My Little Pony Zby RedstarishereChaptersCallingEncounterPonyville (Part 1)Ponyville (Part 2)CallingChapter 1 – Calling A lot of people claim that they had experiences going to Equestria, and having a great time there, whether they had to stop a great evil or just found love there with some pony. I admit that I sort of envy those who had that time there. I’ve wanted to travel to Equestria only to experience the peace and tranquility that harmonize throughout the land. Meeting the Mane Six would be a blessing as well, but the only reason I want to go there, is to escape this world of war, corruption, hate, and conflict. Sure Equestria does have its issues too; however, it’s not as bad as where we are now. However, out of all the experiences there I could have had there, I had to be cursed with one from the dark realm of nightmares. It all started a few weeks ago, when I was still a “brony.” Now I put that in quotes because I wasn’t a true brony. The only thing I did was watch the show, and a few times I looked up kinky picture because those times I wasn’t thinking with my head (if you know what I mean). I also read the creepypastas like “Rainbow Factory” and “Cupcakes” because I can never turn down a good creepypasta. I guess I was in one of my “phases” where I get to like a show, and expand my liking of it through research and other combining it with other interests I have. I’m way too off-track. Anyway, I just got off the bus from school, and I wanted to get inside my house to escape the cold weather. It was heavily snowing all day and the clouds were covering the sky with a grey shadow. The sun did now shine all day, like foreboding something. As I got inside from the chilling weather, I immediately locked the door behind me. Now before I move on, I feel like I need to explain something. At the time (and even to this day) I had a serious psychosis issue. I always felt like I was being watched and I just felt some weird presence everywhere I went. The only thing I could do about it was just watch me slowly go insane from this issue. However, today, I do know how to control it, but at the time, I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t tell anyone about my condition, thinking that they would call me crazy or just ignore me. After I put my backpack on the ground, I walked down into the basement, which was my room as well. My parents weren’t home yet, so I had the whole house to myself for three hours. What better way to enjoy those three hours, by checking my YouTube account for any new messages. I was actually growing slowly popular by each day. I didn’t do any videos of cute or silly things. I was the one of those people who read creepypasta and uploaded it to YouTube. I guess I was just influenced a lot by another YouTuber who also read creepypasta. I was actually surprised when I saw my inbox; I had received a new private message. Oh great, another Sub4Sub message or some raging religionist who wants me to join their way of worship. Screw all those people who do those kinds of things. It’s not good and no one will join or listen to them; it’s just annoying as hell. However, what I read was nothing like that. In fact, it was very disturbing in some way. _____________________ Dear Alex, You probably won’t believe me when I say this, but I am a princess who dearly needs your assistance with something. I came to notice you a while ago, when I heard from our “spies” that you watch “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic” and read a lot of scary stories that I’ve been told have been called, creepypasta. I have chosen you to help me, because you have been exposed to horror of greater magnitude than what I am currently facing. Such bravery is needed in the task I require you to aid me in. Your watching and research of the show as well, have made you irresistible candidate. I don’t have much time to explain anymore, for I am running out of time myself. -PC _____________________ What the hell was this? I didn’t understand it at all. Plus, how did this person know my name, as well as the fact that I watch “My Little Pony?” I honestly didn’t know what to do, and I felt like someone was watching me or something. I tried to shrug it off as being part of my psychosis; however I was too scared to try. I had to know who this person was, so I hit the “reply” button at the bottom; big mistake. As I clicked that button, my eyes started to numb up, and my vision blurred until everything was completely white as snow. I then felt the sensation of me being lifted up from my chair, as well as a breeze blowing across my face and my long hair. I was shocked and scared at what was going on. I tried to rub my eyes, thinking it would help clear my vision; however I couldn’t move my hands to do so. I couldn’t even move my body from the position I was in currently. A few seconds later, I finally felt my vision come back slowly, and I felt my body lain on a floor. It took me a few seconds to get up, however when I did, I finally saw my surroundings. I was in some kind of room with a single glass window looking out onto the lands beyond. I had the sudden urge to go over and look out and try to piece where I was, however another part of my brain wanted me to stay, fearing whatever may be out there. However the room itself was had odd décor; it looked like I was inside the Cinderella Castle at Disney World. But there was still one question in my head; how the hell did I get