kick out of this. "Your right. I am a bitch. But I'm not your bitch. I'm the Head Bitch in Charge of your lame ass." She said. She then spat on his face and put him in the same trash bin I put the group of boys in. While they weren't looking, I shrunk down to microscopic size and left a note. When Blue went to find me, she got confused. "Where'd he go? Did he run off? That's too bad. I never caught his name." She said. She then looked down and picked up the note I left. "Time Shift. I like that name. Has a ring to it. Other than that, he might just bring justice to Lancerlot City. He was also kinda attractive." She said. She then walked off. "Attractive? Is she crushing on me?" I said to myself as I ran back to my room and into my bed. I had so many mixed emotions at that moment. Blue was in love with me. The other me. The hero me. I loved Blue as well and now I can show her. But she must never know my true identity. That is a must. Chapter 6 - Beneath the MaskSomething has gone wrong. Chapter 1: IntroductionOnce upon a time in the city of Lancerlot, there was a hero born. His name was Bright Lulamoon. Okay, hold up a sec. Who the fuck hired this guy? This script is awful. No wonder he made two bad stories in a row. I swear Thunder7669 is comparable to Marc Webb and his "The Amazing Spiderman" bullshit. I'm going to try and fix this shit once and for all. Let's start at the beginning in the year 2025. My father and my mother got married. They were destined for each other some would say. Oh, in case you were wondering, spoiler alert: Thunder and Trixie Lulamoon got married. You know these two, the Electro ripoff and the magical, egocentric bitch. So, how was I brought into this god forsaken family? Well, unfortunately I can't provide direct visuals because of the limitations of reading. But I can make a story to give you hints. This is actually the true story. I'm not making this shit up. So, Trixie and Thunder were going back home. "Thunder, since were married with a girl, I want one more kid." Trixie commanded. "You do? Okay, but I want this kid to be special and my sperm alone won't do." Thunder said. "What do you have in mind?" "My oldest sister, Adagio Dazzle is going to the nightclub with her sisters and Sunset Shimmer. Adagio also has a sexual desire disorder. So, I'm thinking we can go at it in her panties." "Won't she notice?" "No, she won't because we'll be at microscopic size. I learned how to do it last week." This made Trixie feel a lot better. They then saw her outfit was a purple dress with a matching bra and panties under it. There was then earthquakes that got louder so they shrank into Adagio's panties at microscopic size. This is more along the lines of Quantum Break. I want to see my father again. I want to meet him and be close to him." He answered. I'll admit that I was sympathetic with how he was feeling. "I understand. Okay, I'll help you." I said as Oak had a big smile on his face. "But, what about Mrs. Wood? Will she know that we're doing this?" "No, she won't. The lab has special material that insulates sound, so no one will call the police because of a sound disturbance." Oak said as we went into Monarch Solutions. We then went into the testing area there was a time machine and reflectors just like in Quantum Break. "This looks familiar. A bit too familiar." I said. "Guys, what exactly is this?" Blue asked. "Blue, what your looking at is the first ever time machine. It works off of Twilight particles to transmit someone or something to a different time in the future or past." "Okay, but what is the actual reason you want to do this?" "I never met my father and neither did Oak. What was your father like?" "I can't answer that because I never knew him because he left and never came back." "So you understand now, don't you?" "Yes, I do. But I don't want to go back in time yet. Just let me be the one to intiate the machine." "Okay, sounds good to me." I then followed Oak into the machine and closed the hatch. But then the unexpected happened. Olivia "Asshole" Sentury came into the lab. "Oh fuck!" I yelled. "What are you three doing here? Didn't Twilight warn you about unsupervised experiments?" Olivia asked. "Are you here to supervise us? Do you even know why were doing this?" Blue asked. "Yes, I do. Listen, I love you Blue. But this is too dangerous." "I know it's dangerous, but I have to take this chance. Please, I need to do this." Olivia then smiled. "Okay, go ahead." Olivia said as Blue pulled the lever. But then the machine started to make warning signs. "Girls, what the hell is going on?" I asked. "Someone is overriding the machine!" Blue yelled. "Overriding? Oh no..." Oak said as the machine created a shockwave explosion. I then woke up but there was a multitude of problems. I could