It was daytime, and Twilight Sparkle was in the Castle of the Two Sisters, and everything was clear. She entered the throne room of the castle, she couldn’t help, but notice that there was a hole in the wall, it only reminded her of when Luna had first become Nightmare Moon in Equestria. Altough she was not born at that time, she could see Luna turning Nightmare Moon with the potion she took to find out why it was day and night when the vines had taken Ponyville. She felt a breeze on her mane. Twilight Sparkle looked at the hole where the sun was, and saw the moon rising. She started to get worried and afraid. This couldn’t be happening! Right?
She began to run away from the room, with the goal of getting out of the castle. When Twilight Sparkle left the room, the moon went up to the sun and a solar eclipse occurred.
Twilight Sparkle was in a hallway, the windows were broken, able to see the moonlight. Suddenly she heard hoofsteps, slowly walking up to her. “Twilight ~”
Twilight Sparkle felt a shiver in her back. This voice, she knew very well. She hoped she would never hear it again. But it seems she was wrong. Twilight Sparkle began to run, hoping to go to the exit of the castle.
Nightmare Moon laughed. “You foal, you can’t escape the eternal night!”
Twilight Sparkle ignored and kept running. It seemed that the corridor of the castle was infinite, never ending. Twilight Sparkle used her wings to go faster, but by chance, her wings didn’t obey and cramped. “Ouch!” exclaimed Twilight Sparkle as she felt her wings gave way and she fell to the ground. She rose quickly to teleport away, but she couldn’t.
Nightmare Moon laughed as she walked slowly down the hall after Twilight Sparkle. “Give up, Twilight. Accept your defeat, and accept me as your princess!” She chuckled.
Twilight Sparkle, tense, ran again, quickly in the hallway. She ran now, faster than she could. She was no longer in the hallway that seemed to have no end, she was a few miles to the door. But, her happiness was replaced with fear, because Daybreaker teleported in front of the door. “Don’t even think about running away, Twilight.”
Twilight Sparkle stopped running as she looked at Daybreaker with fear present on her face. Suddenly, Nightmare Moon teleported, and now Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker looked at Twilight Sparkle, who was shrunk with fear. Twilight Sparkle didn’t know why Luna and Celestia became evil. Did they fight? Or was it because she didn’t do a good job of trying to be a good leader for Equestria? Whatever the reason, Twilight Sparkle knew she had no way. King Sombra had destroyed the tree of harmony and the elements. But, she knew that with her friends she would succeed because it was with the help of her friends that she managed to defeat King Sombra once and for all.
“So, sister?” asked Nightmare Moon. “What should we do with her?”
Daybreaker looked at Nightmare Moon. “Well, the elements of harmony have already been destroyed, so there’s no way she can use them to make us go back to our weak forms.”
Nightmare Moon nodded. “So, what do you think we should do with her? Put her in the dungeon? Make her one of us by bringing her own hidden dark side out?”
Daybreaker smiled, she seemed to agree with the last suggestion.
Twilight Sparkle was shaking on the floor. “Help!”
As if it were magic, a voice said. “THAT’S ENOUGH!”
Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker disappeared as if it were wind. Twilight Sparkle opened her eyes, and saw that she was no longer in the castle of the Two Sisters. She was in a place of blue color, with a light in it. She saw a moon and saw Luna appear with a benevolent smile. “A warm welcome to you, Twilight Sparkle”
Twilight Sparkle went to Luna with a smile to hug her. “Princess Luna, how nice that you came, it seemed so real the nightmare.”
Luna was a little surprised. She didn’t expect Twilight Sparkle to give a hug. She decided to return the hug. “I understand, Twilight, in the other nightmares, several ponies feel as if the nightmares are real”
Luna caressed the Twilight Sparkle mane. “If you don’t feel so uncomfortable, would you like to tell me what the nightmare was like?”
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “Do you promise this will not make you uncomfortable?” asked Twilight Sparkle, she knew that talking about Nightmare Moon might bother Luna.
“Why would I bother?” asked Luna with a smile.
Twilight Sparkle stared at the floor. “It’s because I dreamed that Daybreaker and Nightmare Moon were chasing me in the Castle of the Two Sisters.”
Luna was a little surprised. It wasn’t because Twilight Sparkle mentioned Nightmare Moon, but because Twilight Sparkle dreaming about it. “Would you like to tell me how it went?”
“Yes, prin ... I mean, yes, Luna,” replied Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight Sparkle told how the nightmare began, and what happened. Luna could do anything but have sadness in her face. “Do you know why you had this nightmare?” wanted to know Luna.
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna before thinking. What was the reason she had this nightmare? Until she remembered!
Twilight Sparkle looked at Luna. “I think I know why I had this nightmare. When me and my friends went to Crystal Castle to stop the King Sombra, he caught us and showed us our biggest fears, and my biggest fear was not being able to save Equestria and you and Celestia were disappointed with me because I couldn’t save Equestria, and as a result, you would become Nightmare Moon and Celestia Daybreaker.”
Luna never imagined that Twilight Sparkle had these fears. But now, she was left with doubts, how did Twilight Sparkle know about Daybreaker? “How do you know about Daybreaker?”
“Starlight Glimmer told me about the dream she had,” replied Twilight Sparkle.
Luna remembered what Twilight Sparkle was saying. That was when she and Celestia were fighting. It was a sisters fight. But as she and Celestia were Equestria princesses, it could have consequences for Equestria, if they fought too much, she could turn into Nightmare Moon and Celestia could turn into Daybreaker.
“Is there anything else you’d like to tell me?” asked Luna.
“Yes, Luna,” replied Twilight Sparkle. “It is about the tree of harmony and the elements of harmony, when me and my friends think that we had defeated King Sombra, he returned and destroyed the tree of harmony and the elements of harmony.”
Luna was a bit shocked. She certainly didn’t expect that to happen.
“And now, Luna?” asked Twilight Sparkle. “How do me and my friends save Equestria without the elements of harmony?”
Luna embraced Twilight Sparkle with a wing. “Twilight, do you know what you told me when you discovered that the elements were still alive and not destroyed?”
“Are the spirits of the elements of harmony are right here?” replied Twilight Sparkle doubtfully. Suddenly, she realized what Luna meant.
Luna smiled. “That’s right, Twilight. Even if you don’t have more elements of harmony, know that you and your friends have your Rainbow Power forms, and that you and your friends are the spirits of the elements and it is you and your friends who represent them”
Twilight Sparkle was surprised, that made perfect sense. Why didn’t she notice it herself? “How did I never realize that before?”
“I don’t know, Twilight,” replied Luna. “But you now know.”
Luna then felt Twilight Sparkle was waking up, she started flying out of Twilight Sparkle’s dream, “Have a good day for you, Twilight.”
Twilight Sparkle woke up and lifted the head of her pillow, she wondered what she was supposed to do today.
Spike was asleep, Twilight Sparkle looked at Spike as she thought, it was a turbulent night for me, but thanks to Luna, I managed to feel better
