Chapter 2: Lancerlot High School
This story actually begins at 2041, but before we get there, I need to explain a few things. Let's start with 2030, when the ballot count happened. I didn't pay attention to the candidates, but I will always remember two faces that I hate to this day. President Celestia and Vice President Luna can suck it for all I care. In case your wondering, these two have pony counterparts who are great rulers by sitting on their ass most of the time just signing papers and moving the sun and moon up and down with their magic. Do you know how many times that world has been in danger? I can't count but it has been a lot and she just counts on her "faithful student". Who is the "faithful student", you ask? Simple. The purple alicorn egghead who is mentally unstable. She is so unstable that her and Etika could be friends.
Anyways, the point is, President Celestia and Vice President Luna are as worse as President Trump and Bush. President Celestia turned cruel and unlawful. She was even responsible for the stock market crash and coined the acronym B.T.N.R.A. which stands for Black Tuesday No Retros Allowed. Now, retro back then ment classic. In the future, Retro is equilvalent to the n-word. Retros are those who have low income and are forced to use "retro" equipment. President Celestia isn't fond of retros at all. To make change happen, she used "Opperation: Modernization". She tried to modernize Lancerlot by causing organized violence that put Retros at a disadvantage. The Vice President did even worse.
The year is 2035 and there was this 100-story building called the Retro Retirement Center or RRC for short. This was a highly populated Retro facility, and the government hates Retros. So, what does the VP do? She turns the people on the Air Force that she hates into Lancerlot's own Al-Quada. What's even worse is that it was on 9/11! People would question this act, but the cover up story was "controlled terrorism". Now that that is out of my system, let's move to the 2041.
First day of high school starts today. Normally, I'd be pretty fucking nervous, but I have faith on my side. But no matter how much faith I have, something goes wrong and today was no exception.
"Bright, hurry up! We're going to be late for school!" My sister yelled across the hall. Everyone, meet Melody. She is one the most popular kids at school and people rarely get on her bad side.
"Hang on, Melody! I have to get my stuff!" I yelled back as I got my stuff and ran to the door. Melody then drove us both to school.
"Have a great day at school." She said as she drove off. I bet your wondering, how was LHS? Just your cliche high school, except for the fact that the most hated President and Vice President used to rule it. Do you realize the expectations that are carried on us? Just makes me want to see both the president and the VP drive in a car so I can shoot them in the head with a sniper rifle.
On my way to lunch I met a familiar face.
"Hey, Bright. Long time, no see." He said. This is my childhood friend, Oak Wood. He is the child Timber Wood and Twilight Sparkle. He is also the director of Monarch Solutions, a company that would soon change the world for the better and the worse. Speaking of worse, something was off about him today. He looked more tired than usual.
"Hey Oak. You look like hammered shit. What happened?" I asked being the concerned and loyal friend that I was.
"Just been messing around with a machine that may change the world."
"This isn't that machine involving saving a certain someone, right?"
"Yes, it is! How did you know?"
"C'mon Oak. Y'know I know my friend like my own video games." We then took a seat at a table as we got our lunch. Futuristic lunches are now dehydrated to give us food faster. Unforntunatly, school lunches are still school lunches. "Jesus, why am I forced to eat this." I murmured to myself as a girl with blue and yellow hair came over to my table.
"Hello Bright and Oak. How are you today?" She asked. The blue head speaking to us is Blue Sentury. She is the youngest daughter of Flash Sentury and Sunset Shimmer. If you need me to be more clear, the bland character stuck his Flashdrive into Canterlot High School's former bully turned hero to make a wonderful girl who was also my age.
"As good as always, Blue." I said as she sat down with us. We then talked and ate until Melody and a friend came over.
"Sup, losers." Melody's friend said. This friend of Melody is named Olivia Sentury. Three words to describe Olivia are Rebelious, Lustful, and Asshole. Big emphasis on the last word by the way. Remember when I said Blue was the youngest Sentury? Well this is her big, bad sister. Another thing me and Blue have in common is that both our sisters act like assholes to us at school, but at home they're nicer. What's crazy is that both have even said that they're trying to tough us up. "What are you doing at our table?" Olivia asked.
"Well...um..." Oak stuttered in fear until I shut him up.
"What Oak was trying to say was that this isn't right." Blue said.
"Yeah, you can't just take our table. Lunch is first come, first serve." I added.
"Are you sure you want to do that Bright?" Melody asked.
"Hell yeah. I have my own right to do whatever the fuck I want and you don't control the shit I do."
"Does that include on the computer?" Olivia asked as they both shared a giggle.
"Olivia, that is fucked up. Now, may both of you do us a favor and fuck off!" I said in an angry tone.
"If that's how you really feel, then you're walking home tonight." Melody said.