see through my body and the machine looked huge. I also saw bacteria and then it came to me. "Holy shit! I'm microscopic!" I yelled as a bacteria cell came near me. "Hello. You must be Bright. Oak is looking for you." It said. I then followed the bacteria cell to Oak. "Oak, why the fuck are we microscopic?" I asked. "Simple, the machine malfunctioned. Our size must be because of the Twilight particles. But on the bright side, look outside." Oak said. I then looked outside and saw Blue and Olivia were walking towards us. "That's great news. Go to Blue's boot." I commanded. "But she's so far away. How are we even going to get close from over here?" Oak asked. There was then a jet stream of air that pushed us onto the toe of Blue's boot. But the ride didn't stop there because we were small enough to fit through the material in her boot. We then landed on Blue's sock. It was blue and yellow patterned with stripes. "Well, we did it." I said. Both of our stomachs then grumbled. "You too, huh?" I asked. Suddenly, our world shook as Blue stretched her toes. We then saw the fabric stretch and we fell down onto a orange, soft surface that was filled with bacteria. We also saw from in the distance was her blue painted toenails. "We must've fell through." I said as I helped Oak up. "Oh no. And I'm still hungry. What are we going to do?" Oak asked. We then looked around and saw that other bacteria were eat skin off of Blue's foot. "Oh hell naw!" Oak yelled. "Oak, we have to eat sometime soon. Just try it." I said as I ate a piece of dead skin. I then had a smile on my face because of the taste. It tasted better than candy. Oak then tried some and had my same expression. We then digged deeper for more until we reached a different material. "Must be her actual skin." I confered. "This is exactly what we need, Bright. Attack!" Oak said as I punched it. The world then shook again and the foot was coming out of the sock. I then saw Blue and Olivia's face looking down on us, but with confusion. "Why does it feel like a bug just bit me?" Blue boomingly said. I couldn't believe she didn't feel a thing when we flew at her. She then look at us with a wide-eyed expression. "Bright? Oak? Is that you?" She asked. We then dropped her dead skin. "Wait, you can see us?" I asked. "Yes. I can also hear you. Were you the ones that hurt my foot?" She asked with anger. "Yeah, sorry about that. We needed to get your attention." Oak explained. "What's my dead skin for?" She asked. "Survival. We saw other bacteria eating it so we ate it as well. It's actually good to eat." I explained. "Bright, that is fucking disgusting." Olivia said with disgust. "Well, at least it will make my skin look better." Blue said trying to defend us. She then mashed her finger on us and walked outside with Olivia. Her finger surprisingly held us together. "Have you two even tried turning back to normal?" She asked as she put us on the ground. "Now that you mention it..." I said as we both tried to get big again. Through our efforts, we finally reverted our size. "Hey, were back. What time is it?" I asked. Olivia then got out her phone. I then saw mom waiting in my room with an angry expression on her face. I then saw it was 12:01 which should be impossible because my phone read 11:31. "Hey, mom." First, I trashed your room with my very own trash and then I hacked into our clocks to change it to thirty minutes later. Oak said with fear. "Don't worry, Oak. Were both problem solvers. We can get out of this tiny problem. I know we can." I told him trying to calm him down. He then looked like a lightbulb shined above his head. "Bright, what kind of a problem is this?" Oak asked. "A tiny problem." I answered. Then hit me. "Wait, that's it!" I said as we both shrunk down to microscopic size. We then ran towards the door and saw a white girl and a blue girl talking to Melody. I didn't know a lot about both of them but I did know all of Melody's friends crush bugs on sight. "Oh great. How we going to get past them?" Oak asked. "We don't need to." I said pointing at a vent. We then ran towards the vent. We then followed the vent to go outside. As we were about to go outside, the vent turned on and blew us out onto the sidewalk. We'll deal with that later, okay?" Oak said. "Okay." We then grew back to normal and ran to the warehouse. Let me explain what the hell the warehouse is. The warehouse is our base of operations, our imagination station, and our safehouse. The safehouse part was needed because of the trouble we get in. One time I spray painted the words "Protect the Retros" on a government building. They didn't see who I was because of my mask and hood, but they remember the clothes, so I had to destroy them. "Remember the memories we made in here?" Oak asked. "Hell yeah. But why