Chris had a lot of fun meeting with all the ponies, seeing new faces was a breath of fresh air to him. Not that he didn't like Spike And Twilight, just nice to be outside for once. The town seemed like a pretty quaint place, not too big or small, homes and businesses alike.

He liked it here.

The rest of the ponies left him and Twilight alone as they head back behind the curtain.

"That went better then I expected." Twilight said taking a seat on a bench.

"I was gonna say the same thing, they were all so nice."

Chris smiled to himself, he was never really the star of a show like this before, even if it was for a odd reason. But it was a nice feeling to have all those ponies come just to say hi to him.

"Oh and by the way,"

Chris motions over to Twilight.

"I kind of invited a mare back to the castle. Her name is Ivory, I found her book on the road when we went back to my house. I just wanted to return it to her so I told her she could come by later. Is that alright?"

Twilight thinks for a moment before nodding.

"Yes that's fine, I'll let Spike and the guards know about her. Why didn't you tell me about the book? I could have gone and given it back to her."

Chris gives a small shrug.

"I kind of forgot about it to be honest, with all the books you have given me it's kinda hard to keep track of all the them. It's probably in the stack on my desk."

Twilight giggles softly before standing up.

"I just want to have all the information you need about being here, it doesn't hurt being prepared."

Chris follows and get's up as well.

"It does when it takes up all my free time reading. At least it gives me something to do while you have me locked up in my room."

Twilight's horn glows as she covers Chris's mouth and a nervous chuckle, a small blush on her face.

"C-Chris... please don't say things like that in public, ponies will get the wrong idea if they hear something like that."

He nods as the magic around his mouth goes away.

"I was only joking."

"I know but ponies around here like their gossip, so just watch what you say sometimes."

"Alright Twi, I'll be careful. Wanna head back now? I could go for some of Spike's sandwiches right now."

"That sounds like a good idea."

With that they both make their way back to the castle, Chris waving at and meeting a few ponies that he hadn't greeted yet on the walk. After a couple minutes they are back inside the castle as Spike makes them lunch and they all return to their normal routines.

Twilight back to her study to, study.

Chris back to his room to read.

And Spike to... do whatever Spike does.

Chris grabbed a random book from the pile on his desk and started to dig into it. It was about 3 hours later where he was about half way done with it as there was a knock on his door.

"Come in." He called out.

The door slowly opened to show a guard.

"There is a mare here to see you, Twilight said it was alright for her to enter."

Chris sits up from the bed and puts a bookmark in the book and sets it down.

"Yes yes, let her in."

The guard nods and opens the rest of the door as the mare from earlier enters the room.

"Hi again." She smiles over at Chris.

"Hello hello, welcome to my humble abode."

Chris gives an over the top bow to her, getting a small giggle out of her.

"I'll be outside if you need me Sir."

Chris gives the guard a nod as he closes the door.

Ivory's eyes wander around the room as she looks at all the stuff around. Mostly at his computer and other tech like that, Twilight did the same thing.

"Make yourself comfortable, I'll find your book real quick."

Chris slides off the side of the bed and heads over to his desk. Shuffling through the books on the desk he finds the one with her name written on the cover.

"Found it."

Chris goes back over to the bed where Ivory had taken a seat on the edge of. He reaches out to give her the book as she takes it and puts it down next to her.

"Thanks, I'm really glad you found it."

Her eyes seem to stare at his hands, something Twilight also did.

"Those must be really useful"

"Yeah, they are. One of the things that makes humans so different from other species."

He wiggles one of the digits on end.

"They are called hands, and the opposable thumbs make it so we can grab things easier."

"That pretty awesome. Pegasi can use there wings to pick stuff up like that, not as well as that though."

She ruffles her wings at her sides cutely.

"Yeah, I don't know how normal ponies do as much as they do without wings or magic."

"they make due, being super strong makes up for it."

Chris nods

"Yeah I guess so. You wanna play a video game?"

"Video... game?"

She questions as Chris grabs his switch from the nightstand.

"This is a game console from my planet, people play them for fun and pass time. you wanna try?"

She nods, pretty eager to learn about human technology.

Chris slides the joycons off the side of the screen and powers it on. Loving the look on Ivory's face as the screen powers on.

"That is so fucking cool."

Chris was a little surprised at that language coming from a pony.

"You guys swear? That's funny."

"Most ponies don't, I'm a rebel so to speak."

"Oh I can tell by your punk girl hair."

"Hey! What's wrong with my hair?"

"Oh nothing, It's pretty adorable to be honest."

"Yeah? Well you look.... Wait, did you just call me adorable?"

She seems to stare at him stunned.

"Yeah, because you are. All you ponies are to me, at least from where I'm from."

Chris finished setting up the game as he loaded up Mario kart, something that's easy enough to pick up and learn. What's easier then steer and go forward?

"Okay, so this button goes forward, this is back if you get stuck, this to throw items and this stick steers left and right. There is a lot more then that, but we can learn those once you have the basics down."

She nods as he sets down a joycon in front of her. She unfolds her wings as she grips them around the controller, looking at Chris's hands and mimicking the grip.

Chis smiles as he looks at her.

"Like I said, adorable."

"Oh shut up..."

She had a small flush to her face. It was so funny how easy it was to make ponies flustered, judging by how red Twilight's face got during some of the experiments.

They loaded into a race and as expected, Ivory got stuck on a wall a few times, went off the tracks, didn't know what items did what, but she had fun regardless it seemed. Chris coached her through most of it, watching her side of the screen most of the time to see what she was doing and helping her along. They played for a while until the screen shut off mid game.

"What the heck!"

Ivory shouted.

"Welp, out of battery, gotta have Twilight charge it with some sort of crystal again tomorrow."

"But I was doing good that time!"

Ivory cried out.

"Yeah you were, you were getting better fast, a lot better then I thought you would."

Chris slid the controller onto one side of the screen and looked over at Ivory. She got the message as she held out her wing with the controller in it. Chris reached over and grabbed it from her wing, feeling the soft touch of her feathers was a small shock to him.

"huh, your feathers are pretty soft, I always thought that they would be a little rougher since they are so big."

"B-big? no they aren't that big... compared to other Pegasi... they are very sensitive though, they have to be, so we can have full control while we fly."

She seems to shy away from that as he took his hand away from her wing and slid the other side of the controller on.

"That makes sense, is it hard to fly? I'm sure it's just second nature to you at this point but what does it feel like? Humans can only fly by the means of technology."

That made her think for a second.

"It's a pretty surreal feeling sometimes, being up that high. Most ponies remember their first time flying. Very intense thing to just do, knowing if you mess up you could get really hurt."

"Yeah, I'll bet."

Chris looked over at the clock and it was almost six, the sun slowly starting to go down out the window.

"It's getting pretty late, maybe you should start heading home before it get's dark."

She nods and slides off the bed, grabbing her book and tucking it under her wing.

"Yeah you're right, hard to fly at night. Thanks for the game, and the the book."

"No problem at all." Chris stands up and opens the door for her.

"I'll see you later, Ivy."

"Ivy...?"

He shrugs a little.

"I don't know, I like to give my friends nicknames, just sounded right."

She smiles up at him.

"I like it, I'll see you later."

With that she heads out of his room and out of the castle.

"She better not beat me in MarioKart."