here? I took a step forward to examine the room further, however I almost tripped over something…no, not something, SOMEONE! I looked down, and I was shocked. There, on the ground, lay my friend, Matt. What was he doing here? How did he get here like me? Questions just raced through, however before I could react, Matt’s eye’s opened, and I could see the surprise in his face as we met eye to eye. He got up on his feet quickly. “Alex, what are you doing here?” he asked. Before I could respond saying I didn’t know, I saw his eyes wander around the room. “W-where are we?” I asked. “I don’t know! I was sending a text to Pinky (Matt’s nickname for our friend, Taylor) when all of the sudden I got some weird email on my computer saying this ‘PC’ person needs my help!” And that was the first time, I had ever known that Matt had an email; however, that wasn’t the point. I was about to say that I got the same message in my YouTube inbox, however before I could utter the first word, two “things” came into the room. Matt and I both stared, for we knew what they were. Standing in front of us, were two large ponies dressed in golden armor; they were royal guards of Princess Celestia from what I could remember. I just stood there in complete silence with a stupid look on my face, for I was facing two, real, walking, living ponies of the Royal Guard of Celestia herself. I never thought I would see and actual pony, from the show, with my own two eyes, however, there they were! I didn’t know how to describe the feeling I had. I mixed with shock and excitement at the same time. And at that moment, I finally knew where I was. Matt and I were in Equestria! “Come with us” one guard demanded. My brain seemed to not do what I wanted to do, which was question the guard about where we were. Instead, I followed the guard’s orders, and so did Matt as I saw him next to me. For the next minute or so, we walked down the large halls of, what I thought was Canterlot Castle. I had an urge to ask the guards questions, however I couldn’t build up enough courage to do so, for every time I opened my mouth, my mind went blank. Soon, the guards directed us to enter a room, in which the entrance was all decorated with gems and other shiny metals. I was about to enter, when all of the sudden, the guard put his hoof in from of me for a second. “Talk only when spoken to. She’s very ill.” I somehow knew he was talking about Princess Celestia. He put his hoof back down and allowed me to enter. However just as I was about to, I turned around to see guards directing two more men to us. One of them was a Notch-look-alike; I mean, he had the beard, he had the size, he was like a twin, but yet he was skinnier. The second looked similar to my other friend, Jake, however I knew it wasn’t him. As I walked inside this great room, I turned around and put my hand over my mouth in horror. On a bed, was the great Princess Celestia herself, however, things were different. She was very sick, and there were two spots in which blood was bleeding through bandages that were placed on the injured areas. She was breathing heavily, and I saw that she struggled trying to lift her head up. The other three guys joined me around her bedside as she lifted her head to take a look at all of us. She then put her head back down on her pillow, sometimes coughing. For the next minute or so, there was silence. I looked over at the other guys, but they just looked like they were in a trance. I saw the terror they had in their eyes, and I couldn’t bear to look at Matt, who was on the verge of tears. Matt was always sensitive, but I never knew his actual limit. I opened my mouth to say something; however my veins coursed with blood, afraid of what might happen if I did so. After all, the guard did tell me to speak only when spoken to. But I didn’t care; I just wanted to know what the hell was going on. I suddenly broke the silence. “Why are we here?” was my only question I could come up with at that moment. The other three guys turned their attention slowly towards me. I swear I could almost feel Matt’s breath on my neck. Celestia then closed her eyes and gave a smile. “I was waiting for someone to talk” she said. I didn’t know whether to bow, or to give a proper American greeting by saying my name. But before I could think, Celestia replied. “I have chosen you four for a task that even I cannot accomplish.” Celestia then twitched and groaned with pain, in which one of the guys almost lunged to assist her, but he suddenly resisted the tempt. The allicorn goddess then lifted her head off the bed, groaning in pain with each movement of her neck she made. “You see, a while ago, Discord escaped his prison once again, and now smarter than before, he hid the Elements of Harmony better than before, and thus, when my six little ponies tried to stop his reign of chaos again, they failed. Oh, they failed horribly.” I noticed she said the last sentence in a saddened tone. “What happened to them?” asked the man who looked like Notch. “He used a stronger form of chaos this time, and turned five ponies. However, it was more difficult for him to turn my student, Twilight Sparkle. In which, he used a spell that he never knew he had. It was a terrible curse.” When Celestia finished the last sentence, her coughing became violent, and she coughed up blood. One of the guys rushed over to help her; however she insisted that he didn’t need to help her, in which he stepped