are we here?" I asked. "To test a theory. Blue and Olivia earned super speed from the explosion. I even found Twilight radiation from my dna. Now, we get to find out if we earned super powers or not." "Blue and Olivia have super speed? I wonder what we got..." "Only one way to find out." Oak then threw a rock at me. Normally, I would just let it hit me because of my poor reflexes. But this time, the rock slowed down and I just walked out the way. "Okay, so it is confirmed. We both have ESP." He said. "ESP? What the hell?" I asked. "Extrasensory Perception or as Marvel calls it, 'Spider Sense.' " Oak explained. "No, it was more of Accelerated Vision because time just slowed down." "Time slowed down? I guess I can make that exception. Now, onto the next test. Run around the warehouse." I then ran around the warehouse for what seemed like a minute. But when I came back to Oak he said it was ten seconds. "Ten seconds!?" I surprisingly asked. "Yeah, but it wasn't super speed. I can prove it." Oak said as he got out a rock. "Stop this rock with out moving from that spot." He then threw it in front of me and I pretend like I had Psychic powers and tried to stop the rock. What actually happened was that the rock stopped in a blue orb I somehow created. "What the fuck?" I asked. "Just as I thought. Now focus and tell me what you see around the warehouse." Oak said as I closed my eyes. I then could see everything such as flags around the warehouse. I then opened my eyes. "Flags." I said. "Great! Now for the more advanced test." Oak said as he pulled a string and destroyed a bridge. "Put it back together." I then put the bridge back together as if time reversed itself. "Holy shit!" I yelled. Oak then placed two huge boulders in front of me. "Impressive. Now for the final test. Focus your energy and destroy both the boulders." Oak ordered. I then focused my energy as if it were a bomb and I destroyed the boulders with one hit. I then entered a freak out mode until Oak calmed me down. "This concludes my test. We both have the same powers." He said. "We do? Oak, this is amazing." I said. You probably are confused to why I was happy. Well, imagine being the son of a superhero and finding out you have superpowers. How would you feel? Proud is the answer. But, the work wasn't done. I've got to fix my sister's bitchy attitude. "We know our powers work. Now all we need is a test run." Oak said. "Test run? Like "save the day" test run? Well, I've got the perfect test." I said. We then went to the rooftop my house which was now dubbed "Hoes Party Gone Wrong" brought to you by Melody "Bitch" Lulamoon. Before we went in, I called Blue to see if she was alright. I knew something was up because her phone went straight to voice mail. "Shit. Her phone won't pick up." I told Oak. "But she charged it before she left." Oak said. In the future, once you call someone you can see they're battery percentage. She was on one hundred percent. Yeah, something is cockblocking my reception. I knew I would need to destroy what ever was causing the interference in order to score a "home-run". Speaking of which, I didn't mind scoring a "home-run" with a few ladies at the party that night. I then smiled. "Oak, what time is it?" I asked. "9:11 PM." He answered. I then shook my head and we both shared a chuckled. "That's true, but not the answer I was looking for Oak. IT'S SHOWTIME!" I said. We then shrunk down to microscopic size and fell between the cracks of the house and landed inside my room. "Well, were back to square one...again." Oak said reluctantly. "Not exactly. Were on New Game+ thanks to our powers." I said to cheer him up. We then walked out of my room and into the hallway. When we got into the hallway, we saw Sunny and Olivia talking. We then ran up into Blue's ear. "BLUE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?" I asked. "Bright? Where are you?" Blue asked. "Blue? Is everything alright? Bright's not here." Olivia said. "No, he is. I hear him." "I'm in your ear with Oak." I said. "Olivia, he's in my ear with Oak." Blue said. "Oh yeah. He has the power to shrink to microscopic size. But why is he here? This is a girls only party." Olivia said. "Technically, I can't leave at all. Melody got me grounded for a month by framing me for the lab incident and my messy room. She even hacked into the clocks to make it look like I arrived late." I said. "She did what?" Blue asked. "She? Who is 'she'?" Olivia asked. "Melody. She caused the lab accident, made Bright's room messy, and hacked into the clocks causing him to get grounded for a month." "I didn't think she had it in her. This isn't like her to do something so evil. This is fucked up by even my standards. I wouldn't get you grounded on purpose Blue. She even kicked my ass when I hurt