Chapter 2: Thorax and Pharynx

A Few Years Later

Blue Fang walked to the mess hall where the changelings ate. They didn’t have much to eat really. Just moss, berries, and apples they stole from Sweet Apple Acres. time for more terrible grub Blue Fang thought.

He walked towards the food table. “Hey Grubber,” Blue Fang said.

“Oh, hi Blue Fang,” Grubber replied. “I see your back for more.”

Blue Fang smirked. “There’s no love, so yeah,” Blue Fang said confidently.

“Yeah I feel you there Blue Fang.”

Blue Fang grabbed his food and left the mess hall. He flew to a small abandoned tunnel that he used as a hideout. He was about to eat the moss when he heard someone calling for help. He looked through the hole to see what was going on. “Is that—“ Blue Fang paused to see if he was right, “—it is,” he said. “That’s Thorax,” He said. “And, Pharynx?” Blue Fang was confused. Why was Pharynx in trouble? Pharynx was pretty strong and absolutely terrifying. Especially his bigger form.

He scanned the crowd of changelings. “Oh sweet Chrysalis,” Blue Fang said. “Hivehunter,” He said. Hivehunter was a strong Changeling. He’s beaten every Changeling that’s face him. Blue Fang jumped out of his hideout and ran towards the crowd. He squeezed through until he got to the front.

“Haha, that was too easy!” Hivehunter exclaimed.

He turned his attention to Blue Fang. “Blue Fang old buddy,” Hivehunter greeted. Blue Fang looked annoyed, not because Hivehunter was being a jerk, but because he treated Blue Fang like he was his best friend or something.

“Hey Hivehunter,” Blue Fang said. Blue Fang looked at Thorax, who looked like he was going to die. Pharynx on the other hand looked pretty mad. “Hivehunter—“ Blue Fang was interrupted by Hivehunter.

“I know, I know, I would be scared of me too,” Hivehunter said. Before Blue Fang could say anything else, Hivehunter said, “arena, Wednesday, 4:00pm, be there,” and left.

Blue Fang walked towards Thorax and Pharynx.

“You didn’t have to do that,” Thorax said.

“Yeah Blue,” Pharynx followed up.

“Hey, I did what I had to do,” Blue Fang replied.

“But now that you’ve interrupted his... fun, he wants to fight you!” Thorax said.

“I know, wish me luck,” Blue Fang said before walking away.