back. “He created a terrible green mist that did a very bad thing to Twilight. I don’t know what exactly happened, but all I can say is that, she went crazy, attacking her other friends. Discord couldn’t believe what he made, for he realized that he could use this green mist to make…zombie ponies.” Everyone’s face had the look of terror upon them. I could also notice that the other guy who looked like my friend Jake was breathing faster than before. “I-I was infected by the mist, that spread from Ponyville, to Canterlot, to all over Equestria.” “But what do you want us to do?” the Notch look alike said. “T-t-the mist only affects ponies from what we know. Animals have not been afflicted as of yet, so since there’s no one here brave enough to save Equestria, we decided to summon four humans who had the courage to do so.” “But what are we supposed to fight them with?” I asked. “We have used as much power as we could have to summon weapons that you humans use, to Equestria. They are now being held in our armory.” “However, along the way, we’ve also summoned weird machines that came with the guns. We tried summoning them back; however we didn’t have enough power to do so” a guard stated. Strange machines huh? I was literally hoping that these machines were like super mechs equipped with rockets that we could use to blow hordes of these zombie ponies away, but again, I didn’t let my imagination get the best of me. Besides, I had no idea what weapons they brought here. I at least hoped that they weren’t like 12th century weapons. Celestia looked weaker than ever as she coughed up more blood. A guard then came in and said that there was another outside who would direct us towards the armory to get our weapons. We were about to leave when Celestia stopped us. “B-before you go, I will give the last remaining power I have. It could come to use.” Her horn then sparkled and it sent waves of a white essence that went through our bodies into our hearts. I could feel the cool air in my body build up, as well as my heart being “calmer” than it was before. The guard then told us get out, and so we did. I was the last one to exit, and as I turned around one last time, I saw Celestia give her last, sour breath, until she lay on her bed motionless. To be honest, I shed a single tear for her. I knew that we were summoned here to be faced with a nightmare. I knew that this wasn’t the last we’d see of the great Princess Celestia. She was counting on the four of us to save Equestria from this disaster. So that moment I saw her die, I vowed to myself that I would not let her down, and that I would free the world from this destructive plague, and that her death was not in vain. I vowed that Discord would die. EncounterChapter 2 – Encounter When we got inside the Canterlot Armory, Celestia did not disappoint us at all. There were guns, guns, and more guns! I couldn’t even believe how much they brought to this world; it was an insane amount. My only problem was that, I didn’t know how to handle most of these guns. I only had once fired a M9 Beretta pistol, which, in my opinion, was the best pistol ever. Sure it wasn’t automatic, but its control and accuracy was amazing. So while I was in that hoard of guns, I really hoped there was a pistol around. Unfortunately, there was only a few. The weapons we chose were probably an odd setup. I for one, was actually really happy with my MP5 as my main weapon, and a Walter P99 as my sidearm. The MP5 was actually a lot heavier than I expected, in fact, the pistol seemed heavier as well. Matt’s weapon choices was probably the oddest; an AK-47, which he claimed he could handle it yet he had a very confused look on his face while fiddling with it, and he didn’t even take a sidearm with him. I honestly thought he wasn’t going to make it long. “So who are you?” asked the Notch look alike while I was trying to examine his equipment. I wanted to come up with some fake name like Axel or Jeff the Killer, but I actually wanted to be taken seriously at that moment. “Call me Alex. And you are?” I felt like that was a bad sentence, but I was reassured as he gave me a small smirk and said his name. “I’m Daniel; nice to meet you.” “I’m Matt, Alex’s friend.” “Name’s Roger.” “Well at least we’re all acquainted with. I hope we don’t get on each other’s nerves” I said. “Oh you know me!” Matt stated. Matt was the type of hothead you would expect. He was very smart and actually better looking than me, but Matt was easily annoyed. Usually if I shot him a stupid question or remark, he would fly at me with his nerd rage and start lecturing me on random things. It was both annoying but somewhat entertaining to see Matt fly into that kind of rage. I would never get tired of his rage mode. Daniel’s weapons of choice was some sort of semi-automatic rifle, which I couldn’t identify, but it looked like some sort of hunting rifle, and a Glock 17. Roger’s load out was an M4A1 with an optic sight, and a snub-nosed revolver. This led me to suspect that he was a police officer, or was one. We took about fifteen minutes to arm ourselves and while the clock was ticking, I knew the more we waited, the more “zomponies” there would be. We all knew it would be a tough fight that would last for days or maybe weeks, so we tried to think of a strategy first. We all agreed to find a safe house we could rest in while we’re not fighting the zomponies first. After it’s set up, we would go and find survivors