It had been a month since the bust at "Boops for Stuff".Which resulted in Tempeh being shot and killed by Lonny when he was cornered and opened fire on him.Lonny was interviewed by "The Officer Involved Shooting Team"based out of "Robbery Homicide Division at Headquarters.After he gave his statement of events.And gave them his gun as evidence.The detectives also recovered the sawed off shotgun Tempeh used to kill Rose Petal.For the rest of the month.Lonny was assinged to desk duty.After spending a few days at home,which he didn't mind.He got to help with the chores and spend time with Applejack.And Lonny had to appear before the revue board.Standard procedure for everypony in the department.

Lonny was eventually cleared.The revue board ruled the shooting was "In Policy"and The D.A.s Office ruled the shooting was "Justifiable Homicide"as Tempeh was killed,While Fleeing Arrest and In The Commission of A Felony.Everypony was now at Lime Juice's "Fizzy Pop Soda Stand"Lonny was there with Applejack.Rarity was also there and so was Twlight.Big Mac was there with Agent Stream.All were sitting at a table under an umbrella.

Applejack asked,"So hun.The whole thing was all about money??"

Lonny replied,"It sure was.It seems that Tempeh and Wheat Grass hatched this scheme more than 5 years ago."

Big Mac then said,"Eyup.Ya'all see.Tempeh and Wheat Grass have known each other since he got out of The Neighvada State Prison,where he did time for Ponyslaughter."

Lonny said,"At the time Wheat Grass was also a prostitute during the late 90s.In fact.She and Rose Petal worked the same stroll on "The Las Pegasus Strip",just south of the main drag.In fact she and Rose Petal were busted at the same time.The judge in their case was a local judge.Not a Princess.The judge took pity on them and gave them probation.And sent them to a rehabilitation center.To learn job skills and become productive members of society.Rose Petal learned about business,and took some night courses.Wheat Grass learned how to be a waitress.And got a job in a diner.That's were she met Tempeh.His Parole Officer got him a job as a short order cook,when he got released."

Big Mac then said,"And they got together and hatch a money making venture,makin make up.And fur and skin care products.After she met Flax Seed,who had all these ideas,but he also had a drug problem.So Wheat Grass manipulated him,into marrying her.After she told Flax Seed she was pregnant,and having a miscarriage.All lies.It was just a marriage of convinence."

Rarity asked,"So how did I fit in all this Lonny darling??"

Lonny replied,"Well,Wheat Grass had the idea that the land was gonna be lost,so she concocted the idea,that if they got help from you,since you are famous in your own right as "The Element of Generosity"It would help them sell more and make more money,but it didn't work as well as they hoped,and started cutting corners.I'm sorry Rarity.They used you."

Rarity replied,"Well.I feel awful about being used,but that still won't deter me from helping others in need.I just have to be more careful in the future.So what will happen to Wheat Grass and Tofu,as well as the others??"

Agent Stream said,"Everypony is pointing fingers at each other,to save their own hide.Some wern't involved with the product tampering.Some had no idea,but The Royal Attorney will sort it out.And The D.A.will handle the murders.So Princess Twilight,who will try the murder case??"

Twlight replied,:Oh Cadence will handle it.Since I'm friends with Rarity.I had to recuse myself."

Applejack asked,"How about the land??"

Agent Stream answered,"Well As soon as the court cases are adjuicated.The land will be sold at auction."

Applejack then said,"As Filthy Rich don't get ta build another "Barnyard Bargins".We already have 4 in Ponyville.We don't need anymore.One question though.How did Blu Buttercup fit inta all this??"

Lonny replied,"Well when Blu got that burn on her armpit,it never healed right.And she told Rose Petal,who Blu didn't know was in cahoots with Wheat Grass,And was then getting hush money,until she read in the paper about that teenage filly dying,then she was going to go to the authorites,but she sent some cold cream to her family,as insurance,in case she was killed.She was going to Manehattan for a photoshoot,and to see an investigative reporter from "The Manhattan Post" and was gonna expose everything."She told Rose Petal,who warned Tempeh and Wheat Grass.She sealed her fate."

Applejack kissed her husbands cheek and said,"Well Ah knew you and Big Mac would solve the case.So what happened to the Diamond Dog who helped ya,and that mare Chatterbox??"

Lonny said,"Well I sent Rover Dover to a buddy of mine from High School.He owns a construction company,and he is always in need of diggers,and Diamond Dogs love to dig,so I thought he could use a job,and get his life in order.?

Big Mac added,"And as fer Chatterbox,Well she avoided prison,thanks ta Blu Buttercups parents.They felt she been punished enough,and since she did agree ta testify.And they got the necklace back,They didn't press the issue any further."

Lime Juice came up with a tray with glasses with fizzy blue colored liquid and asked,"So what did Blu do with all her money??"

Lonny answered,"That's the only thing we don't know,and I don't think we ever will.So Lime.How are you holding up??"

Lime Juice answered,"I'm OK.I guess.I was gonna tell Blu how I really felt about her,until well you know.Anyway In her memory and I got the blessing of her family.I created a new soda flavor.I call it "Blu Buttercup's Blue Rasberry.Here everypony try it.It came out very good."

The group all fried the new soda flavor,and they all like it.Lonny raised his glass and said,"Blu Buttercup.Wherever you are.Whether you know it or not.You did good."

Then the group all clinked their glasses and said,"To Blu."
