Joining a new Clan is an arduous task, and the unorthodox methods of Colonel Dash don't make it any simpler. Upon being sent to the wilds of Strana, each of the new warriors must fight their way through bitter cold, scorching heat, and savage beasts in a grueling trial. Old wounds open, and they must overcome the past if they are to survive the coming fight.

While the MechWarriors prepare for a new war, Discord's returned powers leave his mind clouded. He sets out after a fleeing pair of princesses to seek revenge and leaves a horrific creature in charge of the Inner Sphere, created for one purpose, and one purpose only: to lay waste to the Clans.