in the case there are some. No one was allowed to slack; we all had to help out equally, like four persons in one. To my surprise, we actually weren’t starting out in Canterlot. I honestly had an entire plan thought out, but I decided to use it for another time. Instead, we were actually being placed in Ponyville for the time being. As we soared through the world in a hot-air balloon, I soon realized how bad this zompony apocalypse was. Hordes gathered in the city trying to raid houses for surviving ponies, the mist was everywhere, the environment was dying, and zomponies journeyed through the remaining waste of the Equestrian plains. I couldn’t help but to notice every last detail, and so did my three friends. Our guide there was actually Shining Armor himself. I was always a somewhat fan of him ever since his debut in the season two finale. I wanted to ask so many questions, but as I saw his somewhat forlorn face on him, I realized it wasn’t the time or place for it. “Are you okay?” I asked him, still seeing his worried face. “Y-yeah; I’m okay. It’s just that, nothing like this has ever happened and I guess…” He stopped briefly. “I guess this is the only time in my life where I’m actually afraid…” I then realized why he got more and more nervous as we got closer to Ponyville; he was worrying about his sister, Twilight Sparkle. As much as I wanted to sympathize with him, I couldn’t because I was, and still am, and only child. I’ve always dearly wanted a sister or brother I could relate to though. When my parents were away, I was left home alone for nearly an entire day. I was so lonely trying to keep myself entertained, watching TV, and occasionally reading. I just wanted someone who loved me to come up and actually accompany me. I almost shed tears as I came to that conclusion, but all I could do was tell him I was going to try to bring Twilight to safety. He smiled at me lightly, nodded his head, and said thanks. But I wasn’t promising for a reason… If you’re a religious type of person, then you would know that every religion has their own type of Hell. Whether it is the Christian version of Hell or even the Hindu version of Hell, all I could tell you is that the Ponyville I was standing in was worse than any of those. As we descended lower and lower to land so we could get out, my friends and I realized how clogged the air was with the green mist. It smelled of putrid rot the first few layers, but soon, the smell changed to like curdled milk. The dirt and grass that ponies once walked on were now corrupted by the mist and changed to a darker version of their original color. Some building were boarded up and locked heavily, but all of them were falling apart due to age. I then wondered how long this has been going on. Once we all were out, Shining Armor waved over the edge, wishing us the best of luck. We all waved back thanking him for the ride. Ponyville was actually not as congested as I thought it would be. Only a few zomponies roamed the empty and dead streets of the once proud town. As soon as Matt spotted a zompony, he raised his gun towards it ready to fire, but Roger stopped him. “Don’t want to alert more at the moment” Roger said. “We should really break into one of these buildings to set up a safe house” Daniel reminded all of us. “But where should we go?” “Well, what about Twilight’s library?” I suggested. “I don’t know. We still have yet to examine these zombie ponies enough.” “You mean like their physical and mental statuses?” “Exactly; if we don’t know how strong these things are, they might even be able to chip away at the tree’s bark and wood enough to get in.” “Then we’re totally fucked!” “Don’t we also need a good storage space to keep our supplies?” “Right; so since Twilight’s library is about 60% books, we should think of something more ‘free.’” “Fluttershy’s hut? Doesn’t she also have farm animals there?” “True, but who knows what would happen if we eat the infected meat, saying it could absorb the mist like brining?” “Isn’t it small as hell as well?” We all gave our suggestions, but soon realized the flaws it had. We all just came down the decision just to raid an average house for now, and then later we could scout out what other places there could be. Now I’m pretty sure we broke into Berry Punch’s house due it’s large quantity of liquor and booze in the fridge, but I haven’t studied the fandom long enough to know if drinking thing is just made up. However, it did smell very odd, like frozen, store bought berries, but mostly of raspberry. Now that we had our little safe house, it was time to set up our supplies. The only problem was that the only “supplies” we had were our guns and ammunition. We had totally forgotten to ask the Canterlot guards where we can get some food and drink! We didn’t know what to do at that point once we all realized this. Everyone gathered at the front door with their weapons ready. This was only our first day and hour here, and already things have gone to hell. We weren’t going to let that get in our way however; we just needed to add “get supplies” to our Equestrian Apocalyptic Shopping List. “Before we go guys, I just wanted to tell you all…try to not let anyone die out there” I requested. “Well if I’m too busy covering your ass then I’m not watching my own” Matt said sarcastically. “If any of us die, then it was a nice time meeting you all!” Daniel said. Roger opened the door… Ponyville (Part 1)Chapter 3 – Ponyville (Part 1) When we said we were going to kill zomponies, we had no idea what these things looked like up close. I’ve read plenty of laughable fanfictions about zombies in Equestria, as well as played few games like “Story of the Blanks” as well, so I had in mind what they might look like; almost skeleton with dripping and rotting flesh. It didn’t take us long to find what we were looking for. In a minute or so, we found our very first zompony pack. I was close to what they looked like. The skin did look rotten, but it also had signs of peeling and being turned inside out. Their manes were shedding by the step and their eyes were just as blank as their non-existent souls. “Holy sweet Jesus…” Matt almost looked like he was about to puke. I didn’t blame him since I’ve never seen anything more foul in my life. Just the sight of the melted meat made my stomach churn. I looked over at the other two and they were just as awed as we were. I swear I have never seen Roger paler in my life. Daniel just stood without even blinking. I don’t know how much time passed by, but if that zompony had never seen us, we would be frozen there forever. I expected these monsters to shuffle slowly at us, like in the movies, but I had little time to think after it started running towards me. Just as I realized what was going on, it was almost too late. I say almost, because when I looked back at the thing, it was lying right beside my feet. I looked back up and I saw Daniel holding his rifle but this time in more awe than before. “I-I…I killed it…” It was our first kill, and did we feel excited; the answer is a simple yet firm no. I had finally seen the true monsters that Discord had released on to the world of peace, love, and tolerance. I looked down at the zompony and upon further examination of it, I saw one last piece of flesh that was not as bloody or black. I jumped a little at the sight of a cutie mark, but not just any cutie mark, it was a hourglass. Out of every background character in the show, I knew this one; Time Turner (or Doctor Hooves)… I couldn’t think for long though; out in the corner of my eye, I saw one of those demons. I quickly raised my gun as fast as I could, but I was just too late. The fucking demon swung his hoof at the back of Daniel’s leg, making Daniel cringe in pain and almost fall to the ground. I shot the beast multiple times until it finally died. Roger and Matt quickly raised their weapons as I pointed out a group of zomponies coming toward us. Matt had trouble with his gun’s recoil, considering he had little experience with such technology. I swear he never got a hit. Killing those bastards wasn’t easy; their rotting and molting flesh seemed to absorb some of the bullet’s impact. How that works, I will never know, but I guess it has something to do with the anatomy of a pony in Equestria. We did try aiming for the head, but just hitting them anywhere seems to work. The very second all the zomponies were dead, Roger slipped out his sidearm and walked at Daniel, pointing the gun at his head. “I’m sorry man, but you’re infected…” “No, wait!” As my mouth blurted that out, Roger snapped his sight towards me, taking the gun away from Daniel. “What, then? Are you suggesting we do with him; he was attacked by the zombies and he should turn into one at any moment!” “But he wasn’t actually bitten; only bluntly punched.” “Alex, we can’t take risks. Let’s just get the fuck out of here and leave him to become one of them!” Matt started to join in on the conversation. By now, almost everyone was against me; Matt and Roger both were objecting my request to help Daniel, claiming that any contact with a zombie will turn you into one of them. I never told them this, but I felt like beating them both for blurting out stupidity like that. I knew Daniel wasn’t infected, but he needed help to get back up. “Let me just take a look at his wound; it may not even be a bite!” My rage was starting to consume by this point, just like back in our world. Roger hesitated for those five seconds, but in the end, he gave in. “Fine; but Matt and I are staying the hell away while you risk your life!” “Alright, but just make sure you have your backs covered.” I ran over to Daniel to check his wounds. It was minor; only a small red spot where he was hit as well as a minor bruise. After a while, I got him back up on his feet. He thanked me for helping him and we joined in on a gunfight Roger and Matt were having with a group of zomponies. We finished up the last one before Roger asked me if Dan was infected. “No; only slight bruises.” I noticed Roger was a lot more relaxed after I told him. “Well I guess I was wrong to judge like that.” As I was about forgive him, the four of us heard the most bloodcurdling scream you’ll ever hear. It sounded like a terrible mix between dying pigs and a scream of a woman in pain. It was so disgusting that I had to cover my ears because of it. Even to this day I have nightmares about it even. After the screaming had stopped and I uncovered my ears, the four of us then had realized that the streets that were filled with zomponies were now empty. “What the fuck happened?” Daniel asked. “They’re gone…but why?” As the four of us stumbled in confusion, I finally saw something running at us from far away. “What the hell is that?” I pointed. The other three turned around to look where I was pointing, when they drew their weapons and open fired. I took my gun out and