Bright, so why she's doing this doesn't make sense." Olivia then stuck her finger into Blue's ear. "Bright, climb on. Oak, stay here with Blue." Olivia ordered. I then climbed on to the top of her red fingernail. "I'm on." I said. "He's on." Blue said. Olivia then pulled her finger out and placed me on the bridge of her black bra. "Olivia, why am I right here of all places?" I asked. "What's wrong? Feeling uncomfortable? I thought you would have loved that area." Olivia said as she let out a little chuckle. "No. It's not that." I then saw Olivia look down at me and I blushed. "Aww, you're blushing. How sweet." She said. "This isn't funny, Olivia! Why the hell am I in here?" I asked. "I'm going to get to the bottom of why Melody is acting like this. I need you to hide on my bra because Melody is know for finding the most random things." This is actually true. She has a knack for finding the most hidden things and acts like Tiffany from The Ant Bully whenever she sees a bug. The funny thing is that Tiffany acts like a brat towards her little brother. "Okay. You've got a point. Let's just get this over with." I said as Olivia went to go find Melody. When she found her, she was talking with friends while smoking outside. Yeah, we both have so many secrets. "Hi, Melody. You smoke now?" Olivia asked. I was honestly surprised that she didn't know. "It's not real. Just a prop I kept from theater. What's wrong?" Melody asked. "Where's Bright? I just wanted to know." Olivia asked. "He's in his room. Don't bother him, though. He's grounded." "Grounded? What happened?" "I framed him for causing a lab accident, having a messy room, and coming home late." There's the proof. Straight from the bitch's mouth. "You did? That's amazing! But why did you do it?" Olivia asked. "If you really want to know, come upstairs to my room." Melody said as they walked to her room. When we got to her room she locked the door. "This must be really private." Olivia whispered to me. "Yes. It is." Melody said with a smile. This surprised us both. "Aw shit. Does she know about me?" I asked. "Yeah. I do." Melody answered. You would think I was fucked, right? Well, the opposite happened. "Olivia, take him out and put him in the palm of my hand." Melody ordered. Olivia then did what she was told and Melody looked down at me. I was honestly scared because she wasn't herself. She then looked back up at Olivia. "Melody, what's going on? Why did you frame your brother?" Olivia asked. "That's what I came to talk to you both about. My mother works for the government and she just so happens to be Mayor Cinch's close friend." Melody said. Yep, that's the truth. The evil principal from CPA turns into the Mayor of Lancerlot. If you can't tell already, this future is fucked from all directions. "Wait, MAYOR CINCH!?" Olivia said. "Keep your goddamn voice down. Yes, she is close friends with mom but I don't get along with her." Melody said. "I can see why. I hate our government." "Yeah, me too. The reason I framed Bright was because she told me to." This pissed me off bad. "What!?" I said as she looked down on me with a frown. "I'm sorry Bright, but I had to. She's a very powerful and dangerous woman. What would you have done?" She asked. "Well for starters, I would have said 'no'." Olivia answered. Melody then looked up. "But isn't rebellion wrong?" She asked. I then let out a sigh as Melody looked down. "Melody if rebelling against evil deeds are wrong, then to hell with being right!" I told her. She then smiled once more. "Yeah, your right. Fuck the Mayor!" Melody yelled. She was pretty caught up in the moment. Her phone alarm then rung and revealed it to be 10 PM. We then looked outside and saw everyone leaving. "Oh no. The party's over and mom will be back by morning." She said as she ran out her room. When we got out, we saw the house was spotless. Melody then let out a sigh of relief. "Well, that was close..." She said as she placed me on the ground. I then grew back to normal. Blue then came out of nowhere with Oak. "Olivia, mom want's us to go home right away." She said. "I better get home as well." Oak said. They all then left. Melody then destroyed the magical locks that were put on my room. "There, now you can go to bed." Melody said. "Thanks, Melody. Good night. I love you." I said as I went into my room. "I love you too." I then fell asleep.