"Fine! I didn't want to ride home with a hoe anyway!" I yelled. The whole lunchroom then went quiet. Yeah, we were pretty loud. So loud that it echoed throughout the entire cafe.
"C'mon Olivia, let's go find ourselves another table." Melody said as she marched off and gave me a glare. I then sat down with an angry frown. The whole lunchroom then continued to go about their day. Blue then scooted closer to me.
"Don't feel bad, Bright. Calling your sister a hoe was uncalled for, but someone had to stand up for all of us." She said trying to comfort me.
"Thanks, Blue." I said with a smile. Blue and I have a spark between us. I consider her my Priestess Arcana of my life because she cares about me alot and is the complete opposite of her sister.
The school day finally ended and now I'm walking home. Yep, Melody doesn't fuck around when she hears or sees something that she doesn't like. I guess you could say Hoes Mad! In all honesty, I didn't mean to call her that. But she provoked me and I couldn't control my feelings.
While I'm walking home, let me tell you a story about a boy and his family. The boy lived with his sister and mother. He never knew his father because he ran away on a business trip and never came back when the boy was four. He was never close to his sister or mother because the former had friends and the latter was always busy. The aunts had names that the boy knew but they prefered different names. They were Dagi, Blaze, and Dawn. Dawn was like a playmate to the boy and would always make him happy. Blaze was the opposite of Dawn and would try to make him into a man at an early age. But unlike the boy's sister, she knew he had limits and would try to push them a little to make him confortable. Dagi was like a grandma to him and she would always help him with any problem such as kick the ass of a bully. Everything was going well until all three aunts were killed in a car crash accident. The boy cried and cried until he couldn't anymore. He wanted to make sure accidents like that one didn't happen anymore but unfortunatly, he was not a good fighter. But he had a fighting spirit and always got back up no matter what. This is a true story about me, but anyways something happened on the way back.
I saw her, the asshole. She was laughing while her friends were holding Oak Wood. I then dropped a pail of water on them and told Oak to follow me. What you didn't know about me and Oak was that we know parkour and are fast runners. While we were being chased, we ran onto rooftops and were about to enter a shop until they caught up to us and held us stationary. "What should we do with them, Olivia?" A girl asked.
"Let the nigger go. I want to speak to the Lulamoon only." Olivia ordered. Oak Wood then ran back home as he was ordered not to speak about what happened.
"Hold the fuck up. Who gave you the N-word pass?" I asked. She then slapped me and smiled.
"I have to admit, I'm impressed. You're pretty damn fast. But, you're not fast enough." She said as she punched me onto the ground. I then felt weak in the chest and couldn't get up. Olivia then knelt down and grabbed me by my neck and made me look at her.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked her. My sister then appeared out of nowhere.
"Olivia, what the fuck are doing to my little brother?" She asked. Olivia then let go and got up.
"I'm just teaching him a lesson in respect. He did call you a hoe, remember?"
"Yeah, but no one touches my brother like that."
"Melody, your brother made a big mistake today. He stood up to us and called you a Hoe. Are you really going to take that? If you are, then you'll have get through me." Melody then opened her palm towards Olivia and brought her closer to her. She then clenched her fist as it lit on fire and punched her up into the air. When she was calm again, she turned towards the group.
"Let this be a demonstration to those that even think about crossing me. Am I understood?" Melody said. Everyone then nodded and ran off as she turned her attention to me. "Hey little bro. You good?" She asked.
"No, I can't even get up. Do I need medical attention?" I asked.
"No, you're just hurt badly. If you can't move, then I'll have to carry you then. Hold still." Melody then opened her palmed towards me and blue sparkles surrounded me. I then shrunk down to the size of a fly. Melody then gently picked me and put me in her pocket. We then got in her car and drove home.
When we got home, Melody told mom what happened and went upstairs. She then sat down on her bed, took me out of her pocket, and laid me down on her lap. "Are you holding up alright?" She asked.
"Still injured, but recovering. Why did you save me after what happened?" I asked.
"I love you Bright. I can't let you get hurt anymore. Mom and I would be devastated if you died."
"Okay, but what happened backed there with the magic?"
"I was using spells out of mom's magic book."
"Okay. Thanks for saving me. I'm sorry for calling you a..." Melody then put her finger on my lips.
"Shh. It's not your fault. I should of never provoked you. I'm the one who should be saying sorry." She said.
"If you say so. Can you please turn me back?" I asked.
"Not tonight. I want to make sure you're safe tonight so you're sleeping with me. Stay behind my pillow for a moment." I was then placed behind her pillow. After a while Melody then lifted me up, revealing herself in pajamas. She then laid down and placed me on her pillow in front of her face. "Goodnight, Bright." She said as she fell asleep with a smile. I then fell asleep in peace next to my sister.