just before I was about to shoot it, I got a good look at the beast; it was Lyra Heartstrings, but she was zomponified. “Holy shit!” The thing almost pounced on Matt, but I was about to push her off before she did so. She then gazed at me with those blank eyes of hers. I tried to defend myself, but I ended up running instead after she hit me in the legs with a swipe of her hoof. I didn’t want to run too far away because I wanted the others to shoot her down, so I decided to kite her around in a small circle. I wasn’t the best runner at the time, and most likely the worst in my school at the moment of writing this, but I took Track about a year ago because I wanted a sport to do besides football and basketball, which I both suck at. I trained by my coach to do more speed than endurance (since I was in the 100 meters at the time), so I did get an ample distance away from her, but after about thirty seconds, I started to get worn out, and my sprint turned into a jog. I looked behind me and already, the zombie Lyra was a few feet away from me. So basically, I was stuck there alone while my partners had to reload their guns. I have no idea why it took them so fucking long, so I had to take things into my own hands. I stopped my jog, turned around, waited for Lyra to get close, and as she was about to pounce me, I took my pistol, stuck it in her demonic mouth, and fired an entire clip into her. I was forced to watch as I saw myself literally shoot Lyra’s brain matter out. I didn’t take me long to realize I had just killed my other favorite background character (Time Turner is the first). I pulled the crimson-splashed P99 out of her mouth and watch her as she fell. I had no idea what to think of first at the time. Think of it as killing someone that you know; you feel like a monster inside. I looked at my pistol and convinced myself that it was for the best. “Shit man…” I had then finally realized the others were crowded around the corpse of Lyra, just staring at it. We were there for seconds until we heard a roar coming from what sounded like groups of bears. As I looked back up, I realized we were in the market district, and around us were rushing hordes of the undead. “Fuck; run!” I yelled. The others realized I had already started off sprinting away when they decided to follow me. I turned to take a left, hoping to reach the residential district, when I found out that zomponies were coming that way too. I looked right, and the same thing was there; hordes of zomponies. I ran back, and the others turned around to follow me, but I didn’t run for long. Soon, there was one big swarm of zomponies surrounding us in the market, with nowhere to run or hide; only fight. “Well, it’s been a nice run, guys” I said. “This was not the Equestria that I thought I was going to be in, but I had fun I guess” Daniel spoke. “I guess it was a fun run” Roger said. “Alex, I’ll see you in Hell” Matt smiled. I laughed at Matt’s sarcasm, but I knew I was going to a better place. Sure I did a few wrong things in my life on Earth, but I didn’t let that get to me. By doing this for Equestria, I knew I had somewhat made it a better place a little, and I hoped that the other heroes would fight off this apocalypse and reclaim the world to be what it was before. And that’s when I turned around… “What in the unholy mother of fuck is that?!” I blurted out. “The others turned around and we all saw a rectangular shaped box with two question marks on it. I stared at it for about three seconds and smiled. “I wonder how many points I have” I joked. The others didn’t get where I was going, so I told them to cover me so I could open it. As I got closer to the box, I studied it further. The question marks continued to glow from a white to a bright gold color. I knew what I had to do, so at the time when the question marks were gold, I quickly opened the box and stepped back. By now, my comrades were already having difficulties with the horde, so I prayed the thing would go fast. From the box sprang up a weapon, but then it changed to another, and then another. It continued like this for about two seconds when it finally stopped. I gasped at what I saw in front of me: an ICS-191 GLM Gernade Launcher. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, but the only problem was, I didn’t know how to handle such a weapon. I looked back quickly, and my friends were completely surrounded. I wasn’t thinking; I took the launcher and dropped my MP5 in exchange for it. I then turned to aim at the horde and fired. The grenades wisped through the air like two kites dancing in the wind current. And as it made contact with the beasts from hell, the ammo exploded with great force, killing multiple. I fired a few more rounds, killing the last of the horde chasing my friends. By now, I had finally realized what was going on; when Celestia said she had teleported “strange machines” to Equestria as well, I never imagined it would be a Weapon Mystery Box! I also started to hope that the Perk Machines were here as well. I couldn’t celebrate for long however, I turned to my right and saw another horde coming in my direction. I fired two more rounds before I realized my gun was empty. I started to run, but the launcher was really heavy, so it slowed me down a bit. My friends were in awe as I passed them with my new gun, but they also helped cover me while I was reloading. I searched my pockets for ammo, and I finally found some. It was a