Chapter 5: Time ShiftThe next day came and school was canceled for some unknown reason. I woke up at 8 AM because Oak texted me. Oak: Hey Bright Me: Hey Oak. What's up? Why are you texting me? Oak: Just needed to speak to you. Guess who came to my house yesterday He then showed me a picture of mom, Ms. Wood, and Ms. Sentury talking at a table. "What the hell?" I asked myself. Me: Why is mom and Ms. Sentury over there? Oak: Just a little get together. They were friends in high school That wasn't fully true. Y'know how your best friend has another friend and they're suppose to be your "friend"? Well, that's the relationship between mom and Ms. Wood. This was extremely suspicious. Me: What else did want to talk to me about? Oak: I need you to come over here Me: What!? Now? Oak: Yes Me: I'm grounded still. If she finds me, that's my ass Oak: I know but yesterday they told me they're watching a movie by themselves so we should be alright Welp, saved my ass. Me: Alright I'll be there Oak: Okay I didn't know why he need me to come to the lab, but this seemed important. I left out my window and ran as fast as I could to Monarch Solutions. When I got there, I saw the mothers inside playing cards. Before they could see me, I shrank to microscopic size and ran to the door. In case you didn't know I like to fuck with a lot of people, but this time I wanted to trick the mothers and not Oak. So, I got my phone out and texted him. Me: Your doorbell's about to ring. Don't answer it! Oak: ? Me: I'm going to "ding dong ditch" the guests Oak: I see what's going on. Go ahead. They deserve it. That last line kinda confused me. "They deserve it?" I asked myself. Something must've happened last night. I then rang the door bell and let the fun begin. "Hello?" Ms. Wood asked as she stepped outside. I then climbed her purple shoes. "Goddamn pranksters." She said as she walked back inside. When she got back inside, I ran up to Oak's room and reverted my size. His room was purple colored and had a wooden floor. Yeah, he got the hand-me-down room but it never bothered him, but that's not the worst part. When I got there, he wasn't there at all. My size then suddenly went back to microscopic. I then saw that Oak shot me with a modified disc gun. "You like that? I call it the 'Twilight Disc Gun' or TDG for short. I made one for you and me." He said as he gave me a green one. "That's amazing. You should also make a 'Twilight Zone Gun' or TZG." I said. "I'm thinking about that one, but we're getting off topic. I think we fucked up." It surprised me that he blamed us for a mistake and we never make mistakes. "Oak, what the hell do you mean by "we"?" I asked. "We used that machine and caused an accident. But now that I think about it, I built the machine. This is my fault!" He said blaming himself. "Bullshit! It's not your fault! Melody sabotaged the machine, but she was told to do that by Mayor Cinch. If anyone is to blame it's the government. But how did the government fuck up?" "Let me put this in terms for you to understand. Time is an egg and the time machine explosion cracked the egg. As time progresses, the crack gets bigger until time is fucked, which means..." "...the end of time." "Yeah and that's not the worst part. In order to fix it, we need a nuclear counter measure." "Nuclear? Where are we gonna get a hold of that?" "Not sure. But we don't have long." "How much is 'not long' ?" "Two months from now before time fucks us dry." After a while, Ms. Wood came in...with a goddamn broom and dustpan. "What is she doing in here?" Oak asked as she began to sweep. "Bright, follow me. We're going to my lab." Not very smart if you ask me. I mean my name is Bright after all. "The lab? Do you seriously want to get caught again?" I asked. "This time things will be different." He said. Not too sure about that. "How?" I asked. "You'll see." He said as we ran to the lab. When we got there, he showed me blueprints for a wingsuit. It was fitted with nanofiber material, two high-powered grappling hooks, and a mask that looked very simular to Spiderman 2099. Well, he is my favorite superhero. "Are we going to build that?" I asked. "No. You are. It should be easy. Just follow the instructions and you'll do just fine." He said with a smile. Believe it or not, it was easy because it was 3D printed. When it printed, I put it on and tested it out. I did this by jumping down and gliding around. I also used my grappling hooks to zip and swing around the lab and back to Oak. "Oak, this suit is amazing." I said. "Glad you like it. You can keep it but before you go, you need a secret identity." He said. This got me to thinking, where the hell was his suit? "Oak, where is your suit?" I asked. "I don't need one. I want you to be the superhero. I've already got the job as Head Nigga in Charge." He said with a little laugh. "Okay. Let's see, what about Time Shift?" "Yeah, I like that." From that moment on, Time Shift was born thanks to The Director. I then ran back home back into my room and reverted size. When I got there, it was 6 PM and no one decided to wake me up. I knew this because my door didn't open at all. Pretty weird, right? Not as weird as if someone found my suit. To avoid that, I hid it behind my dresser and would take it out when needed. As I finished hiding my suit, Melody opened the door and I saw Mom and Ms. Sentury behind her. Aw shit. "Hi, Melody and mom. What's wrong?" I asked. "Just checking on you." Mom said. "I'm about to go to a beach party and mom along with Ms. Sentury are going to look after you." Melody explained. Fuck. Melody then left the house and the new babysitters left my room as I sat on my bed. I then got a call from Oak. What the hell was he calling me for? "Hi, Oak. What's up?" I asked. "Bright, where's Melody?" He asked. "Going to a beach party. Why?" "We need to stop that party. It's an organized party." Organized parties are government-controlled parties that organize violence. Organized violence usually in most cases lead to death. Do you see why I fucking hate our government now? "Organized party? Fuck!" I said as I hung up. This was fucking insane. Not only do I have to save my sister from death, but I have to avoid being seen from the women of the house. At first glance that second part was easy because I have a window, but it was sealed shut by magic. "Dammit, Melody. Looks like I'll have to go the long way this time." I said to myself as I got my suit and put it on. I then shrunk to microscopic size and ran out. My trip was stopped short by the air conditioner and I landed on the TV remote power button. Mom then grabbed the TV remote and turned on the TV. This caused me to get stuck on her thumb. After a few seconds, I got unstuck and landed on the floor next to her boot. "He's awfully quiet up there. Should we check on him?" Ms. Sentury asked. "No, he's fine. We don't need to worry." Mom said. "I suppose you're right, but from what you told me earlier, this is his first time getting grounded. Are you sure he's fine?" Yeah, no bullshit. Mom doesn't believe in learning by pain or punishment. So this was a huge surprise. "He'll manage. I remember getting grounded for a whole week when I promised to go to an amusement park with Thunder." Mom said. "Really? What did you do?" Ms. Sentury asked. "Well, I snuck out." "You don't think Bright will follow your footsteps, do you?" "Not a chance. Besides, how's he gonna sneak out? It's not like he could just walk right out the front door." Mom then put her boot up and accidently kicked me out the window. That is irony at best. I then ran away from my house to the beach party and reverted my size near a building. I was actually glad I wasn't the only one up there. "Hey, Oak. You ready" I asked. "Yeah." He said. "Then let's get moving." We then shrunk down and entered the beach party. You would think maneuvering around the beach would be hard. Well, it was actually easy. The sand didn't pose much of a problem because of the shit ton of sandals that landed on us and allowed us to hitch a ride. Also, I don't know why I'm saying this right now when it happened in the second chapter, but metabolism raises when you shrink down to microscopic size. Me and Oak don't eat much and we suddenly got hungry after a few minutes of being shrunken. Hitching a ride is important because the amount of dead skin provided for us to eat is endless. I know it sounds fucking disgusting, but if we don't eat it at that size, we'll die. After a while of using traffic to our advantage, me and Oak used one of Melody's friend's flip flop to get to Melody. When we found Melody, she was in her own private tent with her friends. Too bad Melody doesn't sell things on the black market. Otherwise, I could say she was acting pretty "shady". "Oh, good. You're here. Close the tent quickly. This is important." Melody said as her friend came in and closed the tent. She then sat down criss crossed as me and Oak got hungry. Like I said before hunger is our fucking kryptonite. We then ate some dead skin. Here's the catch to eating. Eat too quickly and you'll get the attention of the host. We found that out the hard way because as we were eating, she thought something was irritating her foot. She then rubbed her foot causing us to fly off. Luckily, I glided to the skirt of another girl. As for Oak...he wasn't so lucky. "Bright!" Oak yelled. He was on the frame of Melody's sunglasses. I then saw Melody reach for her sunglasses. He was frozen in some deep shit. Something needs to be said about my friend. He is afraid of heights and Melody's unaware actions were not helping at all. That's why I quickly glided onto Melody's black glasses frame to help a friend in need. By the time I got there, he was scared shitless. "Oak, calm down. Okay?" I told him. "How can I be calm at a time like this?" He asked. "Listen, I know you're scared. But you need to be brave. Girls love a brave boy." He still continued to whimper. This was going to take a while... "Oak, who at