heavy round, but I knew I had to put it in my gun fast before those zomponies got close. I inserted the ammo into the launcher and searched my pockets for another. It took me about a minute to fill my gun, and when I looked back up, my friends desperately needed my help. “Alex, I know you have an awesome weapon of destruction, but please hurry up and blow their fucking guts out!” I raised my launcher and fired everything at the zomponies. Only a few remained after that, but they were picked off by the others. The three then looked at my gun in awe. After we realized the zomponies had stopped coming for now. “Dude; that’s the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen!” “Where did you get it?” I pointed over at the box that was just sitting alone. The other three rushed over there hoping to get first shot and opening it. In the meantime, I reloaded my launcher. Roger got to the box first, but he didn’t seem to get the point of it. Because of that, he got dual USP .45’s, which he denied and waited for the box to close. He wanted another shot at it, but Daniel pushed him out of the way and opened the box. I didn’t think Daniel got the idea as well, but he actually got a good gun; a M16 with an optic sight. Roger tried to take the gun, but it wouldn’t let him, and Daniel was the only one to pick it up. Matt went next after a small fight between Roger, and he actually got an AA-12 shotgun! Finally, Roger got a second change, and again he got a bad weapon; an MP5k with a grip. He then rage quit after that. “Are we all happy?” I asked. “Fuck you” Roger said with a slight smile. Ponyville (Part 2)Chapter 4 – Ponyville (Part 2) I don’t mean to offend him, but after what I just witnessed at the box, I would go somewhat far to say that Roger is kind of a “fighter.” I do respect him, even to this day, but I knew that someone with that kind of quality would be hard to convince and to control; I started to worry about Roger’s survivability and relationship with the group. However, I was probably more worried about Matt than him; he never had much experience with anything like this before. Even when we were both kids, he still would have a hard time with his social and mental life. Most of the time I visited him, he would be on his computer on “G-Mod” or whatever it’s called. However, I do have to admit, I think I spent just as much time on my computer, however it’s my dad who’s kept me in this shape I am now. Before I go onto the topic of my relationship with my father, I should really explain the rest about what happened in Ponyville. Well, after we finished gathering ourselves together for the next horde, the zomponies came in swarms like locusts. I did use my grenade launcher, but I also hesitated with each shot I made, because I knew that it would be wasteful just to use one round on only one or two rotting pony eaters. The P99 barely worked on these stronger zomponies, who took almost an entire clip to kill. I guess my first experience with a zompony, literally face to face, was when I was trying to reload my grenade launcher as I saw a large train of zomponies rushing towards me and my comrades. However, I had yet to notice the undead pegasus coming down on me like a hawk trying to snatch a mouse in a field. When I did eventually notice, the thing basically had me pinned to the ground, readying her jaw to take a chunk out of me. I knew my friends were probably off somewhere else trying to hold their own, so it was only me and this damned pony that had me locked on. I guess out of pure instinct, I grabbed a small stone and hammered the pony with it before she could feast on me, knocking her heavy, zombified corpse off of me. As she tried to recover herself, I grabbed, what seemed to be, a large stick, and rammed the object into her throat as she tried to snap at me again, however she still wouldn’t give into death. I picked up the pony, which was about half my size upon further examination, threw her to the ground, and bashed her head with my blunt foot until death finally took the tortured soul away. As I looked back up, my friends came running towards me, with Matt having a worried face on him. “Jesus, guys, thanks for the help! Where were you?” I asked. “We were in the residential district, dealing with our own shit that still coming this way!” As I looked behind them, I saw one of the biggest ponies I had ever seen. His body was literally covered in nothing but muscle, and he was so large, I thought he put Celestia’s height to shame. In my own mind, I saw him as a walking tank for the living dead, which also meant he could take a lot of abuse. Without thinking, my only plan was to run into the market district, killing anything in front of me, and when I had a moment or two, I shot a few rounds into the body-building zompony. By the time we came back around, my P99 was out of rounds, yet my grenade launcher still had a few left. As I started to reload my gun, I noticed that my friends were desperately trying to scavenge through their pockets to find another clip, which meant we were almost out of ammo; great… I turned back around, and the fucking giant was literally five yards away from me. I fired my entire my entire stock of whatever was in my launcher and jumped out of the way before the thing could touch me. I then looked back, and finally the behemoth lay dead on the ruined and dead streets of the market district. I took a long breathing break before walking