our high school do you love the most?" I asked. "Melody." He answered. I'll be honest, I would love to be the brother-in-law to Oak. Hell, we treat ourselves like bros already. "Why is that?" I asked. "She's beautiful and caring. I remember this one time we were both getting bullied and she came to our rescue. She became more than a popular girl to me that day." He said. This is actually true. But what pisses me off is the fact that she didn't even stop the bully. She just gave a simple "leave them alone" look. All because of her beauty. "Okay. Think about her for a moment. Try to be brave for her." I told him. "Okay. I-I'll do my best." Oak said as he calmed down. Melody then tried to make a call and my phone rang. Why me? What could she possibly want? "Hey, Melody. How's the party?" I asked. "I'd like you to tell me yourself. Better yet, you and Oak should tell me what think so far." She said. Keep in mind, microscopic size is not visable by the naked eye. How the hell was she able to see us? That is a good fucking question. "Melody, can you see us?" I asked. "Thanks to my magic, I can see and hear you." She answered. "Then what the hell are you calling me for?" "Unlike you two, I care about my public image." This offended me. Oak as well. "Unlike you two? UNLIKE YOU TWO!? After all the trouble we had to go through just to save her, she says that shit to us!?" Oak said with anger. "Save me? What is the hell is that all about?" Melody asked. "Melody, this is a goddamn organized party! We came here to save you!" I yelled with anger. "This party isn't organized, dibshits. The mayor made sure of that." "What!? Oak, you said this was organized!" "I know what I said! It must've been a last minute change." He explained. "Yeah, he's right. It was." Melody said. "Oh, okay. Well in that case, sorry for bothering you during the party." I said. "Don't be sorry for acting with good intentions. Also, Oak, do you actually love me?" She heard the whole conversation. I could tell this was embarassing for Oak because he blushed red. "Yes, it's true." He said. Well, at least he admitted it. "Okay. Well, can you both do me a favor?" Melody asked. "Sure. What is it?" I asked. "Go home. Especially you, Bright. Pretty sure you don't want to endure mom's wrath." She didn't get nicknamed "The Great and Powerful Trixie" for nothing. Me and Oak then ran home. When I got home, I saw both adults were asleep. Going back to my bedroom was a breeze. I was about to go to bed, until I heard a yelp for help outside. "What the hell?" I asked myself. I then looked outside and saw Blue being harrassed by a group of boys. "Oh hell no!" I said as I swooped down and kicked their asses with super speed. I then checked on Blue to see if she was alright. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you." She said. "Your welcome." Another group of boys then approached us. "You beat those guys up? How embarassing." One boy said. "Get her!" Another boy yelled. Blue then covered her face and screamed. That's when I grappled them together and threw them into a trash can. I was taking out the trash after all. "Why aren't you fighting?" I asked. "Because fighting is wrong. There are better ways to resolve conflict." She said. "You do have a point, but unfortunately the world doesn't work like that. If you don't fight back, they'll just keep walking over you. You need to stand up for yourself." She then smiled. "You remind me of a certain friend of mine. He would want the same thing." She said as another boy approached us. He was wearing a white coat, golden necklace, and golden brass knuckles. Who the hell is this guy? Bling-Bling boy from Johnny Test? "What's up, bitch?" He said. This caused Blue to get angry. She then used super speed to knock out the Bling-Bling boy cosplayer. If you couldn't tell, I was getting a real good kick out of this. "Your right. I am a bitch. But I'm not your bitch. I'm the Head Bitch in Charge of your lame ass." She said. She then spat on his face and put him in the same trash bin I put the group of boys in. While they weren't looking, I shrunk down to microscopic size and left a note. When Blue went to find me, she got confused. "Where'd he go? Did he run off? That's too bad. I never caught his name." She said. She then looked down and picked up the note I left. "Time Shift. I like that name. Has a ring to it. Other than that, he might just bring justice to Lancerlot City. He was also kinda attractive." She said. She then walked off. "Attractive? Is she crushing on me?" I said to myself as I ran back to my room and into my bed. I had so many mixed emotions at that moment. Blue was in love with me. The other me. The hero me. I loved Blue as well and now I can show her. But she must never know my true identity. That is a must.