slowly over to the box and opening it, hoping for a new, better gun. As I opened the magical toy chest, the tune that played so hauntingly started up and the guns started to change. Soon, the rotation stopped, and I traded my P99 for a M16 assault rifle. I never knew how to use one, yet the only thing I knew about handling it was that it had little to no recoil from what I’ve heard on the internet. Not satisfied with my almost empty grenade launcher, I opened the box one more, making sure that I opened it when the marks on it were golden. The guns rotated through as I held my breath hoping for a lighter weapon. As it came to the last gun that I thought I was going to get, all of the sudden, before my very eyes, the gun rotated one last time. I fell back as my eyes began to see what the gun had changed to; a small, laughing, and blood soaked doll of what appeared to be Discord. The laugh rang through me like a vile noise of twisted pleasure. “YOU FUCKING DUMBASS!” Roger yelled. “It’s okay; he couldn’t do anything about it!” Daniel argued while trying to calm down Roger. Then, as I got back up on my feet, I could hear the roaring of a horde of zomponies. I guess as I received the doll of Discord, it was like ringing the dinner bell for them. I turned around to see if the box was there, yet it somehow magically disappeared. I then came to the conclusion that it teleported off somewhere else. As the horde came around the corner into the market district, they were like locusts, just swarming in, no stop to their numbers as we shot them down. At one point, a fast, charging on caught Matt by surprise and he desperately tried to fight off the zompony only using his hands. I went over, picked up Matt’s shotgun, and blew the damn beast’s head off. That moment was like if it was slowed down; I actually saw for a good five seconds the exploded brain matter and shattered pieces of a rotting skull. The sudden amounts of blood then traveled a considerably long distance and covered a good five yards of dirt and decaying grass in the undead’s crimson fluid. I got Matt back up on his feet as fast as I could and gave him his gun back. When it finally seemed like they weren’t going to end, the waves of zomponies stopped for the time being. I rested for a spell to catch my breath as I had a few close calls with some undead. As I rested upon a wall behind a house, I could hear very faint sounds of sparking electricity. I called the others over to inspect it, and as soon as Roger finished listening to it, he went over and kicked down a nearby door that led inside the building. The room was nice and was almost reminiscent of a smaller Sugercube Corner. There was fireplace that was already brightly lit and roaring with heat. Yet, the thing that stood out was the large candy machine near the wall where I heard the sparking come from. “So this is the contraption making the sounds.” “Well, how is this thing in Equestria? Is this another one of those machines Celestia talked about?” I inspected the inside of the machine, but the only things inside seemed to be muffins, not soda as I was expecting. “Guys,” Matt said, “I’ve played a lot of Call of Duty: Zombies to know that we have to turn on the power to get this thing running!” “Or, we could just plug it in…” I said as I pointed to the empty, sparking outlet near it. “…Or that.” So, we plugged the thing in and we bought one muffin for each of us. As I devoured the somewhat stale pastry, I suddenly felt stronger and healthier than I was before. I really don’t have any other words to describe the weird feeling I had. The muffin itself was an oddly light brown color and tasted of corn and light butter. I never heard the noise until I finally finished my treat. I wiped around to see what was going on; it was of Daniel screaming in pain and agony. On top of him was a medium sized zompony who already jumped on and slashed at Daniel’s face and torso. Matt dropped his gun, ran over, and pushed the beast over to the only light source, the fireplace. By now, we were able to see the zompony better due to the light and we could see who it was. I think most of us gasped as we saw that it was Fluttershy, now a minion of the walking dead. Her coat’s color was barely recognizable, yet her pink mane was left untouched by the affliction. “No man, I’m not doing it!” Roger said in refusal. Looking at the others, I knew that no one else wanted to do it, and as much as it pained me to put her down, I had to do it. As I walked over towards her, she tried to swipe at me, though she missed as I was a good few inches away from her. As I examined, she couldn’t move any closer, because as Matt pushed her off, she twisted and broke her back leg in manner that only a dead-pony can do it. She opened her mouth to scream one of her foul undead cries, though I put the M16 in her mouth before she could. The others tried to talk me out of it and even threatened me, maybe because they didn’t want to see their favorite pony die. They only watched and stared at me as I did what I had to do for the fate of Equestria…
CallingChapter 1 – Calling A lot of people claim that they had experiences going to Equestria, and having a great time there, whether they had to stop a great evil or just found love there with some pony.
Roger opened the door…
Ponyville (Part 1)Chapter 3 – Ponyville (Part 1) When we said we were going to kill zomponies, we had no idea what these things looked like up close.
